The sales/parts and scheduling teams were absolutely best-in-industry from the moment I first called to schedule, until I left the dealership. They had all necessary parts and new snow tires ordered for me and ready to go, confirmed the plan with me when I arrived, had a very reasonably priced loaner vehicle (same as mine!) ready to go...and even HELPED ME MOVE MY CARSEATS to the loaner vehicle and back again. They were done quickly and everything works great. To top it all off, the final price was less than I had budgeted. I won't go anywhere else from now on!

I came in for an oil change and to get my snow tires on. This was supposed to take about 1.5 hours. Apparently, everyone was getting their tires on that day and so it took a lot longer than expected, a total of 3.5 hours. Jose was so kind to continue checking in with me and keeping me updated on what was happening and to make sure I was okay and to provide me with options. Jose and Tony Sorias were so kind and kept me up to date on what was happening and even comped my bill since it took so long! I appreciated the way they both were so kind. This is why I love Subaru, such excellent customer service and the staff seems to really care. Thanks Jose and Tony!

I came in 3 months ago to explore possibly leasing a Subaru and selling our current car. Each time I came in I found everything to be efficient, friendly and as easy as dealing with cars can be.
We were able to get out old car sold and await the arrival of our new one. On arrival I was able to set up a time that worked for my spouse and myself to get the lease paperwork done and the car picked up.

I missed my scheduled appointed service due to my garage door not opening as I had to get it fixed. I called to cancel the appointment and I was told I could come in later in the day before 5:00. I had to bring my car for the 2020 ascent recall. I had booked my appointment online originally with the note that I'd wait while it was being done but had to change the appt so called in. The phone scheduler was super friendly and said it would take a bit of time to do the recall and offered to put me in a loaner. Turns out we had some other warranty issues so I was without my car longer than expected, they explained everything when they called to update me. I forgot my garage door opener in the loaner. Everyone I talked to on the phone and in person was friendly and great! The loaner car was fun to drive and a great way to tempt customers in to getting the newer model😉.

The experience was overall pleasant, the teams are transparent and the sales manager worked with us to resolve an issue we had. This dealership is quite honest and does not have the crazy market adjustments other dealerships are trying to charge these days. the sales people are paid a wage and not commissions, so they aren't slimy and pushy like most dealerships.

The experience began with a conversation and test drive in June 2022 with team member Paul Whitehead. After making the decision to purchase a Subaru Forrester, Paul informed me that the vehicle would be ordered and arrive within 3-4 weeks. Paul kept me updated on the process and when the time for the vehicle arrived on January 3, 2023, the final process began with me meeting with Paul and Mont. Needless to say, the paperwork process was easy and fairly simple. The next step involved connecting with concierge Malachi and learning about all the bells and whistle the vehicle came equipped with along with the added perks of a monthly car wash and various maintenance amenities. The service I received was excellent. I had an appointment for radiology that was going to take a chunk of time out of my day. I was able to handle approvals online in order to get all of my issues resolved without delay.
I was particularly happy with Samuel Munoz. He was the contact person regarding the service I needed and he was prompt, professional and he kept me informed of the status throughout the service.

Alex Cosma and one of their other mechanics (I don’t remember his name) took the time to answer our questions about our high mileage car and talk about some of the warning signs you can look for as far as if the engine or transmission is going bad, and were able to find and tell me what the noise I had been worried about was. They didn’t make us feel like an inconvenience at all for taking time asking those questions even on a busy Saturday. They not only told us what was wrong with our car, but gave us additional thoughts/warnings/advice as to fixing a high mileage car.

The service is fine; however, I’ve made the same request 5+ times about a name change and who to address when contacting me and they have failed to make that adjustment. My last appointment there I waited an extra 20 minutes in the lobby (1.5 hours total) because they left me a voicemail (addressed to the wrong name) instead of directly telling me my car was ready.

Took the car in for the Winter Protection Detail. Most of the car was done well. Unfortunately, the windows had streaks especially the windshield, the outside of the trunk door was still dirty and looked like it had not been washed at all, and the inside of the trunk had definitely not been vacuumed since it still had debris. For 89.99 it didn't seem worth it. I ended up having to take the car to a car wash shop just so they could finish the job that I had just paid Subaru to do.

I came in to see what the issue was with a slow leak in my driver's side tire. Come to find out a nail was stuck in it. I was promised 1 hour for the service and it took . . . exactly one hour! In addition, you topped off my fluids, all for free! It doesn't get much better than that for sure.

Showed up for a Takata airbag recall service, but realized I was at the wrong dealership and had no appointment here.
Despite this, they still decided to fit me in to their schedule and did the service in great time (beating the time estimate the other dealership gave me) and washed my car for me.
They also offered me a free Uber and honored everything that the other dealership did, even though I didn’t have an appointment there and it was my mistake to show up to the wrong place.

My entire experience with your dealership was amazing. I live in Indiana and wanted to buy a car in Utah and then drive it home. I talked with Max on the phone a couple weeks before my trip and he started sending me information about cars. He was good at reaching out to me leading up to my trip so he would be prepared for me. I had a good experience this being the first time I've used the Midtown location. After a few hiccups, I was finally able to get my car serviced and repaired. Juan was great and Tony (manager) was solid in making sure the shop error was taken care of. However, after arriving home with my car, I realized there was a TON of misses on the detail job. I sent photos back to Juan who told me Tony would reach out. It's been two weeks and I haven't heard from anyone. This happened the last time my car was detailed by MM, too. Today, I also realized that my previously matching tire caps are no longer matching as 2:4 are missing.

Awesome experience! I haven't been to a dealership where I have felt so confident and at ease in buying a car. Paul Whitehead was the one that helped me and my boyfriend. After the first minute with him, I knew I was going to buy a car from him sooner or later. He was super nice and was very easy to talk to. Don't forget very honest and helpful! We test drove the car that day but didn't end up buying it until the next day since still wanted to test drive other vehicles. Even though Paul was off the next day, he still offered to come in to help us buy the car. The process was quick and easy. Also, Jon was our financial advisor, and he was super nice and friendly as well! Was a pleasure working with him and Paul. P.S, I did ended up buying the extended warranty because I wanted a peace of mind.
Unfortunately, there were some cons. When I bought my car, the gas tank was not filled up all the way (it was half full), the interior wasn't cleaned very well, and the price was not negotiable. But I really wanted the car, so I overlooked those cons and didn't mind them too much.

I picked up the new BRZ i ordered in December. My Salesman Steve Page had stored it away safely in the back lot. Per my request, Steve had not washed the car or installed license plate brackets. I then met with the Finance Rep Rhett. He explained all the optional coverage available in a low-pressure manner. We had a great experience here, would recommend. Alex was helpful, honest, and not pushy; he helped us get into a Subaru Forester that is just what we were looking for. I was surprised that they do not negotiate on the price, but I liked this because their prices were reasonable and at a fair price. We purchased used, but the vehicle seems high quality, had been inspected in depth, and comes with a warranty from Subaru giving us some peace of mind. Loan interest rates through Subaru were lower than any bank we got approved from. Also, who can complain about a complementary cafe? Thanks for setting the standard high, I'm sure we'll be back.

I love my Subaru, I’ve had it for some time and bought it from this location. The staff was nice and friendly though I would have liked a greater selection. They did not have the color I wanted when I originally bought my car there. The other aspect was the lending, not the best experience and it did a number on my credit. I would recommend arriving with your own loan pre-approved from your personal banking partner.

After a long day of shopping for a particular used car, we found the perfect car at Mark Miller Subaru. It was getting late, and we were a long ways from home.
After a phone call, Austin met us with a smile and confirmed the details. We went for a test drive and determined the car was as advertised and was well prepared. Price was very competitive, so no negotiation necessary.
It was a very comfortable buying experience. No high pressure and no shenanigans. Their financing beat my credit union by 0.20%. Their team stayed after closing time to complete the deal. Every member of the team came by and introduced themselves to make sure our needs were met. The car was detailed again to make sure it was perfect. Austin even offered up some new floor mats to be shipped to our house in Idaho.
Every person we met was honest, transparent, and seemed to genuinely care... I could feel their excitement for us. It was like they were family.
One week later and the car is perfect. No hidden surprises. The floor mats arrived in the mail even though that was only a handshake deal.

I recently had the AC go out on my 2014 Subaru Impreza. This was diagnosed to be a faulty AC compressor which had a related service bulletin for the known defective compressor.
Despite being out of warranty for nearly 5 years, the dealership worked with Subaru of America corporate office to cover the entire repair cost. This saved me a couple thousand dollars.
I am so thankful to Tom from the service center and Subaru as a whole for doing the right thing and taking care of the issue. They could have done nothing, but they took care of the customer.

Having worked on commercials for Mark Miller Subaru, I approached them when my current lease was ending.
I learned about the Mark Miller difference - they don't negotiate and they do a substantial amount of community reach out support and donations, which was meaningful to me.
I was referred to Mark Patterson. Mark was lovely and super easy to work with. Ordering my new lease was like ordering a sandwich - I LOVED IT.
While I waited for the vehicle to arrive, Mark touched based once a month to let me know the status. It was just right. The car arrived while I was out of the country and Mark sent me a video of it - super thoughtful.
When I arrived back we connected about picking up the vehicle and completing paperwork. I left Mark a voice message inquiring about window tinting. Ten minutes later, the MM tinting specialist called me and after a chat, he said he know just what to do. I was impressed by and appreciative of the efficient way Mark and his team used their time (and respected mine) - no unnecessary calls - succinct and right on. (The window tint too was just right.)
My interactions with other MM personnel and accounting were all similar - easy. I feel like I got my questions answered and got good counsel when I asked a question.
All in all I am a 100% fan!

I probably received 8-10 text message alerts and reminders concerning this process. Seems like overkill, but I guess people are busy and you probably get stood up a lot, so I can understand your need to be proactive with communication.
It appears the windshield wiper fluid was not refilled - no fluid is visible the entire length of the fluid reservoir neck. It's my understanding that all fluids are topped up as part of the oil service. What's the deal?
A little radiator fluid was added - it shows about 1/2 inch above the low line, but no where near the full line. What's up with that? Why didn't they fill it to the full line?
The dipstick shows oil approx 1/4 quart above the full line.
Also the brake fluid was topped up to just above the full line.

I can’t say enough good things about Mark Miller Subaru Midtown! A previous dealership ruined our brakes on our sti and we were dealing with this problem for 5+ months. We had enough and reached out to their operations director. They got us into their midtown location pretty quickly. They kept us updated every step of the way, they found the problem that was causing our brake vibration, did an oil change and did the emission all while they had it. The previous dealership chipped our brembo calipers and they had them powder coated and they look amazing. We have had our car back for about a month now and the brakes are just as smooth as when we first bought it. I dread the "game" of buying a car (my husband won't even come with me because he hates it even more), but this was a very laid back, no games experience. Compared to other dealerships I have been to, Looking at you Young Subaru, it was a great experience from start to finish, other than one minor annoyance.
To start this is in the middle of a massive shortage of cars so availability is limited, so anything related to that is not counting against Mark Miller.
My wife and I went in looking to trade my old Crosstrek in for a new Sport model. The salesman, Paul, was great to work with, low pressure. He helped us find a model with the color and add-ons we wanted that was already in the pipeline on the way to the dealership, which cut the wait down to half what it could have been. Paul kept us up to date on the shipping status and when it arrived. Comprehensive walkthrough of all the new features of the car and everything. They had a very competitive offer for my old car, which we had shopped around to see the best deal we could get. And he was able to schedule parts to be installed later that we had ordered with it.
The installation process was simple, and came with free pickup and a loaner while they installed the items. They even had a tracking app for watching as they drove my new car to and from the dealership.
The one downside was the Finance department. They were quite slow, especially considering they have such limited number of cars to sell right now. and the finance person tried fairly hard to push an extended warranty. Said warranty would have ended up costing over $10,000 over the life of the loan. An extremely excessive amount, especially considering out car insurance covers a portion of the items he was trying to sell. If not for this attempt at what is almost a scam they would have gotten 5 stars. It wasn't enough to keep me from going back, especially since Young Subaru is so bad on all levels, but I will always be cautious about the finance department and their attempted overpriced upsell.

I just purchased my 2020 Subaru Forester from Tony at the Midtown location. I have spent months of searching for the perfect car that not only checked all the boxes but was a great price. I cannot speak highly enough of the swift process, friendly service, and their commitment to ensuring I know ALL THE FACTS about not just the process but any modifications I was considering doing to the vehicle. I live 10 hours away and was able to complete the process from my house!Tony gave me a tour of the car via FaceTime and showed me anything I asked, he even simply turned the car on so I could hear the engine, when buying a car so far away I wanted to ensure there was no knocking even though the car has a warranty. The price was amazing and no back and forth on negotiations. I flew in and was greeted with what I imagine to be smiles(mask hinder actually seeing them), it was detailed and filled with gas. The great staff set me up with a tour of the vehicle and paired my phone and ensured all my questions were met before sending me off for new adventures in my new vehicle. I will be returning for our next vehicle, it was well worth the trip! Thank you Mark Miller Subaru- Midtown for everything, and the letter was nice to return home to!

Bought a car here over the weekend and had such a great experience! I was dreading buying a new car because I didn't want to do it without my dad there to help me negotiate and haggle. Plus, I was worried the car dealership would take advantage of me being young and a woman. I was surprised to find out Mark Miller Subaru does not operate like this! They price their cars fairly, so there is no negotiating needed. They are also 100% upfront about all the costs and don't try to surprise you at the end by adding on a bunch of fees. They show you the price of the car, how much state taxes will be, doc fee, and registration fee so you know exactly the cost you will be walking out the door with. It was such a pleasant experience! Pete was the person who spent the day letting us test drive cars and walking us through the whole process. He was very kind, did not pressure us whatsoever, and made the whole experience memorable. Highly recommend coming here.

Great experience buying a used car here for my daughter. No games. Listened to what I wanted and didn't try to sell me anything more. I went out on a limb and bought the car with the promise that they would fix an issue with the paint on the hood. I was a bit nervous, but it turned out exactly as they said it would. Tony went above and beyond to help us out and was great to work with. When I took it to my mechanic to double-check, he said it was really unnecessary since Mark Miller does a full inspection we could trust and the car was in great shape. Super happy all around.

Mark Miller Subaru really is fantastic. After being in an accident which totaled my old Subaru Impreza, we upgraded to an Outback and the service could not have been better. Other dealerships we've been to around the US previously have been excessively pushy and created a stressful shopping experience- Mark Miller wasn't that at all. Anthony, our original salesperson we worked with, sent a text to check up on us to see if we needed anything from him, but no hounding phone calls! No pressure to purchase the most expensive vehicle on the lot! We ended up working with Max for all of our paperwork, and he was great. I contacted them about a Crosstrek that they had just sold and they went out of their way to find me the same model and color from a different dealer. Sheryl was my initial contact via the text option on their website. She was very helpful and able to get me in contact with Hector. He was great to work with, very knowledgeable and friendly. When I decided to go ahead and get the car I booked a flight up from Southern Utah and Hector arranged for Cass to pick me up from the airport and take me to the dealership. Everything went super smooth and was very low pressure. No hidden fees or surprise numbers when it came time to sign on the dotted line. Needed some help figuring out some new tech on my car after purchase, my salesman Victor was on it and made sure I was in good hands with Seth. I brought my 2008 Subaru Legacy in for service yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised by their quick service. I got an oil change and a multi point inspection, along with two other odd-ball requests of my own (I asked them to put my license plate on my car, and also to fix a panel that had fallen off), which they granted assistance with without hesitation AND without any extra fees. Even with the added objectives, they had finished all of the service WITH a nice car wash in less than 20 minutes!

The very best experience you can have buying a car. I say this having spent 2 months car shopping and going to 10 different dealerships. I wish we had gone here first! No sleaze, no tricks. I am so grateful such a dealership exists. It restored my faith in humanity after having had it chipped away at the other dealerships. We worked with Paul Whitehead and he was very pleasant, and down to earth. We got a great deal, it was a quick process (you don't get passed from one person to the next for each thing and don't have to sit around while they keep pretending they are going back to talk to the manager again to get you a "better deal"..ugh).
The follow up on service and how they go over all of the car features with you- and then follow up and offer a concierge to meet with you at the dealership or at your house, to review them or address any questions that have come up, was another example of their commitment to positive customer experiences. They are also very involved in service to our community, including animal rescue-so great! This dealership connects with humanity by doing things a little differently. This aspect was totally missing from every other dealership. It was honestly...refreshing.

Everything was great. We purchased a car that was only available outside of the State of Utah. At no point were we told "that's going to be impossible." Instead we were told, "it may take a little time, but we can get it done." We were given general time lines of how long things would take (finding the car would likely take several weeks, once located delivery would take 1-2 weeks, etc.) and the actual time lines far exceeded the general time lines that we were initially given. I appreciated the honesty in relation to the general time lines and I believe these time lines were exceeded because the staff at Mark Miller worked as a team, using their connections around the country, to quickly track down the car that we wanted and to get it shipped. Great service but minor problem with huge SUV loaner that barely fit in the carport. I inched it back a couple feet to get the garbage can put for pickup but left it in the carport because it was too big for me to drive. Return driver finally managed to extricate it with only minor damage to downspout and possibly also a sprinkler head that has disappeared.

Overall good experience. Service was completed sooner than estimated and the waiting area was nice and staff was very friendly. The only reason I can’t give my experience 5 stars is that the technician left a spotlight wedged in under my gas pedal. I noticed the pedal felt a little strange and discovered it when I arrived home. Luckily it didn’t cause any major problems but definitely could have resulted in an accident had it slipped from where it was placed. I did appreciate that Jose called me to follow up because the technician thought he may have left it there so I did drive back the next day to return it. I know mistakes can happen but please make sure your technicians are being mindful and making sure they’ve removed all of their tools before sending the car on its way! I was lucky but someone else might not be.

Nice people. Anthony (sales guy) and our finance guy were awesome and answered all of our questions/concerns. Calling for service can have good days where it’s easy to get what you need and other days they can’t find an account or it’s hard to talk to service. The lady (don’t know her name) is very helpful and nice. Bought a car about over 4 months ago and I already have to replace the battery after they told me the battery didn’t have to get replaced(few days prior to getting it checked out). Frustrated with it because I didn’t have a car for a few days since it wasn’t working but they couldn’t do anything for about a week since service was short on staff. I had to leave town but later that day they called me to tell me my battery had to get changed and they were waiting for my approval on it. Also frustrated that it’s costing me more to have a used car than if I were to buy a new car since extended warranty only covers electrical issues.
Extended warranty only covers 100$ for towing services so had to pay the rest out of pocket.
Overall, I like this dealership (way better than Nissan right across the street) but I probably won’t be buying a used car from here.

Simply awful!!! I have a 2020 Subaru Impreza and the brakes started to screech so I took it in for maintenance and they didn’t fix the problem. I called to complain and was talked down to by Josh Gold Smith who is a manager and extremely unhelpful. After going to the dealership for the second time they said they sanded and greased by brakes. Two days later they are screeching worse than before. If I was not tied to this dealership by a lease I would never come back again. Every single employee here is SO rude.

My experience with Mark Miller Subaru was great. I took my wife's 2019 Forester in to get a slow leak repaired in the driver rear tire. Nice waiting area, where I was kept informed and offered complimentary coffee. I was in and out in 45 minutes with no charge under warranty. I was already familiar with this kind of quality service with Mark Miller Toyota for my 2018 Prius. I saw the same great customer focused culture in both places and appreciated how similar they were. Same commitment to clean environment in their LEED buildings in both places. If its Mark Miller its right by me. Thanks.

I finally got my ‘05 Legacy in to Mark Miller Subaru ( Midtown store) a few days ago for the passenger airbag recall. Everything went well, and everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. They even washed it, which was nice.
I have also worked with the sales department and the Collision Center in the past and have never had any problems.
For me, they have been “getting it right” (quite refreshing these days)

It was time for an oil change. Damian Ferrel came up to check in my Subaru Crosstrekk 2015. He invited me to have a seat in the waiting area, before I walked away, he noticed my mileage was close to the 30,000 mile service. He asked me if I'd like them to do it, as they had time to do so. I jumped at the chance because my husband had a surgery the following week, and time was tight for me. He asked me if there was anything else I could think of that the car might need them to check out. I told him I was struggling at times with turning off the car, it would stick and the key would not budge. I had it checked a few times over the years, it never showed anything. I brought the car new and it had happened several times. This is my first time owning a Subaru, I just chalked it up to maybe it was something I was doing wrong, because it was only happening at random times.
Damian told me it'd be a longer wait to do the service that was due. I agreed. He came into the waiting area, and gave me updates as to the progress. It was past closing time, he told me the NEW part that they were to install was cracked, they'd have to send for the part from South Towne in the morning. He offered to call me an Uber or give me a ride home. He said they'd repair the car first thing in the morning and let me know the progress as they went. As promised he phoned the next morning, giving me a progress report. Around 11 a.m. Damian drove my car to me. The car was clean inside and out, the repairs made. I was expecting a bill of around, $940. I was given an invoice with a charge of $504.43 Because of the long wait, the faulty part, and keeping the car overnight, Damian spoke to his manager, they agreed to do a goodwill gesture and give me a break on the cost. No one at your dealership could possibly know what a blessing this was to me. My husband has a blood cancer called, Multiple Myeloma. I had to retire early to become his fulltime care giver. It of course is not the life we had planned together. We aren't special, we know that bad things happen to good people, the rain falls on the just and the unjust. But as of late it feels like we've had a lot of rain! With this world pandemic, my husbands health, life can be a real struggle. This signal act of kindness, was seriously such a big blessing in my life. Your employee, Damian Ferrel, could not of been kinder, or more professional. You need to hang on to such an outstanding young man. He is good for your business. So Thank You for taking such good care or you customers!

From the first interaction with Dilion I knew it was a good choice. I was treated professionally, warmly and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Charges were clearly laid out and relayed to me before doing the service. He offered to find the best price for the service. which I asked at the other one and was told if I didn’t’ bring a coupon there was nothing he could do.-Ah, Ok, I realize you don’t have to do something, but at the least John’s delivery could have been better. At best I would have walked away with an overpriced service from a rude rep.) One of the reasons I did all my service with Lithia Subaru of Reno is because Misty was such an amazing service rep. It was worth it. It looks like Mark Miller Subaru understands this important link to building repeat loyal clients. Afterall, if your first touch point experience isn’t great, you can just drive away and onto something better like I just did. Keep up the excellent customer service Mark Miller Subaru staff!

The manual transmission of my Impreza broke down back in May as I was cruising northbound on I-15. Traveling from California to Southeast Idaho, my best hope before the sun set was to get the car towed to Mark Miller Subaru. That next morning, I was able to work with Jose on the diagnostics of my car. The timing of all this was hectic because I had to travel to the PNW for work for the two months. The crew at MM Subaru made a discovery that the transmission and not the clutch is heavily damaged and there were no replacement part available. The team there allowed me to have my car kept there, and also quickly worked on the outstanding recalls for my vehicle. With such circumstance, Jose's manager agree to let me find, order, and ship a compatible transmission to MM Subaru. Within two to three weeks, I was able to get my transmission in from another Impreza out of Massachusetts! Having to put in further work, the team at MM Subaru discovered that I'd need a new set of flywheel and clutch combo as well, but won't charge me extra for labor since it's part of the work to remove the transmission. Once again, I had to order my own parts because my vehicle is so outdated that those parts are not readily available. From start to finish, along with various repairs, my car needed two months of work to get back safely on the road. The process could've been so much more difficult if it wasn't for my advisor, Jose, with his clear, attentive communication and understanding, and the team there allowing me to order in the discontinued parts for such laborious repairs. Huge thanks to this shop, and I highly recommend them!

I have to say I’m a huge Subaru fan, I just love the cars. I have worked with these guys on and off for warranty repairs and recalls. They have done a decent job historically and I felt my car was in good hands. My most recent experience with them has resulted in the loss of by business indefinitely. They repaired some recall issues and after the fact dropped my car off at my home. The car sat for 2 days and when I went to turn over the engine the power steering was out (it worked without issue beforehand and steering wasn’t part of the recall repairs). I reached out and they suggested I tow the car back to them at my expense unless they deemed it there fault, then they would pay back the tow. $65 and one odd tow drive later the repair was completed and even though they had torn the car apart on the initial visit, including engine removal, they refused to compensate the tow. Pretty disappointed to get a non drivable car out of the shop after a recall and then pay to have the car towed back at my expense to tighten a loose cable...

3 months later I am still having issues and was able to hash it out with management. The car is currently in with them will continue to update.

We were able to discuss our options over the phone, and the salesperson was able to get our car within days. When we arrived at the dealership, the car and the paperwork were ready to go, and the signing process took less than 45 minutes (at a safe distance). Had a good experience buying my car here and with the service department. I had someone back in to my car though and had to go to the collision center and was not impressed with them. The work they did turned out pretty well (although they forgot to plug my headlights back in) but the communication was not good.
The sales process was very nice. When choosing the car itself they weren’t pushy at all, and were very accommodating in looking at different options, etc. My sales guy was great. After I decided, going through the paperwork process it got a little too pushy on the different warranty options and insurance, etc but it wasn’t a huge deal.
All told I would still highly recommend Mark Miller. I had bad experiences with Nate Wade so this is where I would recommend going if you want a Subaru.

I almost forgot to say something about this but a little over a month ago I went into Mark Miller Subaru to get my emissions done, and usually lube techs suck! But the costumer service was amazing. A guy named brad helped me with paying and I think he was the one that did my emissions. But while we were checking me out and getting me ready to pay the system shut down. And I was in a hurry brad was super great at getting help and getting me out as fast as possible and, keeping me busy by talking to me. It was awesome!!! I recently took my '17 Forrester last minute to Mark Miller Subaru right after having my car jumped started in a grocery store parking lot. I had been sick in bed for several days and was out on a soup run, when my car failed to start. I was reluctant to head to the dealers while not feeling well. I purchased my first Subaru at Mark Miller about 4 or 5 years ago, and this week returned for our second purchase. Since the first purchase with Mark Miller we have purchased other vehicles at other dealerships (we moved out of state and are now back), and never had the kind of experience that we have now had two times with Mark Miller Subaru Midtown. We worked with Jon as our sales agent during our first purchase and absolutely had a wonderful experience; we felt everything was transparent, friendly and very helpful - getting a great price without the hassle of any back and forth is an added bonus. At the time I remember Jon listening to what we were looking for and what we could afford and finding us the right fit at a great price, no pressure to get anything we didn't need or want. This most recent experience was a little different in that budget was not as much of an issue, but Mark and Carlos (our sales agents this time around) were excellent in explaining what our options were and helping us track down exactly what we wanted. Once again; no pressure - just patient assistance in finding what we were looking for in a a transparent and very helpful manner. This time around Jon was our Finance representative and just like the time before; he put together an excellent package for us that was exactly what we wanted - no pressure for anything we didn't want or need, but I did feel all of the benefits of the various options were excellently explained.
Everyone at the dealership has been excellent. We bring our first Subaru in for its regular service and the Service department always does an excellent job. The loaner program is seamless and very helpful. The staff at the front and other sales people are very helpful, helping to track down the car we were looking to test drive on this most recent stop in while we waiting for our sales agent to wrap up what he was working on. Throughout the process you feel like it is important to everyone there that your purchasing experience be as enjoyable as your new Subaru will be.
We love both of our Subarus and will be back to Mark Miller again for our future car service and purchase needs.

I went in for an oil change and they found a couple things wrong and fixed the items ,rotated my tires ,vacuum out the car washed it and while they were doing that I stopped in there little restaurant in the shop and they made me up a real eggs Benedict. who would’ve ever expected this at a car dealership. The first thing you see once you drive into this location are rows of shimmering cars. There are cars from Outbacks to WRX's available for sale. A little further into the car dealership, there is a repair shop for walk-ins and appointments. I've only come here to get my vehicle serviced, so my expertise is more about their service based on car repairs.
I've always had a quality time at Subaru Midtown, however, my recent experience with them is the reason why I prefer to come here to get my vehicle serviced. Before this incident, I believed this Subaru was a solid, unwavering 5 star business, however, after this incident, it is still 5 stars, but I would not say it is still unwavering or solid anymore. I hope to continue getting my vehicle serviced here and reinforcing my opinion that this Subaru does deserve its high rating.
I had a 2 year warranty for my 2016 Subaru Outback and during this time, I had window problems quickly fixed. The same problems came back, but my warranty was gone by then and there were no notes of my window problems being diagnosed or even present. This had left me with no proof of prior window problems to my car. The total repairs for my car would have cost me about $600 because of the lack of notes and proof in their history of servicing my vehicle. I was very upset and disappointed in them, but I just accepted the fact that there was nothing I could do about it and Rachel from Subaru Midtown tried to do all that she could to help me.
The wait for my car was about 9 hours, however, Subaru had given me a ride to school, so I was able to do more than just wait at their dealership. I got a text back from Rachel saying that my car was repaired and she had spoke to the service manager again, and they had my window problems covered by Goodwill and even took care of half of the battery cost for me (new problem that was found through a thorough check of my car). I was so grateful! She had helped me save $400. I can't thank her enough!
So, overall, after this whole fiasco, I was a little disappointed that they did not note the quick diagnosis they had on my window prior to this service appointment, however, they fixed the misunderstanding and made up for the whole mess with Goodwill. The employees try to do the best they can to help you in your situation, so the customer service is reliable. They always wash your car after they service your vehicle, so it comes back sparkling. The complimentary hot chocolate is delicious and snacking on popcorn is always a plus while waiting for your car. If a ride is needed anywhere, Subaru will give you a personal ride to the designated place. As an ending note, Mark Miller Subaru Midtown does their best to help in the situation that is given.

Had to call again cause the clear bra was not installed. Parts informed no work order had been received. Now that it is there for the installation, somehow a scratch was incurred on the front bumper, prior to license plate installation and since driving off the lot. Now being advised if the clear bra is installed without repair, would seal in the scratch. Now the repair is an added expense just to have the clear bra installed. In hindsight it should have been installed before driving off the lot.

I live up in Logan, and he was able to do most of the work for purchasing while I was here. I just had to sign a few papers when I went to go pick it up. Unfortunately, the car I bought was just issued a recall, but they gave me a brand new rental car in it's place. It took a lot longer than expected to get parts in, but I'm sure had they known, it would have been a different situation. The employees are great here. They take time to explain the vehicle issues, when they can be repaired and when it can wait, and offer discounts when available. The prices are not too extreme as dealerships historically are. They give you a loaner car for long repairs so you don't have to arrange rides to and from the mechanic. It's organized, they wash and vacuum your car, get you in fast and have a neat waiting room area.

I'd been hearing that there were good deals to be had during quarantine and reached out to Mark Miller Subaru Midtown about trading in my 15-year-old Subaru Legacy. Bob McCord reached out quickly and I was able to look through their huge collection of Outbacks and found more than a few that grabbed my attention. I made an appointment with Bob's associate Alex Kuhn and had a great experience. Everyone was observing appropriate social distancing practices (masks, 6 feet, etc) and my wife, three kids, and I were able to test drive with no pressure. We loved the car and decided to buy. Alex and the finance team were great every step of the way. I generally love the car-buying haggle that typically comes with the process but it was so refreshing not having to jump through those hoops (and what a time saver!). I'd recommend them to anyone.

I do have some beef with the purchased 2020 Forester however, it is advertised as having an average fuel consumption of 29 MPG for common city/highway driving, which is basically the type of driving I do. The in-car computer per trip usually winds up saying my average is around 27 MPG at fill up time, while my real MPG (miles driven / fuel consumed) at the pump winds up being closer to 24.5 - 25 MPG, which is well below all of the advertised fuel consumptions, especially for a combination of city and highway driving.
I feel a little cheated on that quoted MPG. If fuel consumption is an important factor for you I would recommend going with a different brand.

My experience was fine the sales guy was nice. However I wasn't happy about the fact that I walked in there with a preapproved loan from my credit union University Federal Credit union, and I told the sales guy this from the get-go and he kept trying to push me to do it through Subaru and I told them no, and the sales manager still ran my credit and even came out and apologized for doing this. Then I get a call the following week from the fiance guy, saying something about needing proof of income. why would he need any of that when I have been approved already with my credit union. He shouldn't be involved in any of that since I dealt with my bank directly. Anyways I feel something shady was going on. And i have no idea why it takes 3 hours to do a deal when you walk in with a preapproval. My whole point of doing that was to avoid the long process. 💁💁

Bought a used Chevy K1500 yesterday here. Whole experience was good and easy. Their offer on our trade in was fair and reasonable. As was the asking price on the truck. They also have a couple other customer perks that are rare, such as a cafe downstairs to get something to eat or drink while you wait. They are also pretty "green" it appears. With numerous "green", energy saving features throughout the site. I was impressed. We buy cars often, long story, but this was a good experience.

Most recently I needed to have some brake work done and was helped by Brad Swensen, who is very professional and focuses on your concerns despite how busy he may be. When there was some accidental damage to a bike rack on my vehicle, Brad was quick to notice and had it replaced within 48hrs. I really cannot emphasize enough how nice it is to have this level of service. When there are many other things to stress over, this makes all the difference. Things got weird for me when it came time to sign the paperwork and I was transferred to the finance department. This is where they tried to upsell me on certain protection plans which I did not appreciate because it felt sneaky and disingenuous. For some reason they can only accept a debit card down payment of $1k otherwise you need to pay with a check or pay a 3% fee (since they don't want to cover it). All paperwork was done on a dot matrix printer on carbon copy paper. I'm sorry, what year is it?! With the last car I purchased I filled out the paperwork on an iPad and everything was emailed to me and that was about 4 years ago.
I originally chose Mark Miller over other Subaru dealerships in the area because they have been so involved in the community. I loved the sales experience and how frictionless it was. My only hesitation for a full endorsement is the inconvenience that I experienced with the finance department.

I was excited to try pickup service with a loaner car. There was confusion with the pickup once my car was finished. I got a call on my home phone, when I wasn't home and I told the concierge who picked up my car to call my cell(not my home phone). I was assured I'd get a call and text. No text or call came on my cell that night. Luckily I do have a way to check my voicemail on my home number. I checked my messages only to find I had a v/m on my home number. I called and left the information that I was in salt lake at a different address for pickup. I got a call from the concierge as they were at the pickup address. No call ahead to let me know of a window of time. I was out running errands. I pulled in and luckily saw the concierge. I didn't have time to fill up the tank. So you can say the ball got dropped several times in pickup/drop off service you offer. I was even told by the 2nd concierge that he was going to merge my 2 profiles... I only have 1 profile. The pick up address the next day was a friends address, not my address. No one should ever assume that a new address needs to be added to a profile unless the customer requests it.

I have taken my 3year old Subaru Forester to the shop several times for various issues and the majority have been covered by warranty which the service dept already knew so there was no run around. The dealership has been wonderful in honoring their warranty. I did purchase my Subaru from this dealership. The sales people were amazing. I wasn't thrilled with the finance guy and all he tried to upsell, but I got through that part!

The staff seems pretty nice. Their waiting area was alright. Crowded and not really comfortable. The have a cafe which is interesting but only employees were using it. I would have loved coffee but I was not comfortable asking the ladies there and there wasn't a self serve station like the other Subaru rep I went to. Again though, staff is nice and the free inspection and car wash were nice. I'd say it was an average experience overall. I wouldn't recommend against it.

Came in for a Fuel Pump recall and a full sevice Oil Change for my 2019 Subaru Outback, I was told it could take most of the day so I scheduled a 7:45am Appt, I got right in, was given a full explanation of everything they were going to do , I was able to drop my car off and get a loaner within 10 mins, I then was called around 11:20 am saying everything was complete and come in to get my car, they did a full point inspection as well and nothing else was needed.
