Dan helped me with getting the mini cooper SE sooner than I expected. It's not exactly what I ordered but these days, you are lucky to have an EV with less than a month of waiting. All accessories such as level 1 and 2 charging cables, floor mats included as they should be without asking. Transaction was quick as well and no unreasonable level of pushing to buy extra warranty or packages. I feel like they treated customers with respect. Thank you, Dan.

Our Mini needed some significant repairs (timing chain, decarb, throttle body assembly, brake fluid, service) and he worked her into a tight schedule and got everything completed prior to my requested date. From the moment I dropped off my Countryman for a checkup because a warning light came on, through the video of the status of the system, checking the warranty coverage, then the repairs; Darrell kept me "in the loop" and I felt I had choices along the way. I was supplied with a loaner for the entire time it took to make the repairs and now my 2015 is running like it's new. The experience has been as stress free as it could be and I am reminded why I always rely on Mini to make sure my car is running as it should.

After some back and forth negotiating, I was able to purchase a 2021 MINI Cooper S Clubman ALL4 at a very fair price. John was never pushy and never tried to "talk me into anything". In fact, he was completely patient with my requests to drive several models, review options and even do my own research on pricing right there in the showroom. I highly recommend Seattle MINI at Tacoma and if you have the chance to work with John, take it!

Excellent service. My technician Adam fixed up my baby quickly and sent me a detailed video about the work he did on it. He also charged my electric S before I picked it up - seems like a minor thing but I haven't always gotten the same courtesy at the other MINI dealership and it's VERY MUCH appreciated. My advisor Dani was super helpful and answered all my questions, including follow-up ones I had after the service was done. Benji from the Sales department and the Shop foreman were able to research and answer my questions, which Dani promptly relayed to me.

I took my car to Seattle Mini for a dead battery problem(11/02/2022). They did a complimentary health check. My car had more problems than just a dead battery because I didn't drive it since the beginning of pandemic. Danielle and her team (especially Mia) were excellent. They explained all the problems, necessary fixes and answered all of my questions. They didn't rush me for a decision since it was a big bill. They even helped me to prioritize suggested fixes. I ended up getting all the fixes because of Danielle's and Mia's service/communication made me feel I am in good hands. My car was ready in 3days.

I really appreciate the professional and friendly customer service and communication of Seattle Mini's team. From sales to our first service appointment (a recall for a common software issue affecting the backup camera's guidelines), we were happy with Noel and the service he and the service technician provided. I was particularly pleased when the service technician texted me a short narrated video he shot showing the backup camera finally displaying the formerly missing guidelines and additional information about the overall inspection he did on our vehicle. Went in to federal way mini expecting to spend about 200 bucks for service. Darrell scanned my key and said he had good news previous owner had purchased a maintenance plan that was still good tell 2023. Service didn't cost anything, so many other dealerships would of voided the warranty upon sell of the vehicle. They spoke highly of there integrity to me. They will have all my business going into the future

The Tacoma Mini service center went above and beyond what I asked for. In addition to diagnosing my check engine light and making the necessary repair, they did a detailed inspection, sent an inspection video (first time I’ve ever seen this done) detailing tire life, brake life, etc, and also washed and vacuumed my Mini, returning it to me nicer that I brought it in! So pleased!!!

We've taken our Mini in for service a few times now and they've earned our trust. Friendly service advisors, outstanding techs/mechanics. Pricing for all service is very competitive and fair. We haven't experienced any gouging or unnecessary charges. Only complaint was a 3% swipe fee for using a credit card. Not a deal breaker but not customer friendly IMHO.

I was extremely pleased with all services provided at Seattle MINI. Since ordering my 2023 Mini Resolute back in July I’ve had good communication with Chuvit, the salesmen, who kept me updated of my car’s progress. From assembly to shipping, Chuvit kept me within the communication loop including providing even shipping details as the car left Southampton, England and traveled the oceans to its delivery point.
He was extremely thorough describing all the car’s features plus assuring me I could contact him anytime in the future if questions arose.
Overall, my experience with Seattle MINI has been most pleasurable. I’d recommend them highly to anyone interested in purchasing a fine vehicle.

He kindly squeezed me in when my car was urgently needed the emergency services without letting me deal with any hassle. I needed several things fixed on my car and the guy who checked me had no customer service skills, he was rude, uninterested and painful. He took that mini experience I drive a hour plus for and made into just another non interested dealership. Not once did I receive a call. I was told my car would be done last Thursday and it’s now Tuesday. I’m giving 3 stars ⭐️ because the lady that gave me the loaner was a 5⭐️ Service and b/c we loved the video inspection. That’s the level of customer service I use to get at mini. I have not picked up my car b/c they gave me short notice when I was told I would be given sufficient time {be it I live so far away}. Oh and the guy that checked me in is no longer with mini so they have no idea what coupons he approved .. guess I will see what happens when I go in this morning.

Despite being booked up for over a week, the folks at the service center were able to investigate the problem, repair it, and get it back to me in the same day! They absolutely saved me from being stranded 600mi from home; really happy with the overall service. :)

Great service! They found and fixed problem with the heater, and Ethan did a multipoint inspection. Jared, the service manager, was super helpful arranging everything. Noel is a great. He is pleasant and friendly. However, I gave 3 stars to this review because, I was told that my tires needed to be rotated so they took care of that and so I paid them. Then, I get my car back and that afternoon realize that they did not rotate my tires. I know this as fact because as a new mini owner I scraped my front passenger wheel on the curb when I first got it…sooo there is an ugly mark that will bother me until I replace the wheel. Imagine my surprise when I walk around my car and see scratch marks in the front passenger wheel. At first site I was upset that now both wheels were scratched. Then I look to the back and guess what…NOT scratched. Hmmmm….so they never rotated the tires, just said they did and then let me pay them! I called the dealership and spoke to Noel. He apologized and said I can bring it back and they will rotate the tires. He says it takes bout 20 minutes and I won’t need to make an appointment. But the drive for me can take anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour depending on traffic and now I have to drive back down there for a 20 minute job that should have already been taken care of. To top it all off they had my car all weekend! This is the first disappointment for me with this dealership, and it’s a bitter one! I can only hope that it is the last!!

The parts department has always been a pleasure to work with. They’ve been great while helping me find the right part. And they take the time to help me feel like a valued customer. Since I do some of my own repairs, I like that!
The only concern I’ve had is that it can take a long time for the service department to start working on my cars. Previously, I’ve had the car sit for 2 or 3 days at the shop before they got to it, even though I had made appointments.
This time was different and better! Ryan underpromised and over delivered. The car had an interesting electrical issue and I told them it wasn’t a rush. But I was super pleased when they got to it the very next morning rather than the next week as expected. It took about as long as promised to diagnose and fix the issue. And the detailed videos and explanations by Robert, the technician, left me feeling confident that the entire problem was resolved. I really appreciated the thorough explanation showing what how the issue was diagnosed.

I worked with Chuvit to buy a new mini at the end of last year. I first contacted Seattle MINI from their website. Chuvit quickly responded to my initial inquiry, and I started conversation with him.
During my visit, he explained many options I could have, and finally helped me ordering my vehicle. Initially, he mentioned the estimated delivery time is 5-7 months (if we order from the scratch), but he was able to find a way to get it quicker. Luckily, I was able to modify one of existing orders, and I was able to get my vehicle in 3 months with the exact configuration I wanted.
During all the process, Chuvit always followed up very diligently, (he shared any status changes including production started, shipment is ready, it shipped, etc) and I really appreciate his diligence.
The only thing I didn't like much is that MINI is charging ~$2K for some additional services that I have to buy with the vehicle purchase. I have no choice to reject it, but at least they do not have markups. However, I'm aware that this is Seattle MINI's current policy and Chuvit also has no control on it.
Overall, I'm really happy with my experience at Seattle MINI, and it was pleasure working with Chuvit. They were kind and gentle all the time, and all the transaction was very smooth. Happy to work with them again in the future. Thank you!

I bought my 2015 Cooper S here and have brought it here for service since. My Mini was a fair bit overdue for service (what with the pandemic and all it has been about 3.5 years and 3k miles since service) and I got hit with a check engine light. I brought it in and worked with Anthony Jensen who was great.
In addition to the check engine light being related to needing a new radiator, which was fully covered by my extended warranty, they found about $6k worth of other things that should be fixed and got them ALL covered under the extended warranty.

The people here are awesome, Darrell has helped me every time and he’s a great guy. The prices are astronomical though, nearly $900 for brake pads is crazy and very discouraging to get the work done. I walked away without getting any work done, but the previous trip was a very large bill which got bigger out of nowhere. I had water coming into underneath the floor of my car so they quoted me a ton of stuff to fix it and had my car for over a week drying everything out. I could only afford about half of what they wanted to do with the car as it was, but right after i was called and told my car was good and would be ready for pickup the next day, i got another inspection video showing that the fuse box was dead and my car was completely dead when they went to put everything back together. I’m not sure why knowing there was a water issue in that area that the fuse box was checked earlier in the inspections, but another fuse panel added another huge chunk of the bill that was completely blindsiding.

My experience with Darrell at the Fife/Tacoma location was good. He explains everything well so I was able to understand the maintenance of my MINI. He is honest and doesn't try to advise things that are not needed to be worked on. He had a nice loaner car for me to borrow as mine was being worked on. I felt satisfied that my car was well cared for and know if anything were to happen I have confidence in their department. I have a new 2022 Mini Cooper SE since last October. I drive it a lot with no issues.
I had to schedule my 12000 mile warranty service a month ahead. So I had 13,400 miles when the inspection was done. The message was they couldn’t hire anyone to wash or clean car interior. And they couldn’t find any techs. My Mini is electric so I wasn’t sure what they were going to do, but I expected free tire rotation. But I was wrong.
I got a 2.5 minute video of the underside of the car with mm tread wear and brake wear plus no shock leaks, no motor mount cracks and told to come back fall of 2023 for cabin filter replacement.

Great experience at Northwest Mini in Tacoma. Quick service, no preasure, and I think the cost of my repair was pretty reasonable. Darrell, my service advisor was awesome. Nice feature is they send you a video of the car inspection. This way you can visually see what they're talking about when you see your itemized service recommendations.

Have been bringing my 2013 Mini GP JCW in since I purchased in 2016. I enjoy the friendly service and quality workmanship of this location near Tacoma. They have provided me loaners in the past and have been straight up regarding any work I am having done. I enjoy the car wash and vacuum after any service which is a nice touch that beats being given a brown bear voucher as I have experienced at other dealerships. Also being on first name basis when I come in adds to the great experience. Highly recommend if you need service on your Mini. Schedule ahead of time though because it may take 3 or 4 weeks to get an open spot.......they get busy

They were able to get me in quickly for a detail after someone got sick in my car, and it looked spotless when I got it back! There were only two things that I noticed that kept my review from 5 stars. I got my car back on a Saturday and it smelled strongly of chemicals/cleaner. Even now, on the Tuesday after, it smells like that. I just wish I had a heads up about the smell. Also, when coming to pick up, it seemed like there was a lack of communication between staff as the people checking me out didn’t know I was coming or where my paperwork was. They did find everything eventually and I was too happy to get my car back to really be bothered. Otherwise, the service was great and everyone was really nice!

As a owner of classic mini, I always dreamed of getting into one of new generation Minis. I was fortunate to partner with Devin, MA, on ordering Mini SE. Devin is one of the best auto sales I've worked with. He kept me up to date on our order as it took 4 months to get a car and answered all my questions while waiting for the Mini to arrive. I am pretty sure I was not the easiest customer to work with as I had pretty high expectation. However, Devin was extremely patient with me and supported my buying process. Devin and Seattle Mini were flexible to sign all documents online and arranged home delivery to my home instead of doing in person. Even though I wasn't initially happy with paying for a small dealer prep fee, after receiving wonderful customer service from Devin and his team, now I don't regret paying the fee. The detailing of the car was just great. The interior looks brand new. I’m very please with the quality of the work.
But once again, I wish they were closer. Even though they provided me with a loaner car, it was a lot of driving over two days to get this work done.
Seattle MINI was fine. They made good on the discount and offered to finish the detailing at a later time with a discount because they couldn’t get to it.
There was one issue that I brought to their attention when I dropped the car off that was not resolved. There was the number 1 visible on the main page of the display that they weren’t sure about.
The consensus was that it would reset when they reset the monitors, but it didn’t. I don’t think it impairs the operation of the car, I just want to know what it is.
Seattle MINI is fine. I wish they were closer, but I was aware of that issue when I bought the car. I’m still delighted with the car and pleased with the service.

Driving up from California, our check engine light went on (car still under warranty and under maintenance plan). We called Northwest Mini and explained our situation, we wanted to make sure we could safely drive back to California a few days later. They told us to bring the car and they would try to take a look between appointments. A couple of hours later, the car was all taken care of, ready to drive! Filters changed and some engine recalibration, as well as quick inspection of tires and brakes. Great service and we really appreciate they helped us get back on the road with peace of mind.

Pretty disappointed here I have been ghosted for the last 3 days when inquiring about the status of my vehicle. I never got a call back after multiple calls and voice messages. This only after i was told my expected completion was two days earlier. I finally received a txt message that my car was ready at 5:50pm and they close at 6. I still haven't received a call back.
Follow up when I went to pickup the car Jason my service advisor mad things right. Repair was still expensive but he was very compassionate to my situation.

Today, after getting my car serviced, I was pleasantly surprised to learn they even include a video from the technician going over all the services they performed. I would happily give them a 5 star but, back in Hawaii, the MINI dealership always returned my vehicle with a wash and vacuum which I always appreciated. So consider this a 4.5 star review 😊

The lady that handled scheduling said they wouldn’t work on my car if I dropped it off. She said I have to come in and stay there while it was worked on. I had to take time off of work for my car to be serviced. When I dropped it off, they told me to go hang out at the Starbucks. So, I *could* just drop it off and leave, contrary to what the scheduling lady said… Also, The Starbucks had their restaurant closed due to all the homeless in the area. So I’m stuck hanging out in a shady area waiting for my car. Also, I’m 8 months pregnant and I don’t feel safe. Anyway, work was done on my car.

I loved the service I received when I went in. I met with Anthony, who was busy at the time, but I like that he did acknowledge I was there and apologizetic about it, a customer service trait seldom seen nowadays. Anthony kept in the loop about everything that was happening so there wasn't any surprise in the cost. They gave me a time frame of when my car would be done and stuck to. And to top it all off he gave me a discount on my service in honor of my birthday unprompted and un asked for.
With service like this my next mini will be bought and serviced here, hands down not going anywhere else. Keep up the great work guys!

Seattle Mini offered me a loaner car for when I brought in my Mini fur service. When I went in, I met the most terrific service advisor - AMANDA - who was very friendly and helpful. I said I could wait around and wouldn’t need a loaner car if the service work was going to be done in the morning. Amanda told me she would get my car in early. I waited a couple of hours in the lounge and the work was finished. I was surprised by all the items the mechanics checked in addition to changing the oil. I was charged nothing because of the good warranty. But Amanda is the reason I’m writing this review. She was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The best.

Our Service Adviser Amanda was extremely attentive and communicative. The Technician Uriah provided topnotch service and everything was done in a single day. One of the coolest and helpful parts of the visit is that they send you a video walkthrough of your inspection so that you can see what they see. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Although my car was only in for new spark plugs and an oil change he made sure I was in a loaner car the duration of the maintenance. I have a wonderful little mini that I adore, but he hit the 90k mark. Originally I took him to the local "European expert" mechanic close to work. And woooh boy did they mess him up.
It was so bad that despite what people said, I took him to the dealership. From the moment I walked in, people were almost out of their way nice. They got my car set to come back and get everything done.
And I mean everything. I had oil coming from places I did not know oil could come from, I had a sensor broken that made him wig out when I would take a right turn, a broken strut. I think the only thing not broken was the cup holder (and that's because it was gone, and no longer made). Well, Seattle Mini knew my budget, didn't go a penny over, went beyond what was possible.
They set me up with a loaner for almost three weeks, kept in constant contact so I knew exactly what was going on which put my mind at ease, all while fixing what this other shop did and still bringing him solid for another 100,000 miles.
Kudos to you, Seattle Mini. I'll see you in 15,000 for fresh oil.

After a particularly bad rainstorm, our Paceman started exhibiting some electrical anomalies, there was water on the floor and then the engine just shut off and wouldn’t restart.
We had it towed to Seattle Mini who wasn’t expecting the car. Brandon was able to fit our car into the schedule for an immediate diagnostic. I received an A/V presentation of a full review of our car. It was so reassuring to hear this technician go over various areas needing attention. The attention to detail was impressive.
Turned out to be a torn vapor barrier which caused the water accumulation while also frying the PCM. Brandon got our parts ordered and during that time went above and beyond to get our car dried out. He even took care of a couple of other items at no cost to me!

I purchased a 2019 countryman about a month ago, after having it a few days the stock battery went bad. It went bad on a Sunday so when I called on Monday to get it replaced under warranty they squeezed me in on Friday. Going a week without the vehicle was fun. While it was in getting the battery changed I had them look at some items to see if they would be covered by warranty. They said they would but they needed to order some parts.
Having just purchased the vehicle, I wanted to have them do an inspection on it to make sure everything was okay. I had made a first available appointment for 2 weeks later before the battery had gone bad. I asked if they could replace the parts when I brought it in for that inspection since they had to order them.
I sent my wife with the vehicle for the inspection, and they said that they had never seen the vehicle before and they still needed to order parts. But when I was in there for the battery they said the parts would be there the following Tuesday. (I have the paperwork). So now I'm going to have to make another appointment, which will probably take weeks to get, and return the vehicle again to get the warranty items fixed.
The service representative was nice enough and easy to deal with, but it sounded like my wife talked to the same one that I had talked to. Not sure where the mix-up was.
As for the inspection, they send you a video in a text of the inspection as they walk under the vehicle. In the video the service technician states that all the tires have 6 mm of tread depth. I know that one of them has more tread because it was replaced after a blowout. It's not a big deal because it's within spec for an all-wheel drive, but it tells me that they didn't really check. I verified it with my own depth gauge just to make sure.
As far as communication, they send text to you but if you reply to the text, responses are spotty. I sent them a text outlining what needed to be done so that my wife wouldn't have to when she got there and never got a response.

I was disappointed that Mini no longer washes the car as part of the service appointment. Also the software reprogramming that needed to be run reset some defaults for my car. They had me bring my car back in only to find out that it was just a setting I could have adjusted with some minor instructions. While the dealership called to cancel my appointment for oil change and installation of a new battery when I phoned the Service department in Tacoma, the Seattle Service department did not answer the phone, they kindly arranged for me to have my battery changed. As my old battery was showing failure in the cold weather, I am VERY grateful that Seattle MINI flexed ther=ir team and replaced my batter despite few people being able to work. MOST GRATEFUL

Seattle Mini in Tacoma is one of the best place to go if you want a Mini. The service is amaizing. Everyone is friendly and nice all the time. My cat had service to replace the brakes and with their complimentary full inspection, they found out another problem that has been resolve thanks to the warranty. They explain everything the way you can understand what they will be doing. I recomend them for a new car or a pre-own, and for all the services for your Mini. Cheers to Darrell!!!

Aaron Johnson and Seattle Mini are the best! Although my tab was 4 grand they did a superb job of giving my 2006 Mini Cooper S convertible new life. Loved getting the video of my mechanic explaining what needed to be accomplished; made giving the go-ahead a no brainer. The 2021 loaner for 5 days much appreciated. I am so thankful that I found the Mini Countryman of my dreams at Seattle Mini! The process to secure the car over the phone with the salesman Chuvit was easy and he answered all the questions I had. My car was still coming from overseas so Chuvit kept me updated so I would know when it was ready for pickup in Seattle.
