Just drove my ‘new’ Mazda CX5 home today! I had a great experience at Oxmoor Mazda due to JaQuis Brooks. He was very helpful, extremely pleasant and personable and not once did I ever feel pressured. I have bought from dealers in the past and this was by far the best experience. No high pressure sales pitch. As a woman, I’ve come across many men in the car sales business that are condescending or patronizing. Mr. Brooks was very respectful and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and friendly, as was the finance office. The process itself was not too time-consuming, but there was a long wait, since there was only one finance person. Overall a good experience with them. However, I did not like learning about the extra fees on top of the MSRP after arriving. That should be made clear on the website. Also, the website indicated an APR that was no longer available, though I don’t know who is responsible for that either.

Although I was not able to secure a deal on a car with this dealership, I wanted to leave positive feedback due to the experience that I had. As an out-of-state buyer, I have not been taken too seriously by other dealerships. However, this dealership, especially Karlea King went above and beyond to answer all of my questions. I welcomed the texts and emails in order to get me all of the information that I required. Karlea even let me know what the car I was interested ultimately sold for, which is also very helpful to me and therefore greatly appreciated. If I was local to this dealership, I would certainly choose to shop there.

I had the BEST experience at oxmoor mazda!!! my salesperson was Kody Thornsberry and he was the complete opposite of the stereotypical car salesperson!! I came in wanting the Mazda CX-5 Turbo which I test drove and LOVED!!! The white with the black accents is absolutely unmatched. It gives the perfect combo of sporty and elegant. Kody with a K made my car buying experience wonderful as he was professional and made me feel like family. He was knowledgeable on every trim level and even let me know that the trim level below the one I looked at might be a better fit for me. It ultimately was my decision to buy the more expensive trim level and Kody, Chad, Kent, and Tim were able to make my payments EXACTLY where I wanted them to be. I had the best experience at this dealership and they will continuously keep my business!!! If you or anyone you know are in the market for buying a car Kody is the guy to go to!!!

I LOVE my Mazda Cx-3. This mini compact SUV is perfect. I think it was fairly priced and they gave me close to what I asked for on my trade-in. Customer service was genuine and worked with me- I would recommend Alan if you’re looking for kind service. However, after they had me wait an extra day to pick up my car(even though I had an appointment to pick it up- they didn’t allow themselves enough time to complete my vehicle) it was not detailed, as promised. The inside was not vacuumed out- leafs everywhere in the back- and there was still greasy sauce trails on the overhead lights and ceiling. I was VERY disappointed. Not a great way to seal the deal and not an acceptable way to treat a customer and expect continued business with them. Since writing this, Oxmoor Mazda reached out and made it right. They offered to fill my gas tank and detail my car- very nice service.

Turned in our lease a few months early. Process was easy. Arrived at dealership a little early for our appointment and was helped right away. Turned in our leased vehicle and left with new leased CX-5 within 3 hours. We left a couple of items in our old vehicle that we forgot about. Dealership retrieved the items plus jumper cables that I completely forgot about. We had great service with very little waiting downtime.

Both times I went in as a customer, I’ve had a great experience and they’ve done everything they could to get me a rate that fit my budget, without the haggling. “Tell us what your absolute budget is and we’ll do what we can to get there.” And they did, they’ll get creative to get you where you need to be. Sal, in sales, and Chris, insurance, were so wonderful to do business with and super helpful with all my questions and asks. Truly a great team! Not to mention how amazing my car is. When I leased, I went for a basic model but because Oxmoor didn’t have it in stock, they were going to get it from another dealership. The other dealership wasn’t reliable so they gave me a Touring for the price of the basic model since that was in their stock. They hooked me up, no doubt. Highly recommend Oxmoor Mazda!

I was dreading the hassle of buying a new car based on previous experiences. I planned to buy through Carmax with the knowledge that I would pay a little more to avoid the sales confrontation. As it turned out, the Mazda staff were very easy to deal with and I ended up purchasing a new CX-5 on my first visit. It was not an impulse buy - with all the constraint on available cars due to Covid, I got lucky and found an SUV that was exactly what I was looking for. Cody was my salesman and he was both knowledgeable and patient, and most importantly I never felt like he was trying to mislead me or take advantage of my lack of knowledge. I was able to get the price I was looking for without high pressure sales tactics. He even told me me to contact him if I had any questions about the SUV after closing the deal so I feel like I have a point of contact should I need help. I also want to thank the gentleman who handled my loan (I don't remember his name sorry) for being completely transparent with me. Based on my credit score, I was given a very generous rate on my loan - without me having to fight for it. I was not desperate to buy a new car - I was prepared to walk away immediately if I got a bad vibe. I cannot vouch for how the car will hold up over time, but as it stands I would definitely return to Mazda in the future.

We were given the option to purchase the vehicle , that way we could complete the transaction the same day. So we did and are now the very happy new owners of a 2021 Mazda MX-5 RF GT, absolute dream machine.

I talked to their digital sales rep Emily and told her the type of vehicle that I was looking for. She would send me information about cars to look at from time to time. The only downside was a minor one - when you purchase cars these days, dealerships want to sell you additional warranty/service packages - these guys do this too. I’m giving Oxmoor Mazda a five star rating based on my experience buying a used certified vehicle. My experience started virtually and ended face-to-face. Gabrielle (web contact) was very helpful from start while the web site helped look at the carfax report to get more details on car history, which helped me determine which car I was mostly interested before going to the dealership and test drive it. Both, Gabrielle and the web site met my expectations. The test driving experience was great. I test drove vehicles in other dealerships before going to the Mazda dealership. In other car dealerships, I had to wait significantly (15-20 minutes) before the car could be test driven. At Oxmoor Mazda, they had the car ready for me to test drive it. Kudos to Gabrielle and the Sales Consultant, Tyler Helm, who I believe made the test driving process seem super fast (5-7 minutes). The vehicle appeared as shown on the web while Tyler was able to discuss some other specifics such as few minor scratches, etc. I also received a proposal and left very satisfied and well informed about the car and its price. However, that was not the only car that I liked. So, it was competing with another car from another dealership and a really good deal, too. Tyler and Oxmoor Mazda worked with me on a deal that really beat the competition, and we were able to get to an agreement fast without having to go with too much back and forth. It was just simple. I also loved not having to stay at the dealership to fill out the finance application. I did it from home in just 18 minutes and when it was most convenient for me without rush. It all worked super fast. Lastly, the final portion (signing and walking out with the purchased car) was also a breeze. It took about 45-55 minutes and the car was cleaner than when I test drove it. Gabby in the internet dept was my first contact and was very quick to answer my initial questions allowing me to know the 90 min drive wouldn't be a waste of my time. When I arrived Jay took over and simply listened to exactly what I was looking for - he never tried to steer me to a different car that was easier for him to acquire. Once he found a specific car that matched what I was looking for he did the legwork to confirm it was exactly what I wanted and then drove to another state and retrieve the car himself. I wasn't a big fan of their add-ons or the extra push for an extended warranty, but I work in a similar business and understand where it was coming from. My service rep, Corey Nash, was very helpful during my most recent visit to Oxmoor Mazda. He took the time to explain my options and gave me a price quote on the purchase of a new tire, and even offered me a discount. He was going to get me in and out in a flash, but when he noticed there was an active recall on my car, he promptly found me and explained the recall and asked if I wanted to have it done now or later. He said it would take about 45 minutes. Forty-five minutes later he found me again in the lobby and informed me my car was ready. I was very pleased with the service I received at Oxmoor Mazda. Flew from Florida to buy their used Mustang. They picked me up from the airport and the whole process was seamless. The second I got there, I was handed the keys and told to go have fun. Now, I had already put down a deposit and basically all but paid for the car, but it was nice of them to give me that freedom. UPDATE: It took over a month, but I got my check. My complaining finally got the attention of management, and they were very responsive. They offered me additional compensation for my troubles and have called multiple times to follow up. With regards to the actual car purchase experience- I thought they dealt with me fairly and the initial experience was good. Other than the check issue, this was a good place to do business. I am changing my review from 1 star to 4 because of their final response to my issues, though I'm docking them a star for screwing up the check. It was actually cut a few weeks after the deal and just sat on a desk for another 2-3 weeks before they found the time to mail it. ************************* I bought a new car and was owed money back on the deal. It has been over a month and I still do not have my check. Every time I visit or call, I am told something different. They were in such a hurry to sign the deal and get my deposit, but when it comes to honoring the contract and cutting me back a check, I'm going to have to go to court.

I had an unusual problem with my Mazda 3 that was hard to find. The tech was very thorough and traced my no start condition to some wires that had been chewed by a small rodent of some type. My 18 year old daughter and I were shopping for a new car for her to go to college. Our overall experience was good (as good as buying a new car can be). We visited this dealer a total of three times, purchasing a Mazda CX 5 on the last visit. Everyone we talked to was nice and knowledgeable. I cannot say enough good things about the experience I had in buying my Mazda from Lawrence Blair a couple of weeks ago at Oxmoor Mazda. The Service Department is efficient, friendly, knowledgeable. It took awhile for an appointment, but in fairness I was told I could bring the car in on shorter notice but the wait might be longer. I live nearby and was shuttled in a loaner car to wait at home. But had I waited at the dealership, there's a very comfortable waiting area with sofas, TV, magazines, coffee -- nicer than my living room! And no pressure if you want to check out the newest cars in the adjacent showroom. (At some car dealerships I've been to, the waiting area is shoehorned into a service/parts corridor; here it's almost like a great room off the showroom, nice!) If I won the lottery, I'd go for that new retractable roof Miata!

My daughter needed a reliable car. After several used lemons, she decided she should try to get something new. Her first choice was a truck, but she had always loved the sporty Mazdas. Since trucks are hard to maintain and so expensive, I suggested we take a look at the Mazda and see if they had anything reasonable. I should also mention, we were in a bind since she was totally without a car, so the pressure was on. We walked on the lot and were immediately greeted by Todd Brake. My daughter had spoken with the sales manager either on the phone or through the internet, I can't remember which, so we asked for him. He was friendly and referred us back to Todd. I don't like to waste too much time with decision making, and I think Todd helped us narrow down our options fairly quickly. Todd did not make us feel pressured at all. He seemed to understand reliability was our first concern and bells and whistles meant very little to us. Even with that being said, he discussed the many options equipped and available on the Mazda 3. It was an interesting education and he made it quite enjoyable because he was clearly excited about the cars. He also made the price and purchasing more manageable than we expected. I think it was meant for us to speak with Todd. He said if we need anything further, to contact him, and I really believe him. We may need to contact him; cars nowadays are equipped with so much that we may need his assistance. I appreciate his help immensely.

I reviewed Oxmoor Mazda too soon. I initially gave a 5-star rating with how they very accommodating the whole process from negotiations for the deal we wanted, as we were buying two vehicles - a Miata and a CX-5 and my husband was a returning customer and the ease of getting our vehicles available. My husband did a lot of research online for the Miata he wanted and looked at all deals on the Mazda website and the Oxmoor website (and other dealer websites as well) and he came in what a set target of getting the best deal for both cars. Once he was satisfied he will get the Miata after the back and forth negotiations, he then sealed the deal with the Miata by saying we will be getting the CX-5 with the same deal, discounts on the car and accessories. After bringing the two vehicles home today, there seems to be a discrepancy with the final cost versus our expectations. James, our agent, said he will look into this when my husband goes back for his alloy pedals and all weather floor mats. For the meantime, I am giving a rating of three which I will edit once it is all settled. We came from such a very happy experience, we are in limbo now if we really did end of with the deal we wanted and agreed on. My husband spent a lot of time on his research and if we did not get the deal he wanted, then he could have opted to buy elsewhere.

While looking for a New SUV to replace my wife’s 2015 Honda CRV. The new CRV was our first choice. Only a few minutes into the test drive my wife really felt uncomfortable in the new redesign. She is 5’2” and could not see over the hood during a turn to the right because of the way it sweeps up on the edge of the hood. And she could see to the left because the outside mirror blocked her line of sight. Seat comfort and placement are her other priorities. The new Mazda CX-5 AWD Grand Touring was the perfect vehicle for our next lease term. She felt right at home immediately and was very comfortable with the ride the interior the body design and overall package. Sara was our sales representative through the whole process and did an exceptional job of locating our perfect interior and exterior color choices. Oxmoor Mazda had a very large selection of vehicles to choose from and the obvious choice to visit to get an idea of all the option and color choices that are available. We drove an hour and a half to find our next new vehicle and the process went very easy. Kiana helped with the initial online inquiry. And addressed all of my questions in a timely manner. Her first quote to us was very fair and below most others given for a comparable vehicle. Once we arrived Sara literally ran herself around the vast selection of vehicles to locate our color and interior choices. The sales team was very accommodating with negotiations and gave us the best trade in allowance on our CRV we had seen from any other dealers. David in finance was with us until 10:30PM to be sure we got all our questions and concerns addressed. Great experience overall. We highly recommend Oxmoor Mazda. MAYBE WE SHOULD HAVE LEFT!??! Update 9/21/20 It’s now been 2+ years later and we were sent a letter to bring our car in and drive out with the same make and model for $28 a month less. The letter stated that it compared our likes and needs from our current car and lease requirements and matched it identical to this new deal for $28 a month less. 2 years newer. 30 month 12,000 mile per year lease. First month payment and around $1000 and we’re on the road. It wasn’t close to the same experience. We haggled for over an hour because they kept bringing us a deal for 36 months. That was also considerably higher than we currently were paying. Our car had 11,000 miles and we’d hoped for a better trade with low mileage. They wouldn’t even acknowledge the low miles. After much back and forth..... We finally decided on a car and a color and it was actually identical to the car we had. Color and Trim. We finally got within $26 less than the current car. Than when we went in to sign we were told that Mazda no longer includes Gap Insurance on their leases. The current lease did include this! That was going to add another $24 a month. We were told they’d never seen our letter before but did all they could to honor it!!! We were told if we waited another 6-7 months till our current lease ran out we’d never get this deal next year! So we ended up after hours of back and forth putting our tail between our legs and doing this deal. Have to tell you. This was the least exciting lease we’d had ever done in our 37 years together. We felt like we’d been run through the ringer. 3-4 times in one day!! High to Low. We’re in a 2 year newer car. 🤨 $3 a month less! 🥴

Went in to buy a used Mazda. They sold out pretty fast so decided on getting a new Mazda. The salesman setup up a quick price markdown at which price the car was bought the next day. Only problem, they didn't have the car in inventory. Shipping the car at no extra cost took 5 additional days, the length of time unclear to the salesman. However the car arrived as requested and there were no other hidden fees.

I bought a used car from these folks about two months ago and had a great experience. My sales rep, Mark James, went above and beyond to help me get the car I wanted. Rob Pollard in finance was able to get me a good loan with less than perfect credit. Due to some hiccups with transferring the vehicle from Kentucky to Indiana it took a little longer than expected to get the car registered. However, when I met up with their runner to get the tags and title transferred at my local BMV branch, he arrived ahead of me on a busy Friday morning and got us a ticket which cut my wait time significantly. The dealership sent a check to cover not only the registration fees, but all of the late fees associated with the snag in processing time plus a little extra. These folks are amazing.

Sales associate John Marcsik met us at the door and asked how can he could help us we told him we wanted to look at a Mazda CX9 with out hesitation he ask what color. I had an excellent purchasing experience here. I initially went just for a test drive, and really liked the CX-5. My salesman was Joe C., and he was a lot of fun while still being knowledgeable - you should ask for him if you go there ;) There was absolutely no pressure to buy on my first drive, which is good, because when people pressure me I don't cave, I just get mad. After the initial test drive I told them I wanted to test drive other cars at other dealerships. Again, he wasn't pushy or rude or like "not don't do that, buy this car!" He just said, "I understand, here's my card, just let me know when you want to come back and buy the CX-5." Haha. After test driving other cars all over the city, I still loved the CX-5 and knew my buying experience would be easier with Joe, so I went back. We test drove several different version of the 2016 blue reflex mica CX-5's as well as a used 2015 in black. It came down to two cars and I wanted to discuss it with my boyfriend, so Joe came up with an excuse to let us talk. He left and it took 30 minutes for us to decide. From there, negotiating was downright pleasant and we feel like we walked away with an solid deal. Neither the dealership, nor us, was screwed out of anything. They had everything prepared for us when we came back to pick it up later that week. The only snag was a long waiting line for financing (I probably wouldn't go there on a Friday for financing again if I could help it). As for the maintenance department, my boyfriend is a loyal customer here with his 2012 Mazda3, and have not heard any complaints out of him.

The experience was great! From the first communication through the funding process! Would definitely recommend! I do have to be honest though- after leaving the lot with my new car (it was used, I'm second owner) I wasn't able to drive it until I had a tire replaced that kept going low, also, I wasn't provided with a spare so that wasn't an option. So I had to replace the tire and I'm in the process of trying to hunt down a spare tire. Other than that, lol, it was a good experience.

The salesmen, finance manager, and all the associates were Very nice and helpful, I am a Disabled Veteran from the US Army 80% disabled , I am not able to drive, and I am on a set pension for my disability, I was thinking that there wouldn't be a way for myself to be financed for a vehicle. Once I arrived I was welcomed and treated like family. This is one of the best Auto Dealerships that I have ever seen. As I stated everyone there was friendly,helpful, and after all the doubts I had of being able to Purchase a new car was pushed aside, and I am now a very happy owner of a new car. We checked NADA online for our trade in value and the price of the used car we bought, and their prices were fair. Good staff there. The biggest problem is that the County Clerk's state office still had 2 liens on our car even though these loans were paid off years ago. Our bank loan officer called the County Clerk's office so they finally removed the liens, so OVIS showed no liens and we could trade in our car after a short delay. Only 2 very minor problems- the windshield washer fluid was almost empty, and the tire pressure light in the dash came on the first cold morning because all 4 tires were a few pounds low for air pressure. We liked Carmax a little better for a previous car because of fewer add-ons after the sale, but Carmax did not have the car we wanted nearby.
