I did some research and came into the local Sioux Falls location and spoke with Seth. When I decided to make the commitment I called Seth to speak with him and let him know I was coming, He remembered me first off, I had polanned to come in on a Friday and meet with him, but an opportunity opened up and I showed up at 5:45pm (they close at 6pm) and he had no problems with that at all. So here's the thing, I really hate being lied to! When I went to this dealership, I was told that I only qualified for ONE vehicle on the ENTIRE lot. After purchasing said vehicle, I noticed something wrong with it the very next day. Took it to a mechanic who told me it needed a new motor. Took the vehicle back to the dealership because they have a "seven day money back guarantee". I was then offered to choose between four other vehicles that were "the same price"... Wait, but "I only qualify for the one" right???? WRONG!!!!! Had I been offered one of those other four vehicles from the very beginning, I would still have a vehicle from this place today. I gave 3 stars because of their money back guarantee and the fact that they help with rebuilding your credit by positive reporting. I'm not saying it's a horrible place, this was just my experience...

My daughter purchased her very first vehicle from here. They don't have a big selection, but they did make an effort to get her into a driver and although the price was exaggerated by a few extra 1000s when u don't have credit options are limited! For someone wanting or needing a car and has few options early on. I can say that she found a decent running vehicle and the 18 month or 18,000 mile warranty makes it a bit easier to swallow when buying a used car. I wanted her to try to do it on her own and even though I don't agree with the high mark up she did it and she is proud. She has a little security with the warranty and her payment are low enough to make it possible. With a down payment of just under 1000$ she walked out with a payment of 160$ a month and a car with 118,000 miles so I'm okay with it for now. I have nothing that I can see that makes me dislike this place besides the markup but again it will help her in the end. They report her payment monthly to each credit bureau and her next purchase will be much better I do believe!

I walked in not hoping that I would even get a car that day but just saying well nothing to lose. I went in and said I will need a good running car that I don't have to worry breaking down. Got everything threw and I got a car with no money down. And they worked with me on the payments. They come right out of my check so I don't even have to worry at all. Value: 2 -You will pay 2-5x what the vehicle is actually worth. You will have outrageously high monthly payments using a bi-weekly/weekly schedule. Quality of Inventory: 3 -Most of their inventory are not in tip-top shape. You will find issues (major or minor) with almost any vehicle you test drive. Time: 3 -It takes a lot of time to complete paperwork and listen to the employee's "Carhop Presentation". This is not a fast process. Benefits: 4 -There are many benefits which outweigh some of the negative aspects of buying from Carhop. There is an 18 month/18k mile warranty. You do not have to purchase full-coverage insurance. Tax and title are handled for you. Often times there can be a $0 down payment. Pretty much everyone is approved. Overall Grade: 3 Stars -The only reason that you should consider Carhop is if you do not have money for a down payment, have terrible credit (or no established credit), and don't mind driving something with minor issues. If these three things do not apply to you, look elsewhere. If they do, Carhop is a good choice.

If it wasn't for the Lord Jesus Christ, and the favor from God, I wouldn't be able to walk away a happy customer. I had the pleasure of working with friendly employees, who really fight for you in obtaining a vehicle. My previous car was giving me so many problems and broke down on me the very same day, I purchased a vehicle from carhop. To the point it wasn't fixable so I had to catch the bus half way, and had to walk a mile in a half in the rest of the way, in the heat to get to carhop. I filled out and application online that morning, and the rest is history. If your worried about bad credit or no credit don't, carhop will work with you, if your worried about big down payment well don't, they will work with you. My down payment wasn't nothing compared to the down payment of faith in God I had, that's all you need. Great experience with carhop may God get the glory!!!!

I bought a 2005 Chrysler 300 been a very good car. Got hailed on and was a total loss and my insurance paid most of it off. What I can say is if you do buy a car here get gap insurance so it will cover the remainder of the loan because of the deal they have is to rebuild your credit the car is way more then book value. The part that makes me angry is I bought the car is 2016 make my payments on time with autopay and haven't missed a payment. With the insurance payment I am over half paid off and going to finish the loan a year ahead. With that being said they wouldn't extend my loan back out and lower the payments. That part burns a bit so this will be the only car I purchase with car hop.
