I am very pleased with my experience purchasing a used vehicle from NJ Used Cars Center. The sales staff was phenomenal. Our sales associate, Yasser, was incredibly professional and courteous at all times. He responded to all of our inquiries in a timely manner and kept us informed about the status of the vehicle during our decision-making process. He was never pushy or overbearing, despite the fact that we made multiple trips to the dealership to examine and drive tbe vehicle we selected prior to purchasing. He stood by patiently as my husband scanned the vehicle's computer for codes and other indications of hidden trouble, checked the oil, examined the engine, crawled under and checked the undercarriage, questioned the results of prior maintenance and more. He never tried to rush us or to suggest that we were doing "too much" for such a moderately priced vehicle. He is a man of his word, who ensured that the original sales price we found online was honored, notwithstanding the higher "windshild" price or the fact that the sales price was increased prior to our purchase, on the very website from which we obtained the original price. He provided his notes documenting our prior visits to the general manager, thereby confirming the price at the time of our initial visit and that price was honored. Remarkably, Yasser's impeccable customer service did not terminate with the close of the sale. After the sale, he took the time to track down and resolve an issue surrounding a delay in the receipt of my title. After calling the dealership's main number repeatedly to inquire about my delayed title, I spoke to Yasser on the 4th business day following my purchase and shared my concerns about the missed deadlines for delivery of the title. I asked him to determine the cause for the delay and to get back to me. Within two hours, he resolved whatever issue was causing the delay and texted me a copy of my title with a message indicating that it was available for pick up. We were able to pick it up that day. That is the level of customer service that all purchasers deserve. Despite its size and location, this dealership is on par with (and, on many aspects, may surpass) the service offered by larger and fancier dealerships. My modest purchase was treated as if it were as important as the sale of the most expensive car on the lot. That is priceless. On top of that, the car that we purchased is exactly as represented. We checked the vehicle thoroughly before our purchase because it seemed too good to be true. Despite our best efforts to identify a hidden flaw, the vehicle is perfect. It is evident that it was well-loved by the one prior owner and it is in excellent condition both externally and where it counts (under the hood). It has a clean title, a thorough service history and the miles were accurately represented. I would not hesitate to recommend Yasser and this dealership to anyone in search of a quality vehicle and excellent customer service.
