I had met up with my Lexus loyal friend who was having her car serviced yesterday at Tom Wood Lexus. She was assisted by Service Consultant, Mike M. I was highly impressed by his professionalism and felt he is genuinely a great person. Now, I know at certain level his job title is to make the customer feel that way, but he went beyond expectation and really listened. I do not own a Lexus, but he almost makes me want to buy Lexus because of the service!

My wife and I had started shopping for a car to replace our primary driver that was totaled when we were rear ended on I465. Our first day of shopping at the southside dealerships was a miserable experience . All the cars we were shown were dirty uninspected, damaged from previous wrecks and out of the price range we gave them. So the next day we went straight to Tom Wood Lexus. I told the sales person Doug Rominger our price range and he stayed in it . Doug was amazing and very knowledgeable. The cars shown to us were immaculate and already inspected .They didn't push us out of our price range .They were down to earth and it was an overall very pleasant experience. We drove home our beautiful RX350. The fuel tank was topped off ! It was super clean and we love it ! If you are shopping for a vehicle new or used don't waste your precious time ,start your search at Tom Wood Lexus .You wont regret it.

Every time we are at Tom Wood they are quick and help us diagnose any problem. They will even schedule with Tom Wood Collision. They have excellent customer service and I never have a problem getting in that day or week. They most always allow me to have a loaner when in stock. Their cafe is top line. Love Tom Wood and all the service reps who have helped me with my new RX350! They make purchasing their car through them so seamless and they take care of you even after you drive off the lot. Always have had a great experience.

We found a great deal on a 2009 Honda Accord. From the time we walked into the dealership through the test drive and purchase Michael was amazing to work with. We took the car to our mechanic to have it checked out. The dealership detailed and washed the car and filled the gas tank before we drive it off the lot. Great experience. I would definitely go back next time I need to purchase a vehicle.

Brought my SUV into dealership for maintenance service last Saturday and mechanics discovered I needed new arms for my right rear tire in order to get a good alignment completed. They ordered the parts and allowed me to use a loaner until my vehicle was ready. Friendly and professional staff and the service is thorough and complete. I trust the service department to advise me of any issues that require attention and they’re competent to fix whatever is necessary. Dakota was great!

The service I received was excellent!! I had high expectations and specific requirements. Zach and James worked so hard to help me get what I wanted. Their communication was steady and consistent. And they found the car I wanted!! I’ve driven an RX 350 for about 20 years. I’ve hauled up to 7 trees at one time putting them in through the sunroof. On the other hand, it’s so classy we’re proud to drive it to formal events. These vehicles are amazing and I plan to drive them as long as I can drive.

Wonderful experience!! We live in Evansville, Indiana and we purchased our Lexus from Kenny Kent Toyota:( long story short~We drove 181 miles to Tom Wood Lexus the best decision we made!!!! So convenient. Appointment arranged by text. Thy already knew why my maintenance light was on. I was given a loaner car while my car was being worked on. Received a text when my car was done was able to review paperwork and pay online prior to picking the car up. Everything was very easy. Staff was very polite and knowledgeable.

He made suggestion but I did not feel pressured to approve maintenance that was not essential. Shanan has been my Service Consultant for years and I miss her when I have to take my RX (second RX) in and she’s off for the day. She listens to my concerns, translates to the Service Technicians and back to me. I feel confident that my RX will be well cared for!
This visit was for a 55,000 service and I had a couple of additional concerns. Shanan checked the national service database for a tire I had to purchase from a dealership in TN - it was still under warranty which saved me from having to pay for a replacement! She and the Technician gave me recommendations on how to prioritize some additional items that were not critical.

Only complaints are the miscommunication that caused me to wait almost an hour for a loaner vehicle and the 30 minute delay at pickup locating my keys because my service agent was at lunch.
I was able to get a same day appointment, friendly, professional service, a fast estimate of needed repairs and fairly quick repair time, based on their hours and the time my estimate was approved for repairs.
Considering I was on vacation, I was well pleased!

The service department representatives continue to decline in offering good service. I have owned 6 Lexus all purchased from Tom Wood Lexus. In 2008 everything about Tom Wood Lexus was amazing. Today not so much. Recently one of their main service reps quit and the new service rep threw them under the bus and blamed everything on her. She's not even there anymore. The new rep failed to take responsibility. At the end they made everything right, getting there was a challenge.

I seemed to have a minor trouble on AC fan but visited to Tom Wood Lexus service center. Their finding was there were a lot of peanuts around filter and engine, which made a trouble. Squirrel must have done it because shell peanuts were in the garage shelves which was for birds. Service advisor Mike listened me carefully and solved all trouble together with their technicians!

My wife's Lexus broke down on the highway near Indy during a travel baseball tournament. Tom Wood's team rose to the occasion. Had her car towed, identified the issue, handled via warranty and provided us a loaner car. The cool thing is Sam (service team) allowed us to use a loaner, even though we are from the Northern Ohio area. The part was ordered immediately but took almost a week to be delivered. Sam's team completed the repair within a week or so and worked with us to match our schedules to swap our cars. In all, Sam allowed us to use the loaner for about 2 weeks. If it was not my frost free oil change I would complain but they did the work great. 1. Should ask if I want a car wash as I don’t want a machine to wash my car 2. There where two huge grease marks on my trunk. You can tell where they closed my trunk. I just wiped it off but it took like 5 Mins. That was even after they washed it. Great place but for a $350 (normal charge) I expected it to be flawless.

He made a phone call on my behalf to the Lexus dealership in Schaumburg Illinois named Woodfield Lexus and requested them to look in the file where I bought the car and found out the policy I had bought when purchasing the car allowed him to collect the free tire that was mine to today advanced policy that I had taken out the methodically checked to see if they had the same type of runflat tire and when they did he had John the service man go to work on it. The weight was short and he also had John at the car when I went to leave to answer any questions I might have . First rate, seamless service. People make all the difference! I've had challenges in the past, but have experienced excellent service over the last 6 months. Their text service is phenomenal! They send you an easy to understand diagnostic and let you select any additional service recommendations easily! Dakota is the Service Dept is SUPER!
Sep '22 Update: Had a 90k service done and the oil level was low when I picked up my car - Was addressed but concerning that the techs did not confirm something as important as engine oil level. Also, I had an electronic issue that I was charged a $350 diagnostic charge for -Other dealers credit you a portion, or whole amount, of the diagnostic charge towards addressing the issue if you decide to continue - Tom Wood Lexus did not offer to credit any portion of the diagnostic charge which was surprising and not 100% aligned to the high Lexus Service level.

My first call was to the local Lexus dealer who provided a lot of assistance. They replaced all of the parts and gave me a loaner car in the meantime. What I am grateful for the most was the delivery of my car and swapping the loaner car. They vacuum your car when it comes in before the service is started. They offer a refreshment center for their customers, not to mention how beautiful their facility is.
Unfortunately I do have one complaint, the service technician that serviced my 430 SC, they removed my floor mat that I cover my Lexus floor mat with and tracked oil onto my Lexus Floor mat on the driver's side. This is not the first time something has happened to my car.
So I just ask that the technicians be more careful when servicing the vehicles.

My Service Writer, Mile McCann, was great to work with. He got me setup with a loaner quickly. He contacted within a couple of hours to explain the proposed repairs to the car. There was no pressure to approve the work. The repairs were pretty extensive but the Service Technician worked late in the evening to finish the repairs. I appreciated the electronic service tracker, I was able to keep track of how the service work was progressing until the work was complete.

Last weekend, I flew from D.C. to Indianapolis to pick up a 2017 Lexus NX 200T F Sport and then I drove it 600 miles back to my home in Northern Virginia. If it weren’t for Tom Wood Lexus, and the awesome customer service I received from Sales Consultant Corey Thingelstad, I would not have even tried to pull that off.
Back in December, I was in a car accident and my five month old Lexus NX 200T F Sport was totaled. The car took the brunt of the impact and I wasn’t seriously injured. Because of that, I immediately wanted to get back into the exact same car, in the same Nebula Gray with the same black interior. I looked all around Virginia and nearby states. Each time the sales person would talk to me about a different exterior color or would suggest I give the red interior a chance because they didn’t have what I wanted on their lot. I was frustrated until I found EXACTLY what I wanted at Tom Wood Lexus in Indianapolis. Blaine Polhamus, the Digital Concierge had answered my initial online inquiry to see if they had the SUV I wanted. He forwarded me the information and a couple of days later he followed up and that’s when I decided I was done searching locally. He put me in touch with Sales Consultant Corey Thingelstad who went to work right away to make the sale happen. Within a couple of hours, he and I had exchanged several texts, he had my financing approved, he had papers drawn up and had all my questions answered. It was a whirlwind and it was just in time because that Friday was the last day the other driver’s insurance was paying for my rental car. So, I booked a flight with miles and set to leave at Noon the next day for Indy. But, the flight to get there wasn’t easy. I had a 3.5 hour delay sitting on the tarmac, but all along Corey assured me they’d be there whatever time I made it. He and his team leader Andrea had Dakota lined up to pick me up at the airport and as soon as I landed I was on my way to the dealership. Once I arrived my name was on a sign outside one of the offices and everything was in order and ready to go. It was the easiest buying experience ever. The car looked awesome. The deal went smoothly and I was even able to pick out a charity for Tom Wood Lexus to donate to for the sale of my car.
Oh, and here’s the real kicker. I was using a Lexus Vehicle Special Purchase Program Certificate through a family member, so I am not even sure Corey made much of anything off my sale. But, you’d think he was making double by the way he went above and beyond to deliver.
And, since my family lives close enough in Illinois to drive to Indy, they were there waiting when I arrived and were chatting it up with Corey. Again, the experience was awesome. I knew what I wanted and Corey and Tom Wood Lexus delivered. 1,200 miles round trip might seem like a long way to go for a vehicle, but the excellent customer service and the Lexus brand made it worth every mile.

I went there to do an oil change, and I was told that my car didn’t need it, but they will do tire rotation, and that they will also check the fluids just in case..
2 hours later, they told me that my car was ready and they charged me for alignment and tire rotation.. I paid $200 for something that it was done without even asking me if I wanted to do it or not.
I didn’t want to argue with this guy, specially because i had my kids and they were hungry because was lunch time, but I went there 2 months ago to complain about an alignment they did a month before because my husband was upset, he said that the car was exactly the same, so I went back and they fix it.
Oh and for my surprise, there was another lady with exactly the same situation 🙄

The work report does not say that the car was there for 4 days and not able to duplicate my complained “hearing a continuous low frequency alarm” however when I came back to pick up my car I have to call the attention of the technician (Rich). Finally, he heard this continuous low frequency alarm, he said coming from air blower motor of the driver seat. It took another week to order the parts and repaired the above issue. This was what had happened which was not indicated on the receipt, additionally the car was dirty and no courtesy free car wash, thank you and appreciate for loaning me a car and fixing the above issue.

Though my Lexus is older though well taken care, they treat it like it’s new and they seem vested in ensuring everything works. They always perform a full-point inspection with each visit (per my request) and though it can cost me sometimes when they find something, I’ve always had great advise on when or when not to do any repairs they may find. I trust them and trust isn’t something I am that generous with. And my Lexus looks, runs and rides like day one and that is 100% because of their helping me stay ahead of anything which may become problematic. I do my part and Lexus does theirs.

I had a problem with my 2002 sc 430 trunk not closing completely. After getting an estimate from the shop I use, I decided to go to the dealer(Tom Wood) Cody was my rep and he said they would do their own evaluation and it showed a different issue. They ordered the part and gave me a new loaner vehicle to drive untill the part came in and the repair could be completed. That was a great convenience since it took close to a month to get the part. I came in to Tom Wood Lexus only because my friend recommended them. He had worked with them previously to purchase a car and assured me they would be easy to work with. He was right! I found just the right car for me! I appreciated the no-pressure approach of the sales people and their friendly attitudes. My only complaint is that I was told my new vehicle was being cleaned up while I was finishing up my paperwork, but when I got home I realized that they had left the key box and price sign on the floor in the back. I’m pretty sure that means they didn’t actually clean it up on the inside. When my friend let someone know that same afternoon that those items were left in my new vehicle, he was told that I would be contacted. No one has ever called or contacted me.

I have some suggestions for when Lexus changes the body style. The flange over the back window needs to be changed. Every time I go through the car wash I must get out of the car and throughly dry off the back window. It leaves streaks of water on it due to the flange. Also I would rather have the extra feet of space taken up by the grill in the front put inside the car so it would be more spacious and comfortable.

The service was excellent but as a new customer that bought a used Lexus from another state it was somewhat confusing as to how the dealership operates. For example needing to wait in the lounge after dropping off the car for your personal service manager to come in an talk to you about what work they already know is going to be done today. I was in the market for a 2020 RX 350. I was very specific in wanting it white with black interior. It had to fit a certain price and after doing my homework on the value of my trade, I wasn't willing to take less. I live in Northern OH and reached out to several dealers in the area. I searched on Carvana and Autotrader for weeks. After dealing with higher prices, no inventory, and/or bad customer service, I decided to widen the net and consider out of state dealerships. Enter Mike Word and Tom Wood Lexus. He had the car I wanted and it was priced near my target. He took the time to work with me on payment, setting realistic expectations and was not just professional, he is a pleasure to deal with. All the negotiating was done over the phone. It made the trip there so worth it. I love my car, which came with far more options that I expected. Mike Word and Tom Wood Lexus exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend!

The day I picked up the car was an outstanding experience - the coming to an agreement on price - not so much. If you are buying a new vehicle now the dealer has all the cards - if you don’t buy it someone else will.
The other thing is that on their website you can value your trade - that turns out to be complete BS. 2 or 3 stone chips and the car “needed” tires - that cost me over $5,000. The car had 28k miles on it and was well cared for.
Overall, it was just an ok experience - they have not earned a loyal customer.

I have been going to Tom Wood Lexus for the past 5 years. Coming from California everything operated completely different here in Indiana, from pricing to negotiating service cost. Tom Wood Lexus is the only Lexus dealership in Indiana, and at first that really upset me the way they did things. I met Shannon one of the service writers. and Kyle one the supervisor in service. Once everything was explained you saw that spending the money for your service, you get service points that could be turned into rewards for future service. The quality of service is superior. Shannon and Kyle are what bring me back to see them each and every time. They are honest, nice, take their time explaining everything, don't have you do something that doesn't need immediate attention, but will make you aware of the situation for a future visit, if you have any questions they will answer them without being upset that you are questioning something. Everything was great with service itself and with Shannon who is always great! BUT, when I arrived in the garage 3 men were standing at the desk near the forward exit of the garage. Not one of them made an attempt to check in my car, ask me about my service, anything! I was looking for a 2020 Lexus RX 350 with sunroof and fully loaded with very low miles that didn't cost the same as a 2021..I search many places ..including here..I didn't find one...the next morning I got an email from Lexus online service indicating they had a match for me and it was here in town!. I called and they quickly arranged for me to come in and test drive it. I loved it! It was late and my salesperson 'Tyler' stayed late to talk to me about the suv and what were next steps for purchasing.
They also gave me a good price for my trade in.
Going on a test drive was hassle-free..I just showed them my drivers license and I was off driving.
I returned the next day to purchase my first suv..I have previously owed cars and a cross-over never an suv..it feels big but I love it.

Tom Wood Lexus really surprised me with the way they took care of me when I brought my Lexus for open recalls this past Tuesday. Haris took care of me and he did not even let me wait for five minutes. He got the loaner car ready ( fuel 80% full) even before I arrived at their dealer. I signed the paper. I arrived at my 1:45 pm appointment and was met by associate who hurriedly took my info and instructed me to wait in customer waiting room. I was only scheduled for a Safety Inspection so I was prepared to wait while service was being done. After 5 minutes, my service advisor, Kevin, called my name and directed me to his office. After gathering some information from me, since this was my first visit with their service department, Kevin informed me of the different Inspections available and I chose the FREE Safety Inspection instead of the $170 15 point instructed. He then told me that it take approximately ONE HOUR and to return to waiting area and that there were snacks and drinks available. The ladies room and waiting room are well lit and there's also a Cafe but it was closed due to Covid. While waiting I noticed that Good Bones, a local mother/daughter house flipping team, was on HGTV and that Indy Star published on article about them in the paper that morning. As I was waiting I so engrossed in the show's marathon that I didn't realize that 3 hours had passed! After locating Kevin in the service area, and waiting about 5 minutes until he assisted another customer, we returned to his office and he informed me that he was doing multiple jobs and that there was a mixup and I that I had received the 15 point inspection and that there was a special running at the time so it would be free to charge. I really felt bad for Kevin because he was doing several jobs that clearly someone else should have been doing. I understand that there's a shortage of employees at many businesses but there should have been better communication. All in all an overall good first time experience considering the shortage of workers in the country. NOTE: Masks are not worn by employees! Kevin put his on because I was wearing one.

This is a first class facility. Travis, my service advisor, was very helpful and communicated the entire process for my warranty work. I was in and out with a loaner vehicle extremely fast. The quality of work was excellent. I could not ask for better service. My vehicle was completed about an hour after they closed on Saturday. However, the current on-site service advisor stayed until I arrived to get my vehicle because I needed it for travel the following Monday.
The coffee lounge feels like an upscale Starbucks. A bar with complimentary and for purchase foods (depending on what you want) as well as coffee, WIFI and comfortable seating.
I highly recommend this dealership and dealership service center.

Good service by the service manager. Hail storm damaged my car. Their insurance did not cover it. Perhaps they should look into this for future. It is expensive to have the car fixed, adding to that acts of God damages is over the top for a customer.

The only thing I don’t like about having my vehicle serviced there is the way you turn your vehicle over to an attendant when you drive in, and go to the customer lounge to wait to be called by the service advisor. I have found this waiting period to be anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes, and I’d rather that my vehicle was being worked on sooner, rather than have to wait to be called from the waiting room to discuss the service needed and cost.

Comfortable, luxury environment. Service was fast. They do try to squeeze as much money out of you as possible with labor fees. Almost $400 in labor to put on a thermostat is a bit much. Also charged me $165 to diagnose that I needed a new amp for my stereo and told me it would be more costly for a more in depth look into the problem. Consult with an independent mechanic first so you can have an indication on what the issue is as well as reasonable cost to fix it.

I relocated from Newport Beach, California with an extended maintenance package on my Lexus RX350. My 60K service at Tom Wood was done quickly in an afternoon and scheduling online was easy, however my visit felt wholly disorganized as nobody clearly told me what to do when I said I was new to this location. I was told to go inside and then had to wander around until I found someone to ask where I was supposed to get my loaner car and who I was supposed to be talking to. Upon leaving, I was given no review or explanation of services done or the next recommendations; I was given a "future invoice" list for these within a stack of papers just handed to me. Nobody had called me to ask if I wanted any of the recommendations (off my extended package) done now. Small thing, but they also said they'd put on my new temporary IN plate for me but it was still sitting in the front seat. Newport Beach used to give me a basic car wash/vacuum, maybe they don't offer that here. This was just NOT the efficient and thorough Lexus customer service I was used to.

From a convenience standpoint, if a customer says that they are going to wait and not utilize a loaner, there should be a dedicated mechanic for that time period.

My service coordinator was very gracious and heard my concerns. What I didn’t like was I am concerned about what additional services I need. Besides what I had done, she told me I needed two additional things: wheel alignment and flushing of my air conditioner. Then she handed me the paperwork on the service. When I read it at home, it doesn’t mention wheel alignment just air conditioning flushing. And there are other areas shown in read on the report that aren’t referred to. I’m confused. I was ready to go back for the alignment, but now I don’t know what—if anything—my car actually needs. It has fewer than 20000 miles on it.

This is my second Lexus purchase. I was was so pleased with my 2010 Rx350 that I bought the exact same thing, right down to the paint color, just 10 years newer. I never even considered anything else. That says a lot about the product.

Greg was assigned to help me when I arrived. He was very efficient and had my loaner ready to go. We reviewed the work summary and discussed the time frame for the job. He said it may take 3-31/2 hours. He called me at exactly 3 hours and they had the job complete. Super easy, very polite, excellent service. Greg was very nice and seems happy to be at his job. In fact the entire place has a nice atmosphere.

Staff is personable and respectful. I’ve been especially pleased with the reasonable approach taken by service. Unnecessary repairs aren’t recommended. The original parts and quality work have proven to be superior compared to other shops claiming adequate resources to maintain a Lexus. Not so. Pay a bit more and service your luxury vehicle here.

I was overwhelmed how accommodating and gracious they were. I had never dealt with the Tom Wood Lexus dealership before as I am from out of town but I called first thing in the morning hoping they could fit in my daughters car sometime that day as something had broken beneath the motor and was dragging on the road. Not only did they fit me in that morning but also fixed it for free which I was certainly not expecting. I worked with Cody who could not have been nicer. I had a slow leak in one of my front tires. I went online and was able to get an appointment the next day. When I arrived they took my car immediately and replaced the tire. I had wheel and tire coverage so there was no cost but she had trouble getting approval. She didn’t make me wait. She had me on my way and texted me later when she got approval. Absolutely great service!!!!

After several failed attempts to work with Lexus dealers in and around the Chicagoland area, we had reached out to Tom Wood Lexus to inquire about a particular RX 450h we were interested in. While they didn't have the specific model available, they did have several others models and were willing to work with us and honor a purchase program we had available to us. Initially, we didn't hear back right away and I figured it was just another "ghosted" inquiry, but they came back with a quote that was exactly in the range we expected.
Being situated in Chicago, Derrick and the team were great to work with and responsive in any questions we had. Really appreciated being able to work out a majority of the paperwork virtually/over the phone and so that when picking up the car, it was just a matter of a quick car inspection, test drive and final signatures.
Also a shout out to their tech guy Steve for helping me with my lease return and taking time to go over a lot of the high tech features in the new car. Very impressed with the mobile phone integration and getting some quick training on how to use some of the voice commands & activate Siri/Google.
I would highly recommend Tom Wood Lexus for a purchase or lease. The overall process never felt pushy or standoff-ish, which I think has a lot to do with that they don't work off commission. Anyhow, I know where I'm coming when the time calls for a second car.

These guys provide a quality service and their delivery people are very friendly. The only reason they are not receiving a full five stars is my continued complaint that it seems to me they should find a way to open a satellite authorized service location in the Columbus Indiana area so that I don’t have to drive 100 miles round-trip to have my car maintained. That seems counterproductive and had I not already had the car when I moved here I would not have chosen a Lexus vehicle for that reason only.

I have a 20 year old LS400, and needed routine service that included a new timing belt. I received a loaner car while mine was being serviced. The tech even sent a video showing that he could balance a nickel on the intake manifold with the engine at idle. That is very, very smooth. I am always happy with the service I receive, and the expertise of the technicians. The entire staff seems genuinely concerned that everything about my visit was perfect.

I purchased an SC430 from a private party. Lexus notified me about an airbag replacement. I set an appointment and took the car in for the recall work. Sam promptly greeted me, arranged a ride to my place of employment. He then found out that the part wasn’t in stock, but picked me up, took me to the dealership and provided me with a loaner car. Great experience!

Well apparently once you drive the car off the lot they don't care about your business anymore. You would think they would want you to be a future customer and to bring your car back to be serviced by them. but promises that were made by the original salesman were not kept when meeting up with the salesman who took his place when he couldn't be there. And promises of getting back with me after talking to the other salesmen didn't elicit a response either. And sending a text directly to the original salesman about the issue at hand did not elicit a response. Very frustrated. everyone was super nice and friendly and helpful until I drove my car off the lot. After that the service ended. So I did get my car and I'm loving it but I did not get everything that was promised to me. and I would expect even if I just had some general question I should get a response instead of being ignored. Poor follow-up customer service.
Update:
After posting my review I was contacted by both the salesman who initially sold me the car as well as the manager of the dealership. Ashley (the manager) was friendly, professional and courteous and definitely wanted to understand what about my experience was unsatisfactory. She clearly wanted to make things right and went out of her way to make me feel like a valued customer.

Erin & Kevin handled the scheduling and maintenance paperwork very well.
Pat handled the actual technical work on the vehicle and was great in his discussion with me regarding existing and potential issues. His quality of work was excellent and very timely.
Check in & check out was fast & smooth. Facility is great! Give them top rankings! BTW - the vehicles are almost maintenance free - 19 years with my GX470! Will continue to rely on them for all services on my Lexus vehicles!

I am so pleased with the service at Tom Wood Lexus. I called to make an appointment and the person on the line was extremely helpful. He was able to give me the service date I requested and followed up with a text message confirming the appointment. When I received the text I realized that I had given him by mistake the wrong date for service. I called and was able to reschedule the service date. I thought I may get some “push back”. But that didn’t happen. The service person couldn’t have been more helpful.
My car was ready for pick up before the scheduled time. Not only was all service items completed to my satisfaction, but my car was vacuumed on the inside and washed on the outside.
Am I pleased with Tom Wood Lexus service...you bet. Would I recommend their service department to other Lexus owners...you bet.

I worked with sales consultant James Gamble (and Tina Smith as manager) and had a fantastic experience. I never felt rushed. They both took all the time I needed and patiently answered all my questions. In addition, they let me drive different cars to see what felt the best, and patiently went through all my financing options for each car. They also did a very good job explaining all the differences between the cars. In direct contrast, I had just spent 30 minutes at a dealer prior to this, and they already were trying to close me with a hard sell. I appreciate the way James and Tina went about helping me and will definitely return as a customer.

Brought my car to Tom Wood Lexus for a simple software update. Brett Sullivan was my service adviser and came into the waiting room to advise me my RX had some codes show up after the update and they could not get them to go away. He asked what I wanted to do and I advised him I wanted them to diagnose the problem. Brett set me back up in a loaner car and advised me that he would let me know as soon as he knew what we were looking at.
Brett texted me early Saturday morning to let me know that the technician Eric Tracy stayed late Friday night and found a few connections that needed secured and my car was ready to be picked up. Eric and Brett both did an excellent job and worked hard to diagnose the problem and fix it in the most reasonable cost efficient manner!
My encounters at Tom Wood Lexus has always been positive....my experience last week exceeded my expectations.

Recall on my RX set appt. was advised it would take several hours and was again given a loaner vehicle. Shanan greeted me and took great care of me throughout the process. Ended up having a couple maintenance items completed while car was at the dealership. Picked up my car and Shanan took care of my payment and researched and answered a couple of question I had. Once again I am very happy with the service I have received.

Very professional staff, I brought my Lexus in for an airbag recall and not only did they fix the problem but also filled my gas tank for me and a car wash! I got my car back better than when I left it. It was a quick and easy process. They also give you an option of a loaner car if you need it and can't wait for the repair. Highly recommend.

Took my car in for 20K miles check up. I was quoted 90 minutes for completion. The guy helping me was very cordial and seemed helpful. Asked if there was anything else he could do. I asked if they could vacuum the back of the car where the hatch is. He took a note and said no problem.
Fast forward 2 hours: no car. I went to the desk and asked where it was. They said it is just finished and going to be washed.
I paid my $238 (!) for the service. Finally got car back and left the dealership. Opened hatch when I got home - not vacuumed.
Overall not terrible service but also not great.

Excellent...went in for an air bag recall/replacement. Appointment was scheduled within the week. Was offered, but declined a loaner vehicle as the waiting area was so comfortable. Cody checked on me regularly and provided updates. Then (after spending $0.00) was given a full tank of gas and a car wash!! Have never had such a positive experience with any other dealership.

Since the issue was not easily diagnosed, they gave me a loaner vehicle to use until my Lexus was repaired. They kept me informed as to the status of my vehicle by multiple sources. But, web support was horrible...not responsive and inaccurate. I had to call to get straight answers. Loaner car had no gas and it took nearly 30 minutes to get another car. Tire pressure on my car was low in one tire and not corrected during rotation. Has Jiffy Lube surpassed Lexus quality?

I found the car online. I called and was greeted by Alicia who was super professional. I was in Evansville and my biggest concern was making a decision without actually seeing the car in person. Alicia offered to go put her “hands on the car” to assure me of what I was getting. She gave me a full report that made me comfortable - she knew what my concerns were.
Next , Alicia turned me over to Lori who took me through the purchase process. Lori got as much information she could over the phone to reduce the time I’d have to spend when I arrived. When I arrived the whole experience from showroom to signing papers was first class. What a pleasant group of people. The dealership manager even popped in to introduce himself and say thanks for buying at Tom Wood. Signing papers was cool and futuristic with the electronic tables used at Tom Wood.
Lori explained things to me at each step and made the experience personal and pleasant, something I appreciated after driving 3 hours to make a big purchase.
Getting the right vehicle is important, but trusting the seller to take care of you - at purchase and after , even more so. Thanks Alicia and Lori! By the way - thanks for a full tank of gas, fresh oil change and complete detail - it drove like a dream on the way home.

My parents have been loyal customers to Tom Wood Lexus for decades. Throughout the years I’ve met their cool trustworthy service advisors and now that I’m caring for my own vehicle I’ve received nothing but excellent support from my service advisors! As a young woman I’ve never felt taken advantage of here or pressured to spend money that wasn’t necessary for the safety of my car. If you don’t understand something—just ask and they’ll explain it in your terms (so you don’t have to ask your dad later lol). I also love that they lay out your car’s maintenances by level of priority, i.e. “you’ll need new tires in 1-3 months but this other thing can wait 6-12 months before it needs attention” which helps me plan a budget too! They’re super helpful, friendly, and thorough. I recommend asking for Shanan or Dakota—they always treat me like family!
