My wife and I came in to check out the Rogue and was greeted by Calvin. He was very patient and answered our questions, then the test drive sealed the choice. As we made the deal on the car for her, I saw the Beast! The 2023 Titan in the desert sand tan, and I was hooked. My 2012 F-150 had been totaled in the storm on the 23rd of December and I was looking for the truck with the power to do what I need, and just not happy with the new Fords or Chevys. I bought the Titan 2 days later over the phone, and again Calvin just made the deal all the better. I have only purchased 1 NEW vehicle in my 55 years of driving, and this is my 2nd. Service after the sale extraordinaire, and I feel that we have a friend for life and the dealership truly lives up to its reputation as the best Nissan dealership in the West! Y'all Rock! Thanks for a truly satisfying experience.

I was here about a week ago. Everyone there was so nice and helpful. Went in knowing what I wanted and Russ was understanding and accommodating. No high sales no trying to talk me into more, just great customer service. Had to come back the next day because my own mess up. But the next day I called and talked to Dante, he was very helpful and did he best to make sure I could afford the car. After a few phone calls and kind words they were able to work with me to get a car! I will say one thing that stood out to me, when asking about why I was asking for a specific price, I said it was my own personal budget, Dante responded with, “I respect that.” No “well it’s just X amount more”, no “let’s find something else then” just “I’ll see what I can do I’ll call you back.”
That will always stand out to me. Hopefully the car last a long time but if I ever want or need another, I will definitely be going back here! Thank you to everyone there!

I’ve been in search of a new car for about a month now and have stopped by at this Nissan a few times trying to find which car I want and taking a look at their inventory. The staff here were really nice and helpful but I had a salesman by the name of Karrar talk to me a few times and I had an amazing experience at this dealership because of him. He was really helpful took his time to walk around and show me the inventory let me have a feel in the cars I was interested in. After a long search and not knowing what car I should go with he introduced me to the new Altimas and I think that is the car I’m going to go with!

Had a great experience here today. Had a problem with our truck that our local Nissan dealer couldn't remedy in over 3 years. In less than 4 hours Nissan of Portland took care of the problem. I needed a few minor things fixed on my Nissan Titan. Though it took a bit longer than expected it was the holidays plus an ice storm had just began, so no big deal.
What I was most impressed with was the receptionist at the service desk. Hailey was her name, she was remarkable at explaining what the mechanics needed to inform me of, both what they were doing and what to look for in the future. Ivan helped me buy my 2017 Leaf, and I was very happy with his help and attitude. I'd ask for him again. His sakes manager was also easy to work with and fair-minded. I love the car I got, and I received a reasonable price for my trade in. The whole process was fairly quick and easy, and mostly painless! But watch out for the Finance Manager, who might try to convince you with some pretty fast talking to buy extras you may not need or want, making it sound like a done deal. But hey, that's his job, I guess, so fair play.

Five Stars to Jake and Mathew and the entire team. We had such a smooth, No B.S. experience buying our new Nissan Sentra SR from Nissan of Portland. We live in OS Washington. Prior to coming down to Portland we went to 5 Nissan Dealers in Washington and had anywhere from mediocre to terrible experiences. My wife happened to call Nissan of Portland and spoke with Jake. 2 phone calls later, we started heading down to Portland. Everyone was sooo friendly and instead of a stressful experience, we actually had fun; weird right! I would highly recommend buying a Nissan from Jake and company at Nissan of Portland! We have had our Sentra SR for a month now and love, love, love it. I have owned 3 other Nissan Sentra's prior to this one and there is no comparison. This Sentra is VERY comfortable and VERY fun to drive. Wow, what an improvement from my previous Sentra's. The last one I owned was a 2012 SL and our son is still driving it today; 155K miles and no problems! The Nissan Sentra is a great car for a great price!!!!!

I took my car for service and found that the people in the service department were attentive and thorough in their assessments as well as over all service. My suv is back in tip top condition. The repair took a week; I was provided a loaner vehicle so the process was seamless. When i dropped off their vehicle hours later I discovered that my wallet was misplaced and after retracing my steps it lead me back to the dealership. By this time it was after hours and only a few of the sales team remained. The doors were locked and they could have just motioned that they were now closed and to come back once they reopen.
Instead they allowed me in and after I told them I left my wallet in the car Adam and another gentleman assisted in first locating the car (on a very large lot) and making sure it was in there. Then they had to call Emily from service to get the keys. The efforts of this amazing team made an already satisfied customer's day.

I no longer live in Portland but was here for a visit. My sister aloud me to use her car but it needed to be maintenance. So I went to visit my old friends at Rustom Nissan. A last, all my old friends were retired or on vacation. So my new friends told me to come in 8am for a walk in the next day and they'd get my sister's car taken care of. The next morning that car was taken care of in a timely manner and I was my sister's hero of a little brother.

I have been taking my car (Mr. Hanky) to the dealer since he was "born" in 2004, but yesterday they really went above and beyond for me, simply because I have been a great customer all these years. Took my car in for a regular oil change, and was told I needed a new battery. I asked for more information to confirm that I truly needed a new battery, and everything was explained to me very thoroughly and I even got the labor for the new battery waived.
I have previously gone to Nissan Beaverton where they recommended an absurd amount of new parts for my vehicle during my last oil change. I asked Nissan Portland about those same components, and they confirmed that those were parts were indeed showing wear, but unlike Nissan Beaverton, did not say that it was drastic and needed to be done ASAP.
Other than that, quick service, fast and easy, and nice waiting lounge to sit and do work. Will be returning in the future.

I went to another location and was super annoyed with the lack of information (about a car I knew I wanted), the finance manager trying to sell me a significantly more expensive version, being left to sit in the sales area for a long time while he talked to another guy, and the music was so bad. I went to Nissan of Portland the next day. Talked on the phone to the manager before coming and she told the exact inventory, price, details of closing, and had everything ready for me when I got there. She knew so much about the car when we test drove it. She taught me how to work all the new technology and had so many details. The whole sales process took about an hour start to finish and I was never left to wait. They explained everything, cleaned and charged the car and I was on my way. The follow up has also been awesome. Super attentive but no pressure to respond (I'm super busy and phone tag stresses me out). The whole thing couldn't have gone better and I'm so happy with my little red leaf.

More or less, everything went fine. Intake was smooth and I was notified just over an hour that my car was ready to be picked up. It did take a while for my car to be brought out front, (over 5 minutes) after I arrived.
I do wish that there would be additional touch-ups when your car is serviced (windows washed, floor vacuumed when applicable), but that's just me.

Scumbag dealership salesmen tactics. And I blame the manager on this one. Would rather pay 52k for a TRD Pro at beaverton Toyota which isn't doing these silly markups .
Don't waste your time with Nissan of Portland unless dealer markups are your thing. 3/5 because at least they called me and gave me a decent test drive. Still, not worth the 52k they earn when Toyota Tacomas hold their value much much better, and also Toyota Reliability.

My experience was THEE best experience I have ever received at a car lot!!!! I was able to talk to Dewey, Sale Manager and Dante, Sales Rep about what I wanted adn how much I wanted to spend.
We didn't waste time looking at cars that were out of my price range. That I really appreciated!!!! Dante worked with me through the process of picking, the application and even after I got the car, his customer service making sure I was okay with the purchase is unmatched.

#TeamNissan. I just bought my 4th Nissan, and 3rd Kicks. I ended up getting a 2021 Kicks Sports Rally. It's a truly amazing car. We had some slight hiccups along the way. The vehicle had some issues keeping a battery charge, as well as the front sensor and cruise control were off during the test drive. The most important thing, is that they were able to correct everything on the vehicle, and put me at a payment I was comfortable with. I am a long time Nissan fan, and have been dealing with this dealer for services and sales since I moved into town. A year and a half after purchasing the transmission broke down even though it was newer and only had 85k miles. Well I have to say it’s no wonder this dealership is growing and won so many awards for excellence. It started for me over 2 years ago when I moved to the area. I had a wiper problem on a Saturday and it was 5 mins before the service department closed. I called first and they said they would be waiting for me. I arrived it was pouring down rain and windy, they had me pull in and a service technician came right over to the car. He had the problem fixed and recommended new wiper blades and installed them while me and my family waited in car. It was the service that Emily provided that had me bring my Maxima, Rouge, Pathfinder and I have even brought my mom in and sales team same experience amazing she traded in her 5 Toyota that she has had for her very first Nissan and during the deal they found a way for my dream car the 40th Anniversary edition Maxima which I guess you already know where I am taking that for service. To sum it up, I have used other Nissan dealerships in the metro area and they have lost sight of the customer experience yet Portland Nissan they have earned my business.

I originally drove an hour to the dealership to look at a certified used vehicle. It was clear once I saw the car it wasn't going to work because of some cosmetic issues. They suggested another certified used vehicle which after a while of negotiations I ended up buying. When I drove home I noticed a large gouge in the sidewall of the tire, a deep scratch in the bumper and greasy fingerprints on the inside roof of the car, not sure how I didn't notice these things at the dealership but I didn't. I called and they told me to bring it back the next day and they would take care of it. They did and gave me a loaner while they were fixing everything. They ended up delivering my vehicle back to me and we switched cars back. It has now been a few days and I have discovered a burnt out brake light. I will fix this myself because I am not going to drive and hour just to have a brake light changed. I feel that when you buy and "certified" vehicle that these things should have been checked and verified beforehand. Overall I am happy with my purchase and the vehicle, I just felt in some areas there could be some improvement with attention to detail and being more thorough in their overall inspection.

Second time coming to the service desk at this location (second time at Nissan service, overall) and it was streamlined! I was very happy with my interaction. I wanted to double check my car was good to go for a 1800 mi trip. The manager Tim assured me I was squared away and answered all of my questions. He was very patient (I have no knowledge of cars) and thorough, going over every point of the inspection done with my oil change a month ago (same location) to tell me exactly how my car would be fine for the duration of the trip and wouldn’t need looking at until I returned. I went in expecting to wait a couple hours until my car could be checked out, but left within 20 minutes of getting there with a $7 bill for my fob battery replacement. Great bunch! Tim and Duke from Parts didn’t make me feel stupid for not having knowledge and made it very easy to understand. I will be returning for all my service needs!

Buying a car is stressful… I've been haunting the websites searching for a lease return that fit my needs. After watching for months and seeing a car I thought I'd like, get bought before I could get my self in there, I leapt on the next vehicle that fit.
After signing papers, I had some confusion over rates and then saw another car I thought I wanted instead. My sales contact and financier contact were both very helpful, and went beyond my expectations, working hard to ensure my selection was what I wanted. After reviewing the car I thought I'd prefer, I decided to stick with my first pick.
Dewey was on the spot with cars matched to my interests including getting a car expedited which had just arrived.
Ramin was very helpful reviewing the rates for optional items, and ensuring that other car I was considering would be held for me.
Jake made sure I had no remaining concerns or questions, and made sure the car I took home would be complete.
I'm happily driving a barely 2.5 yo car that looks like it's brand new. Their detail team is excellent, and I had the pleasure of getting rides with Tony, each time logistics demanded.

I came to Rustom to have the front hood latch on my 2018 Altima replaced following notification of a recall. This location is not conveniently located for me, therefore I won’t make a habit of using Ruston unless I need to for Nissan specific service or repairs, like in the case of the recalled latch.
It was busy, but staff was kind and helpful and got me out relatively quickly. There was a nice waiting area with access to a table and outlet where I could plug in my computer to work, however, I had trouble connecting to the guest WiFi, so I just ended up using my phone as a hotspot.

My son purchased his FIRST car at NOP last month. Due to mechanical/electrical issues we had to turn around back to the dealership. I was given a rental in the mean time. The service supervisor Emily went above and beyond in helping us to get the car repaired. She called me almost everyday to give me an update, heck she even calls me on her day off!!! Despite the delay, she assured us that the root cause of the problem will be fixed/replaced.

We needed to replace one of our cars, one that I liked very much, and wanted to see if we could get a like for like replacement. Nissan of Portland had the same model, same year (same color even!) on the lot. We went with a price in mind which was a bit less than what they were asking. Eugene gave us the test drive and was very friendly. We felt a little bad when our offer was low and it didn't look like they would agree to it. Eugene took good care of us and we know he's probably on commission or quota and felt bad ultimately wasting his time. He wasn't upset about it and stayed with us being chatty while his supervisor called the owner. Ultimately they met our top offer and we were very happy. I felt well taken care of, but yesterday realized just how well taken care of we were: when we did the test drive the tire on the spare was old and close to bald, by no means unusable but not confidence inspiring. Yesterday we got a flat and when I pulled out the spare there was a brand new tire on it. They never even mentioned that to us. I'm impressed! It's a little touch like that without acknowledgement that shows they mean it when they say they want the customer to be happy.

I am just wowed and grateful by the excellent customer service Nissan of Portland has shown towards my son and I. I especially want to say thank you to Emily in the service department. My so was having a transmission issue. We phoned Kieffer Nissan in Corvallis, and was told it would cost over $4,000 to fix, and that was that no further investigation or questions asked!. I then phoned Nissan of Portland and spoke with Emily. She asked for the last 8 digits of the VIN# and saw that the car still was under the Manufacture Warranty. We had the towed in on Monday and out by Friday. This was a HUGE relief for me and my son which recently graduated from OSU and to have car issue was preventing him from working shortly, but thanks to Emily and her wonderful service she made it happen nice, smooth & efficient my son is back working!!!. Courtney was very accommodating and professional. I work the night shift and she was able to fit my car into the schedule the very next day and first thing in the morning so I was able to go home and sleep before picking it up. She was also very considerate and waited to call me until after 2pm so as not to wake me up.
I wanted to go to Alan Webb Nissan since it was closer and I would have been able to use their shuttle service but after a week of calling them (twice a day) and leaving a message with an operator (they answered ONCE in a week!!) I never received a call back and was unable to make an appointment. They called me three days after I left a poor Yelp review (I had already had my car serviced with your dealership) to talk about it but I definitely won't be going there so I ignored the call.

In particular, on one occasion I thought the stereo system was broken, and your technician fixed it with a flip of the switch, whereas he could have conned me and claimed it was a major repair. Bought a 2017 LEAF recently (4/22/20) and they helped us get it delivered to Corvallis. Dewey, our salesperson, was extremely helpful, went out of his way for us. My only complaint was how long it took to do the final paperwork, only one other customer yet we sat there for over 1 hour waiting. Unfortunately this has become typical for car dealerships these days. If the industry does not solve this "check-out" problem they will drive customers to online sales.

I've been taking my vehicles in for Service since forever. Always excellent service. Especially Emily, Bob and Courtny! I had a Frontier that was within 1,000 miles of going out of the factory warranty. They proactively looked any outstanding issues and told me about a major known issue with the coolant system. They scheduled a service appt where they replaced the coolant system and portions of transmission that were affected by this defect - all paid for by the warranty. If I had waited 1,000 miles longer and ran into an issue, it would have cost me min $5k out of pocket to fix (and the system was well on its way to doing just that). Thank you for being proactive and saving me from a major headache!
Just recently purchased a new car from them. Carlos was our sales agent. He answered all our questions and we never felt pressured. Ben was our finance rep who went OUT OF HIS WAY to accommodate our purchase. And they gave us a great deal to boot. Highly recommended. The only advice I would offer is that if you are going to buy a new car, and don't want the Extended Warranty or Prepaid Service Plan, just tell them you are not interested up front - no worries.

Recently took my 05 Quest in for routine service (tune up/brakes/alignment), check on a couple of lights that were on and to check the drive train after recent repair with another company after hitting a curb and breaking the tie rod. I could not have been more pleased with this service!! They did all of the diagnostics we asked for, called back with a price and had it completely repaired and running perfectly the next day. Additionally, they didn't charge us for diagnostics or the rental we used during the 2 days that they had our vehicle. No nickel and diming here. I went to purchase a certified pre-owned Nissan Leaf at this dealership and worked with a great salesman named Brandon. After purchasing a 2015 Leaf, I drove it home and the first thing my wife noticed was that there was a very noticeable dent in the rear driver-side door. I was disappointed as I hadn't noticed the dent on the lot (the car hadn't been washed yet and I couldn't see the dent with it dirty.) I decided to take the car back and just see if they'd be willing to fix the dent, but I wasn't expecting the response I got. After telling them about the dent and another issue I was concerned about (it felt a little shaky like it needed an alignment also) they said, "Well, it sounds like you're not happy with your purchase. Would you like to just trade this one in for another car?" I was pleasantly surprised with their care toward my satisfaction as a customer! I was able to pick out a different 2015 model (one that I felt drove better and was cosmetically in better shape) and there was no extra charge. The salespeople I worked with were excellent and I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone wanting a Nissan!

I honestly don't have any issues or problems with the experience I had. Dexter got things going over the phone and was very helpful, but Alwynn took us on the test drive and walked us through the process. When it came to talking price (which is the part I dread), Al and Mike were patient and very straightforward; not a lot of back and forth with Al running to "the manager's office". Ramin actually made the financing paperwork an enjoyable experience; extremely nice man. When we picked the car up, the technicians had it in beautiful, detailed condition. It will never look that good again! Since EVs are new to us, Al took a lot of time to go through the car with us and explain the features, how it worked, and driving tips to maximize the range. It helped that he has been an EV owner for years and could speak from personal experience. Finally, I have had to call into Rustom on a few occasions to ask questions as they come up. I have probably talked with four different folks in sales and service. All were friendly, seemed glad I called, and were extremely helpful. Sorry for the lengthy review, but everyone at Rustom involved in the purchase of our Leaf hit it out of the park, and I wanted to make sure everyone felt appreciated. I recently took my new Titan XD to Rustom Nissan for service to figure out why with my check engine and airbag warning lights came on and stayed on. Although I was a new customer I did not have to wait long for an appointment. The engine warning issue was quickly diagnosed and fully resolved via replacement of a sensor. The airbag issue was more daunting but service worked with Nissan corporate staff and was able to correct the system defect to ensure my safety.
My service advisor Courtney was great about keeping me informed on mechanical issues and expected repair completion. The service staff did a great job and got my truck back to 100% factory specs. I will continue to use Rustom Nissan for any and all of my future vehicle maintenance and repair needs and unequivocally recommend them to anyone looking for a well qualified dealer service center.

My dissatisfaction is with the sales portion. We were paying in cash and while no credit check should have been necessary, we were given the speil about it being for identification purposes only. We had provided ID prior to this being done. When we raised concerns about hitting our credit reports, we were told "it won't be a hard pull so it won't show or affect your credit."
Imagine my surprise when I received a notice from my credit monitoring company that a new credit inquiry had been done. Yes, it is there. Physically done.
If you are paying cash, don't fall for this scam. It is not a "law" or anything else and the ID you provide should be enough.

Went there today with my wife and 2 young children looking for a van to buy. I walked around the lot for 30 min with my 4 year old son, passing 3 people who worked there. No one would acknowledge our existence. I finally got a sales persons attention and we talked for a little while. I made an offer on a van and he said he'd go and talk to his boss and see if they could accept the offer. He left me and my little family standing in the parking lot. After about 30 minutes of waiting around we headed home. After we got home I called the dealership and asked for the sales person. Some guy there, sounding put-out, took my name and number but the sales person never called back. (This was 4 hours ago) Usually sales people are extremely anxious to talk with their customers. I don't know who's training the guys there but they are rude and have lost my business.

Called the service department after having a horrible experience at another Nissan dealership in the area.
At the other dealership, I felt my concerns were ignored because I am a woman as they paid much more attention to anything my boyfriend said about my car, even though he has never driven my car and has no knowledge on how it handles. Finally I walked away from them. I mean, hellooo my car clunks when shifting out of park. There's an obvious problem!!
I sat in the parking lot at said other dealership and called Nissan of Portland's Service department. They immediately addressed my concerns, and fully listened to everything I had to say. They made me feel welcome, and even we're able to make me laugh on the phone.
Even though my car is less than 2 years old, and still under full warranty, they still insist on paying their inspection fee. It's only $100 but still, it's $100 that I'm not willing to spend. I have never known a dealership to charge an inspection fee for a warranty related issue, and I've bought a lot of new cars from dealerships.
If I wasn't already having issues with my still new Nissan, I would likely give the sales team a go as I am mildly looking for a new vehicle, but as this is the second Nissan I have had transmission issues with, I likely won't.
Thank you Nissan of Portland for making me feel welcome, but the service charge threw me off and left an indifferent taste in my mouth now.

This dealership is my favourite in town and always goes far above and beyond to take care of me. My first experience was after well over 2/3 of a year with a low tire pressure warning, which other mechanics and even the other Nissan dealership in the area could not figure out - but they were all happy to charge me for the "I don't know"s. Nissan of Portland found the problem and fixed it during a routine check up, without charging me hundreds of dollars for a simple screw-in-tire fix that no one else could find!
They continued to provide above and beyond when my Juke had a timing chain issue - which other mechanics told me to scrap the car over - and well over 6mo later, she's still running clean and happy. This dealership is always willing to take care of you, will find and fix problems at completely reasonable rates, and has been the absolute best experience with a dealership I've had since buying my car in Texas and driving her up to Oregon. You will not find better service at any other Nissan Dealer in Portland!!

I have been meaning to write this for a while. My beloved car died back in August of 2018. I decided I wanted a mini, I did not want a new car, and fortunately for me, I found a used Mini here.
I called the dealership, wanting more info on the Mini and ended up talking to Lance. Lance is a Mini owner and gave me great insight about Minis. Long story short, Lance helped me purchase my Mini and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.
However, that is not why I am giving five stars.
A week after purchasing my Mini, the clutch went out. The used car I just financed broke down 7 days after purchase!@%*%#!
Without hesitation, the Dealership gave me a loaner and had my clutch replaced. NO OTHER DEALERSHIP WOULD DO THAT FOR YOU. There were some hiccups and frustrations, but in the end, I was never without a vehicle and they did everything in their power to get me back on the road.
I have now had my Mini over 6 months and have had no issues.
From Lance, to the finance manager, to the Managers, to the service department, right on down to their customer relations manager who dealt with my frustrations, Rustom Nissan consistently provided five star customer service. 10/10 would recommend!

They were right on target with their price quote and they were able to get me in right after work and on the road in just over an hour so I didnt need a rental car. Good experience for an oil change- good price especially with a coupon or deal. My only issue was that I was told a nail was in a tire and that it was not repairable and that I'd have to buy a new tire. I have Les Schwab tires so I decided to go there instead- at les schwab they were able to patch the tire for free and I did NOT have to buy a new tire. I was disappointed in the advice give by Nissan, it felt dishonest.

We recently needed repair for my 92 yr old father's 1991 Nissan pickup. The repair was estimated to be very costly due to the parts involved. Nissan of Portland service worked with us and we were able to find less expensive refurbished parts which will meet our needs adequately. They kept the pickup in their shop while we ordered the parts, in all the process has taken two weeks, but we ended up with significant cost savings for my father. I don't know of any other shop that would have worked with us like this. I highly recommend the service department and would definitely use them again in the future.

Bought a used 2013 scion xd here. Tim was excellent and helped me find a great vehicle that was exactly within my budget. Financing was a hustle as they throw numbers quickly. I had to ask them to explain things clearly and told them all I wanted to pay was the sticker price, and nothing extra. Once this was made clear, they made the process very easy and stopped offering me additional services with the car.
Go here with a budget in mind, let them know what your budget is, and stick with it. They made the process of purchasing a car quick and easy.

On Sunday someone stole all my ID and keys to my car as well as the remote. I got AAA to pick up my car and didn't even tell the lot I was coming until we were halfway there. He's highly energetic, enthusiastic, exceedingly personable. I'd come back to Nissan for that reason alone (I think you ought to give him a raise (and I hope you'll let him see this)).
I'm not going to purchase a new car ANYWHERE or at ANY TIME in the future. I simply don't like the prospect of losing three to five thousand dollars' 'depreciation' the moment I drive off the lot and the car I've just purchased is suddenly a 'used' vehicle. (I can hardly think of a better reason NOT to buy a new car.)
(On balance, I'd a really quite bad experience buying a new vehicle from Rustom Toyota in the waning months of 2000, and I'd promised myself never to buy a 'Rustom' vehicle again. But when my friend George at the Halsey Street branch of Kaady's Appliances had pointed out 'Nissan of Portland' in his enterprise's back yard, I said I'd have a look (unaware that it was a 'Rustom' enterprise. I was glad George had done that. My experience thus far at 'Nissan of Portland' has been good enough to enable me to forget the prior bad experience.
I'll certainly be saying good things about 'Nissan' to friends in the future (hence the '7' response to the final inquiry here). But I'm a thoughtful man not given to responding impulsively; so I'm not going to respond with a '10' until I've had a little more experience here.
But I will say that absolutely everyone I've dealt with since first becoming acquainted with Nissan of Portland has impressed me more than favorably. Ferris Rustom clearly knows how to hire fine staff.

Sales people say service is their business but they have not met Kyle "Moder" Moderhak and his team at The Nissan Of Portland. Kyle is friendly, knowledgeable, kind and an overall good person. He didn't give us any attitude, knew we were shopping around, didn't pressure us and told us they had the best price and service. We kept him in the loop with offers from other dealers and he worked with us to get the 'right' price for the car. How do I know? I asked the other vendors to compete with Kyle's offer and they said, you can't do any better. It's nice to meet a sales person that tells you about ALL the incentives on the table and not have to ask.

My car is 7 years old. I have never had any issue with this car, and absolutely love it. I recently experienced a problem with response after I tried to accelerate from a stop. It was as if I had to hit a certain rpm in order for it to engage. I got right in the next morning. The CSR thought that it sounded like a transmission problem and looked it up in his book, yes Nissan had extended the warranty just in case, and I waited for them to diagnose the problem. They said they indeed thought that it was the transmission but they wanted to drive it to be sure. They gave me a brand new loaner, it was beautifully detailed and fun to drive. I felt very privileged to be taken care of so well. They had to keep my car and drive it to document to Nissan Corporate that it was indeed the transmission and it was replaced. I know what a huge expense a transmission is and to use a stinking brand new car as a loaner to boot! I am impressed with the conscientious and honorable behavior of Nissan. I love the product, the price, and the nature of the company. This is my first new car, And I have taken it in to this dealership for its regular maintenance and have always had great service here. They are prompt, there is no pressure tactics ever for anything. The CSRs are polite, cheerful informed and informative. They are always at the top of their game. They totally have my trust.
Did I say that there was no cost whatsoever, and when I picked up my car it had been washed and detailed ;)

We also worked with Kyle Moderhak on the lease of the 2013 Nissan Leaf. Kyle went way beyond the call of duty. He made sure that my wife had a test drive with which she was happy, he explained the features of the car and ran through the various screens and features of the Leaf. I called ahead of time and indicated what we wanted and he called me back when they had exactly that package. He stayed late because we were trying to close the deal after work on a Friday. Then he followed up with phone calls and emails to make sure that everything was going okay. The first scheduled service was also taken care of right on the spot. Knowledgeable, friendly and customer-oriented. That's a winning combination.

Best car buying experience to date. My husband and I went to check out the Nissan Xterra that he was pondering buying, and we went to Rustom because they had the [rare-ish] color in stock that he wanted, with the trim he wanted. Well, let's just say we ended up getting it. Not only that, but while all that was going down, he set his eyes on a Leaf and, well, we ended up getting me a new Leaf, too! :o Traded 2 Hyundais for 2 Nissans - nothing against Hyundai at all, but the current configuration is a bit more practical for our lifestyle. Our salesperson, John, goes highly recommended. He took the time to show us both cars in and out, and since I didn't bring my trade with me, he rode back with us to pick up my trade-in. They continued to be helpful during subsequent visits (to sign additional paperwork and get my husband's tow package and side steps installed). Barnaby, finance guy, also very nice person.

Let me start by saying that I have purchased well over 15 cars in my life and have had my share of poor experiences at dealerships.
My wife and I came into Nissan of Portland looking for a car to replace our Toyota that was recently totaled. This was our 4th place we visited. We were approached by the sales person Justin Brainerd and we were immediately surprised by his easy going and professional disposition.
He made it VERY easy to shop his selection of used vehicles and it was obvious that our needs were of his top priority. After a couple of test drives we found the car my wife fell in love with.
By far, this was the EASIEST, LEAST STRESSFUL car buying experience and I cant thank him enough for how well he treated our family. He has earned a customer for life and I encourage you to at least give him a shot.

Just getting ready to drive away in my new Nissan Rogue and I have to say that I have had an excellent experience. John Pazz intorduced me to the new features on the Rogue. I have had a Murano and love it but wanted to get into a smaller car. My interest was also with two of the Fords so I stopped across the street first to learn more. Well it turned out that I seemed to know more about the cars than the sales person. Just a little web research was all it tooke me but he was of very little help. Cross the stree to Nissan and John was professional and the furthest thing from pushy. He knew the cars very well and also showed me some changes under the hood then let me take it out for 3 hours to see if I liked the feel. It had the package I wanted and as a One to One member was able to get additional savings. So now writing a review while the ink on the paper dries and will drive away a very very happy customer thanks to John and Barnaby. Nissan of Portland, You Rock!!

I went to NOP after seeing a particular car on the internet, I was greeted by "Kiwi", a nice New Zealand guy and he got me a test drive within minutes. He answered a lot of questions and I felt like I was just hanging out, no weird high pressure sales pitch. I left the dealership and went to Tonkin just to be sure I wasn't impulse shopping or buying the very first thing I'd driven. My experience at Tonkin was the high pressure sales experience I was expecting and I didn't like it so I went back to NOP. Kiwi got me a finance plan that was better than my credit union's rate. He also set me up with a 3/36 bumper to bumper warranty on my used vehicle that you can sell back at a prorated rate!
As my first experience with buying a car off a lot, I'm pretty happy and no buyer's remorse at all. These guys are first class.
