I could not be more happy about my experience with Porsche SLC. I am young and probably don't look like I can afford a Porsche. No one at the dealership seemed to treat me that way at all. Teddy, the sales agent who helped me for over a year (the wait was that long for the Cross Turismo Taycan), could not have done a better job. He spent a lot of time with me and went over many options the car had so I could spec it how I wanted. He kept me updated throughout the process as well. He followed up with me after the purchase to make sure I was happy. Just an amazing job, especially with how busy the dealership is now. Other folks at the dealership recognized me when I would come by and were very friendly. They also complimented my build a lot when it finally came in. They say they use the pictures to show potential Taycan customers which is awesome! Now that I own a Porsche, I can see why people never really go back. The car is absolutely amazing! Can't wait for my next one. Either a 911 GTS or the 2025 Cayman GT4 E-Performance. Can't decide!

I recently bought a Cayenne from this dealer. It's my third Porsche, all of which I've purchased from them. The purchase experience was great. But I noticed after driving the car a few times after delivery that it was out of alignment. I notified the dealer and set up an appointment to have it addressed. I was told that they'd do the alignment at 1/2 the normal cost. Huh? Shouldn't the car be delivered with proper alignment? A 2nd experience - the other night I needed to pick up a part and was trying to get there before they closed at 6:00. Fortunately I made it there at 5:55 and went inside. Sales people and service people were around, but the parts department was locked with the lights off. Right there on the glass next to the door the hours of operation showed open until 6:00. A service advisor told me they had already gone home for the day and I'd need to come back another day. I just decided to find a Porsche dealer out of California that would sell me the part online. There have been a few other minor post-purchase challenges with the dealer, none of which I'd had with prior purchases. I know the dealership was sold to an ownership group out of Colorado a while ago. Perhaps that explains what seems to be different.

I took my Macan yesterday to Porsche of salt lake and was once again so impressed. There is a Porsche dealership way closer to my home but the drive to this one is well worth it. Cory in service over the years always answers the phone and answers all my detailed questions even for a Porsche I am looking at purchasing. This is my third Porsche and definitely not the last. Yesterday they had a vehicle available for me to run an important errand and then I was able to use a mini office so I could do work while waiting. I also greatly appreciated the Gourmadise parfait in the fridge and my favorite sparkling water as I wasn’t going to have to eat before meeting a client. Best of all I was checked on several times by multiple employees and even given an update when my car was a half an hour out. A sales person I had worked with in the passed said hello and I got details on the changes and enhancements for the new Macan. I love cars and appreciated the new knowledge.

Doug in parts deserves special mention. He is knowledgeable, thoughtful, approachable, and kind. I bought a new-to-me 2009 Cayenne Turbo S. It was treated poorly and missing bits here and there. We have been slowly putting humpty dumpty back together again, and Doug has been patient and helpful as we find and order a bolt here, a trim piece there. This is why the Porsche brand wins; it is people like Doug. Apparently I can’t review twice, so adding Eddie here. This dude knows his cars, and Porsche in particular. He is helpful, easy to talk with, and is going places in sales or wherever he chooses to build his career, I imagine. Just yesterday, I was given a loaner while in service (thank you, by the way)! He noticed me struggling to orient to the Macan cabin, connect to CarPlay, etc. Eddie stopped what he was doing, parked the car he was moving, and came over to help me out. I felt like there was no other place he would rather be, like a valued guest and of course you would show a guest around and help them get sorted. Again, this is why Porsche wins. Thanks Eddie!

I live in Chicago and during covid season I bought a used Mercedes R350 from them. Daniel was a true professional and handled everything nicely. I got it for a nice price. Mr. Eastman is truly the best in the industry. Buying a car from them is no problem I’m sure, but I would do deep investigation (ask all the questions about every detail of the car) and actually go drive the car yourself. My car came with a couple of issues that I wasn’t informed about: 1. Back up camera not functioning in the least. 2. The trunk does not close properly sometimes. I immediately called and informed of the first problem because that was a huge issue. The second I figured I can try to see what to do about it. They apologized, however I did tell them I’ll be sending them my cost of fixing the camera. Overall I’m happy with the car but was disappointed that my wife’s birthday present was not sold to me as advertised. I would not call it dishonesty, I would however say that I find it strange that nobody put the car in reverse, because they claimed they never knew about it. You may call it slight negligence, unacceptable in either case, but I bought the car for the best available deal in the nation, so I’m more happy than disappointed, albeit, simultaneously. TL;DR: good dealership and staff, best deal in the country, you may buy used cars from them but ask all the pertinent questions.

Porsche Salt Lake City saved our vacation. This dealership is top-notch and really cares about the customer... even the guy from out-of-state with an inoperable 10 year old Cayenne. Their Service department and technicians are miracle workers. I cannot say enough about the great way we were treated and the incredible speed that they got us back on the road. We were (...are still currently as this is written...) on a road trip vacation from California to Glacier Nat'l Park in Montana. On day 2 of our drive we left Cedar City, UT bound for Pocatello, ID, but we lost all of our coolant near Tremonton, UT about an hour north of SLC... on a Sunday evening. Well, that sure changes our plans. We got towed back to SLC and waited for the dealership to open on Monday morning. At 7:30 AM I was on the phone with Service and asked if I could drop the vehicle for them to inspect and let me know what was wrong. I was informed that the next available appointment was the following Wednesday, but I could drop the Cayenne and they would "see what they could do for us". We got the car towed in and dropped off around 11:30 AM. We arranged for a rental car to continue our trip, figuring it would be at least a few days, maybe a week or more before we'd be able to get our car repaired. An hour later (ONLY an hour!) we were on our way out of town in the rental car when I received a text from the dealership with a link to a video assessment of the car. Wait... what? I clicked the link and saw our Cayenne up on the lift with the technician following the coolant trail from the rear of the car until he got to the issue: a coolant pipe had come out of it's housing near the firewall, which dumped all of the coolant. In the video he said "We'll get this cleaned up and re-bonded and you shouldn't have any more issues." We pulled over for lunch and I called our Service Advisor (Bailey) and told him I saw the video and asked "...so, is the car able to be fixed sooner than next Wednesday?" He said "It should be ready for you later this afternoon." Mind: BLOWN! Are you kidding me? SAME DAY REPAIR! A Porsche dealer that takes a 10 year old vehicle from a non-regular, non-local customer and they turn it around in less than a day? That, my friends, is SERVICE. That is a dealership that cares about the customer. After lunch we turned the rental car around and headed back to SLC (luckily we hadn't gone too far in less than an hour!). We got the Cayenne back at 5:00 PM and headed north. She is running perfectly. Our vacation was saved because Porsche Salt Lake City went above and beyond (which is NOT an overstatement here) to get us back on the road ... IN LESS THAN A DAY! If you are wondering if bringing your vehicle to Porsche Salt Lake City for service is the right move, let me assure you: It is the best move you can make. If I lived here, they would have my business, without question or doubt.

My Cayenne developed an issue with speaker static (and needed 50k servicing) and Eric, Dennis and the team figured it out and fixed within a day (including air overnighting a new amp). Overall, a good experience. However, some areas of improvement are their online scheduling for maintenance appointments and information regarding scheduled maintenance. I was given conflicting information on the phone versus in person. When I scheduled an appointment for 4 o’clock online I was later told that their guys go home at 4 o’clock and they didn’t know why it let me schedule a 4 o’clock appointment. I was only given the choice of going in 2 hours earlier, which I had to change my plans for, or rescheduling for the following week. 1/15/2020 UPDATE: My latest visit was a much better experience!! I had no issues with scheduling on line and they have added a video inspection of the car, which they send a link to watch, wherein the mechanic explains what they’re inspecting, what has been found, and their recommendations. Nice!!
