I recently purchased my new vehicle at Ira Ford Saco, Kyle was my salesman and he was absolutely great through the entire process! So helpful and professional—Kyles your guy. Service department is what is making me not want to buy from this dealer again, I’ve had my car for 3 weeks (tomorrow) and been at the dealer at-least once a week if not twice since then for check engine light being on hours after I drove it off the lot, and now I’m being referred to GM to asset the issue but with no loaner car {yet, it’s been 4 days of finding one}. Again, Kyle in sales was truly amazing, but service has not been good.

Absolutely amazing services, I just recently bought a truck from here & me and my mom went together and we were treated very kindly, everything was explained very clearly and all my questions were answered & my concerns no longer became concerns, very reassuring. Personally would like to thank the salesman Joe for helping me & making the process fairly easy & also thank you very much to the financial manager John for all the help and making it very easy! Highly recommend even if you’re not looking for something brand new a great place to look into! Edit 2: So it started off great when I signed papers and everything. After my truck was sold to me I had no help from my sales man and he could care less about any of the problems with my vehicle. Now that I’ve had to return 3-4 times and I have to go back I will say the mechanics care a lot more then the salesperson. Definitely would keep that in mind if you’re going to buy a vehicle from here.

Getting a check engine light on a big RV, when you're 1,200 miles from home is never fun. Much to my surprise, these guys were equipped with all the right tools (including a lift that got our 34' Bounder off the ground, loaded with all our stuff) and able to get us onto the schedule very quickly. They were helpful and friendly, answered all of my questions, and kept all of our following vacation reservations on track. I just wish they were around the corner from where I live, so I could work with them more often.

We were passing through Orchard Beach when our F150 developed a metal on metal scraping noise. IRA Ford was able to see us immediately, they did a safety inspection and located a rusty heat shield that was making the noise. They were pleasant, thorough, quick, and reasonably priced. Great so far, besides my new truck has constant issues from day 1. And getting it settled hasn’t been easy and still on going. Not the dealers fault, Ford delivery a 1/2 lemon and doesn’t provide dealers with loaner vehicles when doing warranty repair.

EDIT: Finally 8/12 our service was completed in a timely fashion at no charge. Extremely disappointed in the service department. Friday July 29th I had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. They checked in the vehicle and knew we would be waiting. After 2 hours I inquired what was taking so long….several minutes later I was told my invoice was blown on the floor by a fan, so the tech just parked the truck out back instead of looking for the information. I did not have more time to wait so they said they would make it right by performing the service at no charge. The manager Sam called me later that day to set up a pick up at my house at 10:00 am 8/5. They had not shown up by 11:00. I called and left a voicemail for Sam…. Still no call back 2 hours later. Totally unimpressed.

We have worked with Ira Ford’s Service Department for many years. The Service Department is excellent. Always professional and very helpful. The car is fixed correctly and quickly. We dealt with a new Service Adviser, Mike, he was excellent. When we leave the dealership, we know the car has been fixed correctly. Ira Ford is a great place to buy a car. Michelle M. My service advisor Was awesome to deal with. Listened to all my concerns I had with my vehicle and scheduled an appointment. When arriving at the drive in service department I was greeted with respect and pointed in the right direction. Michelle had my information in the computer verifying the issues of concern, then came out to my vehicle to confirm what they were. Very efficient. I was on my way in 10 minutes. Service representative put plastic on the driver side for protecting the interior. Michelle kept me informed as the status of my multiple concerns. When picking up my vehicle all my paper work was done. She explained what the technicians did as well as going through my chargers. Paid my invoice and I was on my way. It was a painless experience as all my issues were addressed satisfactory, as I waited a few days to make sure this, before I did this post. Nice service department. The shop was very clean and organized. Prime Ford keep up the good work.

I went to Prime Ford for a check engine light problem with my Fusion. I originally booked the appointment with Rebekah and she was very helpful over the phone and had quickly given me a date of my choice. My service at Prime Ford was absolutely amazing! I was on vacation when at some point I ran over a nail which caused a flat tire. I made an appointment using the online website. Within the time I noticed my flat tire, to walking out of the dealership with a fixed tire was less than 3 hours. When I arrived at the dealership, I pulled right in and they identified my appointment, I told them what was wrong and they went to work right away. While in the waiting room a very nice salesman and I had a great conversation about the Mustang Mach-e (my car) and how it was performing which has been great. He indicated that it was good to speak to someone that had owned one for awhile because you don’t often hear back from customers. He also told me about the EV chargers they had and that I could use them to charge up if I needed to do so. I was able to use my Ford Pass points (I think that’s what they are called) for the service. My family and I made it back home from our vacation (a little over 500 miles away) and the tire has been great in my first week back to work. The employees that I ran into at the Prime Ford in Saco are top notch and could not have been any nicer! Great experience! Since we vacation there every once and awhile, I will be sure to keep them in mind while traveling in the area.

Bought my first truck with them this week. They did not try to upsell or anything else. They asked me what I was looking for,what I could do without, had me test drive- and got me out the door in just two hours. Easiest buying experience ever! Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable. Went back to have a bad liner installed. There was an inventory issue which they handled skillfully. They communicated every step of the process, and ended getting me out the door with just an additional 15 minutes. Michelle and the service center folks were great! 10 stars!

Prime Ford has been such an amazing dealership to work with. Most notably Rebekah in the service department. She has been a tremendous help and has been really great to work with! I’ve taken my truck in several times for routine maintenance and repairs and she has always gone above and beyond to make sure I’m taken care of. Most recently, I was having an issue with my truck making an unusual noise, the service team was not able to replicate the issue on their own but Rebekah invited me back to the dealership to go over the problem I was experiencing with one of the service members, Mike, who worked with me to identify the problem. After we replicated the noise, they worked fast to diagnose and locate the issue and fix it, now my truck is running like new! I’m beyond happy with my visit! I’ve had 3 Ford vehicles and have been to several dealerships for purchases and service over the past 10+ years, this has by far been the best service I’ve experienced. I’ll be sure to continue using them for all my maintenance, repairs, and (hopefully in the near future) new vehicle purchases from now on! I wouldn’t take my truck anywhere else! I brought my vehicle in for Oil change and tire rotation and I must say I was impressed with the service. I got in about 20 minutes early and no problem, they took me right in. The whole process took about an hour and that's pretty much what I was expecting. In addition to the oil change and tire rotation, the tech also performed a complementary multi-point safety inspection. This complementary service is really great, it not only gave me a full report on my vehicle, but it also gave me peace of mind. Btw... my vehicle is not a Ford, it's a Mitsubishi. Thank you Shawn, for an outstanding customer service! Now, why a 4 and not a 5 star? I noticed that the tech did not reset the service reminder on my vehicle. So now I have to drive it with the wrench 🔧still showing on my dashboard. It's not only annoying, but it can also be distracting. One other thing that's been on my mind since purchasing this vehicle from this dealership, is why THE WORKS (price for oil change and tire rotation) only applies to Ford vehicles and not all vehicles purchased here.

My car broke down and that was very stressful. I work with a service rep named Michelle. She was very good kept me informed as to how the repair was going. Found me a loaner so I no longer needed to beg for rides. Michelle answered any and all questions I had about what was happening. She let me know as soon as I could get my car. Then when another problem came up post repair she got my car in and repaired same day. Actually the service dept. sent someone to pick up the car and bring it back after it was fixed. Michelle was the highlight of the whole affair. I was frustrated to get the car back after a engine replacement and then the air conditioner wasn't working. The problem was taken care right away and is fixed but it was just the point. Then also I question having to pay a $671.00 bill for what they tried to repair when the engine was the problem and was replaced. Other than that I was pleased with all that happened.

They figured out what was wrong with my Vehicle , fix it fast and “DIDNT “ try to aggressively sell Me things I didn’t need or play games with Diagnosing my vehicle. There was a mix a up WITH a diff type coolant needed for My car that did cost more. When I addressed the issue SEAN/Shawn at the service dept. Right away fixed the issue and resided my price. Very very professional. Dealerships typically do charge More But GOOD QUALITY WORK done right the first time IS WORTH a few more bucks.

Prime Ford diagnosed the problem with my Ford Focus and made the repair. I originally thought I had a clogged fuel filter as my car was bogging down while trying to accelerate through the gears. The problem ended up being a frayed wire harness that needed to be replaced. I was confused as to why a car with less than 55k on it would encounter this problem. That seemed to be beyond the realm of “normal wear and tear”. I didn’t buy the car at Prime so I didn’t push the issue. The staff was otherwise great - excellent customer service and accommodations. The staff is professional and friendly.

There were no gimmicks or hidden fees and you could tell the staff were all good people to work with. Financing department was also fair to me and I was given a competitive market APR, on par with my home bank. The pricing they gave was fair - in line with True Car's estimation - and there was no high pressure tactics on the extended warranties and other stuff (still offered, just no pressure). I received the answers several hours later via phone call. Don't send me a text stating that texting is a viable form of communication if attention is not paid to incoming questions via text. Went to Prime Ford in Saco yesterday in hopes of purchasing my first car. I found a 2009 Hyundai Accent that met nearly all of my needs, but it was a little over my budget. Michael and the rest of the Prime team worked with the bank to get me approval for the larger loan, and I walked out last night with my new (well, new to me!) vehicle. The staff and all accommodations at the dealership were wonderful -- my family that came with me certainly kept themselves entertained with the table hockey game. The only thing that I would change, again, a minor detail, is the fact that it was a 6.5 hour trip to the dealership. There was a lot of back and forth with the bank and Michael P. kept me updated on what was going on, but it was just a long process. Other than that, my experience was awesome!

Overall I've had good experience with Prime, bought 2 trucks, 2 sets of $1100 tires, and numerous maint costs in 5 years. Stacey in Service is always very good, always does her best. But now I'm done due to lack of customer appreciation. Bought a brand new F-150 in 2014 and I guess I should've paid more attention as I find out 2 1/2 years later, I don't have a space tire changing kit. You can guess the only way you find this out is when you actually need the equipment to fix a flat. Later I went to auto store and bought everything I could, but they don't sell the rod piece you need to lower the spare tire from under the truck. Dealer item they told me. Hmmm, I didn't think it would be a big deal, just get a rod when I'm in for routine service at Prime, after all, I never had one to begin with. Well it wasn't enough their original negligence left me stranded having to hitchhike into town and find someone with a Ford kit (a bit odd at 50 years old) to then get a ride back to my vehicle and change the tire. They had to charge me $150 for the rod! Imagine. I've literally spent thousands at their dealership and they have to charge me for a rod I'm sure they grabbed from 1 of the 200 trucks on the lot. So I even asked again - really, I have to pay for it? Service Manager says, well it's been 3 years, I can't give you one now, how did you make it 3 years? Hmmm, let's see....I didn't have a flat tire. Oh and just a note, the $150 "kit" as they called it was only the 3-piece rod, it didn't include the portable jack piece that also comes with every truck, but thank goodness I'd already bought one at the auto store for $25, God knows what that would've cost me at Prime! So lesson learned for next vehicle purchase - always take note of the given extras, cuz it'll cost you if you don't. But now I'll always have that special rod piece as I'm not turning it in with the vehicle. I should probably tape my receipt to it.

We dropped our van off with Ms. Drummey on Monday the 19th. It needed a new key fob. At the same time we picked up a rental from them. At the end of the day we got a call that the key fob was going to take one more day then originally planned as it is a specialty one. She then says we can keep the rental at no extra cost. Very impressed by her customer service I leave my van with her while awaiting the fob. I get another call that my van has safety issues on it. They inspected the van without my permission!! Ms. Drummey sends me a detailed report. Very impressive but I'm not sold so I call my normal mechanic in NH. He goes over everything and agrees that everything is indeed on the up and up so I tell them to go ahead with the repairs minus the $55 lightbulb which I can screw in myself for free! They agree and say I can have the rental until Friday the 23rd when the van is done being worked on. Again, very impressive to I agree to the $1700 price and wait for my van. Friday is now here and I get a call that they found that the control arm and knuckle are also bad in the wheel bearing and they cannot finish it until Monday!! I don't have until Monday and they knew that from the get go as my son starts school in NH on Monday. What Jesse, the one who called me, says next literally brought me to the floor!! That control arm and knuckle is going to cost me an additional $3,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I lost it completely at that point!!! Jesse insisted the new $4,700 price tag is correct and that I'm wrong!! He also insisted that I'm trying to pay only $1,000 for the job!! I repeated 4 or 5 times the quoted price of $1700 and yet he insisted I was saying $1,000!! Extremely rude and accusatory. I send him a copy of my $1,700 quote via email and then I call my own mechanic back in NH. He verifies to me that a Control Arm and Knuckle would be well under $500!! Nowhere near the $3,000 price tag quoted by Jesse!! The only reason they are getting a 3 star is because I called them out on this and they are now doing a price match to my mechanic and giving the rental to me for free. Otherwise this would have been a 1 star rating.

Adviser was very good, answered all my questions, made sure that i was satisfied with answers. However am very disappointed and dissatisfied with the service provided by the technician. Obviously he did not do his job, although he filled out the paperwork signifying that he had. The next day i was left stranded when the car would not start. Checking the battery showed very corroded terminal and a cracked, leaking battery. Didn't happen overnight and obviously not checked by the technician who indicated on the checklist that I was given that the battery was fine.

I have to say that I am pretty frustrated with Prime Ford in Saco. I bought a used car from them 4 weeks ago and have been chasing different issues with my car around since my purchase. Some of my issues were taken care of, but my main issue now is as follows. I took my $25,000 car on a trip to RI 2 weeks after I bought it to realized 1/4 of the way there that I have air conditioning that works for 10 minutes and then turns off. That weekend was high 80's and we were sweating in my car. I also realized on that trip that the cruise control was not working at all. Last Monday the 28th I took it in to see what was wrong, and they realized I needed some sort of sensors for both issues. I called 2 times to check on my ordered parts and was told on the 2nd call that they were in. Why couldn't they call me when they came in? Now they transferred me to service - and the first available appointment they have is August 14th?? I have to wait 10 DAYS to have my 2 issues fixed? It's the middle of summer and I have to wait 10 DAYS to get air conditioning to last more than 10 minutes in my $25,000 car??? To say the least, I am quit a bit pissed off. To me spending $25,000 on a car, whether used or not, is a huge amount of money to me. I needed to say my peace here because I can't honestly say I would refer any of my friends to Prime Ford in Saco. Elisa Laplume (Jordan is my daughter).

I was so excited to get my new red Ford Focus! But, within a week of driving it I realized that it had a problem. Apparently the 2014 Focus has a "2nd generation clutch", which is a manual clutch. It drags and bucks and pulls whenever it is changing gears - from a total stop to around a corner ! I have requested a new clutch a number of times at Prime Ford, but been given the go around. Seems they have no intention of installing a new clutch because Ford will not pay for it. I am trying everything I can to remedy this situation, but it seems like I am not being heard! Very disturbing!
