If you are looking for a cart or need additions, this is the place to do business! We initially needed to get our cart street ready. Getaway did a fantastic job adding the light package and second row seat. We were so happy with our cart, when it was time for upgrades we went right back to Getaway. We added speed and tires and are incredibly happy! Excellent customer service and the work is always done in a timely manner. I highly recommend!

Just bought my second cart from Getaway! After driving the zippy electric cayenne Club Car for 4 years, I decided I need to be able to cart without distance limits. I switched to gas and am thrilled with the brand new sleek beast! In addition to his quick wit and joyful spirit, Joe is a master of customer service—always available to answer questions and give advice about optimizing your cart life. If you've been on the fence about buying a cart bc it seems indulgent, you probably just don't realize the utility and joy it will bring you. Just buy it!

Joe is the man. If you are buying or needing work on a cart don’t call anyone else. I acquired a very beat up golf cart for $100. It came with no batteries and years of dirt. I cleaned up the cart and called a number of stores for batteries. Joe not only had the batteries in stock but walked me through the install process. He also had a charger and the cables I needed. Once I had everything installed the cart still didn’t work. This is where Joe went above and beyond. he took the time to walk me through the process to diagnose the issue and had the parts to fix the problem in stock. He was a pleasure to work with and just incredible wealth of golf cart knowledge.

Joe is the man! He made a true Christmas miracle happen. I had been searching four months under every rock in North America trying to find a specific electric bike for my partner. Like really even the internet was out or did not carry the size I wanted. As a hail mary effort, I found this little gem carrying a wide variety of the brand I wanted. Joe was able to get the bike ordered for me and communicated very clearly the whole time. When he said he would call, he did. When he said it would be in before the date I needed it, it was. I’m truly grateful and humbled by how smoothly the process was. Joe assembled the bike for us and gave it a little charge before we got there- great customer service! I did some shopping around for a while and this was clearly the place to go. When I compared Getaway Carts with other dealers and private sellers they offered the best deal. While the carts are pre-owned Getaway fixes them up and replaces all of the key components with new parts when others just sell as is for a similar total price. For example a brand new battery on an electric cart costs up to $800 and that's why I think I got a great value. They also customize the carts with a variety of options! The best part is the carts come with a 6 month warranty, something I really appreciate and tells me they stand by their work and product. You might save a few bucks from a private seller, but you won't get the same value. Not only do they sell carts they also offer all of the maintenance, repair, and, instillation services you'll need. Also, Joe is a good guy and offered great customer service.

I contacted Joe during my hunt for a custom golf cart and he immediately stood out from the rest of the prospective sellers, both local and internet based. He eagerly answered all of my questions and offered his advice and opinions when I needed them. I met him at his shop and he basically offered a clean slate to build a cart exactly as I wanted. I asked many questions and he never seemed annoyed, or inconvenienced. He built a cart with higher end parts than all the other dealers I had found and did it at a price that was very competitive. Once the cart was completed, he dropped it off for free on a trailer with his personal vehicle. It had a minor issue that I wasn't thrilled with and he insisted on picking it up, making it right, and returning it, all on his own dime. His efforts in assuring complete customer satisfaction, quality products and fair prices make these guys THE go to destination for carts. They aren't a huge corporate juggernaut. The "shop" is small and lacks a "showroom", but don't judge this book by the cover. I would recommend them to anyone who is considering a cart. Top notch.

(Especially if you live in Soulard or Benton Park given their location is conveniently located in one of the old Lemp Brewery buildings.) These guys built our family a custom build six seat limo with all the bells and whistles for a great price. Best of all, the entire build process took about a week from start to finish.
