I would recommend to anyone looking to buy a car that has problems everywhere else. The process was so easy and I was able to get the car I wanted, not one I had to choose. I pretty much finished the approval process within 30 min of talking with Amber. When I got there everything was pretty much complete and was out in about an hour. My suv was completely checked over and sent me on my way with a full tank of gas. This is a great place with some great people.

I really enjoy my experience with DriveTime, it was the easiest process I’ve ever experience with getting a car. Daisy was so great at helping me in the buying car experience! I ended up with a Hyundai Sonata limited ! I do not have the best credit but they will work with you. Come here for a easy process on getting a car, although the interest is a lil bit expensive you’ll have a car that you can depend on!

Just got a used car from here. I was afraid I wasn’t going to get approved because of my credit (580) but the online offer said my down payment could be as as low as 395 but I put down 1500 with the option to refinance with the lender in 60 days. If you go ask for Deen he was very accommodating and wanted to make sure I left with a car that I would like!

I went DriveTime located in New Castle Delaware 19720, with the expectation of being jumped on for a quick sale. Instead I was surprised to see that all the representatives there provided zero pressure, were patient, and kind. I did have an issue with the first Nissan Rougue where something mechanically needed to be addressed. DriveTime was quick to address when I brought it up and allowed me to switch to a better model for me, as I was inside my 5 day grace period to try it and be sure the vehicle is a good fit. They offer a great warranty package which yes of course increases monthly cost but obviously thos expected and importantly worth it. I will of course amend if unforseen issues arise but honestly as of this rating I am genuinely pleasantly surprised. -Chris

So I scheduled a 5 PM appointment on a Friday to buy a car. I reserved a car a liked, but bought something else 😄. The lobby was a little busy, but everyone was attended to. There is a seating area with a tv for children, as well as, plenty of other seating.The lobby looked clean, and they follow Covid guidelines. Upon entry I was greeted, and directed to Tenisha. Tenisha handled my appt with such honesty, positivity, and gave plenty of useful advice. She’s very knowledgeable of the favorable features of each vehicle. She even helped me get my phone paired to the new Bluetooth!! She made the process so quick, however I never felt “rush off the lot” 🥰 Go see Tenisha!

So I had just bought my son a brand new Chevy Malibu and 2 weeks after my 2008 Suburban died. So I had very little down payment. I went in and spoke to Oliver, he ran my info and told me what was available in my price range. I had several SUV's to choose from, and I was shocked really! I chose a 2015 Equinox with only 60,000 miles on it. It's in perfect condition too. So yes, the APR is High and I'm paying way more for it, but I already had 1 car loan and new I wasn't going to get another unless it was at a buy here pay here place. I was much happy dealing with Drive time then the small shady car lots. So happy I decided to give it a chance! And I got the extra 5 year warranty that covers drivetrain and the 3 year for AC/heater other stuff. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me!!

had a horrible time at the drive time in jersey where they clearly didn't even check the cars on a regular basis. each car i test drove had an oil leak or just wasn't as pictures online (chipped paint, some cars had snow still on it showing they hadnt been ran in days). however, the drive time in wilmington de was an actual dream. their newest employee (who i believe name was dean) was so nice and understanding about each question me/my family had, would recommend to anyone looking for a car!

My credit score wasn’t good yet I qualified for a lot of nice cars due to DriveTime’s unique scoring system. Our salesperson Charles “Chuck” Ingram was awesome! He didn’t try to force us into purchasing certain vehicles, and instead listened to what we wanted and allowed us to see and drive the cars we were interested in. Had an overall fantastic experience!! I have really bad credit and I got hit and totaled my car and was desperate to get a car bc I’ve been paying for my rental for a week and a half and with my credit situation it wasn’t looking good..had a bad experience with Carvana and I really started to feel defeated. With Covid and all it really put a pause on my fixing of my credit so I just felt like I was either screwed or going to have to go to some lemon type car place and although I know there aren’t too many options for someone like me, I’m still spending my money so I’d like to not hate what I’m investing in..I started dealing with the Plymouth meeting location and they were helpful but their inventory was slim pickins so I checked out langhorne and it was a little better then I came home and checked out new castle online and just drove down to look at a few cars and it was 7:30 and they close at 8 and they were so friendly and let me creep around the lot and then I started communicating with Chuck!! He is a stand up dude! He even saved me from a moth!! Lol and picked it out of my hair! He spent his entire shift with us (due to us having to find certain paperwork)and I felt so bad but he was so pleasant the entire day and even seemed happy to see us through to the end!! If there’s any kind of promotion to be offered or prize to offer, he deserves it!! I am a hairdresser and a bartender and I deal with people all day everyday and I never write reviews but chuck deserves it all!! Both sale reps Charles and Jeff were very helpful and made me feel comfortable. I didn't feel rushed or forced to get any car but what we were looking for. I've got bad credit and got financed and it was fast and easy with a very reasonable down payment. By very reasonable I mean in my budget which was less than a thousand at the time. Test drove the vehicle we agreed on (my wife and myself). And if not for a rusty muffler I'd have drove home that day but it was replaced quickly and we drove home today with our new vehicle (new for us) (aka used). Very happy and would highly recommend them to family and friends. Anyone looking for a car that's affordable at a very reasonable price should come here.

They were very nice I didn't have much of a credit history and they worked with me and I was so happy. Be careful when reading their reviews though. They ask you to write a review when you're waiting for everything to be processed. The combination of you being excited for your new car and knowing that they're going to read it while you're sitting in their office leads to A LOT of "5-star" reviews. If they use the person's named who helped them in their review, they're probably filling it out at the dealership. If you are in a situation where you can get a car somewhere else, do so. Their warranties aren't that great and almost all of their cars are stock models that they bought at auction from Enterprise or a similar place. If you have credit issues, DriveTime is A LOT better than many other places. My initial review was 5 stars and had a lot of exclamation marks. I just wanted to watch out for anyone in the market for a car.

I purchased a vehicle from DriveTime in New Castle on Saturday. The entire process was fast and easy from start to finish. All of the managers were extremely helpful but I worked mostly with Matt and Michelle. Michelle helped me pick out a car that works for me that I love (2013 KIA Optima) with great payments and low mileage! The contracting was not like your typical long and drawn out process. Though Matt was fast and enjoyable (while cracking a joke or two), he was very thorough and left me with no questions to ask. You will not be disappointed with the service here at Drive Time. Everyone is very friendly, professional, and really takes out the time to help you find what you are looking for. I highly recommend this to everyone in need of a vehicle.

I had a great experience at drive time. Not only that, but I’m beyond happy with my new Chevy equinox. It really was a great deal!! There was a minor issue with the headlight but it was an easy fix, and some minor issues are to be expected with used car buying. Used car buying can be stressful, but our sales consultant was very patient with us and reassured us every chance he got. I will be using Drive Time for my next vehicle purchase and thank you again for my beautiful new Equinox!! I finally love driving again for the first time in a long time!!

A surprisingly pleasant car buying experience! The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. My salesman, Jeff even drove up to a dealership outside of Philly to pick up the vehicle I was interested in. After a bad experience at another dealership, I was welcomed and accepted at DriveTime and was able to drive away in a great "new to me" car (minus the intense smell of cigarette smoke). I only have 2 minor gripes- 1) I had to request that the car be washed, and I will need to do an odor "bomb" to remove the smell of cigarette smoke. 2) It would be nice if you left the dealership with at least a half a tank of gas. I live in MD and had to make the trip home on less than a 1/4 of a tank of gas- I made it home thankfully but that is something you shouldn't have to worry about with a new to you vehicle.
