Awesome experience working with Roger to find the car I needed. My credit sucks, so I wasn't sure I'd get approved, but they made it happen. 2 grand down payment and $500/month is better than I ever expected. I went into the dealership after going to multiple dealers during the day. I’m very big on service and not being pushed into buying a vehicle right away. Today I can say I had an amazing experience😁 while purchasing a vehicle. The quality of work, and customer service they provided was better than most dealers I have ever been. Mind you this is not my first vehicle I have purchased, I had five in the past. Mr Lazar Joseph who was my sales person was very patient, very helpful. One of the most important things to me is honesty, Mr Lazar was very honest and genuine that I was impress. So impress that I am here writing this review. The last person I worked with was Mr. Jason Hattori. He is the sales manager who sits with you at the end to try to make you add additional packages to your vehicle purchase. I was expecting another pushy person (like the ones from the other dealers) who just wants you to add more to have a bigger sale.I was totally wrong!! He was also very genuine, I can say I didn’t really add much. I made my own decisions and moved out. At all times he was very helpful, patient and explained every question I had without making me feel like I need it to add more to my purchase. The type of service I receive when making a vehicle purchase is really important to me. I want to be fully happy and no regrets. If I pick a vehicle and I don’t like it later is on me because I picked it, if I didn’t add an additional package to my purchase and I need it later is on me. So when I purchase a vehicle I like to take my time, let me know what they have available, answer my questions and just let me make my decisions. That’s what happened today, so no regrets! If the employees ( Mr. Lazar, and Mr. Jason) from the dealer read this review I want to thank you both, you both did an amazing job, thank you!

Joseph Lazar deserves a special mention, even though he has only recently joined the organization, his imperturbable demeanor and refined social behavior put me at ease and prevented me from feeling pressured like many other salespeople do. I visited several vehicle dealerships before coming to JN Chevy, but no one ever came up to me and asked if I needed help or what brought me there; in fact, I had to look around the parking lot and office to find a salesperson. Mr. Lazar welcomed me as I exited my car; he listen to what I had to say and did not try to talk over me like most salespeople do. He was honest because he didn't hesitate to look me in the eye while providing me with details about the car I was interested in. When talking to Joseph Lazar, I would frequently catch myself forgetting that he was a sales associate and not a relative, on a rating of 1 to 10 the JN Chevrolet group would be a definite 10 . I had a good overall experience at JN Chevy. Everyone I interacted with, including the General Sales Manager Jason Hattori, Financial Manager, Andrew Davis and sales representatives, seemed really interested in assisting me in finding the ideal vehicle. GM needs to improve on vehicle information to consumers and take the mystery out of trying to order from Hawaii. The sales person does the best they can but often says they don’t know when or what kind of Bolt is coming in. We are buying on faith since there is no test drive available and we rely on YouTube for details about the Bolt.

Limited stock on hand but I understand with that as the whole nation is coming out of covid restrictions and supply is not up to par yet. I like the pricing, up forward with what I should expect on a new vehicle. Did not purchase any vehicle as I was looking for a certain vehicle and there wasn't any correct one.

Bought a used car, Guyson and Mark were very helpful in guiding me through their inventory and patient while I decided what I wanted. Walked out to the parking lot a few times to see different makes and models at different price points. I really liked that they did not have a big mark-up on the price of their used cars in spite of the current scarcity on the island. Their price was in line with the blue book value which was great. We came to JN just to check out the cars on the lot, as we have been looking at cars for the past 2 weeks. As soon as we pulled in, Guyson came onto the lot to meet us. He took the time to get to know us and our needs, and proposed a few cars that were within our preferences and budget. We ended up choosing a Hyundai Tucson with very low mileage at a competitive price. He was super helpful with the entire process, even staying late to get the car ready for us so we could leave the lot the same day with the car. Although we were initially approved at a decent APR, Guyson and the JN team were able to secure us an even LOWER APR a few days later. Overall, it was a smooth process and we're very grateful for Guyson and the JN team's help in finding us our first car.

Ryan, our first salesperson, was very good. He was very polite,low pressure, and patient. My wife and I test drove several cars over two weeks and finally settled on purchasing a 2018 used Volt with 5600 miles, almost in brand new condition. We love our car. The detailing crew forgot to put the charging cable back in the car, but Ryan and another person in sales gave us a brand new charging cable. Score!! Our second salesperson, Luke, was a tough negotiator, but he remained courteous and polite. He was also very patient as we can be tough negotiators as well. In the end, Luke got us a good and fair deal for the car. It was a long car buying experience, but worth it. Again, we love our car and the deal was more than fair. Andrew, the warranty guy, was very personable. We connected with him because he was also a dog person. He didn’t try to push warranties that we didn’t want and was very patient with our many questions and ran different scenarios (disappearing deductible, different deductible amounts, etc.). He even showed us his dog car seat so that we can get a similar one for our dog. Jason, the manager, was courteous and friendly. We appreciate his support of his staff and agreeing to the final negotiated amount. The staff stayed until we were ready and the car was ready even though the dealership had closed. The staff put extra effort to make sure we were satisfied with the purchase and understood how to operate the car because it’s our first electric car. We’re considering purchasing another vehicle from JN Chevrolet and expect the same level of professionalism and service. Aloha, Ryan, Luke, Andrew, and Jason.

Dealership is moving to another location I understand, but the model showcases and front of the business should always be presentable. Feels like I’m walking into a run down 3rd world country dealership. Doesn’t excite or makes me feel wanted. The staff are extremely helpful though some of the employees need training in customer service. No greetings and mahalo for my business. I had to call Cutter Chevrolet to book an appointment to look into my convertible top; in which it is making noises. The first service on my 2021 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible 2LT RS was booked for 8:15am. Received call 12:39pm saying my car was ready and “we don’t have time to look into the problem of my convertible top, we don’t have anyone to look into it”. “Next available time is May 30th”. It’s April 14th, way to long for a new car. Anyways, this will be my last purchase of a Chevrolet. I will be buying a Ford F150. Mahalo, Jei Bae CFO

Well it wasn't the car I expected to drive away with , but it's very understandable because of my credit score . The sales person Mark did a great job getting me to a comfortable monthly payment, even though I wanted an equinox , the car that he set me with was just about the same , so for now, this will do, like they say dreams gotta be put on hold, but you always can go back to it later.

Service rep understood the problem with my truck and courteously provided an educated analysis. Upon the technicians further inspection they promptly ordered the replacement screen display without hesitation. Much better then Cutter Chevy who doubted the problem, asked a bunch of nonsense questions and wanted me to do a daily monitoring and recording of the problem.

Update March 2020. I had a great experience with the sale but not with the service dept. If you value your time, I suggest getting service done elsewhere. I scheduled an appt for an oil change for 10am on a Tuesday. I arrived early, at 9:45am, and asked how long until it would be finished. I was told (even though I had an appt) my truck would not be seen until after 11am and not finished until 1pm (that's more than 3 hours for an oil change, a 15 min job...with an appointment)! So I left. It's baffling and indicates the appointment means nothing. For that I reduced my rating from 5 stars (excellent) to 3 stars (average). I still think the sales team is great and recommend JN for a purchase. Original post. Had a great experience buying a new truck here. Recommend you ask for Luke in sales. He'll shoot you straight and help you arrive at a mutually beneficial deal. Very happy and I will return for some add-ons in the future.

If I lived and worked closer and didn't get a discounted price for normal maintenance at a shop closer to me, I'd probably take for all my servicing. There are 3 people that need to be recognized for the OUTSTANDING customer service in getting my wife into a 2019 Chevy Traverse - Mike Marcelin (salesman), Braven (sales manager), and Robert Fox (Finance Specialist). Mike is a totally non-pushy salesman that wanted to know what it take to make a sale. My #1 priority was to pay less than MSRP (minus the big typical island markup). Mike worked with Braven to craft a deal that was fair to both me and the dealership - the first time around, no haggling. If they had not crafted this deal, we were ready to accept the Kia dealers offer on a 2019 Sodona that same evening - hey had already agreed to a price less than MSRP. Mike and Braven got my wife into her true preference - a 2019 Traverse...made her one happy customer!!! Then, we received SUPERB customer service from Robert Fox. He found us the best loan rate on the island, better than my credit union and my bank. Then, he gave us a tremendous deal on all the additional add on protections that I typically NEVER buy - like, extended warranty, prepaid maintenance, wheel and tire protection, dent/ding protection, etc. He max'ed my eligible discounts and made them an obvious choice. All of this without any high pressure sales pitch - just one military vet to another. Both the car sale and the add-on protections were WITHOUT any haggling. Great, great new car sales experience. Highly recommend J&N Chevrolet and these fine gentlemen!!!

Back story, I drive a GMC Sierra, and have been going to JN Chevy since I first bought my truck from the dealership next door (Honolulu GMC/Cadillac). I go to JN Chevy because I had an issue right after I bought my truck and the Honolulu gmc dealership said I would have to leave my truck with them for 14 days to address the problem, I laughed and brought my truck next door to JN Chevy and the service consultant said he couldn’t promise me a time but would fit it in between appointments that day....needless to say 3 hours later my truck was returned to me and ever since then, I always go to JN Chevy Vice Honolulu GMC

Had an appointment for 11:30 to have my front license plate bracket installed. Arrived at 11:15 and was promptly received ✅. The job took about an hour and a half to complete (no idea why) but then they gave me a free car wash which was a huge plus. Overall my appointment which probably should’ve taken 15 minutes took over two hours after the free car wash. So not good but not too bad. Afterwards I received an email from a no reply saying I missed my appointment which is odd. Not a big deal though . Waiting area upstairs is okay and there’s free WiFi, coffee, tea, and popcorn. And some cool new cars like the new ZR1.

First time buying a truck and first time buying Chevy. I went to Servco Chevolet Waipahu first but didn't quite get the service I was looking for. Down there, no one approached me for over 45 minutes until I finally emailed them inquiring about a truck on their website while I sat outside their showroom waiting for a sales person . Once, that sales person called and met him in person he told me the truck is not available in the lot but will be available in a 3-4 days. I was fine with it and when I asked to test drive one similar, they didn't have one. Moreover, he tried to get me interested in a Toyota Tacoma instead and added that the Colorado drive is very 'Stiff'. I ended up not looking for anything else there and went home. The next day I called JN Chevrolet Honolulu and spoke with a customer service agent named Toyo and he was very helpful. He said the truck I was interested in is in the lot and available to look at and would be able to hold for a couple of hours.. He told me to look for a manager named Braven or James. Once I got there, I was greeted immediately by an employee who introduced to Braven, who then introduced me to one of their sales specialist name Anthony Au. Anthony was very informative and showed me the truck I had informed about. He gave me all the details I needed and differences between truck models I was able to get all the answers I needed and test drove a similar truck (since the one I had informed about had just arrived and not qualified to be driven out the lot) The ride was good. Happy and made the deal shortly after. Overall, I was impress with JN Chevrolet Honolulu and thankful to Toyo , Braven and Anthony Au for making it happen.
