Purchased a car I found online. Shawn was very helpful, and not pushy at all. I really enjoyed not dealing with that portion of car buying. I can't say the experience went without hardships. Although I left there feeling I didn't have the experience I had invisioned, I will say this: I was angry after buying the car and felt trust had been broken. Typically emotions take over on one side or the other or both sides.(when things turn out like this) Shawn and I continued to communicate through this process. I truly feel he and Sam are trying to do the best they could, given the circumstances, and there was simply a breakdown in communication in the beginning. I don't feel they are malicious in any of their dealings and truly want the buyer to walk away feeling satisfied. Shawn always looks you in the eye and I would encourage anyone who is buying from them to keep lines of communication open with them... they seem willing to help you within the boundaries of continuing to run a business. This place is amazing!!! Went in on Saturday, with little expectations on getting a car. My credit is horrible only been on my job little over a month and even had a repo on my list. I talked to Shawn he told me what he needed from me and told me to come back with it on Monday and he would work with me!! I came back Monday expecting the run around and to leave without my car. I was wrong he really worked with me and I even drove off with the car I wanted didn't even have to pay a high down and not getting stuck with high finance charge or high monthly payments. I would recommend anyone to Shawn and the staff at auto market. When I bought a vehicle from them a cpl years ago I had no idea what would happen over the next cpl years. I was injured at work and laid off, through all of this all I had to was call Shawn and he was ready and willing to work with me in any way he could while still running a business through it all I was able to keep the vehicle for my family and have paid it off. I believe this would have never happened at any other dealership.the car is still running like a dream and I would recommend the guys at auto market to anyone looking for a good car.

Drove 5 hours to see advertised vehicle (GMC Acadia), have never driven that far for a car, but it was a pretty seamless transaction. As I have only had the vehicle for one day cannot really elaborate on quality, but so far so good. I can at least say that the advertising matched the vehicle and I don't regret the decision. Drove 350 miles home and the ride was very nice and smooth.

Courteous and Professional - No Funny Business Here I was looking for a car for my daughter. I had only been looking for a couple of weeks, but I was disappointed in the availability of good clean vehicles in my price range, $7000 - $9000. It is really hard to find good CLEAN used cars. If you've ever been car searching, you'll know that the photos posted online ALWAYS look better than the cars do in person. The last used car I bought, it was so bad, I had to take the seats and carpeting out so it could be thoroughly cleaned. Also, I was fed up with shady used car salesmen. I looked at 4-5 cars and made reasonable offers (well within market value), but when it came time to seal the deal, they all were adding unreasonable fees and costs. I saw a VW Tiguan at Auto Market. I contacted Shawn to make sure the car was still available before I went out of my way to go there. Once I arrived, Shawn greeted me and took me to the car. The pictures looked good online (of course), but when I saw the car in person, I wasn't disappointed in the least. Shawn told me that they clean and detail all of their cars before they put them up for sale. I've seen "detailed" cars at other lots that have horribly stained seats, headliners, carpets, and panels. Auto Market details their cars to look as close to new as possible. I took the car for a test drive; and when I got back, I parked it and spent quite awhile looking it over inside and out. Shawn never interrupted while I was looking it over, and wasn't hounding me with questions or pressuring me about how this would be my last chance to get a car quite like this one or other baloney.... you know the drill. Once I was done, we had a brief discussion about the car and made a reasonable deal within a couple of minutes. When was the last time you were able to buy a car without hassles in less than 45 min from the time you first arrived at the dealership, took the test drive, and signed the paperwork? The thing that really impressed me was that Shawn was not pushy in the least, very polite and very very professional. The next time I am in need of a good clean used vehicle; Auto Mart will be my FIRST stop!!! Thanks Shawn for the great experience.

I just bought a 2006 nissan murano for my wife, Shawn helped us and he did a great job. We ended up financing through their in house lending because I am in the middle of a refinance and didn't want any hard inquiries on my credit report. I feel pretty good about the deal I got but I'm still unsure if the company is going to debit my account automatically for the payments (which I would prefer) I can't imagine having to drive up there every month to make the payments, that would be very inconvenient. I would recommend this dealer to a friend and would buy from them again.

5/3/19 Update: After nearly two months of the car being broke down, they agreed to pay $1500 towards rebuilding the transmission that increased my monthly payment by $50. Mechanic stated that the transmission had been damaged long before I purchased it, the cost of the rebuild was $1950, which puts me out of pocket $450 for the repair, guess it's better than paying all $1950 up front. Not 100% happy because I have to pay for the two months that the car wasn't operable and I'm still paying for the repair. Was asked to update or remove my review before they would pay the $1500 to the mechanic, so I updated it. 4/14/19 Update: I spoke with Shawn over the phone at the end of March, they told me they would buy a new transmission and stick me with the cost to pay at the end of the note if I could provide proof that a certified mechanic would install it. I faxed the information to them the same day and have not received a response, I have attempted to call 23 times since the last time I spoke with them and every time it goes to voicemail. As it sits right now, I have had the car for 48 days, I was only able to drive it for 15. The car has sat in my driveway for THIRTY THREE DAYS! I made a down payment and my first payment UP FRONT for what I was assured was a reliable car. Every call with the company has been a battle where they refuse to accept responsibility for selling junk cars, they shift the blame to you. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM YOU WILL REGRET IT! THEY HAVE SCAMMED ME FOR OVER $2000 DOLLARS. 3/22/19 Update: on Monday 3/18 Shawn called me after seeing my review asked what he could do to make it right, I told him the only acceptable option was to get me a replacement transmission with a written warranty at no cost to me and I would have a mechanic I trusted put it in. He stated I would receive a call the next day. Here it is 4 days, two voicemails, and no returned calls later and I’m still without a vehicle I have invested a ton of money in. Transmission went out 15 days after purchase. I called the dealership to get the information on my warranty, at first the person I spoke with tried to claim that I did not have a warranty. After I got upset he finally "found the paperwork". Then I voiced my displeasure about the car, where the person I spoke with made the statement "is it my fault or your fault that the transmission went out?" the "gps tracker" they installed fell down while I was driving, after looking up where it was "mounted" it was electrical taped to a harness. there must have been a check engine light on before i purchased it, because after the transmission went out, the scanner showed that the codes had been reset at the exact mileage i purchased the vehicle, so that seems awfully suspcious. and the warranty? It's not worth anything, the brochure is very vague, but the actual contract in literal small print will tell you "preexisting conditions are not covered" and makes it very difficult to cancel, after i was assured "if you don't want the warranty, you can call them and they will cancel it for you". in the fine print, it also states that any money paid toward the contract will go to the dealership, not you. in short: i'm stuck paying 300/month for the next 30 months for a car that requires a $4600 fix after paying $2000 down and my first month up front.
