My experience with Elmwood Dodge was exceptional. My car was purchased on May 17th 2021, and I've loved driving every mile since. There were two issues with the vehicle. One was discovered before signing the sales agreement (bad sunroof motor), and the second (air conditioner didn't work) was discovered right after signing the papers. Elmwood took care of both problems, and provided me a rental vehicle while in the shop at no cost to me. I think it's important to mention that once the papers are signed, ownership changes. They still fixed the air conditioning without question at NO CHARGE because I hadn't yet left the lot. The part that needed to be replaced was all the way in the back of the engine, and wasn't an easy job. I truly believe that had I purchased a pre owned vehicle elsewhere, that consideration to me as a client wouldn't have been as top notch. My interactions with sales, financing, and service were all professional, courteous, and friendly. I love my "Chaaaag" and hope nothing happens, but Elmwood would be my 1st choice for business if I ever need another vehicle.

Came from Connecticut because this dealership had so much inventory compared to what was available in Connecticut. Plus the prices were $5000 to $7000 less for the same exact vehicles and options. The salesman we worked with was top-notch and absolutely a pleasure to work with. The vehicle was completely detailed and ready to go by the time we finished with the paperwork. My wife and I are very happy with Elmwood dodge and all their sales staff. We got treated with the upmost respect, they took time with us throughout the entire buying process. I love that everyone there from the yard guy to the actually owner of the dealership treated us as if we were buying a brand new truck when in reality we were just buying a used truck. The entire process was handled quickly, without feeling like we are being rushed or less of a customer cause we were buying a used truck instead of a high end brand new vehicle. A couple days into having the truck I noticed a few minor issues. I called the service team, and a wonderful gentleman named cliff set me up with an appointment and a rental car. Not only did the fix the minor issues but they went above and beyond and noticed something I didn’t even noticed my self. They noticed my 9 inch radio was delaminating and wanted to replace it for me free of charge. We are beyond happy with Elmwood dodge. The service department gets 5 stars in all categories! Scott was courteous and very nice and kept me apprised of the timing of the service appointment. The service was completed in a timely manner, the waiting area was pleasant and clean, car was cleaned, and all the items I asked to be dealt with on my car were taken care of from the oil change, fuel injection, tire rotation, diagnosing and repairing a back soft top window to the wind shield being fixed by their glass sub who made a trip to the dealership per Scott’s request. All of this took place in a few hours so I didn’t have to make a return trip since I live over an hour away. Love Elmwood!

My last experience was a state inspection and, what I thought was going to be, a complimentary oil change. The wait was reasonable and the waiting room comfortable. However, after being told the offer for the oil change was no longer valid, one of the sales staff went above and beyond to secure the service for me at no cost. Unbeknownst to me at the time, when the shop says it closes at 5, they actually stop taking cars at 4. I walk-in maybe 10 min past 4 hoping to get an oil change and was told this news. However, the lovely female at the counter went back to check with the mechanics, who agreed to take my car. Legit 10 minutes later my car was done. That was the fastest oil change ever.

Let's face no one likes to take time out of their day to go get an oil change but when it's time and you can't wait any longer, I highly recommend Elmwood. The people are all great! I was first told the service center was open till 6pm. So arrived at 4:05pm for an oil change since “not appointment is needed”. I was then told “ we usually don’t take anyone for oil changed after 4pm” but that he would “fit me in”. While i appreciated it, I wish I would have known this in advance when I called to see what time they were open till…. Also, happy to fill out a survey but a call, e-mail, and now a text message asking me to fill out a survey is a little much.

He quickly made calls and called me back and said he had the part I needed and to bring the car in on a particular date. During the time that I bought my Jeep Overlander from him, he would routinely run to get things accomplished, so I wouldn't wait. My daddy, affectionately called "Sarge" by all at Elmwood, has bought many vehicles from this dealership. He encouraged other family members to do so as well and they have. My husband and I joined this happy circle as I Just drove home with my new Jeep this past Monday. I am in love with the comfort of this vehicle. The better part of my experience was with our salesman, Richard Miranda. He was very informative without being pushy and left behind the usual "salesman speak" that my husband and I have become accustomed to having to tolerate. The General Manager, Dennis, was down to earth, friendly and reasonable. Noel, the one that eventually puts those keys in your hand, made sure we understood all of our options, without trying to coerce us into all of them, which made us feel good about the ones we DID decide on, rather than leaving unsure if we really "needed that". Together, they helped us make a difficult decision (for us, as we always have found buying cars to be so stressful). They dealt with my fears and uneasiness at making a long term, expensive (because no matter the deal you get and we did, cars are just expensive!) payment. I feel safe in my Jeep Limited but more so, we feel like we have good, trustworthy people to call on, should we ever run into any issues down the road. We have found "our" dealership and will seek them out again, when it is time! I strongly encourage you to go and see for yourself, the only thing you have to lose is a great deal and comfort while making that deal!

After having. Routine oil change my car started leaking oil damaging my brand new garage floor. I returned to Elmwood Dodge the next day and my engine was dripping in oil. They are not sure what happened as the mechanic was not in that day. They think he may have overfilled. They cleaned the engine and checked the seals. They offered a car detail for my trouble. My previous car buying experience was not the best, to say the least, though I had a good Salesman, the rest of the experience was nothing but a headache. This time around it was all good! From Samantha's attentiveness and helpfulness when I began the process by inquiring online. To coming in and meeting with Damien, who was very level and down to earth, he wasn't pushy at all he was actually really chill and low key, which is what I myself aim for, and instead of just treating this like a business transaction, he took the time to actually build a relationship with me in the few hours I was at the dealership. It was all just very relaxed, which I appreciate more than I can actually express by typing it out. Noel was very helpful as well, especially in maintaining the relaxed vibe; even when the financing didn't look like it was gonna go exactly as I had hoped it would; he found me an option that worked for me. While searching for my new Jeep Grand Cherokee, I interacted with several dealerships in the state of Rhode Island. From my initial email interactions with James, to my walking through the door and finally out the door with my new vehicle, the entire experience was pleasant, professional, and fun! I worked with Nathan during negotiations and have to say he held his own. We worked together to come to an agreement on what we both wanted. I give him a lot of credit for hanging in there with me. Dennis was quite influential during the negotiation process as well. He heard me as a customer and did all that he could to seal the deal. I was shopping for a Jeep Wrangler and not quite sure if I was going to buy that day or just shop around. I pulled into the dealership and was greeted by one of the salesmen who was standing outside and had observed me pull in. His name was Marc Mercidieu. He took me into his office and began the sale, however, the sale was handed off to Sherman Jones in a very friendly and professional manner as it was the end of Marc's shift. Mr. Jones continued the sale all the way to the end. Both gentlemen handled the sale in the most superb manner, being always professional yet friendly. I didn't feel that I was at a dealership, I felt like I was visiting new-found family so to speak. They were upfront from when we stepped on the lot on a Sunday at 4:00 PM, and they just closed, but we were still greeted with a smile and Nathan made sure to invite us back, gave us his card and apologized. I drove from Boston down to Elmwood Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram since they had a Jeep Wrangler in stock that I was interested in. They were able to agree to a price that I could not get the largest Jeep dealer in the Boston area to agree to. At the same time, my salesman, Richard Miranda was pleasant and very easy to deal with. Richard also took the time to help me with some added things (soft top and trailer hitch) and was able to bring down the price on those too. The entire dealership is efficient as they needed to run to Mass for my plates but did that, added the hitch, installed the soft top and the Jeep was ready for pick up two days later. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I highly recommend them. I'll be back there as well.

I had a tricky electrical problem that was hard to find as it wouldn’t always do it when the Jeep was in the shop. Trying to squeeze over there when it did do it was tough due to the hours I work, so I took a video. The service rep and manager watched the video and were able to change the switches and get the Jeep back and so far it seems to be ok. It was essential to get it in now as the warranty was ending and they worked with us and their virus-adjusted schedule to get us in. They have always been very good to work with and I bring both Jeeps there regularly.

This dealership was the third one I’ve visited on the same day with the hopes of finding one that would work with me on the price for used Ford Fusion hybrid cars. The first two refused to even consider negotiation, so I was understandably afraid I would have the same problem here. These guys were fantastic! Long story short, my jeep needed a new engine and i was very frustrated because i did not want to drop $6,000 on a new engine that only has 92k miles on it. I was very hesitant to except the fact that my jeep already needed a new engine and i thought they were just trying to take advantage of me. They ended up going ABOVE AND BEYOND for me and fighting with the warranty company over a few weeks time and ended up replacing my engine for just a few hundred dollars. On 09/20, I went into Elmwood Jeep as I was in the market for a new 2017 Grand Cherokee and overall had the most incredible car buying experience.... What a professional, fantastic dealer as a whole with an extremely customer oriented team which made the whole experience quick and painless. I had initially started off sending an inquiry via the Web on 09/16 after a previous good experience my brother-in-law had when he purchased his Wrangler from Elmwood in 2012. Almost immediately heard from Jason Gilbault. He was professional, informative and extremely clear with pricing and rebate/incentive breakdown. He answered all my questions accurately and then followed up several days later to see if I had any questions. We subsequently setup an appointment for me to come in on 09/20 and I met with Dan Daily. Dan was great - he showed me the vehicle, we took a test drive and answered all my questions about the Jeep. Following the evaluation of my trade which came in exactly where I wanted it to - I proceeded to purchase the vehicle Vincent was quick with the paperwork and that day I drove home in my new Grand Cherokee. Overall, many dealers play games with pricing, incentives, and trade-in value (which I was very firm with what I wanted) - Elmwood was exactly the opposite. Everything was exactly as advertised, the team listened to my concerns, and frankly when the dreaded price negotiation time came and I told them what I wanted to pay they in a matter of minutes they came back with exactly what I asked for. There was no games/back and forth!!!! I actually sat there stunned for a moment as I had expected another response. An automatic update on the u-connect system malfunctioned. The malfunction kept the u-connect system on trying to update for hours while my wife was at work. When she got off work the battery was dead leaving her stranded at night in February. After a jump from our car insurance road side assistance our truck started but the u-connect system was dead. No radio, no GPS, no heat or defrosters. Elmwood had our truck for four weeks, never offering us a courtesy vehicle. Although the failure was covered by the warranty we had to purchase a new battery and pay for installation even though the failure is what killed our battery. I was disappointed with this particular incident.

Walking into any car dealership you always feel pressure. At first I was a little wearing, but I chose this dealership due to their low prices and they seemed fair online. So I went to Elmwood initially to take a test drive of a car that was a few years older with a good number of miles but one that I thought would fit my budget and needs. I was looking for a mid-size SUV and went to a couple of dealerships. I was honestly shocked by the lack of customer service and attention that was given to me. I was absolutely insulted at a Ford dealership, when the sales rep was basically insinuating that I couldn't afford the vehicle that I was inquiring about!! I had an amazing experience this weekend! We live in PA but we were visiting family in RI for Thanksgiving. My 2016 Chrysler 200 died on me. I called Elmwood and spoke with Scott. I explained that my car wouldn't start and I was trying to get home. He said he was busy and couldn't see me until Monday. I asked if I could just come in because we were stuck and he said ok. I got a jump and went to Scott. He plugged the car in and gave me a few options. He was able to take the car in and get it serviced, even calling frequently with updates. I ended up needing a new battery, which they replaced. I spoke to one of the mangers while I was waiting and he offered to give us a car to drive so we could go shopping and get around. I was beyond impressed and thankful for Scott and the team. What could've been a complete nightmare turned out to be a complete breeze. We made it home safely and the car is just fine. Thanks again!

So I was in the market for a new 2016 Dodge Durango. And even though I purchased four vehicles from Elmwood dodge in the past. I decided to go to a local dodge dealership first only because I live in West Hartford CT and Elmwood Dodge is located in Rhode Island which is close to a two hour ride. The staff at my local dealership (which will remain nameless) was not as friendly to start but the biggest reason why I decided not purchase my new vehicle there was that I could tell they were not worried about the customer but only the bottom line. I went in looking for the Rallye package and the Sales man continued to try and push the Citadel and R/T packages on me, which by the way are way more costly. I said thank you for your time and left. Once outside I called Dennis Freeman from Elmwood Dodge. I asked him about the Citadel and R/T package. (This is why I do business here) Dennis replied “Mr. Garcia while I would love to sell you a Citadel or R/T, from doing business with you in the past and knowing your family’s needs and a bit about your lifestyle, I can safely recommended the Rallye package for you”. I was dumbstruck as Dennis had no idea that’s the package I originally wanted. But it is this commitment to their customers and providing what we needed versus what best for the dealership that got me to jump in my car and drive two hours to purchase my new car. This extraordinary business experience didn’t stop there, once I arrived I was greeted by Richard Miranda who called out to me by name as if we were old friends. He assisted me in completing all the necessary paper work in a timely and very friendly but professional manner. My husband was driving a 4dr wrangler as his daily driver which he couldn't continue to do as it was extensively modified. Although it was very sad for us, he decided to try and trade it in. Not sure of what we would get I took it around to several dealerships one day while he was at work. Initially thinking we were going to trade up simply for a newer jeep, I hit a few Jeep dealerships unsatisfied with the customer service and experiences I received. He had the Jeep looked at right away and we were talking numbers within the hour. If the new vehicle wasn't for my husband I probably would have drove off in it that day! However, my husbands very busy work schedule is what sent me on the hunt in the first place. So, he looked at a few Jeeps and then a few trucks, but decided he really liked the RAM 1500 and we both agreed that was a smarter choice for our family at this time. Two days later, on Saturday, he took the RAM for a spin and just loved it. We talked numbers and stuff over the weekend and picked up his new truck Monday night!!! Dan and ALL the staff at Elmwood made this process amazingly fast and smooth I really don't think it could have gone any better. Could write a book...Bought a Town & Country in 2016, with a lot of options (including heated second row captains chairs). 3 years later, we get this flyer starting they want our T&C and we *could* get as much as $20,323 plus $6,182. Nope. Loaded with options, our T&C would only fetch $17K-$18K and no extra $6,182. In addition, we went to the salesman who sold us the previous van and were told it would be 30-45 minutes before he could see us (he was with another customer). About an hour and a half later, he finally got to us, just to tell us he couldn't get anywhere close to the number we were told we *could* get for our van. Won't be going back here. EDIT: Gave a star back after speaking with Dennis Freeman GM. He took my call immediately and apologized for the 'misunderstanding' about the ad and for the wasted 2 hours. Offered a couple of services as a gesture of good faith and it was appreciated.

I'll start off by saying that I initially went to Metro Jeep in Johnston and had an absolutely TERRIBLE experience there, which led me to Elmwood. I could not have been happier with the professionalism, courtesy, and most importantly, the transparency during the negotiations with James. Let me point out that I was looking high and low for an apparently rare Wrangler Unlimited Willy's Wheeler in Sunset orange. Now, mind you, Metro Jeep also ran a search and came across the same vehicle. Metro, however, told me straight out that they would not budge on the price of the Jeep. Elmwood came in with a substantial discount, even more so because of the rarity of the vehicle. I also had a trade that I knew should pull a trade value between $7k and $8,700. Metro offered me $6k and raised it to $7k when I told them I would sell it privately. Elmwood on the other hand, came in at $8k. No haggle, no need to try and negotiate. They gave it to me straight and I respect that tremendously, especially after seeing the games Metro was trying to pull. It should also be noted that James took a serious interest in me and my needs. I told him that this is my first Jeep at which point he proceeded to go over every little feature that came with this particular model. He then took me outside and showed me everything I needed to see with the Jeep first hand. He used a 2015 Rubicon instead because the models are very similar and even took the time to explain the differences. Needless to say, I signed the paperwork yesterday, they're going to CT to pick the Jeep up today, and I'll be driving it home tomorrow! Thank you James and thank you Elmwood!

This is the first time in a long time I have gone into a dealership to purchase a car. I had done business exclusively with one dealership from 1973 through 2009. However, since purchasing my last car in 2009 the dealership has retired and gone out of business leaving me wondering where to go. A friend, Morgan Chirico, started working at Elmwood Dodge recently and when she heard I needed a new car asked me to come to Elmwood Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. She had me speak with her boss Samantha Samagaio who said 'when you come in let me know'. On Saturday I went on line to see what used cars I might think about, and found a good looking 2017 Dodge Journey. Later that day, I stopped at Elmwood Dodge and asked if Samantha Samagaio was there, she came downstairs and introduced herself and we spoke for a bit. I told her what I had seen on line and that I just stopped by to see it. Sam introduced me to Richie Ruggiero...We talked for a while and I told him about the Dodge Journey I had seen on line, and told him I thought I was looking for a SUV. He showed me some new models, some late model Jeeps, and we discussed leasing vs buying, used vs new, sedan vs SUV. As we were walking back into the dealership I turned around and there was the Dodge Journey... It had just come back from a test drive. I looked it over - liked what I saw and Richie told me he would let me know if it had been sold. As I was driving home, Richie called and let me know it was still available... I called Monday and let Richie know I was very interested and asked if I would be able to take it for a ride on Tuesday and have my mechanic look it over. He said that wasn't a problem. So today, Tuesday, I went in at 10:30 am, took the car for a ride and to my mechanic who did a thorough look over and gave me the thumbs up! Went back to Elmwood and told Richie I wanted the Dodge Journey. I told Richie what I could afford walking out the door... Thanks to Benamino Sciarcon the numbers came together and we had a deal going. I had to get back to work but before I left I had the pleasure of meeting with Noel Tavarez. We started the financing paperwork and I went back to work promising to be back as soon as I got out of work at 4:30. I got back to the Elmwood Dodge and completed the paperwork with Noel, he kept the payments within my budget even when I wanted to add the price of a remote starter and extended warranty.. Richie took my lease car and gassed it up so I could just drop it off across the street, went with me to drop it off then drove me back to finish up everything. Everyone was helpful, happy doing their respective jobs and made this experience a GREAT one!!! I got into my new to me Dodge Journey and came home! The car will be going beck to Elmwood to have a remote starter put in and I cannot wait to go in and visit with all the new friends I have made this week! I have to say the reason I came to Elmwood Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is because Morgan Chirico is working there and asked me to come in... and the rest is history.
