When I inquired about the vehicle the sales representative Meeza reach out immediately. I went in person and what I like the most is that she showed me the WRX which is the car I was interested. She showed me a base and premium model. She hanged back as I took my time looking at both cars. Wasn’t rushing me to get the sale which I thought was most important. She went beyond to get me the best deal and is very patient as I called my wife multiple times to let her know the details about the car. I ended up purchasing the 2022 Premium WRX and Meeza took her time showing me all the details and features about the car. I am very great full for her she was an amazing sales person. So please ppl go see Meeza she’s the freaking best. When it came time to sign paperwork for car we ended up with the sweeties person Maureen. Let me tell you she was freaking awesome though I didn’t take the insurance she offer for certain things about the car. She was truly amazing and went over all the paper about the car. I could not have asked for a better experience at Koeppel. I hope it is a while before I need a new or used automobile, but when I do, Richard at Koeppel will be my first call. A few details: I had a very narrow window of time to purchase a car. I had never purchased a new car. I spoke by phone and email with Richard in sales and Maureen in finance and a few other helpful staff members. I spent a total of about 90 minutes at the dealership in two visits over 3 days and came away with the car I always wanted. A fast, safe and raised outback wilderness in white. I triple bid the financing terms and Koeppel had the best rates without hidden fees. I knew what I wanted (a new hard-to-get car at MSRP with competitive financing), what I did not want (sales BS or people wasting my time), and I told this to Richard who 100% delivered. I would also add if what you want is a knowledgeable team to carefully walk you through everything, how the cars work, what they recommend etc.. it seemed they would be happy to also do that. The team at Koeppel was clear, honest, low-pressure and deeply knowledgeable. Thanks!

Wow. I have no words. The level of service, the experience, and the deal and extras I got for my new Crosstrek was AMAZING. Meeza was the BEST. After several years of riding in a barely functioning, should-not-be-street-legal, 13+ year old Nissan Maxima that finally decided to give out in traffic, I decided to do some research for a new ride. Something that swims, flies, and teleports. I found nothing with those features, BUT, after about a week of weighing my options, reading reviews, and asking owners of several car makes in my parking garage, I ultimately decided to go with a Subaru. A little back story — I’ve never considered a Subaru in the past, so to initially be set on getting a sporty new Lexus, to thinking about an Audi, and perhaps just deciding to yolo it all and go with a Tesla (decided against this after feedback from Tesla owners regarding the range drop-off during cold weather), the farmers markets of the world aligned and pointed towards a Subaru Outback. It had everything I wanted: all wheel drive, great in the snow, good for taking a road less traveled, spacious, great mpg, a sunroof, leather seats, premium audio, and most importantly, after many years of living without one — a working air conditioner. I test drove a Subaru Outback, and the point of contact was Raju. From the very start, I knew this person was very special. This was not your ordinary, “let me talk to my manager” *talks into the void* kind of salesman – he genuinely put the customer first. He showed me the stand-out features of the car, took me on a test drive, and worked with me to make sure I left Koeppel Subaru as happy as a rat finding a giant pizza slice on the street. After agreeing to the deal, I was told to come back to pick up the car and set up payment on a specific day. Raju opened a line of communication where it was possible to contact him via text or phone at any time with any questions or concerns. He made sure that everything was ready upon pick up, and was extremely responsive throughout the process, from start to finish, and even post-purchase. At the end of the day, it was a true pleasure working with Raju, and the entire experience was smooth because of that. Shout out to the sales department, and the team I’ve been communicating with recently at service. The peace of mind of having a vehicle that will last a long time without any issues *knock on potentially fake wood trim* is fantastic, but it definitely helps having a team of people who are seemingly on your side and and want to make sure you’re happy well after the investment of a new automobile. Sales is great--very professional and not pushy. My car is great. However, finance was rude and tried to sell me an extended warranty over and over, even after I firmly declined. Now, almost two years later, the dealership is STILL trying to scam me with an extended warranty by mail and email, very persistently. Their cars must have a lot of problems if they think I need an extended warranty that badly!

Let me regale you with you my tale of woe with a happy ending. I should also mention that I have never left a review for anything ever; however, the service and trust that Raju built with us prompted me to do so. During the pandemic car buying has become an unmitigated disaster fraught with ill will and deception. I went to whereluxurymeets initially and drove 3 hrs from Pennsylvania to get there to check out a car, they did not call me to tell me it had been sold and when I got there my situation received no sympathy and the snake oil salesmen tried to sell me lemons. I then began my search anew with very strict criteria and found a car that seemed too good to be true at koeppel subaru (a Honda pilot) I reached out to their office (friendly and wonderful staff) and was connected to Raju who immediately gained my trust over the phone despite my significant reservations with used car salesmen given my previous interactions. He was upfront and honest, easy to work with and was friendly. If I would need to buy a car again I would do it with the koeppel subaru team again, no question.

It took a little while to get this review in, my husband and I were having too much fun with our new 2021 Subaru 😊, that we purchased at the end of August. Our experience from the start was great and that’s saying a lot given my attitude about car dealers and dealerships going in. Our sales professional was Sergey and he was awesome, from the start he was patient, straight forward and knowledgeable and never pushy or overbearing. Sergey took us step by step through the whole process, answered all of our questions and was always responsive to my many emails.. and there were ALOT of emails, while we were waiting for our vehicle to come in. Remember this is a finance office so you are offered extras here and she’s excellent at her job, but still professional, pleasant and personable. My prior finance office experiences were not nearly as pleasant. I went to Koeppel Subaru to purchase my first car. I started my research online and then went to their sales lot and met with Raju who directed me to the car I was interested in and also discussed options for other vehicles with me. Raju was extremely knowledgeable and very honest with us. I found the conversation to be honest, asking about the add one packages and protection plans - if they were worthwhile etc. and Raju gave me an honest and direct expectation with each choice. After some traditional car sales negotiation I was able to walk out that day with a steal on a wonderful certified Subaru Forester. I then returned to finalize the deal and sign all the necessary documents. I checked in with Raju and was set to meet Maureen who walked me through the fine details of the selected additions such as rim/tire protection, the certified pre-owned warranty (which is awesome) the mechanical coverage plan and funny enough the Xzilon which I laughed at originally but it really is worth it! The stain resistance on the interior and exterior is exceeding my expectations. Maureen is an ace, she made everything clear and transparent and worked furthermore to help me out with getting the best deal we could. I had already done a lot of research on the Impreza, but it was Ben who convinced me to go with the Sport once he showed it to me and answered my lingering questions. In the end, Benjamin made me an offer that no other Subaru dealership in the tri-state area could beat. I finalized most of the paperwork with him via email, which was super easy and convenient. The day I picked up the car, Benjamin showed me some of the key features in the car, and sent me a few YouTube tutorials to demonstrate the lane-change assist and other tech on the car. I know that if I have any questions, I can go to him without worry. I also worked with Maureen on the finance paperwork, she was great too! Very personable and knowledgeable, she really helped me to get the best deal that I could without pressuring me. Overall, I would recommend Koeppel Subaru, or any of their other dealerships, to anyone in the market for a new car. Covid specific - the showroom was very clean, hand sanitizer was available, everyone wore a mask, and the cars in the showroom were wiped down and disinfected after each person touched them.

We decided to write a review because there is no better way to thank Andy Carlson and Maureen for their professional service and amazing help. Koeppel Subaru gave me a good deal without a lot of drama. I was ready to negotiate, but it wasn’t necessary. I walked into the showroom with numbers from the Costco Auto Program and from the Consumer Reports car buying service. Koeppel beat Costco by $200 and met or matched the CR car prices for Subaru dealers throughout NYC. The sales rep, William Wenzel, is a straight shooter, a nice guy, patient and a good communicator. He made it very easy to seal the deal, and he responded quickly to emails, texts and phone calls. Finally, no one loves car finance, but Maureen, in the finance office, is a pro and will work with you to strike a deal that works. This is my second Forester, and because I had a great Koeppel experience the first time around, and also like the service department, it made perfect sense to return for the new model.

I really cannot say enough good things about Koeppel Subaru. I recently purchased a 2020 Outback XT Onyx Edition in late December, 2020. This is not my first Subaru, and I have sworn by their capabilities and driving performance. Since I had to spend the holidays alone because of not wanting to travel, I decided to do something for myself as a way of “therapy” to make things a little “brighter”. First; my salesperson, Benjamin Atwell, couldn’t have been more attentive, and expertly thoroughly communicative with me about the specific hurdles that I faced, since my credit had taken quite a dip as a result of my work shutting down, due to the coronavirus, in March, 2020. He worked for days with the finance department, trying to get me the best financing that I could get. He also kept me fully informed of the processes as they were happening. He called when he said he would, and he and the finance department really did do all that they could to help me drive away with a BEAUTIFUL Outback XT. From my initial visit, Benjamin Atwell and I had great conversations, and we talked Subarus and Art, High School and Hobbies. We easily could have been friends talking over coffee. On the day I went in to sign my financing papers, there was a bit of a wait, but it didn’t seem like a wait at all. I could feel how much they were wanting to help me, and wanting me to continue my love for Subarus. I strongly suggest going to Benjamin if you are considering buying. A very knowledgeable and talented individual, who treated me like a friend. Every staff member in Koeppel Subaru is very considerate, and welcoming, as I was always considerately acknowledged, even by staff who weren’t even involved in my deal. Last, I have used their Service department for my previous Subarus, and their Service facility is a very impressive work space. This was my first experience buying a car and a used car and it couldn't have been easier. We first met with Raju Miah with our budget and list of wants for a recent Forester or Outback. We also had the added challenge of finding a car that my 6'8" husband could fit in. The first day Raju had us sit in different years/models and get a sense of what would work for my husband. He was also fantastic about staying within our parameters and letting me know minimum cost to get certain features/mileage. He didn't try to pressure or upsell me, he listened and made good suggestions. And that's why two months later when we were ready to buy, we came back to Raju. I had a terrific experience working with Sergei at Koeppel Subaru. They didn’t have the color of the car I wanted and Sergei offered to order it to me. I had to wait for a few weeks but anytime I contacted him he was very responsive and pleasant. He is very knowledgeable and competent of his work. He will easily explain you the technical differences and will give you a great advice. We spoke on the phone and I didn’t have to go there until my car arrived. I should say I’ve got a very nice discount. I never liked the entire process at the dealership where you have to sit and wait for hours and everybody seems super busy and running around the place and not being helpful at all. It is nothing like that at Koeppel Subaru. Staff is very friendly, organized, professional and helpful. It didn’t take me more than 2 hours to get all of the paperwork done. Maureen helped me to get a good APR and have been very explanative about all of the papers I had to sign. Sergei was nice enough to show me how to connect my phone to the car through Bluetooth, explained how is everything working and I left the place happy with the complimentary all-weather rubber mats and full tank of gas:)

I had an amazing experience at Koeppel Subaru when I was buying my CPO Forester. The staff was extremely nice, especially Jordan at the CPO office and Jose (both managers) and Angel. They are very courteous and professional. They happily answer any questions you have. The whole process was very transparent. When I first saw the car, Jordan gave me on paper what the "out-of-the-door" cost is. I did not pay even a dollar more than that amount. The price was already reasonable, so I didn't negotiate much. They promptly returned my holding deposit and the little amount of over-payment my bank made. They did not try to upsell their financing options when I told I have a pre-approval from my bank. Jose mentioned to me about the Extended Warranty Coverage, but did not upsell it when I said I couldn't afford to buy it at that time. A few issues came up when they were trying to do my registration due my temporary visitor status, but they were very patient and explained to me exactly what I needed to do. Overall, I think Koeppel Subaru is an excellent dealership as far as the purchasing experience goes. I won't be living in this area for too long to see if their maintenance service is equally good, but I'm guessing it will be as good as this experience. Bottom line - If you are looking for a Subaru around NYC, this is the place you must go!

The entire process, from completing the financing, discussing the extended warranty (great price) to going over the features of the new car was extremely timely. Benjamin Altwell at Koeppel Subaru is who you should see if buying a new car. This was our next to last stop and we were fortunate to have Mr. Altwell as our salesman. He walked us through our choice, an Outback Limited XT. No pressure, no double talk, and he understood that this was a lot of money to us, and we wanted to make sure we were making the right choice. Benjamin was was upfront and explained every stage of the process. There were no surprises, no bait and switch, no rush, and he made us feel as if we were buying 10 cars. When it came to compare pricing between dealers, he made sure we had all the information to make an informed decision. This kid was great, a total gentleman. Getting a new car should be a happy experience, but I have never looked forward to it. I'd rather have the cliche 'root canal' than negotiate price with a car dealer. Some dealerships act as if they're doing you a favor if you by the car from them. This wasn't the case at Koeppel Subaru, Our choice to buy a 2020 Outback was based solely on Subaru's great reputation, buying it at Koeppel, and from Benjamin was the right move.

All three were patient, accommodating, and supportive. We had our puppy there the whole time and they treated him like a star! Within the first minute if our phone conversation it felt like we had been friends for years. ( I know weird right!!!!) (and had a lot.Lol) Overall the dealership was well managed, the staff was friendly and there was no confusion. My lease deal was structured the very same way it was done on a lease calculator on their website , so at least felt like they weren't adding any additional cost. Koeppel subaru is top notch. I love my new forester 2018. It really feels like a luxury car, even though it's not. My only advice for people reading this long review is, subaru does not have a Maintenance program like toyota care. It will cost extra to maintain your lease but I think its worth having Subaru service your vehicle then some other mechanic. Thanks Koeppel.

I have to admit that this is my first review in months (maybe years?) because I mostly read reviews than write :) But me and my husband were buying a car (our first (!) car purchase together), so it's kind of a big deal. We couldn't thank enough the people at the Subaru Dealership for their patience and professionalism and...patience again!! On our first day we spent 4 hours with a Sales representative Benjamin; he was so patient and helpful, was showing us new cars and used cars, again new cars and again used cars. At the moments when I hated ourselves for being so annoying with so many questions and for indecisiveness , Benjamin always smiled and took us to see another car. We left that evening with a pre-selected car, which at the end we changed again Lol Then followed the week for Subaru's financial Guru Maureen to get us a good financing deal from the bank! Hard to say how grateful we are to Maureen, she was working with us late nights in person and early mornings on the phone. We had a very unique situation, my husband was registered in State of Florida, so they had to go over some extra steps to get us registered here in NYC. I'm not sure until now that I inderstood all the magic Maureen performed with the bank, but the deal we got was amazing! Cut the story short - we got our dream Car 2017 Crosstreck Bright Blue Subaru at a great rate, and we are very happy about the professionalism of the whole team! Was trying to get a forester newer than 2014, a very helpful representative showed me the best deals he had and let me test drive right away. Financing officer gave me a great deal on the warranty. They willingly let me keep the car in their garage for another day when I explained to them I had a rental car and was not able to take my forester home the same day. They also gave me brand new tires before I drove it away the other day. One star taken off because the battery died when I took my car for photo inspection. No information, no knowledge and the sales people and the manage simple wanted to hear a "yes, its a deal" and we didn't have a clue what we were buying nor why it cost what it did. Not cool. We made one call to subaru and mike answered and said, no wait, come in and now we are riding safely with our first baby of 2 months, in our new outback 2021, at a cost we can afford and know was a great deal and thank you for such an awesome team. We were looking to purchase a Subaru Forester in Jasmine Green. After some research we finally tracked it down at this dealership. Once we met Benjamin, we were able to pick it up the next day. Although there wasn't much room for negotiation, we did get about a thousand dollar break off the bat as compared to the previous dealership we dealt with. But I believe there was still room for more savings being that we were given less options on the vehicle. Nonetheless, Benjamin was very professional; referring to his manager when difficult situations arised, and even came in on his day off to assist me in completing the transaction. It took several hours because we decided to take advantage of the 0% 0 down memorial day offer and financed the vehicle last minute. Had very good dealings with salesperson Ben Atwell from Koeppel. He did great. Didn't wind up buying a Subaru, but through no fault of his, nor Koeppel's actually. He was attentive, sincerely tried to work out a deal and followed up when needed, as did John Kay after my "non" purchase. Subaru is not very flexible with their options packages, which severely hindered Ben's and Koeppel's ability to make something work. I simply did not want a Navigation package in order to get the moonroof that I wanted on the Outback I would have liked. If you go there ask for Ben, you could do alot worse!

Nino Tirburzi (Sales) and Maureen Heffernan (Finance) truly deserve a 5-star rating for their services. Had an issue with my '14 WRX, while driving out of nowhere the breaks/rotors sounded like the car was falling apart when driving. First of Subaru Roadside Assistance was great got a tow truck to my location at 9pm and towed it to Koeppel from Mineola!! Then Miguel P. at the service dept was outstanding, he called me 1st thing in the morning to let me know that the car arrived and that they will diagnose the problem. Then 2 hrs later he called to give me an updated, a freak accident where a pebble got lodged in between the break pad and rotor, it was fixed and let me know the car was ready for pick up. I was very impressed with the speed and quality of service. If you need service on your Subie go see Miguel!!
