We have had our van serviced for years at Dave Mungenast and when it came time to purchase another Honda Mungenast was at the top of the list. Gina was great to deal with. Communication was amazing, quick responses and she was able to get me information I requested. I was never pressured or harassed. She made sure to have vehicles ready when I showed up and was able to show me how all the accessories worked when asked. Entire process was easy, quick and hassle free. Love the fact most of their service employees have been with Honda for at least 15-20 years, so seeing a familiar face every time I go in is refreshing. They always provide a fair and honest opinion regarding any repairs needed. One thing that needs to improve is the complimentary car wash:hours are NOT consistent, and it seems to be closed quite a lot.

we had a great experience at Honda Mungenast and my wife is absolutely in love with her new car. Our sales Rep Husein was great, he was very honest and straightforward, and he made everything so simple. Before my experience here, I used to hate to go car dealerships because I know I will have to waste a whole day in there, but here it was different. Although we had to come back the next day (it was my banks error not theirs), the whole process took in total less than 3 hours and we drove out of there with an amazing new car. I really recommend them because the entire staff is just so friendly and welcoming.

Recently totaled my car and was in need of a new one quickly. I decided I wanted a blue 2022 Civic and Dave Mungenast was the only place nearby that had one.
My salesperson, Gina Bommarito, was awesome! No complaints there. Very friendly, didn’t waste my time or insult my intelligence, got me a bottle of water while I waited, offered to pick me up from the rental car place, etc.
My only complaint, and the reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5, is that most dealerships have some kind of special perk when you buy from them – free maintenance for two years is a common one I’ve seen. Dave Mungenast offers free car washes but that’s about it. With the car/chip shortage and inventory issues, I didn’t have the luxury to be picky, so I bought from them anyway. But normally, I’d probably buy from a dealership that offered more perks.
One thing to note is that the price you see on the website is not the price you pay. They charge a $199 “admin fee” and tack on a few accessories (all-weather mats and such). They also do an extended warranty sales pitch but aren’t too pushy about it. It’s through a third-party, not Honda or Dave Mungenast, so I passed on it. I’ve had bad experiences with third-party extended warranties.
Overall, if you want a no-frills dealership with a good selection and friendly staff, Dave Mungenast is a good option.

We recently bought an Odyssey from Mungenast Honda and could not have been happier with the experience. Car buying in 2022 was quite an adventure. We either visited or talked to 7 different Honda dealerships and decided early on that Mark Houston at Mungenast was who we wanted to buy our van from. We actually passed on a van we could have bought 3 months earlier from another dealership because we were unhappy with the way we were treated there. Mark was honest and straight forward in his communication, attentive to our needs, and very responsive. He didn't mislead us about the available inventory to get us in for a sales pitch, try to sell us a vehicle we didn't want, or tack on a market adjustment to the price - all things we experienced at other dealerships. Overall our experience with Mark and Mungenast was positive, and we highly recommend them.

Service department is friendly and thorough. It is not the fastest in the world but the quality of service and best-in-class waiting area with full amenities more than make up for that. 5 stars for the Service. The original car purchase was less impressive. The deal was fair but our salesman blatantly lied to us about which cars he had in the lot. When he realized we knew what we were looking for and serious about a purchase he told us he had the model we wanted "coming off a truck right now." After we bought the car we found some paperwork in the glove box he forgot to take which showed the car had been on the lot for a month. He saw us looking at and quickly took it. 3 stars for the sales transaction.

I went in to do a test drive of a certified used vehicle.. Scott was friendly and greeted me as soon as I arrived. I decided to purchase the vehicle and Scott was easy to work with and thorough as he explained all the features on the vehicle. Brad in the finance department was very helpful and kind too. I recently leased a 2019 CR-V with Mungenast and I have to say it was the most pleasurable and transparent process I've ever experienced with a car dealership. I contacted just about every dealership in the STL area with the exact trim, color, and options I was looking for and specified I was shopping dealerships around the area for the best deal. I know the leasing process pretty well and had done plenty of research beforehand. Beth Williams was very quick to respond to my request and very clearly saw that I knew what I was doing. She was prompt, extremely transparent, and more than fair in her very first offer. A few more emails later, we'd negotiated a fantastic deal. Even though a few days had passed since initially contacting her, she was never pushy and answered all of my questions and concerns. Once we'd agreed on a deal, we made an appointment to finalize everything at the dealership and she very kindly helped me out with their dealership's finance process before I even came in. I was in and out of the dealership in less than an hour with absolutely no hiccups in the process. No one tried to up-sell me on anything I didn't want and the deal was exactly as we'd discussed in our email communication. Brad, the finance specialist, was also extremely friendly and to the point. I never felt pressured or uncomfortable at any point in the process and I would absolutely recommend this dealership to anyone who's looking for a new vehicle. I've had some pretty terrible experiences with some local dealerships, but this was a surprising breath of fresh air!

I reached out to the sales team via e-mail very late at night and was happy to see a response very early the next morning inviting me to come in for a test drive and view their inventory. I went into the dealership after work, at my convenience, and had a short wait before Rebecca walked up with the keys for a test drive in the car I selected online, which was waiting for me up front. While I was driving the car they appraised my trade-in (buh-bye, Ford) and had the results for me when I got back. I ended up buying their car because I fell in love with it.
The Mungenast waiting room is spacious, comfortable, and has snacks and drinks. The bathrooms are amazingly clean. My experience with the financing was positive and although I spent more time at the dealership than I had wanted, I drove away happy and satisfied that I had gotten a good deal and had been treated fairly.

In all my 15 years of buying cars on my own, I have always considered dealerships to be off limits. I wasn’t a fan of the expected haggling of prices nor the sleazy perception of car salesmen. I would instead comb Craigslist or other loose, unofficial websites for deals and usually get the run around but would eventually come out with something that ran. I most recently had an extremely frustrating experience with Carvana. My delivery date was postponed no less than seven times over the course of 30 days. The advocates I dealt with were kinda and willing to help but the nature of their automated business model didn’t allow anyone to actually help me. I came to Mungenast Honda on Lindbergh at my wits end. I was so impressed with my salesman, Eric and extremely surprised at the ease with which I was able to purchase a reliable car. I am very happy and I urge anyone on the fence about visiting a dealer for their next vehicle to try them first! You won’t be disappointed.

I was looking to buy a used car as I had a very tight budget. Went to Lou Fusz used cars and several other dealers none helped me to buy a car, and most of them were pointing my financial weakness.. I have been to Mungenast earlier, and I liked the way they treat me, but I was hesitating as their Certified cars were pricey.. However, I visited them just to check their cars under $10k, but they helped me buy a 2-year-old Accord with 100k warranty at a budget I can afford.. Rebecca, the salesperson, took very good care of us and Brad made the whole deal possible... Even if my loan hadn't been approved, they still would have treated me well.. They made me happy..

We test drove multiple cars and even left the first day. We then came back two days later and Bob had the car we were looking at the most set aside for us so no one else bought it. Mind blown. My husband and I were in from out of town for a funeral when the transmission went out. Obviously, we had no appointment. We brought the car in on Saturday and the service department was already slammed. But Tom Linder in service knew we were really in a bind and made it happen! He called back within three hours with the diagnosis and was able to put us into a very nice loaner car. The trouble fell under the warranty, the work was approved on Monday and fixed on Wednesday, with Tom or Steve keeping in touch the whole way through! We thought we were in for a crisis, but it turned out to barely be an inconvenience with their excellent service. I highly recommend St. Louis Honda!

From setting the radio, adding favorites to the contact list, and even setting the car to have the doors lock automatically and more.. Had a great experience here! My husband and I had gone to another Honda dealership and had a horrible experience. They added on a bunch of fees and used our down payment for their add on fees. We really weren’t happy with the vehicle so we thought we might trade in our HRV for a CRV but the payment was going to be to high since we had just leased the vehicle. Kenneth Rauth called me to let me know he could get us the CRV for not much more than we were already paying. Went in and the car was out front ready to go. We were in and out quickly. We read many positive Consumer Reports reviews on Honda vehicles that we decided to try this dealership when purchasing our next car. And I'm glad we did, as they had a nice collection of used vehicles in good condition. I would advise you to do your own research on extended warranty plans to find beforehand if they would be right for you, as we felt that their finance / insurance department was pushing this extra a little bit too hard, using fear to close the sale. Independently from that, our salesman, Mike Medlin, was wonderful. He was patient, insightful and really attentive helping us choose our next car. I travel across the country working with new car dealerships as a vendor in a sales role. They are likely approached dozens of times a day either over the phone or in person, not to mention the countless emails they receive.

The work I needed done on my car was a state emissions inspection, oil change and tire rotation. I was able to get an appointment for a date and time that fit my schedule very nicely.
The service consultant asked if I wanted the 30,000 mile check up, and I said no thanks. No sales pressure, which is great - he listened and didn't try to push it further. So I thought about it and decided to take that option anyway and got a discounted price. Unexpected, so that was nice.
The dealer had mailed me a coupon for a free loaner car, and that was very convenient. I didn't have to rely on another person for transportation that day. It worked out very well for me.
The check in and check out process was very simple and took an appropriate amount of time.
This was a great service experience.

I just stopped in to the service department because my Honda (that I didn't even buy there by the way) had a loose cover for the bottom of the engine bay. They were super nice and understanding, and took care of me right away, didn't even charge me for the time or the bolts to get it back in place! I hate buying cars. I was in the market for a new 3 row SUV and did a lot of research. I had a list of several cars, looked at features, price, etc. I ended up test driving 3 with the intent to test drive more if needed. I ended up liking a few different options but the Honda Pilot was top of my list.
The experience I had at Mungenast was very positive. No one was pushy. No one was deceptive. The 'vibe' of the place, including its service dept, was upbeat. I have in the past had good and bad dealership experiences and I could tell this was a good place.
I received a fair deal and I am really happy with my choice.

Prices on oil changes and basic maintenance can't be beat. Service is always friendly and efficient. The car is great but that says more about Honda than the dealer. Rob Carroll was my sales consultant, I'm an engineer and appreciated Rob's product knowledge, he listened to my wants, explained options for me to consider and was quick to answer questions (my late night emails were answered before the next day's business).
We had a specific color preference... they found it, no issues.
Pricing... fair (no games), we quickly came to terms on a sale price that satisfied me; I'm confident I could not have done better elsewhere.
The Technology Specialists are great... lots of tech on our civic touring. They went over all the features when we pickup the car. If we have questions we know who to call.

Recently moved from Canada to St. Louis, and tried importing my Honda from Canada to the US. One essential part is a 'Compliance Letter' from American Honda or Honda dealerships confirming the conformity of car to the EPA and DOT (Dept. of Transport) regulations.
I went to two other Honda dealerships and they knew nothing about this. Reasonably, they might not have a foreign customer requesting such a letter in ages. The negative part was their lack of sense of helpfulness. Even one of the dealerships was firmly insisting the US Custom and Border Patrol police, Honda website and Department of Transport are all wrong and I had to go to the local police. He refused to check online to see for himself!
I desperately ended up in Mungenast dealership almost 16 miles away. Chris, the service advisor gentleman, did not know about it either, but he was compassionate enough to connect me to the one of the best managers of the world, Teresa-the Service Manager. She greeted me very friendly, welcomed me to St. Louis, and tried to get someone on American Honda lines, which in 10 minutes was giving us instructions on how to get the job done. It took almost half an hour of Teresa's time and she remained extremely patience and helpful and made everything super easy for me.
Soon I get my car down here, I will return for service, no matter how far it is from my place. Chris, Teresa and all virtuous members of Mungenast Honda, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

I visited for a transmission flush and find their customer waiting area to be very nice. The reps are friendly and courteous. They provided a free inspection and recommendations for services, which I verified to be 100% accurate, so they are honest and not just trying to sell people stuff.
The price is a bit higher than what others charge for similar service, but going with anything other than Honda transmission fluid is asking for transmission problems.
Some of their more basic services (oil change, break fluid and radiator flush) are quite a bit higher than other places, which is why I deducted 1 star.

I've been loyal to Mungenast Honda since my mom bought her 2001 Civic there. I bought my first new car, a 2015 Fit, used in house financing, and have used their service department for all my scheduled service appointments. The customer service is excellent, I've never had a bad experience, all of their reps are incredibly helpful, and it's great to recognize the same team still there. The lounge is a great place to wait so I don't dread an extended appointment if it does go longer. I expect to take my vehicle to Mungenast Honda for the life of my car

Buying a car can be a less than fun experience. I went through a couple dealers and got a lot of runaround and double talk. It wasn’t until I worked with Kurt Marty that I was treated like an actual customer. We settled on a fair price and were able to do most of the preliminary work online or through text. I go here for all my service needs for my Honda. Not as expensive as most places and staff is awesome. Waiting area is cool with free coffee and waters and some low key snacks. Although the last 2 times in have lost 2 tire valve stem covers. Not cool and makes me a bit worried what else was done as a rush job.

Went in for service on vehicle..have had transmission replaced three times in one year amongst other repairs. We never look under the hood and as a result, we weren't aware that some pieces were missing that didn't affect the performance of the car. Our normal service had ordered the missing part, but had moved. We returned to have the part installed. We were working with Chris and telling him about our situation. He was very unfriendly and rude, maybe because he assumed we were trying to get something free or maybe because of who we were. He doubted what we explained and said that there was no free part or service and called his manager, Dee. I understood what he was saying but the way he treated us was hurtful. Dee was awesome! She treated us with courtesy and respect and listened to our concerns. Thank God for allowing us to work with her. We are still spending close to $300.00 on other services outside of the missing part. I really appreciate her taking care of us.

Our Finance specialist was Beverly Nahlik. Her knowledge of the product, the financing involved, and our specific needs was unparalleled. She exuded sincerity and professionalism and had our complete trust within 2 to 3 minutes. She had more concern for us, than the vehicle we were purchasing, or herself. My wife owns a business and was in a hurry to get things completed. Beverly was not only prompt, but efficient. She didn't miss covering anything, answered all of our queries with care, and made us feel we received complete service. On a scale of 1 to infinity there is not a number high enough to rate her performance. She was that good.

The car was spectacular, every one of my questions was answered, and everyone was honest. I've dealt with other local Honda dealers and got the run around, was promised things verbally I knew wouldn't hold up, in one case directly lied to in order to try to get me into the office.. I got none of that with Mungenast. The car was exactly as described, the price I paid was fair and not a dime more than what was advertised, and the experience was a positive one. No issues since purchase with any paperwork, title, or otherwise.

I made a call and spoke with salesman, who gave me contact info and when he would be available. We stopped by and after finding the right Honda Accord that fit our budget we made a deal. I got a letter in the mail that said my driver side airbag deployer was defective on my Honda. I did not buy the car at this or any dealership. Yet the letter told me to call my local Honda dealer for a free replacement. I was reluctant to the word "free". But still I figured it's worth a shot so I called Mungenast and explained the situation to them. They got me in as soon as possible which turned out to be only 3 days! Then while on the phone I doubled checked as to how much this was going to cost me. They told me "Absolutely nothing. Its a recall on Honda's behalf which means this will be completely free of charge and we are so very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you." I was aghast. So I took my car in on the appointment date and checked again as to how much this would cost me but again I was told it would be free of charge. Then the very nice man also asked if I would like for them to run my car through the car wash and I asked how much would that cost me. He said "It wouldn't cost a thing. Completely complementary" so of course I agreed and dropped off my car. They said it would take 3 hours and they would call when it was finished. An hour later I get a phone call telling me my car is ready. I was amazed. When I got the car back it looked very nice and everyone was very courteous and respectful. They even did a diagnostic check and gave me a print out of everything that could use to be fixed and how much it would cost if I got it done there. I am very impressed by Mungenast. If I ever get the finances to buy a brand new car I will be going here to do it.

We did our test drive of a new Civic at St. Louis Honda and they did a great job of going over all of the features of the car before the drive and gave us pointers without being intrusive during the drive. Overall it was a great experience. The initial price they gave us wasn't the most competitive, but after finding a much better price out of state they, as well as other StL area dealers, were quick to match or beat the price. The biggest negative, and the reason I knocked off a star, was the salesman's need to provide negative comments about other area dealers rather than just focusing on the strengths/positives of his dealership. It was really a waste because A) I never experienced any of the negatives he claimed existed and B) compared to other dealerships that focused on their own strengths and benefits, I knew very little about what his dealership offered beyond the price he gave me. In the end, we purchased our new civic from a competitor because they had the best price. We will give StL Honda another try in the future if we purchase a second Honda.

This dealership is okay at best. I had them do the repaint on the front fenders and hood of my 09 Civic SI. The quality was fine at first, paint matched and was blended well, however it may be the thinnest paint job in the world, a few months later I noticed multiple rock chips on the hood. While I do understand road debris can do damage I can't recall anything large enough that should have caused the chips, it seems as if you look at it wrong it will chip.
The service department is fine and I can't complain about their work, service managers are more competent than West County- though the wait times are a little ridiculous.

The new building is very well done. They do offer a lot of complimentary conveniences when you're waiting for your vehicle to be serviced. Such as bottled water, popcorn & snacks. They even have a quiet room you can go in just to read a book or whatever you prefer. Waiting area is very nice. However, if you're having your vehicle serviced prepare to be there for a long while. I always make an appointment for oil changes & I'm still there for at least an 1.5 to 2 hours...just for an oil change. Seems excessive to me. Wish they were able to expedite the single service items like oil changes just to get them in & out quicker.

The wait time was not accurate and I would have not stayed in waiting area, but had my daughter come get me had I known it would take as long as it did. My tech asked if I wanted the free car wash and I said yes, but once the wait went longer than he predicted, he skipped the car wash without checking with me first. He did offer to run it through once I got to my car and saw it was unwashed, but by then I just wanted to get going. Oil change and state inspection were fine.

My truck was due for renewal and was not going to pass inspection, and I was leaving for out of town in just a few days. I was looking for a particular type of vehicle and found what was going to do on the website. They worked very hard to try and get it from the Alton store to the South County store. However, due to some recalls that particular one was not available. They called me right away and I looked on the site again and found another one...that one was already sold. I was getting discouraged that I would find what I was looking for in time. However, Kurt called me back and said he found something he thought I might like and would fit what I needed. I went to check it out and not only did it meet my expectations but it exceeded them. They worked with my credit and got me approved for a loan quickly. I was unable to take the vehical home that day because I needed to get some things together. When I came back the next day Kurt stayed past the end of his shift to make sure all the paperwork would be squared away for me. I took my car there to get it checked for transmission oil leakage (as I was told by AutoTire at Baptist Church Road). I had bought my Honda from Mungenast pre-owned inventory 3 years ago but I never went there for any service as it is far from where I live. But since transmission is a big deal and I was already at AutoTire which is very close to them, I wanted to get a quote from them too. These guys turned out to be extremely nice. I had no appointment but they still took the car in. It turned out to be just a seep in the axle seal and no issues with the transmission. They told me to not worry about it for 10000-12000 miles and even then it will only be a $217 expense when i fix it. They also did free multi-point inspection of the whole car, washed it and gave it to me within an hour. One more thing, the representative was extremely nice and courteous to us. I will definitely go back there for any service needs in the future.

When our first deal fell through, while we were traveling over 100 miles to pick it up, I called Jane and told her the situation. She did not have the color I wanted on the lot, but called around and found it for me. I was able to come home that evening in my new Odyssey. I love this van! Service Advisor Chris Taylor always takes care of me. Reviews what I noticed about the car, advises about any scheduled services needed and cost estimates. This time had a 30K maintenance plus oil change. Chris lets me know how to do the most cost effective maintenance. This time one of their expert technicians Mike Deckard worked on my car. Because of Chris and techs like Mike have been going there for years.

Maybe just luck, but Mungenast made the opportunity happen. the service desk woman was extremely pleasant, accommodating and asked me pertinent details about my service requests , job well done and as I said, I'll be a very returning customer.
PS The waiting area was excellent. Very roomy and I was able to get caught up with my weekend paperwork in the quiet room. It didn't just separate itself into a "less" quiet area, it was hear a pin drop quiet. Mungenast was all about tending to the little details.

I bought a certified used Honda elsewhere but used this dealership for service because it was close to where I lived at the time.
I had some warranty work done on my car. Some of the issues took them more than one try to fix properly, others they never fixed properly. On more than one expensive item, I was told by the service department that my Hondacare warranty would not cover the repairs. Then, when I asked them to hold off on the work because I was going to call Honda corporate to plead my case, the service adviser said (she) could do that on my behalf. In each instance, Honda covered the repairs. But why did their service personnel not attempt to have Honda cover the repairs in the first place? If a repair is be covered by the warranty, I expect that it should be covered without the dealership trying to get me to pay for the work first. This behavior didn't do much to build my trust in them.
In addition to these issues, ever since this dealership got my contact information, I've gotten a rather annoying stream of mail, e-mail, and phone calls regarding surveys, service reminders, and sales pitches. There are certainly worse Honda dealers in the St. Louis area, but this one has some work to do before I'd consider them among the best.

Did not happen, I got a loaner the same day I dropped off my car because they had to keep it for more than 2 hours. Super happy with Honda customer care. I've bought numerous Hondas from car dealers and this was by far the best! I'm in the military and I prefer to buy new cars online. Most of the time, dealers really don't want to deal with military since we move frequently, often just buying one car. However, Gina Bommarito was very eager to help me find the best deal and she put in the extra effort to make sure the deal was seamless! Every aspect of the deal, from the demonstration of car function and features, to the out of state titling was handled with precision!! I'm soon going to retire and even though I will live hundreds of miles away, I plan to buy my future cars from Mungenast.

I texted earlier in the week to see if my salesman from 2 1/2 years ago still worked at Honda on Lindbergh and was surprised to receive a returned text indicating his loyalty and promotion. He recommended another loyal employee when I arrived at the lot, Rob a 19 year veteran. I had previously leased an Accord, but wanted to move up to a CRV or HRV. I drove both and was happy with either; it came down to the bottom line I knew what I was willing to pay and what I wasn't. After weighing my choices, I drove home in a new CRV EX. Rob worked diligently to put me in that vehicle, as salesman often do, but was kind and efficient in doing so.
Even though I knew most of the technology offered on the CRV, I was impressed with the technology expert, Kelli, who reviewed and educated me on the system. That was not offered at the time of my Accord lease and I didn't use half of what that system offered. She was thorough and easy to understand. Mungenast St. Louis Honda has another satisfied customer!

However I have called there service department with online price for trailer hitch install. I have asked if all the items indicated on the web page are included and representative said they will call me back after confirming. 1 hour later I received call confirming that trailer hitch, wiring harness and 2" ball are included in price. I scheduled appointment and dropped the car off. 3 hours later they called me saying that wiring harness is not included and it would be $380 extra to finish the job.
I would not recommend them for accessories installation.

We came shortly before close alot in sales persons had already been going home. I am an out of town and out of state buyer. I had called to inquire about a hard to find vehicle that I had seen on the internet. Rob Carroll said that a contract had been written on the vehicle, but if it fell through, he would call and let me know. Two days later, Rob called and said the deal might fall through and if I still wanted the car, that I could write a contract and be first in line to buy it. The following day, he called and said I would be the proud owner of a 2017 Honda Certified 2017 Honda Coupe, 6 cylinder, 6 speed, manual trans with only 4300 miles.. I flew up from Texas and taxied over to Mangenast St. Louis Honda and inspected the Honda and was so pleased, that Rob and I did the paperwork on the spot. Brandon, Mengenast's Finance specialist helped me through the finance process and within 45 minutes, I was on the road, driving my almost new Honda back to the great state of Texas. Incredible service from start to finish, with two follow ups to make sure that I was pleased with the car. My purchase price for this 2017 Honda was exactly what I paid in 2010, for my first 6 cylinder, 6 speed, manual trans, coupe.

I have been searching for a used Jeep Wrangler for months and finally found "the one" at Mungenast Honda on-line. Was quoted a reduced internet price and after working with the Salesman (Kurt Marty), negotiated an even greater discount based on my status as a military veteran. Although Mungenast doesn't advertise a military discount (all dealers should), they not only honored a competitors military discount, they exceeded it by over $100. Kurt is one of the easiest car salesmen I've ever had the pleasure to work with and would recommend him to anyone interested in a used vehicle. The only problem I encountered preventing me from giving this dealership a five-star rating was the fact that after I told Kurt we were preapproved for a loan through our credit union, the credit manager ("Brandon") stalled for time with no explanation why until our credit union closed at 12:00 pm Noon (it was a Saturday), presumably so the dealership could get a commission from one of their financing sources. Other than this excessive and unnecessary waiting period to process our loan, it was an enjoyable buying experience. One final suggestion - I think it would be good for customer relations if the dealership let the buyer drive off with a FULL tank of gas, regardless of whether buying a new or used vehicle (ours had half a tank and when asked about it, made no inclination to fill the tank regardless of the fact that we had just spent thousands of dollars purchasing a vehicle. Still, I would recommend Kurt and the dealership to anyone looking for a used vehicle.

My Honda Pilot's check engine light came on and started running rough when returning home from a trip on a Sunday. I went to the website on Monday morning to schedule and appointment only to see that their next appointment was on Wednesday. I then called their service department and after explaining my situation they told me that I need to get my car into the shop ASAP. They were not sure when they would be able to get it in but would get it in as soon as they could. I took my car up to their service department that Monday morning at 9AM. I went to one of their service advisers (Gary Opitz) and after talking with him, he told me that they would look at it right away and let me know what the issue is and when they could get it fixed. I was then shuttled back to my job and within an hour Gary called me and told me what was wrong and that they would be able to fix it that day. I was very happy that they were able to fit me in and fix my issue (A bad sensor) within a normal work day. I was highly impressed with the staff and service received.

I had a pretty good experience buying a new 2017 civic here. I just moved to St. Louis, and this is the first time I have needed to own a car (instead of public transport + uber + zipcar). I researched my options online, settled on the model and trim, and then requested quotes from a bunch of dealers in the area (through truecar and edmunds).
This is when I got a first glimpse of professionalism from Mungenast. These guys sent me the quote, and one followup message. I stretched out my correspondence over 2-3 weeks (because I was busy setting up my apt, setting up at my new job, and so on). But at no point did I get any pushy e-mails. And yet, Rebecca (who was my point of contact) would always respond promptly every time I e-mailed them (often after a hiatus). This is in contrast to the other dealers that kept up a constant barrage of emails, text messages, phone calls, promises of special discounts ... even when I showed no interest after receiving the quote.
Their quote was the best to begin with, and stayed that way. But importantly, the quote included the price for everything that wasn't optional (registration, splash guards that couldn't be removed). Their quote was the answer to the question, "if I wanted to buy this car from you and nothing else, how much would I have to pay ?" I can't begin to tell you about the difficulty I had in getting that answer from other dealers (the ones I did follow up with), even after I asked the question explicitly,
Anyway, I reached the dealership with a decent opinion of the place. And everything went pretty quickly and efficientlytest drive, financing, info to send to the insurance company, etc. I also got friendly advice about the car, going to the DMV, etc. even after the sale was completed. And they've told me to e-mail them if I have any questions about the car later (I haven't actually had to, but I got the impression they would be responsive if I did).
Overall, this was a friendly and professional transaction, as all car purchases should be (but as we know, rarely are!). I strongly recommend them.

First of all I have to say that I love this car!!!! It's perfect and has everything I asked for and more, I don't mind extra fun. March 2013 I went to St Louis Honda and inquired about used Acuras and spoke to Jane Gassner. We talked about my options and determined that we would keep our options open and be patient for something to come in. At the beginning or April I got the call, "I have a 2010 TSX on the lot, do you want to come check it out"? That was just the call I wanted receive and come to find out this thing is fully loaded with extremely low miles, even still smells new, tech package with rear camera and the 3.5 v6. I have a small child and this car has a 5 star crash test rating both front and side impact, so that helps with putting my mind at easy for family travel which we do a lot. I took it for one test drive and I knew it was the one. Jane worked with my hectic work schedule, bless her, and we made the deal by the beginning of May and on May 7th I was the very overly excited proud owner of a 2010 TSX. I work for a major cellular provider and every time I learn details of my customer's personal lives regarding vehicles I will be funneling them over to her like clockwork. BTW she is awesome with kids, she held my son like a pro and he likes her too and babies aren't easy to win over. BEST service i have ever had and with me being in sales I'm not easy to impress. Jane is a rock-star in my book through and through. And I can't leave out Jim Dillon, that man works miracles in the finance dept. This would not have been possible without his unending diligence calculating my best rate and made the paperwork process painless. So far, so good. Switched to them after Bommarito refused to call me back. Bommarito claimed I needed my brakes done. These guys asked me if my brakes were being problematic. When I said no they said leave it alone. Bommarito was supposed to rotate my tires, these guys stated they will check, but won't rotate them if unnecessary. The shuttle service was a nice touch too

Josh Ulrich was a superior salesperson and I am happy to tell you why. I had done a lot of research looking for an automobile with a high safety rating, reliable record, economical fuel use, and one having an affordable price, in that order. I read reviews from many sites and printed information about my top 3 picks, eventually selecting the 2013 Honda Accord EX L. It exactly fit my requirements.
I went to Frontenac Honda to test drive the car. The salesperson seemed uninterested, unenthusiastic, and lacking knowledge about its features. I was using a cane to walk due to recovering from an automobile accident. The friend who was with me was recovering from foot surgery and was wearing a soft cast. He did not offer us a seat, any refreshment, and left us standing outside as he went to get the car, only to reappear, too much later, to advise us that he did not presently have one for me to test drive. Dear! Dear! Dear!
Two days later, I went to Mungenast Honda where Josh was my salesperson. He was polite, offering us seats at a table and drinks. He was energetic and excited about the new features in this car and demonstrated how they functioned, even letting me practice. That's what I wanted; a salesperson who would build excitement for the features that already interested me. I didn't know how to operate most of the electronics and Josh was so pleased to teach me, not just on that day but immediately after I had signed the paperwork. Further, he explained all of the booklets belonging to the car as opposed to just handing the container of booklets to me. He urged me to spend time learning how to operate the many features and offered to help, even after the sale. He was so thoughtful to program my cell phone to work with the car's components.
Josh was helpful with pricing. I had been approved for a loan from PenFed and Josh was able to offer the same interest rate as that company. I had been offered car pricing from dealerships that worked with PenFed and Josh met or exceeded those prices. Throughout the process, I would email Josh with questions or information and he was more than prompt at responding, even contacting me on his day off.
I have not described everything that has lead me to assign the word, superior, to Josh's ability as a salesperson but I have recounted enough for you to see that for yourself. In the past, I have purchased several vehicles and this experience with Josh was at the top of my list.
I also would like you to know that Dave Gierse surpassed my expectations when it came to completing the paperwork. This was a process that I dreaded and frankly wanted to work with PenFed to avoid. They just wanted the VIN number and I could do away with the unpleasant task of working with the business person. As it turned out, Dave was lovely. He pleasantly gave me time to read the paperwork and check the math. He kindly explained whatever I asked. He was quite organized which was comforting. What a jewel. You are fortunate to have two such people working for our company.

Thanks to Tracy Peters for listening to our concerns regarding the tire pressure light coming on about every 200 miles. It is an unusual problem and not easily resolved. Hopefully replacing the possibly defective part has solved the problem.
