I had never seen a car dealer with so many 5 star ratings so I decided to check them out myself to see if the ratings were true. I was not disappointed. Jake and Patrick laid out my options with great detail and answered all of my questions very honestly. I had a bit of a weird situation with my financing and schedule so they spent hours making sure that I would get the best scenario possible. This isn’t your stereotypical car dealership where a sketchy salesperson will try to con you into a bad deal. This truly is a family business where they care about their customers - something that’s hard to come by in this industry. If you’re in the market for a vehicle, I strongly encourage you to give this place a visit. They offered me a fair price for my used vehicle - much more than another large dealership had offered me. Their inventory is also very reasonably priced; the car I ended up buying was in great condition and below the blue book value! Overall outstanding service!! 5 stars

Recently I bought a special truck from the owner and I know despite it's size being just a little bit too small,only the cab and back seat area where my golden retriever would ride, I have no regrets about a Toyota that can't even be ordered at this time. I'm glad one day we ran into Jake as I did end up actually buying it, close to 60 grand, as he did come down on the price a little, as this truck is appropriate for our environment here on Oahu, where everything is congested, especially parking spaces or stalls, as if I did get a Tundra, as it does look nicer, but it's just a little too big. Tacomas a little too small and Tundras a little too large, what we going to do to make that decision? So I did buy this TRD Pro as this one is even harder to get than the Tundra but even with my connections with Servco Toyota, we did go there to prove to Jason that I finally did actually go there despite he had left for the day, as I wasn't happy as it was a white Tundra Platinum, maybe it wasn't sparkling but it would have costed around $13,000 more as costs isn't a factor, I just wanted something of the best as that's always my goal, especially buying a new car or truck! And I consider myself lucky to have bought this from the great people ...Jake and Pat (Patrick Murray) as well with Logan, Moani and the rest at The Car Shop as I just had it ceramic coated over the weekend. (can't see what photos I'm using but hopefully I got the right ones)

By far the best customer service/family like establishment I’ve encountered. Moani and Jake are two top tier professionals who showed they truly care by their actions and not just their words. 5 stars isn’t enough to rate this place. If you’re thinking about purchasing a used car in Hawaii, this is the place to be! My family and I are far away from family but as soon as we arrived, we felt right at home when were greeted with joy by Logan. Jake, the owner, genuinely cares about his customers and made sure we got the best deal possible. We were blown away by the courtesy, professionalism, and service we received today. Given a last minute notice, the car shop also serviced our other vehicle for a state inspection and got it done within a timely manner. If we could give a higher rating, we would.

I’ve been going here for 3 years for a safety check on my car. Every time they have been so friendly and the best. Last time, they squeezed me in even though they didn’t have to since I didn’t know I was supposed to make an appt and I was so grateful for that act that they have my business for as long as they are open and I can keep coming back. Fantastic experience. Previously had tried taking our car to a Firestone by PH and had the absolute worst time. After over and hour and a half they failed the car for a minor crack (nickel size) in the windshield that had been repaired by safelite. We took both our van and fit here after that and we were in and out in 30 minutes all while being warmly welcomed by Bill. The only sad part is we are moving soon and won’t be able to come back every time going forward. Best customer experience we’ve had since living here. Go here, you won’t regret it

Exceptional Service. Went in for an annual safety check of my vehicle on 2-16-2022 and was met with extreme courtesy and friendliness. Safety check was done with efficiency. They primarily have used cars for sale; while I was there, Jake and team were completing a very thorough inspection and hand wash of a vehicle, no doubt prepping it for its happy, new owner. I bought a car from Jake and Logan, a father/son team. They were a pleasure to work with. I live on Maui so they had to.ship the car from Oahu to Maui. The process of buying the car, shipping/receiving, and registering the car was so easy!!! They were easy to get a hold of and they always returned my call in record time. They answered all my questions honestly so I was totally satisfied with the car I was about to buy. I was a little nervous at first because I bought thr car unseen and with no test drive. That turned out to be wasted energy. People, do not get nervous about buying from them, even if you are on a different island. From the first time I spoke.to Logan to receiving the car Maui took a total of 8 days That's eight days including a weekend. That included the sales contract, money exchange and shipping. I picked up the car from Young Brothers without any problems. I gave them my name and they gave me the keys to car! That took about five minutes. Then I received all the paperwork (title, registration, safety) in the mail a couple days after. I took everything they sent me and brought it to.the DMV in Maui. Ten minutes later, I had a new title and registration with my name, new plates (was a business plate), and sticker. Plus, the car is awesome. It is exactly.what they said it was so I did not feel misled at all. If you are thinking g of buying a car from these folks, just do it. No.need to ponder over it. No need to wait. Jake and Logan will get it done for you! You will not be disappointed!!!

I have purchased many vehicles in my life and don't usually post about this kind of thing however, I have to say the experience at The Car Shop was exceptional. It was a no pressure purchase that was smooth and easy. The team was very friendly, helpful and patient. I was on the phone a lot with my wife who couldn't go with me to ask and answer questions. We were there around lunch and the owner even shared his wife's chicken adobo with me and my son...it was greatly appreciated and very thoughtful of him. The chicken adobo had amazing flavor by the way! This was the best choice we could have made for our used vehicle purchase and we are happy with the total experience..all the cars and trucks were a higher quality than other places on island we have seen. It will be the place I go for my son's first vehicle.

Customer service is exceptional!!!.I went to another used car dealer before coming to the car shop hawaii (I wont say names), and the previous dealership I went too made me worry about the quality of service I would get from a used car dealership. However the car shop hawaii changed my opinion. All of the sales people here are amazing, they aren't in the business of pushing out cars just to get them off the lot and genuinely care about whether the vehicle is right for you. You won't find a lemon here because these guys actually do the safety checks ( I watched them assisting other customers with making sure their vehicle was safe to drive). On top of that when I went to go view my 2004 chevy express van Bill made sure my v6 engine would be powerful enough to truck around any equipment id be carrying. They worked with me on financing and my options for paying for the car. Shoutout to Jake and Logan for helping us with all the paperwork and making the experience fast and easy. They went out of their way to expedite the process for us & make things seamless. I believe all vehicles have a carfax report. Bought a 2010 Kia Optima from them back in December of 2016 for $5600. When I left the island I had it shipped to San Diego and then drove it all the way home to Ohio, with no problems. When I was checking out the car, I noticed one of the tires were dangerously low on tread and needed to be replaced if I was gonna buy it. They replaced that tire and paid for it themselves and didn't add that onto the price. Good people, would buy from them again.
