They got a customer for life. Found a good deal on a vehicle, for my parents. Had the pleasure of having Paul help us out. Had a nice test drive and decided to pull the trigger on it. The process was easy and everyone offered us water, beverages, and snacks. There is also a beautiful 64' Porsche, on the show room. Love the green paint! Lastly, after closing the deal, I joking asked for a free Porsche hat. Without missing a step, Brad said no problem. The small things like that will make me loyal to a company down the road.

Fantastic experience with the Team at Tom Wood Porsche. I traveled from Lexington, KY to Indianapolis to purchase a pre-owned Cayenne. The car was accurately represented to me being that I hadn’t seen it in person before making the trip. Jorden, Brain, Brad, and Ross went out of their way to make sure I was completely satisfied! Shopping for a CPO Porsche can be a challenge. Finding a dealership that is absolutely responsive, professional and easy to work with can be even more challenging, especially these days. Jorden Burr, Ross Barclay and Brad Roberts helped me find the right car for me (it was between a 997 Turbo and a 981 Boxster GTS: the Boxster won this round) and they made it easy to work with them, even though I am in a different state. They were responsive to my questions, fair in price and they worked as a team to get everything in order. Grew up on farm and used several tire dealerships so I know how long it takes to replace a tire. A job that should take 30 minutes max shouldn’t take 1.5 hours. Not complaining about the job just the time it tAkes. Seems to be the standard at the 2 dealerships I’ve used. I know it’s German but can’t be that much different. Took over 2 hours to replace all 4 tires this spring. Management was adequate and hospitable and do appreciate getting me in on my schedule.

A level of service that, while you expect it from a company with the prestige of Porsche, actually receiving it feels amazing. I can already tell that my purchase, a Porsche Macan GTS, is going to be the 2nd of many many purchases I receive from the Porsche family. My sales concierge, Paul Bennet, is without a doubt, among the best in the business. His charm, sensibility, and willingness to help is beyond reproach. I'm a tough sell and can flip-flop my choices at the drop of a hat. Without missing a beat, Paul Bennet would immediately shift gears to follow whichever direction my brain would take me. He ensured all questions were answered (sometimes well after hours) and would follow up all requests. He would offer multiple options at once (as he quickly learned my shopping/buying style) and would reassure me that even if I decided to stop the process, he'd help me out whenever I decided to re-start. The experience of paying for my vehicle and getting financed was insanely smooth as well. The online pre-qual process was smooth and getting my trade-in and payment confirmations was beyond smooth and easy. It can NOT be overstated how amazingly smooth it was to get things going, continued, and finalized. The level of continued service is so far above par that it sets a new level of what ANYONE should expect from any dealer. Tom Wood Porsche and Paul Bennet continue to remind me that I'm not "just a number". They've continued to reach out to me to make sure all is perfect and if there were any concerns, they addressed them immediately. I've said this multiple times now but it bears repeating: The care, service, and attention from Tom Wood Porsche and my rep, Paul Bennet, was on such a level as to resemble love. It's a continued reminder of why I joined the Porsche family in the first place, and their nurture and care is why I will continue to grow within this family. This was my first visit to the dealership for service on my vehicle, and I was made to feel welcomed and appreciated, from the person at the service door, the receptionist and the service representative. Although I did not purchase the vehicle from Tom Wood Porsche dealership, that did not make any difference with the representative (John Castle) who assisted me. My 2012 Porsche Panamera experienced an engine warning light, so I used my ODB2 scanner to discover the severity of the error, only to fine that its just a notification of an error in the electronic braking system not calibrated. Set appointment with Tom Wood, and spoke with Joseph, and dropped the car off and was explained to me what the procedure will be and have an answer by end of day. It wasn't good news but not bad either. Brake pressure booster fails during calibration. Replaced booster and calibrated electronic parking brake. Great services with communications with Joseph was paramount. Highly recommend Tom Wood Service Department for your Porsche automobile needs. Joseph provided me with an unexpected gift on my way out. Surprised to say the least. No substitution.

Arrived at 8 AM for what was to be a two hour service and I was going to wait. Was then told that it would be a 30,000 mile service and would be over four hours. Thankfully I was provided a ride home. Received a call 6.5 hours later and advised the vehicle was ready to be picked up. Got dropped off and was told I needed to wait another 15 minutes for cleaning. After that I got in the vehicle and upon turning out of the facility I immediately noticed missing out in the engine and the check engine light came on. Went back and waited while they checked out the problem. After 45 minutes, I was advised they had replaced three of the six new spark plugs that had been damaged when installed. My Cayenne needed for a major work at the engine, and I believe Tom Wood handled that professionally. Everything was under warranty and went smooth with that. Unfortunately the car had to stay at the shop for more than 2 months. I received constant updates on the situation. After about a month, Tom Wood provided me a great loaner vehicle, which made my life easy. I wish I would have received the loaner vehicle since day 1. Perhaps I simply should have ask.

I am updating this review because I would also like to recognize the outstanding service provided by Brent Taylor. Not only does Brent provide excellent work on modern Porsches, he has been willing to work on my older classic Porsche. Brent is always up to challenge of diagnosing any issue. Over the years I have always received excellent service at Tom Wood Porsche. Last month John Castle and his team were exceptional in assisting with an issue. A day before I was to leave on vacation, I found a bolt lodged in one of my tires. I called John around noon and explained the problem. He was able to get me in that afternoon and install a replacement. Not only was the problem promptly resolved, but he also was able to put me in a loaner so I could make to an afternoon appointment.

The staff at Tom Wood Porsche are great to work with. I’ve sent several vehicles over for inspections and had several vehicles in for service. Service staff are professionals. This visit I worked with Joe Cordova. Great guy! From appt to the amenities, overall experience was fantastic. So I recently got software upgraded on my Taycan 4S and it was an excellent experience from scheduling to getting the car back . The only thing I feel that they could have done better is to call me and let me know that they are bringing the car over. I was not notified of car delivery and the car was parked halfway between the two garage doors so the other car got blocked as well . But for this I will give them 5 stars . I had looked at the car earlier in the year, but am happy I waited as it allowed Porsche to ensure everyone was educated on how to use the car and its features. My wife and I were in Indianapolis over the past weekend and noticed our engine diagnostics showed our oil level was low. We contacted Tom Wood Porsche on Saturday afternoon and had the good fortune to speak with Barry Wickliff. He told us to come right over and he personally confirmed the low oil level and added the required quart without charge. He was so personable and helpful, even helping my wife with some of her unrelated questions concerning the car. His helpful and gracious attitude is all the more impressive given the fact that we are from out of town and unlikely to be purchasing a car from him. New to the area and needed a regular service, plus a few minor repairs. I was concerned as my 911 (993) is Air-Cooled and a lot of new dealerships won't touch them. They were very quick to get me in for an evaluation. The problem was the transfer case as we expected. They said they would place the order for the part and call me when it was in, that was a month ago. We are very concerned that our car has not been fixed yet. (And I didn’t even ask for a loaner. ) Turns out, they had sent an email when the part arrived, but it did not reach me. Once we reconnected, they replaced the case, had it covered by my warranty and I’ve had no further issues. In the end, great service.

My wife had called to the service manager to leave a message and a complaint two weeks ago and still have not heard back from them. This is a Porsche warrantied certified Porsche preowned vehicle by the way. Was traveling and serpentine belt broke. Had car towed here and the first person I spoke with on the telephone seemed to be inconvenienced by our break down. We did not buy the vehicle from Wood. Initially told us our first opening for repair would be about two weeks away. A few days later a different service rep was pleasant and told us the vehicle was ready. They had fixed the broken idler pulley and replaced the belt under CPO. We drove the vehicle home a few hours away and the next morning noticed the oil leak that Tom Wood Porsche had missed because they didn’t take the time to inspect for the belt fragments that had apparently lodged in the main seal. We took it to a different Porsche dealer and it is being serviced and they note while not common this type of seal damage/problem can happen with our model and belt break. So, because of the initial telephone interaction seeming as though our breakdown was an inconvenience to Tom Wood Porsche I do not know if the service team just did not pay attention and miss the oil leak (poor service), or was the seal just not leaking for them. If we’re traveling and have a breakdown and they are the only choice , then we need to go there. Otherwise, we don’t have plans to return there for routine service

Having recently moved here from Colorado, I would have to say that our experience with the service department at Tom Wood Audi was wonderful. They were informative and offered a loaner car, as it was going to be a several hour process. Our previous experience with the service department of the Audi dealer in Colorado wasn't always too great, but we loved the car, so we dealt with it. At Tom Wood it was no longer a disappointing experience, and we will not have to dread it as before.

I was looking for my first Porsche in the Midwest and after exploring 4 different Porsche dealerships I ended up buying locally, in Indianapolis, which I’m very happy about. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Tom Wood Porsche staff and this time around I personally experienced it. First, big kudos to Lee and Richard - they were both amazing throughout the sales process and took great care of me. I didn’t absolutely hate signing Brad’s endless papers either, hehe :) Car buying is a stressful thing in general and they made it as easy and enjoyable as possible. Zero pressure. You feel like you’re truly a valued customer which many other dealers state but often fail to deliver. Second, I’ve got a great deal both on my trade-in and Porsche I chose to buy. There wasn’t anything better in the whole country (ok, maybe one car, but it had a weird color combo). I was expecting great deals only from non-branded dealers, but was pleasantly surprised here. It has been a few days and I can’t enjoy my new car enough. It’s amazing all around. I drove an Audi before getting a Porsche and loved it, but this thing is next level. What’s more important, Lee and just about anybody from Tom Wood Porsche are very approachable and are still helping me with questions and other requests, even after the sale was closed (which rarely happens with other dealers: typically, after they get your money nobody picks up the phone). To add, Lee is very knowledgeable about Porsche cars and their quirks and is a true ambassador of the brand. These relationship aspects are what makes me want to bring my friends and loved ones to Tom Wood Porsche to buy their next car. Something other car dealers could learn from them. Lastly, this review was unpaid and I wrote it because I felt like it.

I am quite surprised to see some of these reviews since I have been driving 1 1/2 hours since 1993 to have Tom Wood service my Audis, rather than go to a closer dealer. For each of my four Audis I've always received prompt and courteous service, the issues have been dealt with fully, and the prices are, if not cheap, reasonable. Since I almost always wait for my car to be serviced it benefits me that the services are done in a timely way and that in only one instance has the dealership not had the parts needed. The facility itself is very nice -- the service area is clean, and the "quattro cafe" is a nice place to wait with complementary coffee and bottled water. The service reps are friendly and knowledgeable, especially Caleb and Andrew, and they really understand the cars, and keep customers informed about the status of their repairs. I tend to buy my Audis locally, but I still choose to receive the excellent service of Tom Wood since I have had such a series of good experiences over more than two decades. Highly recommended!

I recently purchased my 1st Porsche a low milage 2001 911 Carrera 4. I called Tom Wood for a oil, filter change & inspection. They were happy to accommodate me and had me scheduled for service the next day. Not completely knowledgable about my new vehicle the helped familiarize me wit Porsche. Once service & inspection were completed the washed my car and reviewed what they had found. All and all pretty sound vehicle with some recommendations for service in the near future. Much appreciated feedback. Since buying my 911 a week ago I have talked to Porsche owner friends and looked on line. The IMS bearing is troubling to say the least. Tom Wood service did not see any failure modes on my car related to this but I question what I should do to protect my investment. I mentioned this to Mr. Kashman via email and am waiting his response.

This was my first time dealing with Tom Wood Porsche. My air vents suddenly stopped working and it was a very cold day. Initially I called and talked to Jim, who was less than helpful and wanted me to make a scheduled appointment for 12/21, it was 12/8 when I called. I was very upset and complained to the gentleman (Martinez) who was supposed to schedule me. He was nice enough to send my complaint to the service department. Tristan called me immediately and arranged for me to bring my Cayenne right away, it was smooth sailing from there. I really appreciate Tristan helping me, he was very prompt, efficient and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend asking for Tristan when calling to schedule an appointment. My experiences at Tom Wood Porsche Audi, since 2011, have all been great! My salesperson, Joe LeBlanc is the best. My Q5 was in for its 35,000 mile checkup this past Monday and while I was waiting Joe made sure to say hello and asked me if I had any questions about my car and by chance I actually did. There were no problems as I only had some navigation and voice control details I hadn't researched. He sat in my car with me going over my questions until they were all answered. Who takes the time to do that, Joe LeBlanc, that's who. He is a top notch guy and you should look him up if you're shopping for an Audi. Caleb Nobbe, in the service department, is also top notch! He treated me, this trip and in the past, with respect, took extra time listening to my questions about future service contract costs and finding the answers I was looking for and he did it all with a smile. Caleb is genuine, kind and very knowledgeable in his job. Leading up to this scheduled service I had spoken to Andrew a couple of times on the phone to setup and then change my original appointment because of bad weather. He also treated me with the same respect, kindness and courtesy on the phone as well as on previous visits for service. I have yet to have had a "less than great experience" with those I have mentioned. I know they only see me a couple of times a year, at most, but I'm treated as a respected friend/Audi owner. I love these guys and can't say enough good about them. Oh, and the guys who actually do the service work, kudos to them too!

Visited Tom Wood Porsche on Saturday, May 29th. We live in Texas and were visiting family in Indianapolis and attending the Indy 500. We noticed the heater in our Porsche Cayenne was not working properly and took a chance hoping we could get it looked at on Saturday. We were a little concerned there could be an issue that might surface on our return trip to Texas on Tuesday after Memorial Day. We were immediately greeted by a service ambassador Dakoda Neace. He was as able to quickly diagnose the problem; determine the faulty switch was in parts inventory and could get it replaced Saturday afternoon. Dakoda made a loaner available to us for the afternoon. The work was completed as promised. We can’t thank Dakoda enough for helping out of town visitors.

Very disappointed in my experience. I bought my dream car, 2009 Boxster, the experience was great with the sales team. I was asssuered it had undergone a thorough inspection and it was ready to go. I put the top down and drove away a happy new Porsche owner. Less than 5 miles away the windscreen between the bucket seats flew off into traffic and was destroyed. It wasn’t attached correctly. I was told by Tom Wood Porsche too bad it’s a used car and my responsibility the second I pulled off the lot. Really! So much for that great Porsche inspection assurance. The salesman offered to pay out of his pocket for a new windscreen, kudos to him. I thanked him but didn’t take his money. It’s a principle thing. I have been remiss for not editing my post sooner. With the reply below from the manager I am changing my rating to 4 stars. Responding to critizism in the positive way he did is what sets some dealerships way above others. After 15 years of driving Lexus I recently leased a 2016 Audi A6. It was a great experience working with Amanda Hammonds. She is very knowledgable about the cars, was always willing to pull up another car to test drive and answered all of my questions throughout the process. She had to find a car at another dealer to match my needs and did that quickly, then communicated updates to me each day until the car was ready to be delivered. Ed is the new general manager of Tom Wood Audi. He did an excellent job of supporting Amanda while she was working with me. In the past I have had some bad experiences with Tom Wood' Service, however I believe the Service Manager did a good job trying to make things right. The service consultants are a little slimy, but if you know that going in you can avoid racking up hundreds more $ in unnecessary work. My old review for a year ago: After getting my car back last Friday the truth is that Tom Wood has the worst service on the planet. I served two tours in Iraq and thought I have seen it all, Tom Wood has shown me that they are the lowest denominator of what is bad in America. I brought my Audi in a couple of weeks ago to have some warranty work and some little things done. This should be seamless, right? Wrong. I get a call from Tom Wood letting me know what's covered under warranty and what's not. Apparently the warranty company has the option of providing the parts for the repair, so I'm thinking...ok. Tom Wood wants me to authorize that I'll pay an additional $500 to get their 'official' Tom Wood parts. Huh? No, just do the warranty work the way the warranty company wants to do it. So over the next couple of weeks I'm waiting for my car, I get pulled over because Tom Wood's 'courtesy car' has expired plates. I bring the ticket to Tom Woods Audi and ask them to handle it. I'm thinking this is the lowest this can get, right? No, Tom Wood Audi starts to dig. I went to pick up my car today. The price is twice what I authorized and Tom Wood wants to give me a $280.00 check to pay the ticket I got. Really? They did agree to charge me only what I authorized but the ticket is still sitting on my license because I am not going to have a 'driving with expired plates' going against me. They have no problem checking for dents or if I filled the tank but it's my fault they 'overlooked' giving me a car with expired plates. Nice. Then when I get in my car this evening, I find a part of my front grill sitting in the passenger seat of my Audi A4, all my CD's taken, and greasy finger prints all over the inside of my car. I would expect this type of service from Jiffy Lube, but this is a high end car dealer. Tom Wood Audi is the worst. I love Audi's but I'll drive to Chicago before I let them touch my car again. I encourage anyone reading this to do the same.

Fast forward 21 years, in 2016 I contacted Lee Douthitt, and the amazing team at Tom Wood Porsche in Indianapolis, Indiana, about the opportunity to purchase the yet-to-be announced but highly anticipated 991.2 GT3. Ever since the very first email, Lee has been absolutely amazing to work with and displayed the upmost professionalism. Throughout the two year wait, Lee and I exchanged numerous emails, texts, and phone calls on the status of the GT3, the customized build, and car culture in general. My experience felt very personal, unique, and exceeded all my past experiences with other brands. Once my car had reached the dealership earlier this week, Lee went above and beyond by recording and sending me the entire process of unloading the car, performing the PDI, and prepping for delivery since I was not able to be there in person. I've been in the market for a new vehicle for roughly a year. It wasn't until about two months ago that I actually started engaging dealerships to try and narrow down my search. I was fortunate enough to work with Lee Douthitt on my quest to find my new car. Lee was 100% no pressure and listened to my needs. He was very laid back and matter-of-fact with the entire process. They were very straightforward on what my payment would be and they were actually able to get be a better rate than what was shown to me originally! There was never any pressure to purchase any "add-ons" (e.g. GAP insurance, paint protection, etc.). They simply gave me a brief summary of each of these features and then allowed me to ask questions. In the end, I took delivery of a brand new 2015 Audi S3 Prestige with the Performance Package with a great payment. Tom Wood Audi exceeded my expectations in every way!

Up front disclaimer: I was having a pre purchase inspection done at Tom Woods via the dealer I was purchasing through, so I was not Tom Woods' direct customer. This situation, in hindsight, was a mistake. Because I was not their direct customer, it's been a struggle finding out who looked at my (potential) car and having them call me back with some information. But it's not just that. I am a remote buyer 6 hours away. The PPI report itself was lacking editorial detail and was simply a checklist of what was checked and what was not good. Needless to say, phrases like "tread separation" provide little to no detail at all on what the problem is - is it all 4 tires? Is it riding on the cords? Is the tread straight up separated completely from the sidewall of the tire? Is it driveable but cautioned to replace sooner rather than later? Further, according to the PPI report, the number of overrevs and operating hours were *not* pulled or recorded. This is typical to do when performing PPI on modern Porsche vehicles. Otherwise, the PPI report had no editorial information at all on "is this a good vehicle" or not. There was only information on what worked and what didn't, no checks on the level of abuse on the car or if the car had signs of rework or being in an accident. When trying to call to talk to the person who looked at my (potential) car, I was given, intentionally or unintentionally, a runaround: - I was redirected to different people 3 times, as the first two thought they knew who looked at it, but apparently didn't know for sure. - Two different individuals never returned my calls despite leaving voicemail. - One of them listened to my voicemail, had time to write down my phone number, but not time to call back right away despite me describing this as a 5 minute conversation - One individual said he would have the tech (who supposedly for sure looked at the car) call me within an hour. I never received a return phone call. Needless to say I am not super pleased about this foreshadowing of Porsche's customer service in the future. Update December 2018: Called John Moses, the GM, after his reply here. John was helpful and ensured I spoke to a service advisor to get answers to my questions in the end. Long story short, my fault for allowing the dealer to take charge of the PPI instead of having Tom Wood Porsche report to myself. However, as a potential future customer, I would have appreciated a return call and a statement that information is routed through the dealer and not to any potential buyers as a standard practice for dealer-driven PPIs.

Went in for oil change, resolve issue about a water leak inside the car, as well as possibly upgrading my PCM that was experiencing intermittent issues. I was informed that my PCM is now locked up so my radio and hands free no longer work. Picked up car and battery was dead due to PCM stuck in a continuous loop trying to reboot which drained my battery. They jumped my car and I removed the fuse for the PCM once I got home. Now I need a new radio.
