I’m really happy with my experience here. I was worried about going to a big dealership but it turned out great! Nick Cruse was awesome. It was my first time getting a loan on a vehicle and he was really helpful explaining the whole process. He was straightforward and didn’t try and push me into any decisions. Leslie worked really hard to find us the best rates possible for our insurance coverage and everyone we worked with was really friendly and helpful.

I visited this dealership to look at and test drive a specific model used SUV they had available on the internet. I called and was transferred to Jonathan Friedman in Sales to set up a time later that same afternoon to see the vehicle an hour from my location. I arrived at the time we agreed upon with my wife and daughter. John was very humble, professional and welcoming to me and my family. After looking over the SUV, test driving it and reviewing the service records I decided to purchase it. My daughter was given some paper for coloring, water bottles were also received and the complete process was straight forward with zero pressure. I purchased the additional warranty and the finance manager Dave Anderson was very friendly, accommodating and helpful on the paperwork process. It was completed in a timely matter and we were out the door in our used SUV in roughly 3 hours. I did however notice multiple younger sales associates playing around on their cell phones and sitting around doing absolutely nothing during the duration of my visit to the dealership? I was glad to have worked with a seasoned associate on my purchase as I’m confident that if I would had to do this with one of those lazy kids, the process would not have been so flawless. I highly recommend John and Dave over at RB Honda if your considering purchasing a vehicle as they were both top notch!!!! T

The people are nice and professional but after two services there I have decided to get my car serviced at another shop. Both times they charged a fairly high “diagnostic” fee for items that were obvious to diagnose. Then they apply the diagnosis fee to the work to fix, so to me it feels like a sales technique, but I don’t like this practice. It is good that they apply the fee to future work, but when I took my car to another shop they looked at the car for 1 min and told me the same problem, without a charge but Bloomington Honda charged me $140 for the diagnosis.

The service provided is top notch. Historically I have not been one to bring my car to the dealership for repairs, but my experience with RBH has been great. On two different occasions, I brought my vehicle in for issues and they confirmed the issues were covered under warranty and fixed them quickly and without cost. They proactively found that my repairs were covered, without my needing to get involved. Travis was the person I worked with and he made a point to keep me updated daily on the status of my repair. Surprised to be leaving a 5 star review for a dealership! Great work

I’ve been taking my vehicles here for years because they are thorough in their inspections and the work is top notch. Everyone I’ve had contact with has been extremely helpful and easy to work with. Something I love is the detailed report about issues that are critical, and issues that need to be taken care of in the near future. This was my second trip back to this specific dealer in a week, and this time, I decided to choose which specific consultant I worked with. After combing through reviews, I saw Alyssa’s name multiple times and I’m very happy I did. During our test drive, she was intentional about getting to know me a bit more and also riddled off facts about the car without having to constantly review her phone. That showed me that she cared and she also knew her stuff prior to my arrival for the appointment. Alyssa helped me get the best pricing I could and even explained thoroughly why the car was priced the way it was and what went into my trade-in value. As we wrapped up paperwork, Alyssa made sure I was good to go before she needed to leave and again, that personal feel truly sealed the deal for me. My experience with Richfield Bloomington Honda could not have been better. I worked with Alyssa Curtis trying to track down a Civic Si and she was courteous, resourceful, professional and helpful.
When we eventually tracked one down and it was at the dealership, my experience there was equally as pleasant.
I cannot overstate how excited I was that they were selling their cars at MSRP. Every other dealer I looked at had obscene markups but RB Honda was honest and upfront.

I dropped a friend off at MSP and had only a 10 min drive to the dealership. I was greeted immediately by service team member Ross. He checked me in and pointed me to the customer lounge as I was going to wait for my car. In less than an hour my car was serviced, washed and and an inspection report provided to me.
On top of the great experience of getting in and out quickly I utilized an online coupon of the dealership and reduced my cost for the maintenance work. I’ll be back!

With my lease set to expire and plans to purchase the car, he worked with Honda to get my shocks replaced for next to nothing even though the factory warranty had expired. In addition, he is working on the Xilon claim that other agents at Richfield Bloomington had previously stated was my responsibility. I leased 2 vehicles from this Honda dealership. I have been using them to service my vehicles since 2016. This visit was by far my worst experience. I waited almost 10 minutes for someone to check me in. I was being serviced for an oil change and tire rotation. It took over an hour even with an appointment. They didn’t run it thru the car wash even though I told them I wanted them to. They recommended a wheel alignment, but I didn’t find that out until I came home. They sent me an email saying I should get it done. However, the tech never said anything about it to me, even when I checked out. Not sure if it was an off day or if they are going downhill.

I came in for my recall notice, so normally I wouldn’t give a dealership my business since my car is so old. I also get that since my car is so old and out of warranty, no one cares.
I’ve worked in customer service for many years and still have to maintain a sense of care with clients. I also understand the short staffing of the world.
However, I do not understand why there were about 5 people that walked past me looking at their phones and not acknowledging that I existed.
I can wait, I was here for a reason, but all someone had to do was say ‘hey, person, I see you, it’s the weekend, so we’re swamped. I’ll let so and so know you are waiting, but just sit over there and we’ll get to you.’
I didn’t get any if that. I just looked around until the person at the desk got back from break. I couldn’t stand for very long that day and my legs were screaming at me , so I was just frustrated with the whole situation
Once I DID get help, people were fine and helpful. It just took a while.
The only exception is no one talked to me ABOUT the recall and what’s going on with my car. What’s hilarious is I was debating on getting my oil changed and they could have gotten money out of me since I was waiting for so long. Too bad.
I am looking at getting a car in the next year or so, but I will not be at this location. Not after that day.

Overall I had a good experience, but I have a couple complaints. When I checked in to get my car serviced, I said I’d wait for the service to get done. After the car was getting checked, I received a text message saying that additional work was found that should be taken care of so I approved the additional services. After awhile I did ask at the front desk if my service time would be longer (than the initial 60-80 minute wait) I was told that the car would need to stay overnight in order to get the work done. My complaint is that when I first checked in, I said I’d stay and wait for the car. No one followed up with me in person once I okayed the additional work that was requested for my car. If I hadn’t thought to ask myself how much longer the service was going to be, I could have ended up sitting in the waiting area for much longer. Also, when I did get my car the next day, I noticed once I was home, that I didn’t receive a car wash that usually comes with the service.
I’ve been coming to this dealership for 10 years now, and this is really only about the second time I’ve rated my experience lower than excellent. I realize that the dealership is most likely understaffed like so many other businesses, and like I said my complaints were more minor inconveniences than anything else. But I have come to expect a little better customer service than I received this time.

The salesman Leo was not feeling well so he referred them to an associate, who did everything for them. It is very helpful. I saw somethings that was strictly salesman straticy but acceptable.

Nice dealership that has demo models of hard to find vehicles including the new HR-V. They also have fun and interesting pictures on the wall that show old time scenes. The purchase experience was pretty good overall except for the trade in. Offering significantly below book price and then putting a vehicle on your lot for 3x that price, just seems extreme to me. I get tired of so many dealers playing that game and unfortunately this seems to be another one.

I used their auto detailing service. It could have been better from attention to details. A few obvious areas concerning the van were overlooked. When pointing out my concerns, most were taken care of but not all. The access to the service from beginning to end was excellent. Being open 7 days a week is super advantageous. I'll try them again with covering concerns before service begins.

I will say however that the finance person we dealt with did not leave a good impression. We had a simple transaction, check cut, etc. & her few interactions with us were patronizing, condescending & bordering on rude. Happily we finished up with Alyssa!

What I loved: The valet service is amazing. The car was fixed fast. Everyone I talked to did their best to help me.
What I didn’t love: It was hard to actually get ahold so someone in the service department, mostly talked to front desk workers. But those workers did their best to answer my questions. The repair service was extremely overpriced. I paid $360 for 1 hours labor and a $30 part. Not including $50 for misc charge.
Bottom line: I won’t be returning.

I came in for an oil change and while sitting in the waiting room received a text with photos showing me 2 filters that needed changing as well. I have never experienced service this wonderful. We have come here with our CRV from out of town - canada actually - with a chipped windshield just before they were closing on a holiday weekend. They repaired it beautifully. Then recently we needed an oil change and tire rotation - couldn’t get it done soon enough in Canada at our regular dealership. Drove here on a business trip and they took us at 6:30 on a Friday night - all find in a timely fashion and matched a deal promotion another dealership was having.
Love this service. Hoping they refunded as they forgot and charged regular price. I’ll see in my next Visa bill 🙃

I know, I know a fiver for a car dealership would seem suspect to me too... I stopped in after attempting to update the onboard navigation on my 2019 Insight. It had gotten all wonky and wouldn't do it, and then after resetting it it was stuck in metric (which I don't particularly mind, but my partner has a tough time with it). This was my first Service visit to Richfield Bloomington Honda. I was immediately greeted and welcomed. Travis introduced himself and made me feel right at home. He walked me through the Service process and escorted me to the customer lounge. (Very nice lounge, I must say.) I recieved the Multi Point Inspection by text, from the technician, and was able to review the services that the technician was recommending. Soon after making my selections, Travis updated me with the revised time frame. The entire process was fluid and informative. They finished the services and Travis wrapped up the paperwork. Really a great Service experience. But, it was Travis who made everything exceptional. I definately recommend Richfield Bloomington Honda for services on your vehicle too.

Had a good experience with the purchase of my 2022 Honda Passport. This is the first Honda I have owned. A lot of it had to do with the low pressure sales style of Zack "The Van Man" Anderson. It was not in inventory when I purchased it and he kept me up-to-date as to the status of the build. I showed up in the time frame Zack had given me at the time of order. Went in for a recall on an airbag on a 20 year old Honda I have. Scheduling was easy and straightforward and they got me an appointment only a couple days after I called which was nice to get it done so quickly being as this could be a huge safety concern. When I brought the car in to the service garage no one attempted to greet me or ask me what I was there for, I had to go look for someone who works there and wasn’t too busy to get started. This was right at their opening hour so I won’t hold that against them too much, I know what it’s like trying to get everything started for the day. The guy I talked to in the service dept. was friendly. They quoted me on things my car might need coming up, the one that made me laugh was over $50 to replace a brake light - that’s $8 for a pack of 2 bulbs and I did it myself in less than 5 mins. So that estimate seems quite high, but all the other services they recommended seems fair for the labor involved etc. I had an overall great experience here and will continue to go to this dealer in the future.

You were fantastic however when I came to pick up my car, it took 30 minutes. There were only two staff and they both were working with customers that needed significant conversations that too at least 15 minutes each. Then one had to take their customer to retrieve items from the car and the other person left to go talk to a mechanic so I waited with no one there to come back. After 10-15 minutes someone else showed up and was able to help me.

Only one annoying thing happened: I arrived to get my car fixed, walked in and was told someone would come out to my car. I waited by my car while looking into their glass-walled office while one man was actually helping a customer and the other one was sitting on the floor texting. Maybe take the texter-in-residence off payroll since he is doing literally nothing? He was sitting and texting the entire 3 hours I was there.

Recently purchased a Subaru Forester from RBH. I worked with Christian Silva who was a great help in explaining the purchase process and worked hard to learn about a vehicle RBH doesn't typically sell. The day after purchase, the car battery died (cold weather), and they picked up the vehicle, brought it to their shop, replaced the battery, and brought it back within a couple of days. I recently purchased a used Toyota Prius from Richfield Bloomington Honda and was incredibly impressed! I went to their lot to take a look at the car and asked to take a test drive. I thought I may have to do a salesperson ride-along, but they're just sending the buyer out due to COVID, which I really appreciated. All sales were very compliant with wearing masks and had sanitizer available throughout the showroom.
Working with my salespeople Ashley West and Nick Cruse was super low-pressure. Ashley was very transparent and really wanted me in the right vehicle instead of pushing me into one just to make a sale. I was able to arrange an extended test drive to really confirm this was the right car for me. Once I decided, I just had to wait a couple of days to finish the private party sale on my previous car and I was able to wrap things up really quickly!
Ashley was out the day I signed my paperwork, so I worked with Nick to get shuttled back to the dealership and finish the financing. My shuttle driver Juliana was amazing - super easy to talk to and even allowed me to make a pit-stop on the way back to the dealer to cash the check from the sale of my car. Nick chatted with me the entire time between the insurance and finance representative meetings and even left me a special gift in the car since we both marched the same drum corps!
I would highly recommend working with either Ashley or Nick on the purchase of your next vehicle! Both were easy to talk to, low pressure, and all around good people. After considering vehicles at other high--pressure dealers, this experience was a breath of fresh air!

I am a little iffy on this review. It is a very nice a newly remodeled dealer, and the service center seems to be well organized. The only issue I have is that I bought a 2011 Pilot from them used in 2013. I was not told at the time that there was a known rust issue on the rear tailgate and that I had an additional 2 years coverage. Needless to say I found out about this extension after the warranty had expired. Now the rust was present while the warranty was in affect, but I was not aware that it was until I was getting quotes to fix it. After reaching out to the regional manager of warranty repairs I was told they wouldn't cover anything. At first call Honda had acknowledged my past purchases 2002 honda cbr, 2011 pilot, 2014 civic, and my recent purchase of a goldwing. They said they wanted to work with me on this. Final call I was told no assistance based on 2 reasons. I was 1 year out of warranty, which I stated I would have had it repaired the year before had I known it WAS under warranty. Reason 2 was that I didnt do regular services with them and only had 1 purchase through that location. I had bought the Civic in Burnsville, under the same regional manager, and no I did not buy 2 motorcycles from a car dealership. Quote to fix came to $2800 because they will only replace the whole rear hatch. So much for Honda loyalty, I was looking at a new Civic to purchase in August, I will now be looking at Toyota.

I was an out of town visitor when my catalytic converter was stolen while my car was parked on a St. Paul street. I turned Richfield Bloomington for an emergency replacement. They really came through for me, replacing not only the converter but most of the rest of the damaged exhaust system on the same day I brought the car in.
Impressive turnaround for a cat converter, as such replacements often take as long as a week or more. Really appreciate how they enabled me to get back on the road.
Brandon, my Service Advisor, was fantastic. He stayed actively involved in my case throughout the process, communicating with me frequently and clearly. He even took a photo of my parts and shared it with me, correctly anticipating that my insurance company would want that documentation.
The mechanic also performed an 18 point safety inspection of my car, a nice touch. It was a pleasure to do business with Richfield Bloomington Honda, and I send my appreciation to all their staff.

Been going here since I bought my honda in 2015. Never a bad experience. During this visit, the customer service was excellent and the experience was overall good. I was in for an oil change, brake fluid change and they found my car was out of alignment. They recommended I needed to change a cabin air filter for $50ish dollars and i declined because i can do that for about $10 myself. When i got home and pulled the old filter out it appeared as though the mechanic crushed the old one with his hand and threw it away assuming I would elect to get a new one. While it shouldn't have caused any damage, it was simply disheartening to see.

Honda service is great for the big repairs. I was surprised that my 2013 CRV with 53K miles needed the timing chain replaced. The car had repair lights on for power steering and traction control. I was not given explanation as to why this may have failed. Only that these systems may not have been getting enough power due to the timing chain issue. Diagnosis and estimate were completed in a timely fashion and I was informed it would be completed the next day. Mid-day of the following day, I called and left a message with the advisor to give me an estimated time to pick up the car. Did not hear back so called the main Service line to find out this advisor had the day off! That's when I started to question the personal service. Otherwise, the car seems to be in good shape.

I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. The service took approximately an hour and a half. They did a really thorough job inspecting my vehicle and alerted me to issues with my brakes. They also provided pictures and videos of the issue. Jose was the one who helped me from start to finish and he was very nice and informative. The waiting area was super nice and had lots of seating, so I was able to work on my computer while the work was being completed. They also had coffee and a vending machine, which was nice. The staff were great and very helpful in my car buying experience. They were friendly and if they did not know the answer, they asked someone who would. Our salesman, Kris, was very personable and easy to talk with, and so was the finance and managerial staff. And they worked with me to find a vehicle within my budget and really helped me to get the extras I needed to be able to buy the vehicle.
The only thing I was rather disappointed with was that they did not clean the car before I drove off the lot with it. Granted, it was a used Pilot and I did not expect it to be perfect, but it was a rainy day when I visited the dealership and there was mud and dirt inside the vehicle from the previous test driver. And when I took delivery of the vehicle they did run it through a car wash, but the inside had not been cleaned out or wiped down or anything. I was disappointed they didn’t even throw in a paper floor mat since it was a rainy day.

4 stars instead of 5…. Replacement of the driver’s side mirror took an hour longer than estimated... and more labor cost than expected. It seems to have been installed properly and side mirror is solid. The new red cap piece was not in stock, so was ordered and will be installed along with differential fluid replacement, which should have been done between 15,000 and 20,000 miles… now at 30,000 miles… several service administrators (during the 15,000-20,000 period) have missed identifying that requirement. Current service administrator, Travis, did catch this, listened to my concerns, and was kind enough to give a customer loyalty reward in response. All ended well… and will be back for service completion.

Driving to MN from TN the air conditioning in my 2013 Acura (198K Miles) quit working. I called Richfield Bloomington Honda to see if they could get me in and the young lady who took my call set up an appointment the next day. The Service Advisor, Brandon, treated me as though I were a life long customer and got my car right in. A few hours later I was good to go! The air conditioning was fully restored and the bill was very reasonable. All in all, the service extended to me as a customer literally right off the road was outstanding!
I am very grateful to the Scheduler, Brandon and the gentleman who fixed my car for their help. This Honda Service crew is pretty great!!

The actual work was done properly. My complaint is that the service advisor knew that I was going to pick up the car late afternoon near closing time after my flight arrived. He said no problem they would have everything ready. When I arrived, the team could not find my paperwork, the service advisor left no notes, and they were unsure if the work had even been done. It took some time for them to figure things out and they did provide a courtesy discount. My complaint isn't the work, but the poor communications.

This is my 2nd vehicle from Richfield Honda and I’ve been pleased with their machines. But, when I brought it in for service, up to 7 people made eye contact with me and immediately averted their eyes. As I waited, somebody else came in and was served immediately. I don’t need immediate help, but eye contact and a nod that someone is coming should be the norm for welcoming someone into your business.
I was given a cool number to text and call my “ advisor”. I texted numerous times, no response, called a few times , no answer. I never communicated directly with anyone. I never actually knew what work was being done and couldn’t find out if work had started.
Upon retrieving my car, I’m missing my key chain. Also, disappointed that the vehicle died on the side of the road the next day. And, also, also disappointed to see the air intake manifold laying completely unattached on top of my engine when I opened the hood, staring at me like a fish in an aquarium.
Update: manager says tech told him he never worked on that area of the car.
Update 2: manager says, well we were supposed to check the air filter, so he must have removed the air intake, so that’s our fault.
But manager informed me he thinks I have trust issues. Thanks for the personal diagnosis! Will discuss with my loved ones and therapist.
Final update: I’m not sure. I can’t say Honda didn’t make it better. I CAN say that Honda vehicles have been reliable, efficient and great running vehicles for me. Special thanks to Travis and to everybody who do fine work at Honda.

Steve knew a lot about the car and let me drive it around, even let me wait for my dad to come and let us drive it around without him! I have a 2020 CR-V with only *11,000* miles on it. (It had 2 miles when I purchased at Richfield Bloomington Honda.) I have needed to bring it in twice now to replace the audio/computer unit (motherboard) because it’s faulty. My battery also completely died and needed to be put on a charger before it could be restarted. Both the audio and the battery situations could not be explained as to the source of the problems. So basically now I’m waiting for my new car to fail again- with no answers as to why it is happening in the first place. Essentially, it feels like it’s just, “here’s your key, good luck!”. So disappointed in my new car’s performance. My family has driven Hondas my entire life, and they’ve been great for us. Feel like I got a lemon.

I rated this a 4 because I will be coming back. I got an alignment, tire rotation, a/c check, oil change, bulb replacement, headlight restoration, battery replacement, and a fluid cap replacement. Total came out to be around $820.
PROS: very clean, they worked pretty fast, it was easy to text them and ask any questions I thought of, their estimate was correct, it’s easy to approve suggested services or deny them, everything is very informative, they had so many open times so scheduling online was super easy, the service guy I had (Brandon, I think) was super nice and friendly.
CONS: the vibe was a little off. when I dropped off my car in the morning and when I came to pick it up, it was weird because there was nobody to greet or direct anyone. Staff stared at me while I wandered around confused and when I waited at an empty desk to see if someone would give me my keys and let me pay.
I’d suggest the appointment reminder link to include some info about HOW and WHERE exactly to drop your car off and what to do when picking it up to make things a little more efficient and less confusing. Dealerships and auto shops are not spaces I feel comfy in, and this was really no different. Also the guy I paid with was really weird.
All in all, will be going back. Hopefully it’s more welcoming and less stressful my next visit.

I recently received service at Richfield Bloomington Honda (RBH). The service itself was performed professionally, however getting to agreement on the work to be done and pricing was frustrating and time consuming. Pricing at RBH was 32% higher for the same service as Walser Honda in Burnsville. I was told by Braden my Service contact that RBH routinely checks competitor pricing and that the service manager was surprised at the pricing difference. I routinely find RBH at least $100 higher than Walser Honda for the same service based on recommended service they propose when I have my oil changed. That is not something I can overlook nor do I have the time to “haggle” to get a fair price. I was also charged for a diagnostic fee even though I paid for the service. This is something Walser Honda waives when you pay for the service. I provided RBH with a service order to prove it. Love the location and service center but not worth paying 32% more, not in this economy.

I had to purchase a car in a short period of time and had my planned purchase from another dealership fall through (no fault of theirs). I had a specific used vehicle in mind (Jeep Grand Cherokee) and found one online at Richfield/Bloomington Honda. Mohamed Delmar was my salesperson. He was great, he got me in the Jeep on short notice, and late at night. His follow-ups were always timely. When I had some slight hiccups after purchase the service department took care of me right away. Nice and clean place. However, Sales man was a bit young so wasn't as knowledgeable or willing to speak about the car unless we specifically asked a question. Felt like he wasn't as focused as other places when we went to other dealerships. Financial team wanted us to go their route, so they asked me what my APR from the bank was, my rate was lower than 3.8%, so this dealership gave me a slightly lower rate. I was a bit annoyed because they will make it seem very complicated if I went through the bank instead of them. Ofcourse I want to lowest rate, but when I asked about how it'll be handled if I used my APR from the bank loan instead of dealership, they would not answer that. 🤔

I was able to find a coupon on the dealership’s website for oil change but Deven gave me a bigger discount plus additional $20 off I accrued for previous service there for having the brake fluid changed too. Also, the complimentary shuttle service was friendly and on time. My only suggestion would be for them to have more rental vehicles available as it would have been covered under my warranty but there were none available, a small inconvenience.

Honda now 2 months old, 1,700 mile. Check engine light flashes, car loses power and you sit on the road while restarting til it finally tames down. Screens delays to light up. After towing to two Honda dealers ( first one didn’t have time to look at it for 2 days), request for loaner car denied, towed to 2nd dealer (RB), and the troubles can’t be diagnosed as it’s running now. Shared the video of dash, and took my car home, wondering how long it will be til happens again. RB also denies your request for complimentary loaner car when in for warranty service. Feels like I have a new Honda with no warranty! Looking for another source for Honda warranty support, this was a bad experience.
Salesperson Alyssa gets highest rating, a 10+, she was responsive, knowledgeable, and really helped amid the current market conditions.
Honda car appears awesome, even after a long wait and msrp pricing.
Rest of dealership staff is sub-par; pushing add-on warranties, insurance sales, multiple iterations of purchase agreement to remove incidental charges that were not appropriate, and considerable delay that prevented a prompt and courteous transaction.
The transaction took so long; next day the sales person delivered to my home - very nice.

We recently bought a certified 2014 CR-V with 18800 miles from Richfield Bloomington Honda, we are very happy with our purchase. The salesperson Coltan Allen has been polite and straight forward from beginning. He is also patient, and thoughtful in term of understanding our needs, answering questions, offering the valuable opinions. We originally took home a black color CR-V, but after thorough inspection at my garage, I found that car appears to be involved in an minor accident, since passenger side mirror was a little loose, also headlight mount tab was damaged. I texted to Coltan around 9:30pm, he replied and apologized for the issue, he asked me to bring the car back next morning. After looking at the issue, Coltan and his manager Ryan agreed to let me return the car. This is exactly what I expect from a reputable dealer, who should stand behind the car they sell. I guess someone in service department must have overlooked the issue! We are human, mistake occasionally happens. In the following week, I made 2 more visits , looked 4-5 more cars. I finally bought a beautiful Kota Coffee color CR-V, with less miles than the black one. My car hunting roller coaster had a happy ending. I do appreciate Coltan's effort to sweeten the deal to win me back, in his words, to make things right for his customer.

He helped me get accessories ordered and installed and took care of most paperwork before I arrived. On the big day it only took about an hour to drop off my lease return, do paperwork, and leave with new vehicle.

We purchased, signed papers on a 2017 Ridgeline RTL-E on May 7, 2022. After being at the dealership for 6 hours the day before, we needed to return the following day to finish up. We scheduled to have some extra things done, crystal fusion for windows, undercoating, and a soft tonneau cover for bed of truck; that was scheduled for the following Friday, May 13th. During that week up until the truck service, the alarm system kept going off several times a day/night while parked and locked in our driveway. When we brought truck in told service technician about this and he told us to try different things to see if it would stay off, nothing worked so brought truck back and was told need to order hood latch and did not do anything to stop alarm from going off. It took 2 weeks for part to get in, so during that time had our mechanic look at this and after doing some research found out he could disconnect a wire to keep alarm from going off. We were also informed that could get a ticket for disturbing the piece for the price of $1000 if reported by a neighbor. Truck brought in for part replacement on May 28th, and found out that the vehicle hood latch was a recall and the service technician stated that having that wire disconnected could cause problems with the rest of the electrical system, but it even has this information on google search on how to disconnect wire if alarm keeps going off until it can be fixed. It also states other honda models have the same problem. I believe that if you're going to have a honest, trustworthy business, you need to be honest with the customer. Keeping information a secret does not build trust.

All of your customer service people are very personable and friendly. One concern: I was called and told service was completed and shuttle road in. When I arrived, in reviewing the printout…the wheel alignment check was not done …nor the wash! Thus had to wait another 30+ minutes for actual completion. My car “failed” the alignment test, but I did not want to spend another 90 minutes for work be done 2 days before Thanksgiving. Plus, the data on tire tread was different in 2 places on report..?? What’s up with that?

The person who helped me with my service on 3/23, I want to say his name was Nick, was super sweet and efficient. I actually had an appointment that I attended on 3/22 in which I sat and waited to be helped for over 20 minutes with no other cars waiting for service. Once I was finally helped, I was told that they could only gaurantee my oil change would be completed by 7 because that’s when they close, even after they were so delayed in assisting me in the first place, and my appointment was at 5pm. There was no apology and an extreme lack of customer service from the woman I spoke too. I rescheduled the same service the next day and Nick (I believe) came to assist me within 5 minutes of me being there and he actually apologized for the delay and let me know they’re short staffed. The garage was filled with cars waiting to be serviced. At no point was I upset but it was extremely appreciated he lead with that apology and explanation for the “delay.” My oil change took about 40 minutes and was the awesome service I’ve become accustomed too since I purchased my vehicle from Richfield Bloomington Honda in 2019. Give Nick a raise!!!

I had a great experience here! I was in a tough spot because I hit a deer and insurance totaled my Honda Fit. I wanted another Fit but the supply where I live in SD was extremely limited. I was also on a time crunch because my rental car only lasted a few more days. I inquired about a Fit but it sold before I could get there. Another one came in, in my dream color too! They were able to hold it for me and I came to town to buy it. The price was great despite the expensive used car market currently. They truly deliver when they say they are priced low! All of the staff I worked with were friendly and not pushy at all. They gave me plenty of time to check out the car and think things through. The fact that I live out of state wasn’t an issue either, so I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the cities or outside the area looking for great options and genuine service!

I know it's not expensive, but I do it regularly myself and I just did it, so I know it doesn't need changing. Makes me wonder what else they try to sell folks that's not needed. I have a mechanic who is also a good friend so I know the condition of my car. I believe they do good work and I mostly trust them.

Great service and friendly staff. I was there for a quick service of my car (basic checks, tire rotation and oil change) and it was faster than I was expected on a very busy day. The appointment scheduling was easy. I was received by Braden who was very reasonable and quick. I have Honda service contract which was bought in Wisconsin and was not Richfield Honda recommend. However Braden took efforts to make sure it gets added to my record so that next time onwards I don't need to call them and get it settled. So it was certainly an extra mile service for me.

I've been taking my 2017 Honda Accord (Touring) to RB Honda since I purchased the vehicle. I have 124,000 miles on the car and have never missed any recommended service. I have taken my car to another shop only 2 times when Honda's prices were way to high. Recently I began having transmission issues (January 2022). I took my car in and they told me I needed to purchase a new transmission. My 6 year, 120,000 mile warranty had just expired but the last person to touch my transmission was a Honda tech at RB Honda in October of 2021 when I had 115,000 miles on my car. Apparently my transmission was "examined" and was "good" by their evaluation at that time. So in the course of 4 months my transmission went from "good" to "needs to be replaced". Upon telling me I needed a transmission Honda said I could receive $2500 in good will support from Honda BUT only if I purchased a brand new Honda transmission and had the work done at the dealership. That new transmission would be $5,500 (on back order) and the work would be $2,700. Also, the tech told me I had a "massive oil leak" which required another $2,700 worth of work. Shortly after the dealership offered me $8,000 for my car and told me that it was only worth $16,000 if the transmission was in working order. This interaction with RB Honda has been terrible. The service guy laughed when he told me the situation, the sales person did not understand how to accurately value a car and Honda Corporate has not provided any other options. My entire family owns Honda vehicles (7 vehicles) right now and our previous cars were all from Honda. So sad to experience this as a Honda lover.
Beware of the service team at RB Honda. They will recommend VERY expensive work that does not need to be done (or does not need to be done at that moment). The oil leak they told me about was reviewed by another shop and diagnosed as "a very small oil leak". I did not even have an oil spot in my driveway where I park my car every day. I would highly recommend seeing another dealership for service or a different auto shop entirely.
Update on 3/23/2022
After Honda responded to this review and I reached out to them. During that conversation I learned that the original quote for labor was wrong. When Honda does "warranty" work they bill the labor at a far lower amount than what we normally pay for Honda techs to work on our cars. The labor bill turned out to be $998 instead of the $2000+ that was originally quoted. This makes the cost of getting a transmission through Honda MUCH more affordable. So I went in to order the transmission and was informed that the price of a new transmission went up from $5500.15 to $6316.66. This whole time I had asked for a quote in writing and nobody would deliver it to me. I asked multiple times and all I got was a verbal quote which I wrote down myself. After expressing the frustration over this they decided to give me an additional $200 off. In the end I am paying for a miscommunication error on RB Honda's side. If I had known 6 weeks ago that the labor was 1/3 of the quoted cost I would have placed my order then and been done with it. After all that I will end up paying close to $4800 to have this work done instead of the $4000 it would have cost 6 weeks ago. The kicker is that when I placed the order for the transmission there was no timeline for when that transmission would arrive and I was told there is no coverage for a rental car.
**Additional Update***
This morning the transmission that was "on backorder" arrived at RB Honda and I was told my car would be completed by Friday. This is great news and my service tech has been very communicative with me. All in all I think I have learned my lesson to never stop asking questions and always get it in writing, with a signature.
I've increased the rating to 3 stars due to these updates but left it low due to the poor communication which in the end cost me 6-7 weeks without a car and an additional $816.50. If Honda would like to cover that additional cost to set things right, I would gladly accept it.

Almost by accident, I found the car I'd been searching for over a period of months. I wanted a midsize car with a manual transmission and I discovered that not many of these are made and used ones in good condition are hard to find. After I learned that Honda makes an Accord model in stick shift, I decided to look into it. After receiving my e-mail inquiry, Ron Gholson in Internet Sales called me and gave me information about the models available with manual shift. Ron told me that they had a pre-owned 2016 one in stock that I could test drive to see if I'd like to pursue ordering a new one. I went down that afternoon, and much to my surprise, the used one was exactly what I had been looking for--size, color, transmission, and all. Ron was low-pressure, answering all my questions and clearly and patiently explaining options to buy. The buying process went very smoothly. Both I and my border collie (who came along for the ride) got lots of attention. Now we get to ride around in my spiffy red dream car.

This is by far the best dealership in the cities. I bought my vehicle in November 2019 and the buying process was so smooth. Recently took my vehicle in and had to get my water pump replaced. We got the vehicle we needed at a great price. That being said our experience getting there started out a little rough. Originally we got there at 6:30PM without an appointment because a vehicle we were going to look at somewhere else got canceled. We looked at a few vehicles and made a few requests for the next day that the salesman agreed to. Apon our return the next afternoon at the time we scheduled the salesman was not available, the requests were not done (it felt like we were not taken seriously about our want to purchase). Also, the person who did help us repeatedly stated out loud that we were the people who showed up right before close the night before loud enough so everyone could hear. At that time we felt like just leaving but we knew they had a vehicle that might be the one for us. Once the new salesman realized we were serious, his attitude changed and the process went smooth after that. I bought my first dealership car this past week. Prior I had been using private sellers. Granted the process took FOREVER, but that comes with any dealership (from what I have been told) best advice is to see if you can make an appointment when purchasing a car.
I would most definitely recommend Andres. For maybe a week he helped me get all the paper work set for me and my bank. He communicated everything throughly and made sure I had a good understanding. By the end of my dealership fiasco I was pretty much over the whole thing, but like I said before I understand and can’t be to upset.

I recently had an oil change at Richfield Bloomington Honda. The folks there are so nice and friendly, sincere. I was able to return on a warmer day for a free car wash. Braden Lengeling greeted me with a smile when I pulled in and instructed me to the waiting area. The waiting area is very nice! they have separate areas for laptops to do work, counter surfaces as well if you don't require a lot of space for a laptop. They offer coffee/water and vending machines. Such a beautiful place if you need to wait for your car, as I did. It doesn't get much better... Will see you folks when it's time for my next oil chage.
