We went to Houston Auto Sales Inc to look at a 2014 Ford truck we found online without calling first. The truck was as described and pictured on the internet. They gave us all the time we wanted to inspect the truck and take it for a drive while also answering any questions we had. Our experience was not what one typically encounters at an auto dealership. We went to the dealership to sell our 2010 Honda Civic. I tried to be as honest as I could with the condition of the Civic, and their purchasing agent made me an email/text offer based on what I'd told him. When we got to the dealership, Robert did not at all try to play typical auto dealership games of trying to decrease the offer based on whatever he could dream up. I found the perfect Infiniti FX35 the way we wanted it equipped quickly on their site. When i went to the location I was greeted by AJ Black. He was an awesome sales man to interact with. The purchase was a Breeze and Mike the Owner was a real Pleasure to work with. My wife is super happy with her Vehicle, she even has a nickname for it. Emin was pleasant to deal with and made the process very seamless. I was a bit nervous because I had never bought a vehicle online for delivery before. The total process took about 4 days from initial call to delivery. My only criticism was the vehicle had more exterior scratches and damage than what was portrayed in the photos and the video walk around provided by Emin. The scratches were not highly visible due to the silver color of the vehicle however, they were not specifically pointed out either. But, that is part of buying a used vehicle without seeing it in person first. All in all it was a pleasant experience.

Much About Nothing

Most often one of people’s biggest complains when it comes to the vehicle buying/selling process is dealing with the Dealership personnel. 15/10 times our biggest gripes are centered around the amount of time that it may take to execute the deal, feeling like you’re being jerked around or buyer/seller’s remorse. Well, I’m glad to state that I for the first time in the 20 years I’ve been purchasing and trading in vehicles dealt with a Dealership and representative in Robert De Luna at Houston Auto Sales where the process was easy, direct, and not a waste of my time. Robert was very concise about what they could do for me, extremely communicative and made the process flat out easy peasy. If you’re looking for a dealership and representative who’s a straight shooter, go and visit with Robert De Luna at Houston Auto Sales. They may not be the biggest dealer or have the biggest name, but then again, those are the places where you often walk out feeling like you’ve been robbed.

I found Houston Auto Sales by getting an online Kelley Blue Book appraisal. I was connected with them when I sent my info to a few dealers around my area. I got a few appraisals from the big name dealers around town but was pretty much in the beginning stages of seeing what the market is offering. I was not planning on replacing this vehicle so I made sure that dealers did not try to trick me by saying I would get only this amount if I do a trade-in. Robert contacted me via text and set up an appointment at their office. I met with Marc, we went for a test drive and he gave me an offer that was the highest I've received. I was not planning on selling my car that day at all, but he was very patient while I worked to call my bank and get my belongings out. The whole process from foot-in to foot-out the door took less than 90 minutes. Very smooth process and they even gave me a ride home afterwards. Marc is a very knowledgeable and straight-to-the-point guy. There is no pressure or hassle. In short, if you want to sell your car with no headaches and get the highest offer, come here, or at least give them a chance. If I ever need to buy a car, I'll be coming here, 5 stars.

No pushy salesmen here, BEST car buying experience ever. I found them on car guru and from all the places I contacted, they got back to me quicker than anyone else. When I arrived to test drive the car I was interested in, they'd just washed and detailed it and it was immaculate. I mostly dealt with Ghandi (who is awesome!) but every person I saw or spoke with was smiling, friendly and helpful. All of them enjoy their jobs and it shows. They work with whatever credit you have and find a comfortable payment plan. The cars are sold "as is" but they still help with any problems you may notice after you take it home and promptly return calls. I called about something I wanted them to check out and they told me to bring the car in. I was sent home with a NICE loaner and they took care of it. They found the problem and replaced the parts I needed, free of charge. This is the only place I will ever go to again for a car. In a world full of crooks, it's nice to know there are still decent, honest people out there.

I bought Infiniti I35 2003 for $6,400 (including tax) from this place in February. While deciding to purchase the car, Marc let us take the car to a restaurant for lunch, which gave us plenty of time to make a decision. He creates a very family-like environment which is great for the customers. I had some minor issues with the car after purchasing it, but Marc shared some expenses. The issues weren't major, as the mechanics we know fully inspected the car and said the engine and transmission are in great condition. I would highly recommend this dealer to everyone. If you want to purchase a reliable car in a good condition, you should really consider buying a car from here. In the future, I would be more than willing to purchase a car from Houston Auto Sales.

He is the finance manager (but also showed us multiple cars). Make sure to see him, this 5 star review is based on us dealing with him and him alone. Despite me having shaky credit due to past identity theft and being self employed - he still managed to find us fair enough financing when I thought no one else would. We went to other dealerships before coming here and they acted like snobs when we only wanted a used vehicle for 10k or less. That was NOT our experience here at all. I will comment again if the vehicle gives us any issues within the next month but I really don’t think we will have any problems. See Ghandi for your new car, you will not regret it! Edit: Do make sure to check the AC, brake lights, and windshield wipers. We did not do this and all 3 have issues. It is still an amazing price and well below market value, but it was an unexpected expense.

Emin the Russian guy was the representative that helped me purchase the car and his customer service was impeccable! I never felt pressured to make any fast decisions or like he was trying to cheat me in some type of way. The energy was calm and soothing. The entire experience overall was a blessing tbh. I went for a test drive with a Hispanic guy with glasses I can not remember his name I think he was Hispanic lol sorry dude, but he was very informative about the vehicle and very respectful during my test drive he made me feel at ease. My wife and I came across Houston Auto Sales after being contacted by Marc via telephone after filling out information on Kelly Blue Book to get an estimate on a car we wanted to sell. We had already been to car max and were planning on selling the vehicle there when we were contacted by Marc. He stated they would beat the offer made to us by carmax which was already above the KBB estimate. I was a little skeptical that it would work out since we had just gotten the run around after a similar call from a local nissan dealership. When we got to Houston Auto Sales we were seen quickly and they were extremely professional. We met with Marc, he took a look at the carmax report to make sure the vehicle was in the same condition as reported. He took a quick 1-2 minute drive in the car. After returning, we went back into his office and we had a check in hand within 15 minutes. We got there at 9AM and had check in hand by 9:35AM! We were able to come to a mutual decision with Marc regarding the final price fairly quickly. The only drawback was they were short staffed that day due to one of the sales guy being sick so the paperwork took a little longer than we would have liked. Last October I first moved to Houston, and Houston Auto was the first (and later it turned out to be the last) dealership I went to because of their great online reviews. I bought a 2011 Volvo XC 90 from them. Marc was straight forward with all the numbers and the transaction went through smoothly. Their prices are lower compare to Texas Direct Auto or bigger car dealers. However, Texas Direct Auto and bigger car dealers have generally done a better detailing job through third party service. But that adds up in the price. One of the O2 sensors has not passed inspection but Marc and the inspector said that was normal for a car parking in the lot for a while and I need to drive the car over 500 miles before it clears up. I only have the car for less than a week so I will have to wait to post my update. Other than that, I'm happy with the purchase so far.

First let me say that this was a super quick, in and out type of car buying experience that gets talked about but no one can tell you where to go to get it. I checked out the website, sent in an inquiry for availability of a truck I liked before I just showed up. Jeremy (my salesperson) responded within minutes via email and text to let me know it was in fact available. I called and asked if I could come in and check it out that day and he was more than accommodating in getting me in even though he was also assisting other customers. From the time I showed up he was very relaxed and not showing any pressure for me to hurry, or buy the vehicle. I had done my homework and knew what I wanted. We checked out the truck, I took it for a test drive, it met my expectations, and I wanted it. Rick (finance manager) was very helpful. We discussed financial options and he was very thorough in making sure my deal was handled quickly and professionally. I got exactly what I expected and wanted! I could not be happier with my experience!! I showed up at 2pm and was driving my truck home at 4pm. I couldn't have asked for a better or more personal experience. Jeremy and Rick are both great and I recommend giving Houston Auto Sales Inc. a chance while looking to make a vehicle purchase. Awesome job guys!!! Thank you.
