From start to finish everything was up front, quick and fair. (*As quick as you can be buying/financing a car & trading in your old one). Both Dan and Patric were friendly, helpful and professional. I went there to buy the discovery, but they have lots of great cars, so I ended up getting the Jaguar F-Pace. Paperwork was done in 30minutes, that's how fast Mr. Patrick works. After that we had a lunch and we met a friend at Bellevue square, she saw our car so i encourage her to buy the discovery. We rushed to the definitive motors and she bought the Discovery.. Had such an amazing experience tonight - I had chosen a car that I had been looking for and went to go check it out! Was still on the fence of letting go my Range Rover but really wanted something new and easier for my large Blood Hound to get in and out. I wouldn’t classify this as a normal dealership as no one was pushy, was about what I wanted, gave me time by myself right away. Paperwork was done sitting there chatting and went through it like a breeze. I encourage anyone looking for top quality cars in a low pressure environment to check this place out. I've been looking for a BMW 535d with Xdrive for almost 2 years. I saw that Definitive Motors had one available! Dru helped set up the test drive. He had the car waiting for me when I got there. It matched the exact description of what was posted online. As far as buying the car, Dru made the whole process very easy. Showed me a breakdown of every fee. Where do I even start? Moments after I sent a request for more information on the car I had been researching on a 3rd party website, I got an email with information on the car from Patric. I responded with some info about my situation, what I was looking to spend and features that were important to me. It was a Friday evening and I HATE talking on the phone. He emailed back and forth with me within minutes every time I asked anything. He assured me that he would Made an appointment and continued my search. Went to a few bigger named dealerships Saturday morning looking at the same car and was unimpressed with the condition and sales rep interactions. Showed up to my appointment with Patric and didn't even make it to the front door. This man had the car out front, backed in and walked out to me holding the keys. Gave him the information he needed to be able to test drive and hopped in the car amd took off. Once I returned, I was convinced this was the car for me and was ready to move forward. Went in to the office and gave my information. I hate sitting and waiting so I decided to go have lunch while he did his thing. Later got a text asking me to return so we could go over the details. I was a little nervous and didn't want to return unless I was sure they would work for me. I asked what they were and he gave me his estimate which was better than any other dealership online and in person. I went back. Signed some papers, set my insurance up and was out within 2 hours with a great deal a few dollars lower than the quote he gave me even over text. I am beyond impressed with this dealerships efficiency. Patric made everything happen quick fast and easy. I am OBSESSED with my vehicle too. I have never had a better experience than I did with this purchase. I learned with dealerships, bigger isn't better. If I could give 10 stars I would. I read reviews but rarely write them. This place exceeded my expectations and Patric will take care of you, be transparent and genuinely seems like he loves helping people rest easy while he works to make them get the perfect vehicle for their situation. I am so grateful I came across this place!

They were so gracious and stayed late to help us get it done. We had driven from about 90 minutes out so it was so appreciated. Absolutely the easiest purchase I have ever made. I found the vehicle online, spoke with Dan, arranged financing, and flew from Cali to Seattle with my wife and kids to buy the car. Obviously we were nervous about the deal as we had never bought an out of state vehicle (couldn't find one closer in this condition/ miles etc). When we arrived at the dealership the Lexus was as advertised. Both Dan ( our salesman) and Patric in financing were straight forward, upfront, and as easy going as you could possibly hope for. I doubt we will ever have a need to fly to Seattle from northern California for an auto purchase again but I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. These guys are awesome. We were down the road with a beautiful one owner Lexus Lx 570 in less than 45 minutes total. An Absolutely unbelievable experience top to bottom. Great experience with Patric! I've done test drives there in the past and while I didn't buy those cars, I never felt pressured to buy either. I went in to buy a 2016 Porsche Macan S and didn't connect with that interior color (espresso leather with gray seat belts). Luckily there was a white ext with black int that was in perfect condition. After test driving we knocked out the paper work and got fair financing (even with the inflating interest rates). This is the type of place you want to buy a used car. Quality merchandise and they don't need to be pushy. The prices are fair so there's none of the awkward negotiating. I enjoyed my used car shopping experience at definitive about as well as I could. The staff were great. I liked that they don’t negotiate, just low prices from the start. Just be aware that they are going add around 1k for things like window replacement and stolen car tracking.

I did my research online. I knew the car I wanted and the fair price. I found my vehicle here via Craigslist. I did some quick email q&a with Fred and got the car I wanted. The buying process was super simple. Patric was great in finance. The car was fairly priced so I didn't need to negotiate. The car was clean and problem free and I'm a satisfied customer. I'd recommend and say the online positive reviews helped me feel confident and matches my experience. I would rate 5 but there were two things that came up that kept it from being perfect and I'll say I have high standards to give a 5. 1. The car was only half a tank when I bought it. I would have liked it to be full, especially when paying cash for a car. 2. There was a clog in the AC drain that caused some water to overflow in the passenger side (this is common on my type of vehicle I guess) I had to fix upon arriving home. This really wasn't something I can blame them for on a used car, but it was a hassle to dry out the car and I guess the inspection missed it. Overall, I cleared the clog, dried the carpet and I'm happy. Overall, very good used car experience. Fair price. Nice guys who were sleazy.

The word “fair” is not often associated with car dealerships, but it is for Definitive Motors. I was able to work with Patric on the purchase of my new-to-me 2016 BMW M3, and I truly believe he did what he could to get me the best price on both my trade in and the sale of the M3. We traded a lot of text messages and phone calls to work out the final deal. They are very firm on their “set pricing”, but we worked out some extras that made the deal work. The staff who I have interacted with have been helpful and pleasant. I love my new M3!

The best car dealership experience I've ever had! Super small and cozy place, only a couple of tables, but an impressive array of luxury cars outside. The staff was incredibly friendly, especially Dan and Patric! Extremely friendly people, absolutely the most honest salesmen I've ever experienced. If you are in the market for a used, luxury vehicle, you should strongly consider looking at Definitive Motors. I normally would not take the time to write a review, but given most of these vehicles are higher end and in great condition, this is worth the effort. Worked with Patrick Quit, traded in my vehicle and received a higher trade in offer than a larger dealership quoted. Service was top notch and the entire process took one our out of my day. Amazing experience buying an Audi Q5. Dan and Fred were incredibly helpful. Dan helped me get all the info I need on the car. I pointed few issues with car and dan got fixed them for me. I was on a 3 month search for a clean, low mileage Lexus LS460L with very specific options and color scheme. I was searching the entire US and happened to find one right in my backyard at Definative Motors for a very good price. I came to look at it and Dan was super easy going and helpful in answering my questions. During the test drive I noticed the brake rotors were a bit warped so the braking was not as smooth as it could be. I told Dan about it and he put it in writing that they would replace the rotors as part of the deal. I bought it the next day and brought it in a couple weeks later and they replaced the rotors (as well as a free full synthetic oil change) as we agreed. The brakes are smooth as can be, the car feels and smells like new, and I couldn't be happier with the service provided by Definitive.

This is My second review for this place again a stand up dealership. I needed my plates asap and Dan (who was not even my salesman, sin e he was off that day), offered to stay late 20 minutes after close to help me grab those plates from him. Now we all know we want to go home 5 minutes before closing and he offered to stay late. So I really appreciated that. I also needed my rotors resurfaced, I'm assuming they did it before I purchased the car since the car is not shaking like it was before. So that was kool. I did have to replace my battery a few days after, but they've been awesome so I just chalked that up with buying a used car. It is what is though. Any chance I get I tell people about this dealership and I would buy a car from them over and over again 10 x's over. Thank You Patrick & Dan ... great dealership. Cars are nice and clean. You are doing yourself a dis-service if you don't at least look at thier inventory. Tell'em Don sent you 😉

The moment we walked in...we had to wait. Only because they were so busy! There's a reason why people come in flocks to this place. The price is great and the people are awesome. One of the easiest and fastest vehicle trade-in and purchase transactions I have ever experienced. We discovered a week later that we had overlooked the fact that one of the back seat headrests was missing. We called our sales rep (Dru) and immediately he told us he'd get us a new one asap, no haggling or argument. We had a matching new headrest shipped to us within a week, no additional charges, all after only one phone call. It was such a great experience and their inventory is top-notch, I'd go back whenever I'm ready for another vehicle.

I was shopping for a Highlander. I had checked out a couple other dealers. The Highlander base plus, I was considering buying from a dealer in Tacoma was nice but didn't have much in the way of bells and whistles and the interior was cloth. When I test drove it on the freeway, my friend and I noticed it making some funny humming noise from the wheels area somewhere. When we got back to the Dodge dealer I let the used car sales guy know and he's like, oh they didn't know about, which I really didn't believe. He said they'd have their mechanics look at it and get back to me. Then couple hours later I got a text message from their sales department (I don't think they meant to send it to me) saying... "We have good news, the Highlander you were interested has dropped $500). Pretty shifty!! Needless to say I didn't go back to them! I continued my search and discovered a really nice Highlander at Definitive Motors in Bellevue. When I arrived at the dealership the staff was very courteous and helpful. All the way down to the guys cleaning the cars. They even gave me tips on how to get foggy headlights clean and what you need to do to make them crystal clear. My friend and I took a 2012 Highlander Limited for a test drive. We were totally impressed!!! The car was like brand new, it even smelled brand new! It had now vacation, leather interior heated exterior mirrors butt warmers... etc!!! 😊 When we got back they were like; how do you like it? I was like I WANT It! They were like great and we started working on the paperwork, which was very fast and easy. Also while we are doing the paperwork, they had the car washed and vacuumed out for me!! Very nice!! Made me feel like they really like their customers! I've had my Highlander for a couple months now and it is perfect! It's all leather and really nice and fully loaded. And to top all that off, they we're asking less for it than the dealership that was trying to pass off a damaged one or whatever was wrong with it. My friends say I got a really good deal and ask me where I got it. My cousin is looking into getting a new car, he said he'll be checking these guys out for sure. I would HIGHLY recommend Definitive Motors! They are a fine upstanding legit no BS automotive dealer. I'm confident they will get you the car you will really love! Details: I bought a car from Definitive Motors last month and I wanted to share my experience. First off, I am young and this is the first car I bought for myself. Second, the entire transaction took about 47 hours from test drive request to purchase. It all started when I found the car I was interested in on a Thursday night scrolling CarGurus. I messaged them through their website at 8pm asking for a test drive Friday afternoon, they responded within minutes confirming the time I asked for. I arrived the next day to take a look at the car. They let me look around the car, start it up and then I ask for the test drive. Back from the test drive, I sit down with Dan (sales rep) to talk through the car. I had taken a very good look at the car an noted all of its flaws that I could use to negotiate the price. I listed all of them and talked through my concerns with Dan. Then I gave him a -30% list price Low Ball offer. He didn’t bat an eye. To my surprise he instead asked me to email my list to him so that his manager could get the car “fixed” or at least try to repair a few of the scratches and dents I had found. I agree and then leave. The next day I’m snowboarding all day and I receive multiple updates on the cars status and what their team is doing to meet my needs. Then I get to their location at 4pm, re inspect the car talk through the fixes and sit down to make the deal. Though I wasn’t able to get them to move on the price, their list price was already very low 3K below KBB. They also didn’t give me an insane APR either so I was throughly impressed and pleased with my purchase. Personally I would go and buy another car from Definitive and would recommend everyone to check them out if you are looking for a barely used car.

The selection of pre-owned luxury SUVs was quite good and the vehicles were in great condition. Compared to other dealers, the prices seemed to be fair, although they were non-negotiable. The price they had posted was more than fair compared to KBB and other sources so I didn't mind skipping all the haggling. On my latest car (purchased on a Sunday) we did all the paperwork for 4% financing. They said they were waiting on one more bank that the believed I could get 2.9% from since my credit was good. We filled out all the paperwork for the 4% on Sunday but then I received a call on Monday morning asking if I'd come back in to redo the paperwork since the credit union came back with the lower interest rate they thought I could get. Now THAT is service! I would totally purchase my next car from them and would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends.

So no salesman in the car telling us all about the car that we don't need to hear. Second, the process of negotiation was seamless. They gave us more than a fair trade value for our Suburban, actually $1,750 more than the no haggle Car Max dealership. My parents were in the market for a Lexus RX 350, we looked around a few places, my general impression of the places we went were: sale men are arrogant, condition of the cars sucked, a lot of scratches and some even had damages to the rims, and at one of the dealership 2 sale ladies were shamelessly fighting over us made our experience so awkward. We ended up sitting in the office for a few hours waiting for bits and pieces of the financing to get figured out. I purchased a 2014 Infiniti at Definitive about a year and a half ago. I purchased an extended warranty at the point of sale. When an issue arose that should be covered in the warranty, I was told that it had expired. I was under the impression that it would be valid for much longer. I called and spoke with the dealer that had sold me the car and warranty, he admitted that he had not been there long and was unfamiliar with that warranty companies paperwork. There was a box that didn't get checked, nullifying the warranty. When the dealer realized his mistake, he totally owned it! Bought a 2003 BMW Z4 from Steve. It only had 58,000 original miles and was beautiful (still is). The only issue was an LED display in the dash that was pixilating. I read the earlier reviews and did my due diligence on Definitive Motors and on this make, model, and year of car. When it came time to make the offer, I asked that they have the display in the dash repaired or replaced and we did a small amount of bickering over the price. Steve was able to budge a bit but do not go in there expecting to low-ball them or get into a large price negotiation. If you do, you haven't done your homework and are not being realistic. If I could I would give Patric and the dealership a star or metric rating above from what we are capable of doing so. The service I received from Patric was phenomenal. Before I go on raving about Patric and Definitive Motors, I would advise everyone to please research the car that you want; about the model of car that you’re after for, make sure you know what you want and are unwilling to compromise on, learn about the different trim levels, then learn about what options it currently comes with. Also learn about the limited warranty, contact the appropriate dealership in which your car is originally housed from and ask if warranty is transferred over, the mileage and time frame in which the warranty will drop off, also find out what is covered by the limited warranty. Research, research and more research. Also, Carfax! Do the background on the vehicle. When you’re confident enough, go see the vehicle in person (Granted if the vehicle is still available for sale) and make sure everything works. It’s not wrong or bad to know so much more about the vehicle than the sales person. Truthfully, you’re not only doing yourself a huge favor, you’re also saving yourself a sweet amount of time. I purchased a lease returned 2014 BMW i3 with only 8k miles. I knew what I wanted, knew that the warranty was going to transfer over to me and knew what was covered by the warranty, I made sure to contact BMW of Seattle to ask about how it would be handled. I knew what trim levels were available for the make and model of my car and knew what options I wanted, I did not compromise at all as I got everything I wanted on my check-list. I saved myself and Patric a lot of time, I was in and out of Definitive Motors driving away in my new car in less than 2 hours. I made sure to ask if the vehicle was still available and made sure to know which ones I would be looking at, Patric pulled up all the cars that I was interested in, he knew right away that I’ve done my full extensive research. I was confident in my purchase and confident with Patric. I would highly recommend seeing him as he was very professional, straight to the point and showed that he was there for you and really cared for you from A to Z. The process was painless, effortless, and hassle free. You are not made to feel pressured into buying the car. I had a good experience here. Low pressure sales, honest team of people. I bought my '15 GTI with 13k miles from them and they took good care of me. Very happy with the car, the process of finding the car, the price and the customer service. Whilst I knew the car I wanted - make, model, year, mileage etc. and the price I was prepared to pay, it all didn’t come together until I got to Definitive Motors (DM). They had the car I wanted with the right specs, Dru answered the questions I had and let me have as long as I needed to make a decision - including getting the car checked out by an independent service center (a deposit was required for this). A number of reviewers have commented on the quality of customer service, I have no complaints and even had a quick recommendation from a recent buyer while waiting to test drive the vehicle! Also, I visited 6 dealerships before DM, and while I know that there is always a “game” that’s played in such places it felt less overt. Yes, there was the “man upstairs “ that had to consider my counter-offer but “he” was respectful and civil :-) Lastly (and by no means least!) Patric got me a much better finance rate than my research turned up. Would highly recommend. Tell the “man upstairs” I said “hi”!

I Purchased a BMW from Joe at Definitive. I have had 3 BMW's in the past, this by far was the best experience I have ever had purchasing a BMW. There was no cheesy sales pitch,no back and fourth drama, it was the best professional,seamless,stress free deal. I got a amazing deal, so let me tell you thats just the start. I took into BMW a week later to have it washed....The BMW dealer said after washing my car, "hey did you know you need new tires" I said no way...I just got it and it only has 20k on it. They replied the are High Performance and need sooner replacement than regular tires. I called Fred the GM at Definitive, he said just bring the BMW here I will take car of it! Now mind you I had already drove off the lot he was at no way responsible to do anything. What he did was personally drive me to Discount Tire walked with me to the counter and said, can you please get him a new set of tires and send me the bill! No need to haggle over price. You're previous negotiating tactics need not apply. These are already the lowest wholesale prices you will find. These are mostly high-end, luxury autos that are pre-owned or coming off lease. Consequently, many are coming off factory warranties so do yourself a favor and purchase an extended warranty and walk away with the peace of mind that brings. What I mean by that is they will oblige you and allow you to try something they know you really want, but don't push you to allow you find what suits you. Patric allowed me to drive 4 or 5 cars (alone, for some time to really get familiar) and some of these test drives required as many as 6 cars to be moved to free my choice up, even though he knew I wouldn't like it. this became a 3 day process to find "my" car. The representative was informative and answered all our questions. He drove us for a test drive as we did not have insurance at that point. He made calls to the owner twice when we asked for a price negotiation and it was close though we had not got to our ask price. Wonderful purchase experience on a BMX X6, the price was well below the market compared to any other dealers in the area. Every car is priced to sell. I got the best financing option, I originally accepted a rate for 2.24% but they found a bank for me that offered @1.99% the next day and called me to re-sign a new lower payment. I don't think anyone else would shop you for a better rate after the car was already sold. The car lot is definitely smaller but if they had their cars on a bigger lot you wouldn't get such a deal. You have issues talk to TJ or anyone at Definitive and they will do what they can to get it resolved.

f you think you will get your best deal at one of the big car dealerships ~ think again. I shopped that way for years and sure had my eyes opened after dealing with Steve and Fred at Definitive Motors. I had shopped at a Lynnwood dealership that didn't have what I wanted, even though they advertised as such, and they offered me a very low price for my trade-in. And I shopped at a Bellevue dealership that was the very definition of why I hate car shopping. Definitive Motors has a good variety of nice cars and SUVs, priced to sell below market (I had done my homework). I went in after work and left with the beautiful 2013 BMW SUV I had been looking for ~ all within 2 hours ~ and got twice the money for my trade-in. These guys are honest and low-key. We bought a late model vehicle from Patric last November in February when we took the car fur service found out it had been in a minor accident but repair work wa subpar. I did not intend to buy a car this week - they had several cars on the lot that I was interested in just looking at to determine the car I wanted to purchase. They have gorgous cars on their lot - so many to choose from. The first car we saw was the BMW and it was beautiful, I loved the interior, but I was hoping for a car with 3 rows of seats. We took it for a test drive - I love that they don't have to go with you, and that you can take it home. We didn't have to drive it far to know that we loved this car and did not need to look any further. Our salesman, Joost, was not at all pushy, he was knowledgable about the car and it's features and he also served as our finance guy. We had always bought our cars through BECU but he said he could get us a better rate which he did. He explained about the Xylon application but did not push it at us. I picked up the car today after having it put on and it looks beautiful and smells wonderful! The entire thing took less than 2 hours and I didn't even have a headache when we left. They called within a couple of days to make sure everything was good and that we were happy. Excellent customer service! I've told everyone that this was the least stressful, pleasant purchase we have ever made. I walked out of the library tonight and my car was sitting right in front and I just thought to myself - wow this is a beautiful car! Thank you Definitive Motors.

I did my pricing research on the vehicle in advance and realized there would be very little room for negotiation as it was near wholesale. Very competitive compared to Craigslist ads and other dealerships as well. I asked for $500 off anyway, and they split the difference with me. The staff was courteous and professional, and they even provided financing that beat the preapproved financing I had from BECU. OK, so hubby and I had been shopping for a car for what seemed like ages. Then we stumbled upon Definitive Motors. Here are the top five reasons our experience was so great: First, it's all types of cars in one place, so no need to go to Acura, BMW, Infinity, Mini, etc....it's all right there, no driving around from dealer to dealer. Big time-saver! Second, we were greeted with a warm, friendly smile and firm handshake by Patric Quin, their Finance-Internet Sales Manager. Patric was instantly likable. It was like talking to a friend about buying a car. Well, except that he knew what he was talking about...like, expertly. He's a car guy. He knew about each model and could talk about the benefits and drawbacks of each one, which was so helpful. He seemed genuinely interested in our happiness, rather than in selling us a car. NO pressure. Really. No pressure at all. What a welcome experience! We took multiple test drives. We sat in a LOT of cars. We came back to Definitive on at least three separate occasions. Still, no pressure...seriously, the man is patient. Third, there's no haggling at Definitive Motors. They set a fair price and that's that. No need to put on your boxing gloves, prepare to cry, or bring the "wheeler dealer" in the family with you. The price is the price and you don't need to stress about it or even think about it because it's a fair one. Fourth, did we mention Patric was amazing? Yup, not only was he likable, knowledgeable, no pressure, interested in our happiness, and amazingly patient, but he was also quite efficient. Once we decided on a car...boom! Paperwork was quick, follow-up items were addressed and listed, car mats got put in the car, stickers were scraped off, the windows were washed and we were on our way! Easy breezy! Fifth, we didn't get that, "Don't let the door hit you on the way out" feeling. Do you know what I'm talking about? When you buy a car (or anything really) and you get that feeling like the salesperson is brushing off his hands and saying, "That's done! Good riddance!". Patric actually chatted with us, gave us his email, invited us to call or text if we had any questions or issues. And each time we visited (including the time we bought the car) he sent follow up emails to check in. Pretty cool. It leaves you with a nice feeling. I just bought a Miata today from TJ at Definitive Motors and am SO happy with the whole overall experience! They had the car I wanted (which I found online and is why I came to them), the test drive is really easy going and I had a chance to drive the car with my brother and without the salesperson so we can get a feel for the vehicle, they were very helpful and responsive over email and the phone before I came in, the price was fair right out of the gate, TJ made the experience really fun and enjoyable, and the whole thing is like a textbook awesome experience. I used to sell cars too and so I know the different no-so-cool tricks that a salesperson could do, but TJ doesn't do any of them. It was so refreshing and enjoyable! The numbers are straightup, no hidden fees or nonsense you don't need, everything is exactly as they tell you. If there's any issues, they'll take care of them. I was in and out in less than two hours and really liked that TJ did the whole deal including both sales and F&I (doing the paperwork as the finance manager) so I got to spend time hanging out with him the whole deal rather than having to go meet someone new to complete the second half of the deal. Steve is really friendly too, even though he wasn't my salesperson. Usually you only talk to the one salesperson you're working with, but it's a small team there and it was genuinely enjoyable getting to know the people there. Even Adrian who detailed my car after I bought it did a great job cleaning the car up and I really appreciate what he did. After the deal is done, it's easy to say that's that, hand over the keys, shake the person's hand, and off they went. However, we all walked outside and they spent more time chatting with me, complimenting the car, and giving me even more helpful information even after I had already bought the car and finished the deal! It's a little thing, but it shows that they all really enjoy their customers and selling cars in general (man that's such a big deal!) and it really makes the whole experience, as a customer, so fantastic. I would have given 5 stars if the follow up on the promise at the time of purchase was less painful. The GM was full of energy and very responsive, however it was like pulling teeth to have the followup on the promised paint work. I purchased used car with paint damage because of the promise that he will get the new paint on it within 2 weeks and give a equivalent loaner car to use. Despite my instinct to get it done before the final signature, I trusted him to keep the promise. However, once I brought the car home, I had to send the message almost everyday to schedule the paint job. I was given that he could not get the loaner car allocated. After painful back and forth for 2 weeks, I drop off the car and to my surprise, I got Kia sedan as loaner for my BMW x3. Not to mention that the car was very poorly cleaned with cookies and trash between the seats. I am not happy, but it was not a big deal, since it was only going to be 2 days, or 3-4 days if it has to go into long weekend. Now, it is my 8th day of driving this sub-standard loaner, and I still do not know when I will get my car back. Every time I connect with the dealer there is always a reason for delay, whether it was the loaner car, or a day off, or a long weekend. I am really stressed and this is NOT how your car buying experience should be. I don't know why I have to feel like I am asking for a favor every time I send a message to check on the status of the car. I am just asking for what was agreed at the time of purchase and this cheapens my experience considerably. Heck, I even paid full asking price on the car without any haggling because I did not want to deal with stress. I was told yesterday that he will check on my car and give me an ETA today, but I am stressing already in case I have to ask him for the status again this afternoon. Arrrggggggh. I will update this post later to share how my car turns up.

This company is at a small location, but their service and deals are not! I had been looking for an Acura MDX for a couple months. I knew exactly what I wanted and how much I could afford. I came across Definitive Motors through USAA's Car Buying Program. I figured if they (Definitive Motors) participated in this program they had to be reputable. Once I started looking at their website I knew this is where I was going to find my vehicle. They have all luxury makes and models with low mileage and very fair deals (usually below blue book). I wanted to buy a 2012 Acura MDZ they had, but it had been keyed in several spots. I am a perfectionist, I mentioned to Patric I wanted negotiate a deal, but with the keyed marks I couldn't do it. Patric said it wouldn't be a problem, they would take it to an auto body shop. I also told him it needed to be aligned and they took care of this too. They gave me a very fair price for my 2011 Infiniti G37x. I told Patric I was approved through USAA and the interest rate. he said they could get me a better deal with Alaska USA (and they did!). Overall this is a really nice and friendly dealer. I was able to find the car I wanted exactly and they worked okay on the price (only a couple hundred). The only reason why I am docking off ONE star is because when I came back two days to pick up the car (had some warranty stuff to fix) they didn't have the second remote AND they didn't even have the mats that go with the car (which is about $400-500 for both missing items). My suggestion for everyone that is thinking about purchasing a car here is that yes the cars are there but make sure you are getting everything with it. I did a ton of looking around via the internet and local auto sales for a BMW X5, at one point all over the US as our desired color combination was tough to find. I found one of the best deals in the nation at Definitive Motors (after weeding out the salvaged titles etc.) and gave these guys a call. I was lucky enough to reach Fred who ended up providing me the best auto sales experience I have ever had (and I am 40 years old). His evaluation of the vehicle while I was on the phone was as close to spot on as one could ever ask for without doing it yourself. I would say he literally reported 99% of the very small items I noted upon pick up (and these were very small mind you, the car was in amazing shape, as described). He beat my local credit union on a finance rate that was less than 1.70%, the application was easy, and he was back to me within the hour with an approval! An hour. It takes my CU days, and they have all my bank accts! When we settled on a deal, I found a flight up from Bend, OR but was concerned with the drive home over mountain passes under a blizzard warning, so he set me up with the local Les Schwab and got me his discount on my new studded tires and rims to boot. He took it over and brought it back for me. When I arrived, I needed only do a quick test drive and once over of the rig, and the paper work I had to sign to close the deal took 20 min at the most (TJ, the finance guy was just an exceptional man as well. Nicest I've met.) I almost had the car delivered, which Fred offered to assist with, but found an inexpensive flight and decided to fly up as my past experiences have not been so keen with auto sales fellas. Next time, I honestly have no concerns and will have it sent as I know I can trust this man's word, which from my experience is a rare find in this business. I hate buying cars because of the sales associates quite frankly. This was hands down the best, cleanest, professional deal you could hope to have, and the 08 X5 is just amazing to boot! After some research we found an Audi at DM that looked promising. We visited their facility and TJ initially helped us out. The definitive choice for auto sales excellence! I bought a beautiful 135i from these folks, TJ was my salesperson and he was incredible -- I wound up paying less, per month, than I had been paying for the Lexus I brought in to use for my trade, and he got me an interest rate less than half of my old rate. The car is amazing, it's my first BMW, and I'm in love with it! Gorgeous cars on the lot, and my 135i was no exception, except to say it was a higher miles car than they usually sell, but they assured me that their partnered shop, LBR Automotive, had gone over it thoroughly, and it drove like a dream on the test drive and thereafter. I made the mistake, a few months after purchase, of taking it to a shop I didn't know, simply because I was looking for a specific performance tune shop to give me some advice on upping the performance beyond stock. That shop freaked me out with a laundry list of supposed repairs I needed. Having been burned by dealerships in the past, I immediately went into idiot reaction mode, and made an idiot of myself ranting at Definitive and LBR. I even posted up an unsavory review -- for which I apologized -- which I have replaced now with this review. Fred, the General Manager at Definitive, saw that negative review and called me immediately, within hours actually, and was dedicated to hearing me out and getting an assessment of the car, where I was invited to see for myself the supposed "repair" issues. I was shocked and humbled to discover the other shop was being untruthful, and the car was, in fact, in great condition, just as I had been told when it was sold to me. So, not only was Definitive just as amazing, after the sale, as at the time of the sale, but they were even patient with my wrongful overreaction, and saved me a ton of money on repairs that were not at all needed. Their dedication to customer satisfaction is unparalleled, in my experience, in the car sales world. I am impressed beyond measure and they have my highest recommendation and loyalty for sorting things out, and saving me from paying for unnecessary repair costs. I can't thank Fred, and TJ (and Michael at LBR Automotive) enough for working through my misplaced trust in a shop that wasn't dealing straight, and I'm thankful they accepted my apologies and were understanding of my initial upset, having been misled by what I was told. When it comes time to trade up or across in the high end vehicle market, I'll be back to see Fred and TJ again, and for anyone looking for a great car, backed by the BEST of customer service, I highly, highly recommend you shop at Definitive Motors! I am absolutely a most happy customer, and learned some valuable lessons along the way, to always get a second opinion when it comes to repairs. Thanks again Definitive Motors!
