I decided to wait for my car at the dealership while it was being serviced. Normally that would be at least an hour, so I had come prepared to hanker down and get some emails answered but in about 30 minutes they said they were done! Wow, I was so pleasantly surprised. Ashley was superb in managing the routine servicing of my Leaf. I had a problem with one of my key FOBs. I changed the battery, but I used the wrong battery. The key FOB still didn't work. Ashley replaced the battery with the correct battery and my key FOB works fine now. I'm so thankful for her assistance! Kudos to her and your team.

The moment I pulled in for my scheduled service, Nissan Service Personnel (Gavin) greeted me even before I could turn my engine off!!!
That's a 10 score from the start!!!
I submitted my input of the low tire pressure warnings I've been having, and from there I was told the required services would take approximate 1-1/2 hours, BUT it was way less time than that.
Gavin met with me in the waiting area and presented me of all required repairs and results.
The total due amount was beyond my expectations!!!
I was estimating the Nissan Service would extract $300+ from my wallet, BUT it cost me less than 1/4 of my anxiety.

Antonio provided excellent service starting with ordering the specific model car with all the features that we requested back in May of this year. He explained all the extensive features of the car in great detail. Located on N King St jus passed Middle Street Intersection easily visible from the street. Got a GREAT SERVICE AGENT ASHLEY who really takes care of everything. Just call her directly to schedule a day, drop the car off at 0630, have it serviced, washed and this time needed a ride from home to pick the car up when it was complete so she sent a complimentary Uber ride and left very SATISFIED! May cost a few more dollars then other places but can't beat the personal service keeps bringing you back. See you in a few months Ash! MAHALO! 👍

We were referred to New City Nissan (NCN) by a relative. Arnel greeted us as we looked at the Pathfinders that we were interested in. Arnel explained the many accessories and options of the (3) Pathfinders that we were looking at. We previously owned a 2001 Pathfinder and she loved it. Arnel & I suggested that my wife drive around the lot to get the feel of driving the larger 2022 Pathfinder. I took a longer test drive & the wife enjoyed the ride & comfort. She decided on the color so the purchase paperwork was started. During the entire buying process, there was no pressure, we felt attended to and assisted in our decision to purchase the Pathfinder. NCN went the extra mile to find a better interest rate then my credit union offered, so that will end up saving us some $$ in the end.

I had issues with the key not turning in the ignition. I've had this problem with the key in the past. I thought I would get some new keys made for spare. What I didn't know is the key needs re-programming with the vehicle and required a service appointment.
The situation was an emergency and I needed the key(s) to start the van.
The receptionist instructed me to ask a service representative to see if I could get it done that day. Thankfully, I spoke to Gavin Garcia and he immediately checked his computer and took my issue to heart. He told me to pull my van into the garage and he would get it done for me in 45 minutes. Thanks to Gavin and his GREAT empathy and his outstanding customer service!

New City Nissan here in Honolulu deserves more stars than what are provided on this Google review. It is sad, but I speak honestly when I say that their Aloha is what makes them distinct as a business on island (imo). They truly are a beacon of Aloha and it is apparent to me that the spirit of Aloha is operating at all levels, and with all their business representatives.
I owe a special thank you to Shane Lolotai, who sold me my Nissan Leaf, and to Derrick Murakami, who worked hard to get me a finance plan that matched my needs.
Shane is an upstanding sales-man, although it didn't feel like he was trying to "sell" me anything. Rather, it felt like he was employing a wealth of product-knowledge and personable skills to set me up with a vehicle that would truly transform my life for the better.
Derrick, as well, employed all the resources and skills that he had at his disposal to make me feel like I was not just a valued customer, but a valued community member.
I cannot recommend New City Nissan enough. Everyone should buy their cars here, for life!

Everything was great until I opened the passenger side window for the first time since we took the vehicle (2019 Nissan Frontier) home. A sort of what appeared to be a gasket of the window was pulled off its track when I closed it & left a glue-like smudge on the glass.
Unacceptable for a what is supposed to be a new vehicle! I wish to return the vehicle.

I don’t know if the work was performed right the first time. I know I had a recall and that was supposed to be fixed along with the maintenance/oil change I had on my vehicle. The next day I notice jerking feeling when I go from zero to 35, up hills, pressing the gas etc. I did call the service department because this is something I had no issues with prior. I had to make another appointment in order for the issue to get looked at so I haven’t drove my vehicle since because I want to be on the safe side. I rated met expectation because I was told it would take two hours for the service to be done and it did, I had a safe area to wait in, and the staff was nice.

for years i would squeeze when traveling as i only had like 45 miles. It forced me to drive conservatively but we had to use the other family car for longer runs.
the new batter was like a brand new start for us. I wished it would have been like some of the 250 miles that newer cars get but I cannot complain

Your dealership was 1 of the only 2 places on the island that had my tire in stock. But, they were booked and said that they couldn’t see me till1/26. I was like oh no, I drive over the Pali daily. With the recent heavy rain, I couldn’t wait 2-3 weeks. Berns (spelling 😬) was so helpful, he said they can try to squeeze me in, but it’ll be about a 2 hour, 45 minute wait. I did not mind the wait. Your waiting area was welcoming, seating was spaced out for social distancing and chairs were very comfortable! Thank you New City Nissan, you’ve gained a new customer!

Arrived a little earlier before check-in time. You guys should not leave a car parked to the left of the entrance. It makes it difficult to line up before the doors open because customers may block traffic. Otherwise everything went smoothly as far as shuttle service and service and communication with the service advisor.

Just came in for a recall and to have a spare key made. I bought my Frontier from a third party dealer and it’s the first vehicle I’ve owned in 10 years, so I didn’t know where to get repairs done! NCN pointed out a few things that needed attention and was able to help me out the next week. I had to do the safety recall for the front brake sensor and general maintenance. Maintenance is alway quick. I just wish there was more information on the recall, they said it was just a software update. I also wish they could have some sort of price match for services not covered under maintenance or warranty work. Ware and tear items items like tires and brakes and brake lines maintenance are big bucks, I'd give them the business if they could match the price of other competitors.
This is my long term report.
Gotta look at there website for specials on things like breaks and oil changes. I lucked out had to get my breaks done. Went to get a quote at 1 place and figure that would be the best price, boy was I wrong went online to look at the owner portal and low and behold they had a special and it was almost half what I was quoted from the other shop. I was always under the impression the dealership would be the most pricey. Gotta do your homework. Best to make appointments but they do take walk ins if needed. Staff is friendly.

It has surpassed my expectations. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Janelle who assisted me since Jason is no longer there. She treated me with utmost respect and kept me informed on the progress of my service.
While I was waiting for my vehicle, I was cleaning my purse and was frantically looking for my military work CAC card. I was lacking a ton of sleep and thought I had disposed it in the trash.
Hoping I would find it at home and after tearing my living room apart, it wasn’t there and called Janelle to painfully ask if I could have the trash bags to dig through to find it. Unfortunately, losing this card has repercussions with my job and at the time thought I would do anything to find it.
On my way to the dealership, Janelle called me and told me that due to the pandemic, the trash is thrown every hour. My heart sank knowing I would have to dumpster dive. Sadly, I could not reach the bags in the dumpster and realized I would need to face the inevitable.
The next day, I received a call from Courtney who gave me the best news that my CAC card was found by a maintenance worker who was cleaning the couch I was on. I was so excited and happy that your team of incredibles (Janelle, Courtney, and maintenance worker) helped me from having to face my client regarding lost property. They all need tons of kudos and it’s service like this that keeps me coming back!!

As usual very good service from scheduling my appt to paying for my service when completed. Within the time expected, waited at dealership no problem. The only thing that was unsat was the service advisor told me upon completion at the register area that my vehicle was also washed. My car was not washed or if it was it was a sloppy sloppy job which actually my car was dirtier than when I dropped it off. I dont think it was the service advisors fault but the employee(s) that are assigned to wash cars. Poor quality that leaves a bad last impression of Nissan Service Center.

Just before my scheduled routine maintenance, my car battery failed. I called Nissan desperate to get my car in and they obliged. Mark offered to take the car on a stand-by basis saying it could take at least two days. Not only did my battery get replaced, but the maintenance that was schedule for the following week was done too. The best part about this whole situation was getting my car back the following afternoon!

I visited New city Nissan to have regular maintenance (engine oil change, brake fluid flush, tire rotation and etc.) and to solve some issues on my car. This is my 3rd visit for the maintenance and Ashley helped me this time. She is a very thoughtful and trustworthy advisor. She answered all my questions properly even if I had a lot of questions with my poor English. Also, she gave me some advice on maintenance.
I've had a lot of bad experiences such as lying, overcharge, not finishing at other local repair shops and tire shops which have a great review on Yelp yet. I thought all the shops in Hawaii is like that. However, I have no doubt that New City Nissan's service has changed my thought totally positively. I know that the dealership service might be expensive than other shops but, I've always re-checked their completed jobs after pick-up my car. So, I can say that they always provide more and better service than what I've expected. I hope that they keep this high-quality customer service constantly. I will stop by there again to change my rear camera when it's delivered to them. Mahalo!

I had a list of things for them to work on, the most urgent was this constant rattle. They figured out where the rattle was coming from and fixed it. They're a busy place so plan on being there for a while, I was there for 5 hours but they did A LOT: changed the oil, serviced the truck, took care of the rattle, did a safety inspection, got me 4 new tires (there was a buy 3 get one for $1 sale so I got a new set...it was time), added something for the alignment, and put on new wipers. I know there are probably other places to go that are a bit cheaper, but here it's all in one place and everything is Nissan parts.

I was there with my mom, husband, and 1 1/2 year old son. Picking out the car was easy. We went in with an all cash deal and made that clear once we made our decision. It was getting close to lunch time and I needed to feed my son. We were told that we were almost done. That was around 1pm. My husband left to go to jack in the box to pick up a cheeseburger for my son, but he, my mom, and myself decided to wait since we were supposed to be done soon. We did not leave the dealership until 4:30 PM. The sales person was great, but the overall experience was poor given the long wait times and poor communication about what was taking so long. To be honest, we felt like hostages at the dealership and my poor son was borderline going to have a melt down because we also ran into his nap time. I get that "sealing the deal" is important, but I did not feel like they put my family 1st. Rather the sale was the most important. I guess the plus side is that we got the car for a good price and my family loves it.

The friendly staff! After driving in the morning traffic to get there I can get a little grumpy, but the staff there always put a smile on my face. From the greeters to the shuttle drivers. This visit however, Ashley was able to help me decide on tires. I've never purchased tires before and she went out of her way to email me information/prices on two different tires to compare. I really appreciate her going out of her way to get me that information. She's super friendly and really easy to talk to. She made sure to call and update me and also did a follow up to check up on how the tires were. I wish I could give 5 stars, but I had a bit of an issue with my car's registration and safety sticker being expired when I bought it. I would still recommend New City, as they followed through on all promises, fixed the issue, and gave me a refund of administrative fees, but the process did take several months. On a more positive note, my salesman Antonio was very responsive to my texts after I had already bought the car, and he worked hard to make sure my issue was corrected as quickly as possible. If you go to this location, I highly recommend Antonio, and if he gets a new job elsewhere, go see him there!

The only disappointment was that the mechanic did not reset the computer system. That means, everytime I start the car, I will get a reminder for an engine tuneup needed. OMG. I came in with a unexpected flat tire while heading home and the first service member I had was not welling to do much to help with the price because I was not expecting to pay almost $300 for one tire plus the oil change I requested. But I am guessing he was going thru shift change and was just ready to go home so he was not truly trying to help me. But the second person that came in and took over for him and my car helped me a lot and came to sit with me and informed me that I should truly get two tires because it would not be safe and gave me a military discount and some adjustments on my oil change so the $300 I was going to pay just for one tire plus taxes and oil change only came out to $553 for two tires plus a oil change and taxes included. I was truly grateful because my tire going out on me was not planned in my day or budget. I really wish I remembered his name but he was awesome 😎

Extremely courteous staff (service dept). As soon as I arrived I was offered a water and greeted properly. There's a courtesy shuttle van as well, to take you back home/work while you wait for your car repair. The quote for repair was very high, so after the diagnostic, we did the repairs ourselves, but the experience was surprisingly pleasant. If you have to wait around there's a new shave ice and bubble tea place not too far from the Jack in the Box.

My friend recommended visiting this dealership because she really liked the salesman who helped her. So I also talked to Cory Asuncion, the sales consultant who took my info, sat with me for a test drive, and negotiated a lease term for me. Honestly, Cory is by far the best salesman I've ever dealt with, because he provided amazing customer service. By that I mean, he had smiles on his face throughout the whole time I was there (about 6hr), and he was 100% friendly & attentive even though I was asking him to do something difficult. Overall, he was just super helpful in terms of making things work with the budget I had. What really impressed me was that even Mark Clarito, the manager, showed me a friendly attitude during the price negotiation phase, and he was able to help me lower the cost. Getting back on track...my service advisor this time really listened to me, and promised me that he would have the mechanics look into the car closely, then called me when he got the results to let me know the status. He also offered to wash my car for free, which may seem like nothing, but was truly the extra step. I forget his name, but he truly exemplified great customer service.

The service representative was very nice. The tire repair is covered under my Pre Maintenance Agreement; I brought the original copy. However, my service rep said the warranty for the repair has expired. The PMA says:” .. This PMA provides reimbursement for your tire repair costs or replacement of covered tire(s) for the term of the plan or a maximum of 36 months on the 48- and 60 months plans, whichever is less,…”
I have not had this car for 36 months or more, and I have the 60 month plan. She still insisted and apologized that it was not covered. I try to avoid arguing so I just ended up paying for the repair. I dont know why the information that’s in your system and the information thats on the PMA contract is different. Pretty frustrating.

Another thing she does for me is that she had my car washed each time I take my car in for service. That is extra and I had a fall and cannot wash my car after my injury. That was a big help for me!

Just to explain this, I had purchased at brand new Nissan Kick in late 2018. I bought this car for my daughter as my wife and I were leaving the island and my daughter was remaining behind to finish college.
Unfortunately, this Nissan Kick was anything but reliable and it spent more time in your maintenance facility than my previous 5 cars combined. When I came back for a visit here in March of 2021, the issues were presenting themselves again and I'd had enough of the issues.
I came into the dealership on 14 March 2021 and the efforts of Derek Kam, Miles Suguitan, and Derrick Murakami were absolutely phenomenal. I explained my situation, showed all the work that has been done on the 2018 Kick and there only response was what can we do to make this right. That blew my mind away, then they bought my 2018 Kick from me for more than what I owed, got my daughter into a 2020 Kick, exact same maintenance package, extended warranty and even tinted the windows as I had with the 2018.
Zero money down, 0% financing and I'm only pay about 4 dollars more than I was on the 2018. No arguments, no fuss, just the commitment of making a bad situation correct. All in all spent about three hours at the lot and walked off extremely happy and a very satisfied customer. The team there was very helpful and truly went out of there way to ensure my daughter was in a safe and reliable car, giving me and her mother piece of mind.
I am truly thankful for the New City Nissan team and would like to say thank you to Derek Kam, Miles Suguitan, and Derrick Murakami. Again, amazing customer service and truly remarkable performance by your team there.

The car's battery would completely fail to start the engine on 3 occasions within a month. After a jump start it would work fine for about a week and then unexpectedly go completely dead again.
We came to service after the third failure.
We did not have an appointment but service checked in the car and replaced the battery. Since then there have been no dead battery issues.

I had called to make an appointment to bing my Rogue in for servicing but was unable to contact anyone. When I went on NCN's webpage, I found out that the Service Department
was closed from 8/26/20 till 8/31/2020. I was able to make an appointment for 9/14/2020. When I arrived for my appointment Mervie Cui met me. H e indicated that he couldn't find my appointment on their calendar but was able to accommodate me.
I had requested an oil change rotation of tires and a safety check. He told me that since I had less than 8,000 miles that the tire were in great condition and no tire rotation was needed. I would like to commend MervieWhen the servicing was completed I asked if my rogue had been washed. He told me that the washing station was out of order. I told him that I was 78 years old, lived in an apartment, and needed to haul bucket of water and a step stool down the elevator to my parking stall. He made arrangements to have the car hand washed. He also recommended that on the next service appointment, I should have the rear windshield wiper checked and if need be, replaced.

Your staff at New City Nissan Service is the best. I had left my mom with a caregiver so I could do some errands when my car started to act strange. Not wanting to be stuck somewhere without any transportation to get back to my mom, I drove my car to New City Nissan. When I arrived, I was told that there were no appointments for the day. After I explained what was going on with my mom, Chandler Miller, the service manager found a slot for my car repair. When I asked about a rent a car, he said that there were none available but he would arrange for a rent a car from Enterprise. He then drove me to Enterprise and made sure I was ok and all set up before he left. You have a customer for life! I switched a few years ago from Tony Nissan because of various problems with their integrity. I have never regretted it as New City Nissan is always so helpful and goes beyond the call to ensure I am taken care of and that only what needs to be addressed is actually addressed. I go there religiously for my oil changes. My windshield wiper fluid sprayer had not been working since I bought the car used in 2017 (from another dealer). My service rep Berniece (Berns, I think he goes by) was great. I didn't want to pay for the diagnostic of $160 because, worse case scenario, it would be pushing $500 to replace the motor including the diagnostic fee so we decided that I would live with a non usable windshield fluid sprayer. However I told him that if I knew that that was the case, that it was the motor, I would pay the $300 to replace it. In other words I didn't want to pay a diagnostic fee and then pay the high price to replace everything The other option was to replace the pump motor without the diagnostic and hope and pray that that was the solution but I did not want to do that because "what if it didn't work" and that the pump motor wasn't the problem. We decided to leave it be but unbeknownst to me, Berns had it checked out for me at no charge and found out it was indeed the pump and we replaced it and it works like a charm. So I didn't pay the $160 diagnostic but because of his good will effort I did pay for a part and about an hour of labor so I think it was a win win for me and new City Nissan. So thanks to you guys for always going out of your way for me. I travel between the mainland and Hawaii for business and keep my Nissan Rogue on the island and have to have it working pristinely at all times because reliable transportation is very important to me. I love you guys and trust you with my vehicle always. Thank for your great service and a big thank you to Berns!!!!!

I missed the payments a few times last year because Nissan didn’t indicate my apartment number on the bills which didn’t reach me. I brought up my account to current immediately after I realized the delinquency, but Nissan has already reported to credit card companies which made my credit significantly low. Well our 2009 se Altima had an alternator replaced. I’m positive it was installed correctly but these things happen where after it was installed it failed after we drove it home. Shuttle did not to pick me up at 3:30pm nor received a phone call or text message. I am aware that due to Covid shuttle is expected to be delayed so I waited for 30minutes. I reached out to Ralon at 4pm wondering when the shuttle will be arriving and told me I should have already been picked up. However, he was apologetic and I appreciated that. Since shuttle stops running at 3:30pm they had ordered me uber which came at 4:15pm. I got to Nissan Kalihi at 4:45pm. Communication with the shuttle service could be better. Aside from from that, Ralon was overall friendly and helpful.

He said that if I did the tire rotation, there would be no charge for the oil change. I told him ok. They also replaced a defective sensor, checked all the fluids and washed my vehicle. I was very pleased that the bill was less then what I expected.

I recently purchased a car from them and had it shipped to the Big Island. Of the 3 Nissan dealers I dealt with, they were the most organized and responsive, and very professional. 5 years ago I bought a Nissan from another dealer to have shipped and it was incredibly frustrating. Working with Derek was no nonsense and he followed up, always got back to me almost immediately day or night and kept his word. No high-pressure anything. No trying to pressure me on some expensive coating. He was also flexible in getting an accessory installed exactly in the location of the car that I wanted and was not standard. He stuck to his word and when I noticed a certain fee had gone up $4 he was quick to correct it. Overall a pretty easy and painless process!

We had been to several dealerships throughout the day, we are on a time crunch, but not so much that we are going to be taken advantage of. We dealt with Huey. He came and greeted us at the car, walked with us through the lot, made small talk as appropriate, when I was interested in a car, immediately he asked if I wanted to sit in it, or drive the car. We asked to make an offer, and even if the offer was low he didn't act rude, or pushy. We ended up getting an '09 Murano, left same day with the car. Even though the normal sales banter went on with him and another representative I felt as though it was always done in a respectful manor. They really were willing to work with us, help us out and get us into a new car. They offered us water or drinks several times, let us borrow a computer, helped work through problems and questions. Although we did not finance through them, they never pushed us to finance with them, or pushed us to fill out a credit application. We were not planning on walking in and buying a car the same day, but they let us have our time to talk about it, and call other people we wanted to discuss our options with. Would definitely recommend working with them!

Went in to pick up a set of cross bars for my '13 XTerra's roof rack the other week. I feel like the only way for the "vultures" standing outside to top their attentativeness was too open the door of my vehicle for me. I am not opposed to this, honestly - it was spot on. Justin was my salesman and he was honest and when he was unable to answer some questions he asked one of his co-worker. He was new and I appreciate that he admitted that he did not know the answer instead of making up things.
The finance manager, I forgot his name, was a people person. Greeted me with my first name. He was a full of energy. The whole atmosphere at the dealership was lively.
I was able to get zero percent interest on my car which what I was looking for. Before this, I was at Honolulu Ford and they gave me 4% APR even though I had a good credit score. We also went to Servco Toyota and they too gave us 4% APR.
Overall, this is a good place to start looking for a new car or used car. Check out their website, it is pretty up-to-date and they use quality camera to get all the details on their photos.

AWESOME!!! My wife and I live on Kauai and trying to find the car in the color and options we wanted was difficult. We got a hold of Ke'ali'i Mahoe online and he was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was patient enough to work with us over the course of a couple of weeks going between the Rouge Sport and Rouge model at different price points. We finally decided on the 2018 Rouge SV model, and we were able to work out all the pricing via email. Ke'ali'i was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process and he got us a great deal on the new vehicle. When it came time to make the purchase they picked us up from the airport and had the car ready to inspect and drive for us. All of the paperwork was ready for us and we never felt any pressure during the transaction. We were able to get in and out the door with the purchase of our new car within a few hours, and they brought us back to the airport to catch the flight home. My wife commented that it was such an easy and smooth transaction and it was a very fun and exciting experience. Ke'al'i and the staff will also take care of all the details and delivery of the vehicle to have it shipped back to us on Kauai.
