He makes sure you’re not only comfortable behind the wheel but also knowledgeable about all the ins and outs. There are so so many incredible features on my car that would’ve gone untapped had Jay not taken the time to sit down and teach me everything — in practice! We drove around Forest Park until I had a good handle on things. He’s incredibly patient and generous with his time, and his encyclopedic knowledge of Mercedes from decades of selling them is unparalleled.

It took 14 months for my ordered car to arrive, but my sales advisor, Jay Schuessler kept me informed every step of the way as it was waiting for parts, then a ship, and finally on the truck to St. Louis. He was thorough when going over how to drive the vehicle as this was our first Mercedes purchase. From the time my wife and I arrived, Danny Skipper was extremely focused and attentive to all of our questions and comments. We went out of curiosity but found a new car that got our attention and interest. Skipper arranged for a test drive and displayed his expertise and knowledge about the vehicle answering all questions we had. We left, telling him we wanted to talk things over (usually a cop-out, I am sure) but he maintained his professional yet personable demeanor. We discussed the vehicle at home and once we made a decision notified Skipper who made the entire purchase process very smooth. After the paperwork was completed, he spent considerable time going over all the features of the S 500 with us. Even weeks later when we had questions he was, and remains, available to assist with questions. St Louis Mercedes Benz has earned repeat customers with my wife and I because of Skipper’s customer focus and service - period. The only thing we were not pleased with was the financial person who had a condescending attitude towards my wife regarding her paying for the car instead of financing it. He needs to work on his “people skills”.

I would like to let you know how deeply grateful we are for your team at MB of St.Louis, and especially to Bryan who went above and beyond for us on our brief service visit on Sept 23, 2022. We were journeying through St Louis in our RV on our way back to Canada. I inadvertently put gasoline in the tank and within a mile the Diesel engine of our sprinter chassis decided we were not moving another inch. We were somewhat panicked when we learned that there weren’t any Mercedes Benz dealers able to service us in the area. Bryan explained how backlogged MB of St Louis was with other Sprinters. Indeed, after making several calls locally I was told by all the mechanics and service bays that no one could help us. Out of desperation,I had the RV towed to the dealership and pleaded with Bryan to do his best. Compassionately, he told us he’d try to slip us in somewhere but that he was unable to service it that day. I booked a room at a hotel across the road. All our belongings were in the RV. We were at the mercy of Bryan. He must have noted the worry and concern we had about getting home, because within hours I received a phone call from him notifying us that the RV was roadworthy again and no damage had been done. The tank was emptied and the system flushed. The Mercedes Benz team of St Louis had miraculously and mercifully come to our aid! I personally counted over a dozen other Sprinters in the service lot, so I know and appreciate that Bryan performed an act of kindness that is unprecedented in your industry (at least in my experience). I cannot thank Bryan enough. Your dealership isn’t just about good auto service, it’s more importantly about human care. Even Bill was kind and compassionate as he tagged the vehicle when we arrived. I wish I lived In St Louis so I could call this dealership my local home base, but that isn’t the case. I’m forever grateful for the prompt and expert care we received from Mercedes Benz of St Louis. Talking on the phone with the service department was a miss for me. I had to explain my situation three times (who I am, my car year and model, and what I was calling about again, again and again). Put on hold every time I asked a question, as if this was the first time these questions have ever been asked. That does really build a lot of confidence with me. They could not answer basic questions, like to price of an oil change...? (Very weird) No one was rude or anything like that...just not attentive or enthuse about getting a new client. I have learned over time that not all MB dealerships are created equal. And most of the reviewers only have like one or two reviews, bot like. This is also weird. The only thing that really gets me on this...is that the advisor(s) (all levels) do not seem to know the cars they are selling. You would have thought I called and asked questions about service for a John Deer tractor. At some point I apologized as if I called the wrong department and I was assured this was the service department. You know, the first impression is normally the lasting impression. But this does not mean they do not take care of business, just caught lacking on phone performance.

We are so happy with our experience at Mercedes-Banz St. Louis! We researched online for months to find just the car for us. When we found a great car here, Casey helped us immediately and got us in touch with Todd. Since were out of state, Todd sent us a video of the car and pointed out all the details of the car. Todd was available by phone, text, and email the entire time. He worked with us and the credit union to make the transaction as smooth as possible. We chose to fly to St. Louis so we could drive our car back to Colorado. Todd had Steve come pick us up from the airport and take us to our car! Steve was a really nice guy to talk to on the way to the dealership and helped us with our luggage. When we got there, they had put two brand new tires on it for our drive home! Tire prices are very competitive with area businesses, ordered a set yesterday and they already had them by this morning. The waiting room is comfortable and always has fresh (complimentary) coffee. I haven't purchased off their showroom floor But every time I've wandered in there while waiting for my car to finish getting serviced the sales team have been extremely pleasant. It's a newer building and very clean. Super convenient location. I'd recommend this place to anyone

There I was, sitting in my trusty 2010 E550. We’ve had some good adventures but she was getting old. She was begging to retire. I went to Plaza and was getting beat and battered over the trade-in value. They were way under. I just wanted the fair KBB trade in value. Nothing crazy. That and the high pressure sales tactics I was ready to get out of there and narrowly escaped with my bank account in tact. I decided to press on and look elsewhere. I was coming up over the hill on I-64 and saw the most beautiful beacon of hope. A very sleek and stylish building. A building that looked like it belonged in place of the Taj Mahal. Not just any building. It was the Mercedes Benz of St Louis dealership. Upon entering the building (which was so nice I almost felt the need to take my shoes off at the front door), I was greeted by Scott G. Scott had a firm handshake. One that instills confidence right from the start. He showed me around and sat me down in a few cars. He was not in a hurry to sit me down at his desk to hammer out a deal and I really appreciated that. Scott actually listened to my needs and paired me with the perfect car. The test drive went great and I was ready to make a deal. Now we’re at the part that I normally dread. Hashing out a deal. We sat down and the first thing was to figure out what I was getting for my trade-in. I was drinking the complementary water while waiting on Scott to hit me with the numbers. He comes back and shows me the most reasonable break down I’ve ever seen. My trade-in offer was for KBB value. I did not have to fight one bit to get it there. Just a reasonable first offer through and through. After sorting out a few other details I signed. While we were waiting on the finance office Scott was telling me stories about his family and just being personable all around. Really made the time fly while we were waiting on finance. After all the paperwork was signed and the deal was done we went out to my new car. Scott sat down with me and showed me everything it could do. It was a lot of information to remember. Scott then asked me to come back again in about a week so he could show me everything again and give me a free car wash. I really like that he wanted to take the time to show me again and incentivize me to come back with a car wash. This is a guy who truly cares about his clients. The last thing Scott said to me before he got out of my car to send me on my way was “I am now your car guy”. Yes Scott, you are absolutely right. You are my car guy. Thank you for the excellent service.

I have a 2017 Winnebago Navion on a Sprinter chassis with 31,000+ miles. Brakes were squealing while on a recent trip and I thought my tires needed rotating. I was hoping that the brakes would only need to have pads replaced. I was expecting a cost north of $500. My service advisor, Darren, called to say that the brakes were fine and that a small rock and mud had gotten lodged in the pad area so they simply cleaned it out. He said the tires were wearing well so he made a call not to rotate them and that they had a good amount of tread left on them and were still safe so he just advised me that on the next service call I may need to replace the tires depending on the amount of wear. So instead of the cost being north of $500, it was south of $200. The point of this is that another dealership might have replaced the pads and rotated the tires and given me a good sized bill to pay. Mercedes-Benz of St. Louis has always treated me with honesty and I trust them. I will not take my vehicle anywhere else.

We have been back a few times for basic maintenance and the service area was great. Mercedes is a fantastic car. This location is new and centrally convenient in St. Louis. The sales experience was generally very good. I do feel we may have overpaid by focusing on terms of the lease rather than the price of the car--but their financing team was very good. Make sure you understand all costs of the lease. As for service, our service advisor (Dan) has been great. He truly cares about our experience. The service area is clean and very easy to get in and out. The overall building is a bit industrial looking from Hampton, but inside is nice and has good customer areas. PROS: New facility. Great selection. Central location. Very good service area and team. CONS: Not cheap. Building looks too industrial from street. Detail/car wash service was not great. Parking lot can be tricky to get in and out of, especially at busy times.

I have purchased many vehicles online over the years, frequently sight unseen, so this wasn’t my first time. I was searching for an AMG GTS, a relatively expensive high performance car. I also wanted a low mileage example in one particular color combination. A nationwide search uncovered three examples and I checked online reviews for all three sellers. That eliminated one of the cars, narrowing the choice down to two. I contacted both and in the process spoke with Rich Pfuhl at MB of St Louis as his name appeared in several positive comments in customer reviews. After introducing myself and assuring Rich I was a serious and capable buyer, I sent Rich a list of questions requesting answers or information about the car. He responded without delay to all of them with exactly what I needed to make a decision. Subsequent interactions were equally productive and his responses were diligent and timely. I provided a credit card deposit, subject to my inspection of the car and made reservations to fly to St Louis. The entire experience at the dealership was seamless. Upon arrival I inspected the car and it was exactly as Rich had represented. The purchase process at the dealership was seamless and efficient. My goal was to complete the purchase without delay and get on the road as quickly as possible driving my car back to FL. Rich had prepared everything in advance, and I left the dealership an hour ahead of schedule! He followed up with me the next day to make sure my trip went well and followed through on everything promised.
