Listen man, I drove out of state eager & hoping all would end well, a beautiful happy ending is what we got for our family! KWAME, MR. KWAME, he is the man you should be asking for when you are ready to go forward & settle down to get a car. The whole staff in general was nothing but kind, caring, concerned. If 1 way didn't work, they tried their best to find as many options as they can. Kwame was the best salesperson I've ever met man. He immediately took action got a hot spot & kicked up our cars battery to the way it needed to be. He is a lifesaver & a angel 😇 Bless his soul, we will never forget him or this dealership. Even later on in the future if we want to buy another car, man we will most definitely look for this dealership again for that moment. I first came across Danis Auto online while looking for an upgraded Acura RDX. They had the model with the options I wanted in their inventory online. The dealership is about 45 minutes away from my house so I decided to go up on a Saturday and test drive the Acura. My credit is excellent and I planned on putting half the car’s price down in cash. I met with the salesman Maurice, who I had spoken with on the phone earlier that day. When I got there, I introduced myself and told Maurice about my interest in the car. He got to work filling out my credit application before anything else. I thought it was strange that he needed 3 pay stubs in addition to running my actual credit score (which again is excellent). I have bought cars at a Ford dealership and Acura dealership in the past, and to the best of my recollection, I never had to provide pay stubs to secure financing given my credit score. After the paperwork was filed, I went out and saw the Acura. Much to my disappointment, it had cosmetic flaws that I noticed right off the bat that were not visible from the pictures on the website (interior scratches, exterior scratches, and misaligned bumper). The test drive went well; the car ran smooth. I went inside and I talked with the manager George about the condition of the car. He offered me 500$ off the price. I declined and said I would prefer if he were responsible to fix all the cosmetic damages. He agreed and we signed a promissory note. Now, my issue is, why was the car on the lot with these clear and obvious cosmetic faults in the first place? This wasn’t a cheaper or older car being sold as is, this was a 2015 -$24,000 Acura they were selling with 35k miles on it. It was marketed as in pristine condition online, but it’s disappointing to drive 45 minutes into the city and feel somewhat hoodwinked by the actual condition of the car in person. The bigger issue here is quality control. If you’re planning on buying a used car from Danis, you must go see it in person and be critical of the condition. To his credit, George offered to make the situation right, which I appreciated. It took the dealership until the following Thursday to fix the cosmetic defects we had agreed on in the promissory note. I will say they did a satisfactory job and I was fine with the work they completed. However, once I got the car home and had it for only 1 day, I noticed 2 other small defects. 1.) The front passenger side turn signal light bulb was dead, and 2.) after I popped the hood, I noticed the hood latch clip that holds the rod inside the hood was missing and my latch had fallen and was flailing around inside the hood. Now, both of these are cheap and easy fixes, probably cost me about 20$ and 20 minutes of my time, but again, when you spend $24k on a car, you’d expect these types of defects to be a non-issue. Now perhaps it’s my fault for not noticing these issues during the test drive, but I’m not a mechanic and buying a car is a long process so it’s tough to worry about every little detail. You would hope the dealership would have a level of quality control on the cars to catch these types of issues before they are purchased or test driven (especially because test driving with a broken turn signal light is illegal). The last notable issue I had was, when I went to pick up the car 5 days later after Danis had completed the work on it, I was handed 1 car key. They did not have a spare key. An Acura proximity car keys cost 400$ at the dealership to buy and have programmed. Now this is another expense I will have to incur. Again, when you buy a car for $24k, you’d expect to at least have 2 keys (every car I have ever purchased has come with at least 2 car keys). Pros: Friendly staff, good financing options, they try and make situations that are incorrect right Cons: Quality control issues, misrepresentation of cars online vs in person, 1 car key given and no spare. I would buy from Danis again, but make sure everything for your car is right before you purchase and walk out. That is my honest opinion.

I’ve had my car going on two months now. And everything is going well. Absolutely no issues. I absolutely love my car. The dealership appearance was very clean, neat, orderly & welcoming. I came in to see if I could get approved with no credit history & I was denied. I ended up needing a co-signer. So if you have bad or no credit history you will not be approved. My sales guy Marcel was amazing from start to finish. He made the process less stressful and he was super informative and patient. He even did a follow up call. Marcel was the realist as they can come! So definitely ask for him. My car only came with one key and they were kind enough to have a copy made for me (on their tab). I also left with a car fresh car wash & a full tank of gas . So yes this place is amazing. I want to start by saying that any experience I’ve had buying cars has been extremely long and painful. You always have to prepare for whatever games the dealership is going to spin you. I was looking for several months for a new SUV, and was unsuccessful in finding something I truly loved. I’m a nurse so I never had the right amount of time to go on these car hunts. My boyfriend and I were in the area and he told me he was going to take me to Danis Auto on Harrison Ave , because they may have something I like there, and that he had a great experience when he went with a friend. I didn’t see the car I was looking for on the lot initially. Marcel (who was great) came right out within an appropriate time (not pushy at all) and was extremely attentive to what I was looking for. He was professional and made the car buying process not only easy, but enjoyable/fun. I have always been used to going to big top notch dealerships so going to a small one on the corner was different for me, but I’m so glad I did it. He was honest with me up front about everything, there were no games being played that I’m typically used to dealing with at dealerships. He was nice enough to be patient along with Moustafa while my boyfriend ran back home to get MY car to do my trade in.
