I had to take my car in for a recall and called to schedule an appointment. When I arrived, I was waited on immediately. The employees were courteous & knowledgeable. An emissions test was also requested by me and performed. My car was ready after only one hour. Definitely deserve my 5 star rating.

The service team rep Rich was courteous and helpful; he kept me updated on the status of the repairs to my Ford edge. The only reason why I did not give the rating a 5 star is due to the the service team not checking that everything worked in my car, the horn and the windshield fluid sensor weren’t working and I was give a quote to replacement of the sensor. So had I didn’t do the replacement, because I had to take my car back due to the horn not working, and when service team took a secondary look at the issue, they found the wires for the horn and the windshield sensor were mixed up. I guess the repair team was in a hurry to fix the car and didn’t perform a thorough check to make sure everything was working. All in all my experience was good with the service area; I’d give it a B+.

Great customer service. Clean location. Great timing. Friendly agents, but just know that they will try to upsell and get you to spend more money when you go in for a simple oil change. They will give you a list of things wrong with your car and have you worried, simply to make more money. Keep that in mind.

The service department helped us out in a very difficult situation. We were driving through St. Louis to our home, four hours away, when our car had engine problems. We looked up the closest Ford dealership. We drove there and they got us in and out in about an hour. It was close to closing time so if they hadn’t taken the time to fix our car we would have had to leave it and rent a car to drive home since we had work and school the next day. Everyone was very friendly and professional. I never thought we’d find a place to help us that same day. So fortunate that we went to Schicker Ford!

It was a fairly smooth transaction. This is the first car I've bought in St. Louis instead of on the Illinois side. Richard was very knowledgeable and patient when unexpected issues arose. My only small complaint about the process is that it was the first time I had to leave a dealership, pick up a check from the bank, and drive it back. Had to drive back and forth several times to get everything done. Typically, the sale and paperwork has always been done in-house when I've purchased previously. Otherwise, I ended up with exactly what I wanted, and an acceptable price for my trade. It is a great family owned dealership with many years of experience. I will definitely consider them in the future.

We are Ford all the Way- had 2000 excursion 17?years about 370,000 miles- never a squeak or Squeal- own two expeditions now. Had great Lincoln MKZ, hybrid Fusion and Hybrid CMax and leased a Ford Edge- all quality rides. We switched from Chevrolet in 1996 when we had a suburban that kept blowing out and GM said nothing with car and just reset it and every time we drove over 58 miles an hour the speedometer would spike and we would lose First gear. We looked for an honest manufacturer and an honest dealer for service as well as sales. The people at Ford especially Schicker Ford Are honest, hard working and stand up for the customer. Ford makes quiet, well built autos. I drive farther to get to Schicker because they are not gaming me- they don’t nickel and dime you. Ike Bibas deserves our loyalty as do the service people and the Quick Lane is a godsend.

This is toward the service 🐕‍🦺 department. I love taking my vehicle to this location because of the service man named Ron that I've been dealing with for over 20 years with my Ford vehicles. What I don't like is when I miss him and I have to deal with them other service workers I get all attitudes and the most I don't know, I don't know, I don't know that I ever seen from any Car Professional. This the second time that actually happened. The first time the service man had a lot of mouth toward my wife so I may have personal pull up. I'm kind until the moment that I'm not. You should never provoke your customers to anger. And I expressed that's to Ron what happened. Don't never play with a man's wife, children, food and money. Second time Ron told me to talk to the people that was there because he was gone for the evening and explain my concern. It seemed like it was a real bother to deal with me. Thank you Ron for always being diligent, forthcoming and honest. I'll be back to 👉🏾YOU👈🏾 when my ordered parts come. The customer service for Ron is the only reason why I gave it a three star because I want to drop it all way down.

I am changing my previous review about my wife's 2003 Ford Ranger's service experience not because it was wrong but because of a lot of work with Rich trying to make things better and making an effort to make things better. He gave me us both his card for us to contact him directly to hopefully avoid the misgendering and the run around stuff from a couple of weeks ago. The car is a lot better finally but service experience has gotten better since Rich is back. The power steering pump howling from the brand new pump is quieter than the last 3 rebuilt ones but noisy power steering pumps seem to be a Ford issue across a several trucks looking at numerous Ford repair boards and YouTube videos by Ford Master Mechanics and service technicians going back to prepandemic the supply chain from the pandemic just made things worse like everything else. I guess we found one that we can live with. They fixed the water temp gauge that seemed to stop working somewhere around pump 3 and fixed some other loose connections likely from the engine replacement from another shop in October - November 2021. It was reasonable to think the vibration at about 65 was from the right rear primary brake shoe lining coming off the shoe and wedging under the secondary shoe and dragging but it still has the vibration after the replacement of the shoes and drums. Rich went with my wife the next day after the brake drum and shoe replacement not normally his job but the only way for him to understand what was wrong and they figured out that it was a wheel issue and he had it taken to a different balancer the wheel weights all taken off and rebalanced from scratch and got it as fixed as possible without going with new tires which he said wasn't quite needed until fall or early winter. No longer saying don't go just know what you are going into and be prepared and preferably deal with Richard Moore. I would say if you are going to use this Ford Dealer ask the service writer if they are going on vacation or on leave soon and if possible hold off on service until that service writer is going to be there throughout the process and make sure to get regular updates that issues are fully addressed and expect to have to wait awhile and hopefully have a secondary vehicle. Considering a car is usually the second or third largest purchase in a persons life (after housing and education) holding service on that purchase to a reasonable high standard of getting it done right, accurate timely information and quality service. The dealer should be the best at their familial makes of cars (i.e. for Ford dealers Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles and going way back Continental, Edsel and Merkur, those were actually separate brands under the Ford umbrella). Hopefully the fights to get this right are done until the next oil change or regularly scheduled service interval.

Generally speaking a good enough dealership. Had some last minute issues with tacked on fees to my vehicle that I had ordered(at the time we ordered the vehicle we were told it would be waived). Had some back and forth but the manager insisted on charging us. But, Jim did a great job of handling the paperwork quickly and stayed late to accommodate my work schedule for pickup.

Don't usually write reviews unless it's exceptionally good, or exceptionally bad service. Luckily, Schicker falls on the exceptionally good side. I bought a new 2021 mustang from here and worked with Jim Massarella to do the sale. I knew what I wanted to pay, which we were able to agree upon without any back/forth haggling and it was the fastest car purchase I've ever done, as well as the easiest process I've had to go through. Not only that, but when I started the financing process with Marc Brevard, we started chatting about my previous cars and a trade in I had done recently. I was unaware of Missouri's 180 day grace period for trade in credit but Marc informed me of it, saving me quite a bit of money overall again. If I do buy another ford soon, this is where I'll start my search after this process, as it was the simplest car purchase I've ever had and the first time I've saved money from a dealer.

I’ve had a hard time finding the vehicle for the right price given how the market is as of June 2022. The experience at this dealer was nice. Rodney did a good job of facilitating the sale. Once I found a car that checked all my boxes it’s only a matter of dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s. There was some confusion about filling the gas tank and the wheel studs. They only put a quarter of a tank in the car giving me half a tank total (not complaining, I’m very grateful especially with today’s gas prices) which was not what was expected. Then as far as the wheel studs go, they removed the wheel studs that required a key and never replaced with a factory wheel studs. I was moving out of town the next day so driving hundreds of miles missing wheel studs was not an option. I had to go to AutoZone to replace them myself. I was told I’ll be reimbursed for the trouble so I’ll be waiting on that. Other than those few things it was an ok experience.

I was traveling cross country when my car broke down in St. Louis, on a Saturday when almost no one is open. We stopped at Schicker Ford and was greeted by a team of incredible people that were so kind and willing to help. We really had no options and my SUV and trailer literally died pulling into their driveway. Stephanie handled everything for us, and even set us up in a rental car and later a truck (no availability from enterprise in Ohio) so we could continue on our trip. Stephanie and the team stayed in contact with us throughout the process and were genuinely invested in making sure we were safe and could help my friends parents move back to Michigan from California. Without the folks at Schicker Ford going above and beyond to make sure we made it to our destination, we might’ve been delayed for weeks while my car was getting fixed. They offered to have my car shipped to Michigan so I didn’t have to wait for the repairs and parts to arrive. My truck threw a rod, needed a replacement so I could go to work. Very little money for me to work with, no trade in and credit challenged. Inquired all around town, no one willing to work with me. Went to Schicker, spoke to David in sales, told him of my situation. He had a used van available and set to work with John in financing. They got me approved with what I had down but loan was high interest. They told me that they thought that they could do better, spent two days working on it for me. In the end they procured me a loan that was a good seven percentage points lower than the first. I am now back to work with a payment that is reasonable, a better warranty and a great feeling about my dealing with Schicker Ford. I didn't want to get stuck with a lemon again. So I went ahead and applied through my credit card company and shopped through them to find a 2015 Dodge journey at McMahon Ford, and was pre-approved. I left work early and headed over and met with Les Johnson who really took care of me and was able to get me approved, actually approved! They worked with me on my down payment, thanks to the finance guy, Derrick. I was able to drive away with an almost brand new car, just needs a few minor fixes and it's good to go! The warranty on it is great too! Will send everyone I know to these guys, I know they will be in good hands and very happy. Not even 24 hours later and a few people are already wanting to go there! OMG you won't believe the deal I just got from Travis and Ryan at Schicker Ford. I had been looking at the Ford Flex for several months and with spring here, our two year old starting day-care, it was time. I had done my research and knew what they were going for by age and mileage, and was looking for very specific features. After finding three that got away, I found one at Schicker. Living in St. Charles the drive was very reasonable and I had an old beater to trade in. I contacted the dealer from the internet and the response was quick. They left me feeling that they were there to help but not to be pushy. The made the arrangements easy on me and Travis Fitzgerald was there waiting on me and had the car ready. I want familiar with the area so he gave me some great directions on how to get it in the highway and experience really driving conditions. He answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable. When we returned they looked and my pre-approval and offered to try and find me a better rate, which they did. Travis made sure both my mom and me were comfortable while we waited for our turn with Ryan, and we were able to quickly come to terms with what we needed. I even purchased the extended warranty from them, as I plan on using their vehicle on trips and wanted to keep it running great. Knowing how expensive car parts and especially labor can be this was a no brainier. Once we were done I was able to drive it home. Travis has the car prepared and wished me luck. He even made sure I made it home okay and was still happy with the car. Give these guys a chance, they are very professional and work to help you out. I am glad to say that McMahon Ford (Pre-owned location on S. Kingshighway) went above and beyond to satisfy me and my family needs. No one likes change and we were a bit skeptical to try out a new dealership. I arrived at the dealership and Tom Masterson greeted me with a smile. He really listened to my needs and wants and together we found the vehicle for my family. Tom really cared about making sure we had the right vehicle. A vehicle that we are proud to owned, a Ford F-150. He was not just interested in selling us a car that he wanted us to buy just for commission. A later, that really proved to be true. A few days later we had some problems arise with the truck. I contacted Tom and he told me to come in immediately to rectify the problem. I did and he and the manager of the location Gordon Kinder gave me a vehicle and had the car service. Well, most of the issues were fixed but one still remained. I again contacted Gordon and again he had the truck serviced and wash for me when I came to pick it up. I really enjoyed that. Still we had a small issue with the truck. Now let’s be honest here it is about three to four weeks after the purchase of the truck. Most dealerships would have wanted me to pay to fix the problems or completed ignored me and calls. They would have maybe even tried to brush me off. Not Gordon and Tom though. They told me to come back in one more time and they put their best mechanic on the job allowing me to converse with the mechanic so he could get a total synapse of what happen to diagnose and fix the problem. Needless to say, IT WORKED and not one extra cent came out of our pockets. We have a truck that we are proud to own that is safe for our children. I want to say a public THANK YOU to Tom Masterson and Gordon Kinder for their wonderful and genuine customer service. You can be assured, like you assured me, that you now have a MACK-Mahon family for a long time to come. I recommend if you are looking for a vehicle and you want to make sure your needs are meet. I bought a pre-owned 2006 Scion xB with 60,000 miles on it (low for a 10 year old car) from McMahon Ford on Kingshighway on November 3, 2016. I never write reviews for anything, but in this case I have to because I was so shocked at how things went. I sold cars for a couple years awhile back, and I thought I knew how things were going to go, but I was wrong! I found the car listed online, and ended up dealing with two different salesmen on the car, because of their schedules (hey, car salesmen need days off too). Their names are Mark Jones and Keith Harbstreet. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy to deal with they both were. I know the bad rap car salesmen can get sometimes—like I said, I used to be one—but they were nothing like the stereotypes. Initially, I just assumed that I got lucky getting a couple of their best guys, but I was wrong there too. I bought the car for a different price than it was listed online. With my past experience, I felt that I could make a pretty good deal for myself, and I did. They listened attentively when I explained my reasoning for the deal that I wanted, and were quick, courteous and fun to talk to throughout. In the end, we made a deal that made us both happy, and I drove the car off the lot, pleased as punch. Within a couple of days, I noticed some odd characteristics about the car that concerned me, so I took it to a Toyota dealership and had it inspected. The issue wasn’t immediately apparent, but because I’ve owned one of these cars before (a 2005 model), and because the Toyota service department deals with a lot of these cars, together we were able to identify that there was in fact something wrong with the car. So I took the car back to McMahon Ford to talk to them about it. This is when I expected things to go south, but again, I was wrong. I spoke to Gordon Kinder, the Pre-owned Manager late that day, and he immediately setup an appointment with the Service Department and a meeting with the Service Manager, Brian Hollis, for me first thing the following day. I brought the car in and handed the keys to a Service Writer named Ron Guiterrez. I met with Brian and he assured me that they would get the car in right away, and they did! They were both very quick, courteous and professional. I started feeling like some kind of VIP or something—none of this lined up with my expectations. After the issue with the car was confirmed by the service technician (whose name I failed to get), Gordon sat down with me again to resolve the problem. Again, this is where I knew things were going to go south. I’ve dealt with a few Used Car Managers from both sides of the desk, and I know that the buck stops with this guy. It’s his job to make sure that his department makes money. I figured that all of the wonderful treatment I’d received up to this point was just to keep me satisfied until they knew how much the problem was going to cost ME, and let the manager give me the bad news. But nope…wrong again! He turned off his cellphone, actually THANKED me for bringing the issue to his attention, and then we had a really pleasant, brief discussion wherein he asked ME what I thought was the best solution. I told him what I thought was fair, but still did not actually expect to get anywhere close to what I was asking for. To be clear, the issue with the car was A) unexpected for the mileage B) not easily noticeable and as such, definitely not their fault, and C) quite expensive to fix. You know how he responded? He said, “I agree. We’ll take care of it.” Gordon and I shook hands, the Service Department ordered the parts and fixed the car as soon as they arrived, and I’ve got the car back. It drives great, I love it, and I couldn’t be happier. Like I said, I never bother to write reviews, but everything about my experience at McMahon Ford was just too good to believe. I’ve always thought that the car business was just about the numbers, but not at McMahon Ford. They care about making people happy and earning customers for life. They just got another one!

But when I asked the service staff about labor cost the guy acted bothered I even asked and just blurted out a number at me with no further explanation. Got my answer I guess. I’ve purchased 4 vehicles from them over the past few years, my latest purchase was a 2017 Ford F-350 Dually, my old truck was having problems and while leaving St.Louis on vacation pulling my 5th wheel RV I broke down on the highway before I got out of town, they brought me out a loaner truck with a 5th wheel hitch in it so I could continue on my vacation, this happened two times to me, who does that? I purchased many vehicles over the years but since I got turned onto Schicker Ford, Richard Witkowski & James Kingery I wouldn’t go anywhere else, truly a great pain free experience, before Schicker Ford it was not a pleasant experience.
