Staff was pleasant and easy to work with. They are not the problem. Warning codes that are locked by car manufacturers like Honda, force car owners to not use local mechanics but to go to dealerships where large plush buildings and rich owners push the price for 6 spark plugs replacement to over $550 and a single tire sensor replacement to $200. Makes it hard to feel good about being a loyal Honda customer.

Great dealership with great people from Sales to Service. In a world of slippery car salespeople, there are a few that are real people who are honest and actually care about you. Ira Honda has one. His name is Ed (Kip). He is a straight shooter. We were looking for a new CR-V, discussed all the options, and Ed actually told us to wait on our purchase for a year or two because of the fact my wife wanted an interior that was not black and her current CR-V is in great shape. Astounding! We will absolutely be back to see Ed......only.

Had an unbelievably positive experience at Ira Honda Saco's service center last week. Every staff member I interacted with went absolutely above and beyond to assist me, and I was treated with the utmost respect, professionalism, and kindness. I can't thank them enough for all of the help they provided me. It was the absolute best customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Daniel G behind the counter was attentive, EXTREMELY professional, patient, and made me feel right at ease. As I was explaining the issue I was attempting to troubleshoot, one of the techs (Justin G) who was on his lunch break overheard my complaints and took it upon himself to come outside and begin troubleshooting the issue with me. I told him I could absolutely wait until he was done with his break, but he insisted upon helping me with the issue on his own personal time. That was a big deal to me, and showed a high level of professionalism. Though we weren't able to figure out the problem right away, Justin assured me that once they brought the vehicle in they would be able to figure out what the issue was. Daniel got my vehicle in extremely quickly, and a few minutes later I was talking with the shop foreman (Tom J) about the issue and the steps I had taken to troubleshoot. If Tom had simply showed me the sensor value I was asking for, I would have walked away satisfied with my experience, but he ended up going so far above and beyond that. Tom took the time with me to walk me through every single one of my questions. Some of my assumptions about the issue were incorrect, and he patiently explained exactly how he was able to rule some of those assumptions out. He explained all of the possible areas where the issue could be originating from, explained the steps that would be needed to troubleshoot the issue, and gave his own recommendations and observations. He didn't balk at any of my questions and left me feeling empowered with knowledge and confident in taking the next steps. It really cannot be overstated what an incredible experience this was for me. I went in having never been to Ira Honda before, and was treated as though I was a loyal life-long customer and friend of the shop. There was not one single moment where any employee showed anything other than complete professionalism, honesty, integrity, and kindness. Daniel G, Justin G, and Tom R, I seriously cannot thank you enough for all that you did for me. 10/10 absolutely EXEMPLARY service. These three amazing employees have earned Ira a customer for life, and I will continue to recommend Ira Honda to everyone I talk to going forward. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

After having the tires rotated on my Honda at Ira Honda in Saco the low pressure warning light came on while driving home. I thought it was just because of the tires being rotated. To be safe I checked the pressure in all four tires when I got home and found the pressure ranged between 25 and 28 psi, well below the mfgr’s recommended pressure. I would have thought adjusting the tire pressure would be part of the rotation service.

Allison Irish at Ira Honda qorked really hard for me. She got me into a very nice, clean new to me suv that I never would have thought I'd get into on my own! All the staff were friendly, helpful and didn't make you feel rushed, pushed into something you didn't want, or anything else that would make you otherwise uncomfortable- the things you'd deal with from other dealerships I should say. The process was pretty speedy comparatively and without a doubt the best dealership experience I've had! And I've gone through a few here in the state of Maine. Listen. I’ve purchased two of my cars from Ira Honda. Same salesman both times, and I’ve had my car service here exclusively through Alberto. He’s amazing, I could NOT think of someone more helpful. Anyways, my car started running weird today. It’s a 2020 with less than 15k miles on it. I had it serviced two weeks ago. I give the service department a call in hope to speak to Alberto. He’s not there, no big deal. The woman I was speaking to seemed very short with me because I had requested to speak to him. I asked when he’s in next so I could speak with him, he knows the history of my car and I’m just comfortable speaking with him. She lets me know when he’s in next, and before I could get “thank you for the help today” out of my mouth, she hung up on me. This service representative is a prime example of why I like to work with the same people. If service like this continues, I will most likely take my business elsewhere.

Wonderful staff: they know what they’re talking about and are able to break down issues/concepts to make them easy to understand without being condescending. I had a steady leak in my tire sidewall that I discovered Saturday afternoon, and panicked because I’m not from the area and I was supposed to drive about 4 hours back home on Sunday (when most service centers are closed). They were able to order AND pick up a comparable tire to what I had prior, put it on, rebalanced all my tires, washed my car, and made sure all my tires were in good shape. The whole thing took under two hours!! The price was great, everything was under $150 total. Thanks Brad for getting me back on the road so fast.

Push button ignition on my 2016 HRV went today (Saturday!). Called Ira Honda in Saco. Spoke to Brad in the service department who was careful not to promise they could squeeze me in on a busy Saturday, but boy did he over deliver! We could not get there right away because it took my husband awhile to get my car going again (tried to jump the battery and when that didn't work he put a trickle charger on it and it finally started, thank God). When we finally dropped the car off at Honda we discussed the possibility of having to pick it up on Monday, so we were thrilled to pieces when we got the call just a gew hours later saying that the car was ready!!! To top it off they not only did that warranty repair, but also installed a software update AND noticed that the car was due for an inspection sticker, so they did that too!! Can't say enough how happy we are with the service we got today!! Thanks again to Brad and the great service team!!!

Very bluntly, great people such as Tommy with his awesome pup Waffles and the lady in the cashier box. Forgive me, I don't recall hearing her name. And I will continue to go here, but wanting to charge me $470 for just front brake pads is obscene! Oil change is cheaper than elsewhere. Waiting room is comfortable... Still upset over the price for just doing one set of pads. I didn't ask for them to check everything and they said I asked for that on the paperwork, which is not true. I asked for my bulbs to be changed and my oil changed. I waited MULTIPLE HOURS. And I was tired. Just do what I ask. I worked with Alberto this time. I don't think I will work with him again. This was my 3rd or 4th visit to them...3rd.

When you go to a normal shop to get your car fixed customer service is polite at best rude and demeaning at worst. Here, the customer service reps were warm and helpful.

Ira (formally Prime) Honda in Saco has changed my perception of going to car dealerships for repairs and maintenance. I recently bought my first Honda, a high mileage Ridgeline, at a used car lot about a year ago. After purchasing it I bought it to Saco Honda to give it a once over. The Service provided by Alberto was prompt, friendly and very knowledgeable. I was able to schedule some needed maintenance, some preventative maintenance I personally wanted, and they found a few other small issues needing attention. Prices were reasonable for a dealership. When certain unforeseen issues arrived, they went above and beyond without myself asking. I typically judge a place on how they respond to issues, more than the issues themselves. They had extremely clear communication and made sure I was well taken care of. Since my initial service a have gone regularly for repairs, maintenance, and oil changes. I always get a friendly greeting by Alberto or Thomas. They remember me and my vehicle and usually know what I’m there for. They are always willing to take the time to answer any of my questions and make sure everything is satisfactory before I leave. They have never been pushy on services or potential needed repairs that they find. Never have they had any issue working around my schedule and work gets done promptly. Will definitely be bring by my wife’s recently purchased used Honda CRV as well. Thanks

To have my oil changed was a last-minute decision. I pulled into the service Garage and approached the service desk where Alberto was seated. He greeted me very happily, I requested an oil change and he said make yourself comfortable in the waiting area and we will call you in a few minutes. After walking around the showroom looking at the new cars outside looking at the used cars relaxing in the waiting area for a short of time, Alberto came to me and said you are all set. Service Dept is always so polite and helpful!! They're prices are also better than some other Honda dealerships in southern Maine. Even though they are 45 mins away it's worth the trip to have them service my vehicles with the important things! They diagnosed a problem with my car with minimal information since the problem is intermittent and wasn't presenting at the time I brought it in. They made sure to let me know they are confident they know what the issue is but that they're not 100% sure. In a scheduled routine maintenance appointment in this current situation, I was asked to pay for the services provided. Hesitantly I asked questions that went beyond the counter. Was it a difficult question for the front line? After a few minutes of people whispering I was escorted to cash out and okayed to leave. A good idea if I was an elderly or non confrontational person there might have been a different situation. We’ve been spending hours searching online for 2 weeks and several trips to multiple dealerships to actually see the cars in person. We knew exactly the make model and trim level we wanted as well as narrowed down to 2 colors we would buy. We negotiated and had an appointment to purchase locally but the night before our appointment we saw the dealer we were going to buy with had the car on Autotrader for $500 less than their “best possible price”. Irritated, I got up a few hours before our scheduled purchase appointment and expanded our search area further from home. We found Prime Honda in Saco had the exact same car and the first price they quoted was a savings of $1300 from the “best price” we had been able to get. I canceled the local appointment and we drove 2 1/2 hours one way to make the purchase. The entire process was simple, quick, and friendly. Our salesperson (Kendall...ask for him!) spent just enough time to make sure we understood the features of the car before we left and asked questions and LISTENED to our answers so there was absolutely zero sense of pressure to purchase add ons we didn’t want or need. Honestly the perfect car buying experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to shop with them again even though it means a full day on the road. Worth it.

With a family trip planned for the kids the worst news I could receive Friday afternoon was that my transmission might be leaking. Prime Saco literally got me in that night for a diagnostic and some fluid changes. The truck’s back the next day and with peace of mind the camping trip can happen. I dropped the car off Tuesday afternoon so it could be worked on Wednesday. I was called promptly Wednesday morning at 9:30am with the mechanical issues with my car. I was told parts wouldn’t be available to the next day and I should hear by noon. On Thursday I called at 2:30 and my car wasn’t ready and they wanted to keep it another day. I agreed as I didn’t have a choice if I wanted my repaired. On Wednesday morning I was told the cost would be in the $1,700 range. When I picked it up today (Friday), to my surprise it was another $200 more ($1,926.82). An extra $200 might not mean much to others, but it does to me as this is my sons car and he’s helping pay for it. And to top it off, they failed to reset the service light. It was an easy fix but after 3 days with my car, to now be late because I needed someone to reset a light. I wasn’t totally pleased. Everyone was friendly and I’m sure the work was done well. I wish the cost and timing were more clear from the beginning.

My story began in April of this year when I bought a used 2012 Chevy Cruze. Unfortunately after a couple of weeks I noticed transmission issues and brought it back to have it looked at and after trying a few different things it was determined that the trans mission was bad and needed to be replaced. Long story short, due to unforeseen difficulties outside of Prime Motors control my car was held up for an extended period of time. Again, these guy's took care of me through the whole journey making sure I had a loaner vehicle through the whole ordeal (even though I know they probably did not have to) to keeping me informed as to the progress of my repair situation. Very friendly and patient sales representative Olivier, so much so we came back after going to another garage. Update: Update: Thursday 23 January 2020, The car's windscreen wiper fluid did not come out from the first few days of using the car. I thought little of it brought some fluid from a garage on December 7, filled the tank up a couple of days later. The windscreen wiper fluid still did not come out. Had a friend look at it in January and he said there was no fluid in the tank. There must be a more complex problem it as I had filled it up and not used all the fluid. I took the car into the garage on the 23 January 2020 to find out the washer fluid hose had been chewed up hence the reason it wasn't working. $63 for diagnosis and $108 for the labor to replace the damaged section of the tube and wrap with rodent resistant tape. I did ask Olivier (Prime sales team member I brought the car from) if he could help cover the cost here but, after consulting his supervisor he said he couldn't due to 30 day guarantee/warranty. As a first car buyer, I was naive not to call the garage in the first 30 days, but having this not checked before the car was sold and it not working, followed by needing to pay $183.83 to have it fixed left a nasty taste in the mouth. Check everything and make sure to report it in the first 30 days in case of other oversights. Alberto in the service department was very courteous and helpful as was the mechanic who worked on the car and helped me with the handsfree link.

He walked me through the process of what to expect from my visit. He came to see me several times to see if I needed anything while I waited. He knew it would take longer than I expected to update so he educated me on how to do it at home. He even started the process with his own USB stick. If you want the best deal, great service that does not end when you drive away, buy from Prime, and ask for Hannah, you'll be glad you did. Courteous, very helpful and above all she knows her stuff! I've generally only dealt with Dennis(general sales manager), who is always great, but I highly recommend Hannah and the dealership in general. You really can't go wrong. My only regret is that I never sprung for the Resistall paint protection. I've had it before and should have done it this time. Great product. The jury’s still out with regard to how well the folks at Prime did in fixing my car, but in all fairness my car seems to have a lot of problems so I’m withholding final judgment until everything’s running the way it should, which “ain’t yet” as a wise man once said. I will say this: you’ll like the polite service department and knowledgeable auto techs. They know what they’re doing. Another plus is the courtesy shuttle, which drove me from Saco all the way to my home in Falmouth at no charge and then picked me up at my home when the car was ready and drove me back to the dealership. The driver was polite and sociable. The only trouble was the temperature; it was 80 degrees out and the vehicle’s air conditioning didn’t work. Not a very good thing from a public relations viewpoint. They really shouldn’t send a vehicle out like that. Makes you wonder why they choose to leave it that way. I have to bring my car back one more time to finish the repair. Hopefully we’ll have everything resolved by then and I’ll be on my way, one more happy customer who turned to Prime for their auto repair needs. So far, so good. As I told the service manager, “you get my car running right and I’ll buy you lunch”. At this point I have a feeling everything will turn out fine.

I was having issues with my car starting. I didn't know if it was the starter or something else. I contacted Prime Honda and asked if they could help me figure out what was happening. It turns out that it was just my battery. They replaced the battery and it solved the issue. I am not a mechanic. I would have replaced the starter and then everything until I found the issue. I was happy that they quickly diagnosed the issue, told me what was wrong and then fixed it.

I bought my car in October since that date I have brought my car back for service SIX time for the low tire pressure light going on EVERY time the tire pressure light was fine. I was so sick of service representatives asking me what I did to the tires. When I am there I am always asked to fill out the survey and less than excellent would be a reflection on the service representative. I went to Prime Honda when they 1st opened, hoping their service would be better than the center I'd been bringing my car to for several years. They were honest, quick, & fair. There was no attempt to find unnecessary problems (that weren't really there) or overcharge for labor/parts. On the contrary, their prices are super competitive, and they almost always have a coupon I can use! I assume this must leave them very busy, as others are likely impressed with the quality of their service. However, they always manage to get me in within 24-36 hours of when I call in need of an appt. I will continue to recommend their services to others!!!

I just purchased a used 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 from Richie and Joe at Prime Honda in Saco and I have to say, these guys are awesome! Extremely nice, always offered water + coffee (only place that did that and I went to at least 5 other dealers) and didn't pressure me to make any quick decisions. I am very satisfied with my purchase, when I went to sign paperwork I was in and out in a matter of minutes (approximately 45, not hours). Granted I had all my insurance information ready to go and the loan all squared away. If your looking for a vehicle, just stop by and look without any pressure to purchase. Highly recommend!

Luckily, they had the exact color and model we wanted on the lot. We spoke with someone around 11:00 am and by 6:00 that afternoon, our car was delivered to us in MA. Francesco Coletti was the sales rep that brought the car down, and it was a pleasure to work with him. He made the paperwork very easy for us, and then he walked me through all the features of our new car! He set up my phone, programmed my garage door opener, and showed me how everything worked. Just went in for a state inspection. It didn't take as long as I thought. Service people are always friendly and helpful. I was confused on the cost, was quoted $12.50, handed a invoice that said 12.50 plus tax then charged 18.50. I really could have gotten this done free at another garage. I actually thought this was a free service offered from Prime for buying a car. Since my car is not a brand new shiny dollar sign that was not the case. Service technician communicated to me my vehicle would not pass inspection because of bad tires. No problem with this except I was not even shown the wear bar that was bulging indicating the extreme wear on my tires and tried to sell me over priced, under rated tires. Poorly trained technicians trying to sell an over rated , over priced tire to an unsuspecting public. Too bad for a quality Honda to have to endure poorly trained individuals.

And the insurance company which was travelers tried to scam me and say my rates were higher due to accidents that were not even me or any vehicle driven by me. I was never told I could just carry over my insurance I had at that time and change it to full coverage . Don’t ever let them choose your insurance. It’s a scam so they get a bonus. The car I Love , the finance people were awesome . The salesman was just ok but the insurance was a scam. I canceled it right away and stayed with State Farm snd could not believe that the difference was half the $ and just better everything

As far as dealerships go, this one was great. I went to have s few recalls taken care of and they took the car as soon as I drove in, pointed me to a waiting area with different seating options. One place had clusters of chairs and coffee tables with a television on, and another had tables and chairs where people could read the paper. There was free coffee, bottled water, cookies and popcorn. The place was clean and service was efficient. Pleasant staff too.

I went in looking for a Jeep, I had no plans to buy a Mitsubishi but that’s what I left with and after being in this vehicle for almost 2 months I can say I am still happy with my purchase. The eclipse cross is on the smaller side of what I was looking for but as someone who lives an hour from work smaller is working out quite well & I easily now spend less than half of what I was in gas every week before brining home the Mitsu. Our daughter just brought her new car home from Prime. Dave and Francesco were so helpful in finding just the car she wanted. They helped to keep our secret as this was a birthday gift that we wanted to surprise her with. We really like our new Honda CRV SE that we purchased at Prime Honda in Saco. We were looking for an LX with a black interior, but were unable to find an exterior color that we liked. I walked in Prime Honda Saco after being referred to Jeff by my mom. I had a 2010 Nissan Versa that I was hoping to trade for a better deal. Buy your next car at PRIME HONDA in SACO and ask for HANNAH!! I had 3 months of car shopping until I went to Prime. Hannah was there to greet me and helped me every step of the way! The nice part of dealing with Hannah was no pressure and she listened to each of my requests. Even when I was not sure about the color of the car, Hannah did not push or make me feel obligated to buy. She just told me she knew car color was important so if I didn't like it we would go look at some other options in the area. I was turned off by the treatment of Honda Dover so I came by here instead. I was pleasantly surprised by their sales staff Kendall was great to deal with and helpful as I wasn't going to purchase for about a month. I would like to sincerely thank Prime Honda Service Manager, Ryan Cammarata, for standing behind their product & service to customers!! I purchased my first brand new vehicle, Honda Accord LX, with Prime last year. Actually, I’m leasing. The car had 40 miles on it! During my 15,000 mile oil change, tire rotation, wheel alignment & multi point inspection, the technician noticed brake vibration on the test drive. In driving the car I had also noticed this same vibration but didn’t think I could have brake issues this early. So, obviously this discovery concerned me greatly! I requested that they look into this further. After performing both a front & back brake inspection, it was discovered that I had warped rotors, abnormal wear on rear pads & that the surface of f & b rotors were heavily pitted. Ryan graciously approved replacement of front & rear brake pads & rotors at no charge!!! I was also “comped” the $30 brake inspection fee & I was also given a rental at no charge for the afternoon. I can only guess that with parts & labor I was spared, at the very least, $1000?! Thank you so much Ryan Cammarata & PRIME HONDA!👍
