Great experience at Hillside Toyota. Mr. John Nictas is an exceptional salesman who assisted me in getting another lease for my vehicle. John is the best salesman there and he is very professional, honest and explained the details of my lease very clearly. He listened to my requests and tried to get the best offer possible so that we can work out a deal. I was able to lease the 2022 Toyota Highlander.

My experience at Hillside Toyota was phenomenal. My salesman Christian worked with me and got me a great deal on a brand new 2023 Camry. I visited the dealership twice and the first day Christian was upfront and honest about pricing and showed me multiple cars even though I was not quite ready to buy yet. He did not give me the common sleazy car salesman vibe who doesn't want to waste their time on you if you're not buying that day and will try to pressure you to make a purchase. He gave me his contact info and assured me he would still honor the pricing that we discussed if i came back later in the week. When I came back a few days later he helped me to find a great car at a great price. He made me feel comfortable about my purchase and answered all of my questions openly and honestly. This was my first new car purchase and I came in very nervous and intimidated by the process but thankfully Christian made the interaction very pleasant and after years of driving beat up used cars I am now a proud Toyota owner. Thank you to Christian and the Hillside Toyota team for being one of the few honest dealerships left.

Recently, I had the pleasure of working with Boris at Hillside Toyota to purchase a new car, and I can't say enough good things about my Boris. From the moment I walked onto the lot, Boris really went all out to get me the best price. He took the time to listen to my needs and offers from other Toyota dealerships. I'm writing my first review ever because I am so excited about my new Toyota car! I had been researching the Toyota cars online, but finally walked into Hillside Toyota. My husband and I met with Toby, the sales specialist who helped us buy a car that day! He was so friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to all of our concerns and needs for a new family car. Toby was more than patient when dealing with our insurance company on the phone, as well as spending time with us actually in the car, reviewing the features of our amazing Corolla Cross!! Toby knew this was the right car for us, from each of our prerequisites and budget. We left the Hillside Toyota dealership trusting Toby and our decision, but after driving our new car it is more than we could of dreamed a car to be. Also, to wrap up our sale we worked out the finances with Ed, and he simplified everything. He walked us through taking care of the new plates, and the timeline for the Registration and Title to arrive in the mail. The dealership was very busy when we first went to pick out the car, as well as when we returned to pick it up after arriving from the factory. But, Toby and Ed gave us their time and full attention. Also, Michael the sales manager was very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend them, and the Hillside Toyota Dealership.

Originally had gone to Toyota just to window shop and thanks to Sangeeta’s amazing customer service skills we decided on putting a down payment on a car. Our original wait time was 2-4 months to receive the car (supply chain issues), and since we weren’t in a hurry we had no problem waiting..received a call about a month in saying the car was being made much sooner than expected. Throughout the entire process Sangeeta was fully communicating with me and keeping me in the loop. Above and beyond salesperson, I’m glad we committed to getting this car with her.

I had a seat belt/airbag warning light come on within 90 days of buying my car. I took it Hillside Toyota and they were able to diagnose the issue very quickly. I was looking at a very expensive repair, but my vehicle was covered by a dealer warranty. VJ worked on the phone for three days with the warranty company to get them to cover the repair, including sending videos and photos showing the issue. He kept me informed of what was going on and was able to get my car fixed by the end of the week. If you have complicated repair situation and need to take your vehicle to a dealership for servicing, ask for VJ to get your car fixed!

I bought a 2022 RAV4 XLE with both the convenient package and weather package on for my wife. Even though I had to wait for the car to arrive for a month and half, the experience wasn't bad at all. Amazing experience with Pengo Li! He's the real MVP at Hillside Toyota! He is friendly, knowledgeable, and realistic with expectations. I had huge pains at Star Toyota because others were willing to pay more than I was able to and I kept getting pushed to the back of the line. After 9 months, I gave up and was not willing to play anymore of their games. Pengo was amazingly! We sat down, I gave him a general idea of what I wanted and he did it. He found a car for me almost instantly and we were able to come to an agreement on price and lock it down. I'm at a lost of words with how dedicated Pengo is with all of his customers. A few days later, I got a message from Pengo that my car was set to arrive shortly. I was shocked at the speed of this. Nothing compared to the nightmare I had with Star Toyota. A few days later, the car arrived, Pengo guided me through all the new features and functions and I was ready to sign papers. Process was super smooth and I was done shortly after. Highly recommended to look for Pengo!!

Product Specialist I had the utmost pleasure and privilege of working with Sangeeta. Her diligence, communication, and genuine positive attitude were a refreshing experience in itself. From our first conversation, she made it clear that she is only here for my best interest in the car I wanted. Throughout the following weeks prior to my car’s delivery, she always kept me informed of any information or updates. On acquisition day, she would frequently check in with me while I was in the finance department making sure I was okay therefore I never felt alone or abandoned. Even during my car’s overview with the features, the Toyota apps, or my additional questions - she made sure that didn’t overload me with all information. I had a great experience with my lease buyout with Christopher Del Valle, Sales Specialist and Tak Wong, Finance Manager. They were completely genuine, honest and transparent on the whole process. They took the time to breakdown each cost step by step. I walk out with a big smile and high appreciation to these two and Hillside Toyota. I went to another Toyota dealer in Brooklyn before I went to Hillside Toyota. Brooklyn Toyota gave me a breakdown with a $1,300 processing fee while Chris and Tak at Hillside Toyota would only charge $175 for documentation fee. I learned that any processing fee charge above $175 documentation fee is how much the dealership is trying to profit off of the customer. This is the reason why I am very appreciative of Chris and Tak for their honesty and transparency. I would highly recommend them to everyone and family and friends.

Called in a day before to see if they had a Highlander avaliable; said they did so I went the next day from Brooklyn. Toby was the sales and we got out the same day with the car. Update - should have done this day of, but was too excited to get the car. Check your receipts on what you pay for. Told us that it was going to cost $750 to get registration, plates, and all the paperwork done. Turns out it was for a "gold card" that wasn't explained or offered during the sales and total cost for the plates and stuff were $120. Way to get an extra $750.

I had an appointment to test drive a new 2021 Runner on Saturday. Sal, the GM of the store greeted me when I came in and set me up with product specialist Jordi. Jordi was extremely knowledgable about the truck and asked me all of the right questions about what I was looking for in the vehicle. He was able to find me the 2021 Limited Nighshade Edition and after testing driving we sat down to finalize the deal. They took my Audi in on trade and paid off the outstanding loan. In the end I walked out with a brand new truck and cut my monthly payment in 1/2! I would definitely recommend Hillside Toyota to any of my friends and family. It was a very straight forward process and not all the back and forth typically experienced at dealers. All in all I had a great experience here. My sales rep, Anis Chowdhury, was very transparent about pricing and provided me with a spreadsheet with details including the msrp, depreciation, and residual value of the car I leased. The dealership was very busy but Sangeetah was attentive and ensured to check up on me and my family while waiting to finalize my paperwork. My experience here was above expectations. John was extremely helpful, friendly, attentive and informative. I told him the car model I was looking for and he showed me the options. He did not pressure me into buying something I wanted. At no time did I feel I was being rushed either. I highly recommend John when you come here to buy a car.
