I’d like to say I’m BEYOND satisfied with my experience because of Mirela! She helped me find the car of my dreams and made sure I knew every detail about the car before purchasing, was extremely helpful throughout the whole purchasing process and assured I knew how to use the car before driving off. She really went out of her way to make sure I was satisfied, she stayed even past her scheduled work day on Saturday ON HER BIRTHDAY to help me complete the purchasing process. Very impressed with their services. Visited the service center for a battery issue on my car. Reservation was quick and easy to set up an appointment in two days. Staff was welcoming at arrival. Advisor was professional and knowledgeable to explain what they would do for the visit and how to communicate for the progress of service work. I was updatted twice in about 2 hours with a detailed video and a progress report. A proper resolution was provided on the same day, with application of any recalls. A further guidance about future maintenanace schedule was also provided. Very satisfied and highly recommend.

I went in because my car was making a loud sound, and I immediately got helped by Brenda, she called a professional mechanic to drive around with me to figure out the noise, and within minutes he knew what was wrong, he told me no worries it would take a few minutes to fix…I was also able to get my vehicle serviced which was due.

Best experience I've ever had with the dealership, and the problem began when I took the SUV to a local garage to get a new battery. That precipitated a check engine light that neither they nor two other import specialty garages could rectify. I finally broke down, called the dealer, confessed to the battery debauchle, and made an appointment. They were great, fixed the issue, and didn't even speak badly about the original garage. ...so while I was hoping to find a garage closer to me to maybe take care of some "simple?" things, this has shown that it's just not worth it.

John, your service guy was great. Give him a raise. What was disappointed me was this: the car I bought from you was my first Mercedes. I had figured it was a top quality car. The four cars I only before that were all Toyotas, I put over 150,000 miles on each and I never had to put one dollar out for them other than normal maintenance. So when I brought my Mercedes in for an oil change at 70,000 miles and found out there was over $4000 worth of repairs needed on it, it made me wonder if buying another one is a smart move

Sales was surprisingly a 1. They were my first stop when looking to upgrade, altho the salesmen was very nice he blatantly lied. He told me Mercedes as a company will add $5000 on top of msrp on any vehicle I purchase if I don't finance with them. He told me this was across the board with all dealers. He said this in front of 2 other employees who agreed. A week later I went to 2 other Mercedes dealers and found out that is not the case at all...only Hartford does this.

I was really impressed with their attention to detail and care.

My E300 sedan was recently repaired at new country Mercedes’ because enormous amounts of rain and flooding the CT area got from the hurricanes aftermath. My engine was hydrolocked because of water intake and some of the car interior was flooded. I had it towed to there dealership for an extensive repair! Which included new engine, starter and alternator and some carpeting and fuse boxes and wiring and connecters. I was very nervous about the car going through such a big repair but the service director John Distefano guaranteed the car would come back to me perfect! New Country Mercedes DELIVERED 100% the car was repaired quickly and everything was PERFECT when I got it back! My service experience was excellent! We had a great experience working with Nick Provera on the purchase of our Certified Pre Owned C300. We located the vehicle online while on vacation out of the area. We called to inquire and got connected with Nick. He was able to provide some additional info about the vehicle, took our deposit over the phone, and got to work from there. We had already gotten an approval from our bank ahead of time, so this really helped move the process along. When we got back into town the following week, the vehicle was ready and waiting for us. We only had to sign our paperwork and we were on our way back home. It was a very fast process, thanks to Nick working our deal over the phone and email while we were out of the area. After doing some research and watching the prices of CPO C300s, it seems that we got a really terrific price on our vehicle as well. I would not hesitate to return to New Country in the future to purchase a vehicle.
We have since made a visit to their service department for some minor interior noise complaints. They were quick to resolve them and provide us a loaner vehicle while our C300 was being repaired. Overall, I would not hesitate to return to New Country for service or the purchase of a new MB - even though it's an hour from our house in MA.

I had inquired about the car on Monday and scheduled to pick it up the following Saturday when I was able to make the drive to CT. All the Service Department folks were so helpful and nice. Customer Service was beyond exemplary. Spent $1017 to fix an crankcase position sensor. Brought my mercedes home on a Saturday. Next day it had a dead battery and brake lights stuck on. Called and left message to ask questions on Sunday. No call back Monday. Called again Tuesday morning left another message. Nothing. Called Wednesday and left message for service director. Finally got a call back Thurs night. Nice man, seeeeemed like he was sincere when he was apologizing but just didn't make me feel that my business was valued. I guess $1017 doesn't warrant that great customer service.

A few weeks ago I started noticing a few malfunctioning with the front sensors of my car, so I called the service department immediately. The employee who answered the phone handled my call in a very professional matter and made sure to let a service advisor know that I was planning on stopping by for service. Ron the gentleman who i first saw was very pleasant and helpful, he then directed me to see one of the service advisors. I saw Chris Barbesek his manager John Distefano and Steve Dunham the General Manager, they explained what they were planning to do and how they were going to fix my car. Then they helped me to get a loaner car so I would not be inconvenienced during a very busy time.
Steve Dunham the General Manager made sure I was given a comparable car and reassured me that they will keep me updated with the repair process and the timeline. Buying a car is not always a fun and smooth experience but New Country fulfilled those shoes to the highest level. I was put in contact with Steve Dunham just a few days ago, he called me right away and asked how he could help me. Not like a typical car sales person that automatically starts "selling" and pitching their products, he called me as if we were old friends catching up and set the expectation that whatever I needed and felt good with, he was going to make that happen. The only issue was timing as I was coming up from New York and the travel could be a nightmare, so if I could do it in a maximum of two trips that was ideal in my mind. We set a time and day and little did I know, Steve already had a car in mind and had it all prepped and ready to go, as if I was going to walk away with the car all in one day. I thought to myself that this is wishful thinking and a long shot - buying a car is never that easy. He secretly knew that it would make my day if I could drive off with the truck all in one day and guess what, that is what happened! Steve put me with Avneesh, one of the top sales people and the rest was history. Both Steve and Avneesh went above and behind, made it a seamless process and so worth the 1.5hr drive I made. And guess what I drove off with the GLE that day! I am already trying to see how we can get my boyfriend into a Mercedes. They have a family from Rye, NY for life. We will never go anywhere else and will only drive Mercedes until the day we no longer can! Thank you so much once again for everything you all did! My experience was fantastic, and I believe it's because of the salesperson I was fortunately connected to when I called the dealership to test-drive a Mercedes.
The salesperson was Michael Nwachukwu, and from my perspective deserves to be highlighted based on his smart approach and ability to listen closely to a potential customer.
It's obvious these days that salespeople focus on the money and the sale, rather than customer needs.I've engaged with many people over the years in both my personal and business life, and it was great to be connected with a real professional with great integrity. No fake sales small talk.
Michael devoted all his energies to hearing exactly what we wanted, rather than focusing on what benefits him. He naturally attempted add-on sales (as we expect from a good salesperson) such as extended warranty, maintenance packages, and other extra features to the selling experience.
But his approach was so straight-forward and NOT pushy, overly aggressive, and importantly; did not sneak any fees buried in the "small print" that others try to infuse.
Bottom line, I would highly recommend Michael to anyone interested in purchasing or leasing a vehicle from New Country Mercedes. Although we are from lower Fairfield County and could have went to any local dealership, we deliberately stayed with Michael.
He's exceptionally bright, listens closely to customer needs, yet shares his opinions and other options that may not be known to a buyer. Additionally, Michael is positive and bases his approach on honesty and doing the right thing. He was also proactive in actions, as he delivered our new car purchase to our home in Greenwich.

I bought my car here and have been coming here ever since for service. They have a very knowledgeable staff, brand new and modern facility and convenient hours. I'm able to drop my car off for service at 7 a.m. and they have loaners available which makes it very convenient. The service staff especially is very knowledgeable and helpful. The one drawback and reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the telephone system is horrendous. it is difficult to get through to someone in a reasonable manner instead often you are sent to different extensions and put on hold or asked to leave a message at some extension that you don't even know who it is going to.

We couldn't be happier. We just bought a slightly used 2012 C300 Sport and the service we received was second to none! Cherif was our salesman and he was patient, helpful and never once made us feel like time was an issue. He never pressured us to make a choice and did everything he could to fit our demands within budget. This is far from our first car purchase and I can say with confidence that this was a completely different experience. I couldn't give the purchase experience a better rating. We also service our other mercedes at New Country and we feel happy with them too. The only blemish on service for us is the phone exchange. We started the painful car buying journey with a visit to a Volvo dealership, Carmax, some high end collectable car place all the way in Lowell MA, and a few other places. But DAMN I wish we hadn't wasted all that time and had just gotten it done with Chris R. at New Country right from the beginning. At all the other places, I was actually shocked by how little the sales people understood about cars. They had not a clue how they "work" when we noted and experienced malfunctions or things needing maintenance on the test drives. One guy actually said ,"Well, I won't pretend to know anything about cars, but I'm sure that sound is normal." like, what??! excuse me???
Imagine my relief when Chris actually understood the intricacies of an engine and tuning. My husband, who is a machinist and builds engines, was even impressed.
Chris was accommodating, not at all pushy, and fast with the paperwork. He came in specifically for us on his day off to make sure I was able to take the car today.
My first Mercedes was from New Country, my current is from New Country, and my next one will be as well.

I cannot say enough about my wonderful experience working with Sales Consultant Chris Rueli and Finance Manager Abu Jamil of New Country Mercedes Benz. Chris's knowledge of the various vehicle offerings and trim packages is unrivaled. I have purchased a few vehicles from New Country and while every experience has been first class, I have never worked with a sales consultant who knows their products inside and out the way Chris does. At no point was I pressured or rushed and Chris continuously made sure I was comfortable with my vehicle selection and the options available.
Once my vehicle was selected I began working with Abu Jamil on the finance side of things. Abu quite simply is the best Finance manager I have ever worked with. Abu took his time explaining the various options and made sure to tailor a deal that made sense for me. Abu also made sure that I was comfortable with how the deal was structured numerous times. People often speak of the pressure tactics and smoke and mirrors when purchasing a car and that type of treatment simply does not exist at New Country Mercedes.
Both Chris and Abu truly uphold the Mercedes slogan "The Best or Nothing". If you are in the market to purchase or lease a new Mercedes Benz I highly recommend Chris Rueli and Abu Jamil of New Country Mercedes.

Went to New Country looking for a C series. Place is very clean and was welcomed by a couple of employees who offered coffee/beverages. I was introduced to Avneesh Naran. His customer service was outstanding. He was professional and informative. More importantly, Avneesh was very receptive. While I went looking for a C series, he listened to what was important to me and suggested a GLC SUV. After going through options, features and benefits, we decided to go for a test drive. Upon returning, I realized he was right and the GLC was the choice for me.
Unfortunately, despite Avneesh's efforts, they couldn't work with me to get it to the price point I was hoping for. I would certainly have given a 5 Star rating had they been able to work with me. Hopefully New Country leadership sees this and recognizes Avneesh Naran is a true asset to their Team.

After the above, i received an email directly from the GM Steve Dunham, following up on my experience. The day after my reply, my Sales rep Avneesh Naran called me to deliver great news that i hoped for. Long Story short, 4 days later, I became a proud owner of a CL300!! This location is clearly customer oriented. From top down, New Country MB of Hartford clearly have the customers' experience and satisfaction as a top priority. I have given a 5 STAR review and would recommend New Country as THE placed for your next vehicle.

So this review is long overdue. 2 months ago, took my car to NCMB for a problem i was having with a trim piece on rear bumper. Ashley Bouchette was extremely pleasant to deal with and showed concern with my issue. She took photos and recorded my concern and then looped in John Distefano who took the baton from there. He explained to me what was needed and how long the process would be. Well let me tell you, the part he ordered came in ahead of schedule and they had me bring in the vehicle as soon as my schedule cleared. Ashley walked me to the waiting room where i was distracted by a beautiful 2020 AMG C63. From there i walked over to make myself a coffee and sit down. BEFORE i even finished my coffee, here comes John to shake my hand and check in. We start walking towards the service center when he tells me they were just finishing the job and asked if i would like the car washed by hand!!! Of course i said YES! Ashley mentioned that i do not like machine car washes. I was so impressed with the service here AND their teamwork that i would never take my car anywhere else. Not sure if the management is aware of the tremendous job these two do so i hope they read this review. They are true assets to the NCMB team and the reason i took the time out to write this post! Jonathan (unsure of spelling) the service tech helped my wife and I to top off our coolant, as we were trying to purchase it to top off ourselves and saw we were struggling on trying to figure out the color. So he took the car around back and topped it off for us and washed and cleaned the car for us all complementary. She took the car to my mechanic at my request and made sure the car was just right. It is a dealership, so you have to expect the "sell" and add-ons, but Stacey was never pushy. My husband and I have been doing business with NELSON DASWANI of New Country Motors for 20 years . There is no one else we would work with. Nelson is kind, attentive and very knowledgeable to our needs. One time I just called him up and told him the vehicle I wanted and it was there ready to go within a couple of days. Another time we had a problem in New York, we called him he said just come "home" (to the dealership) and he was there waiting for us after a horrendous day and got everything corrected. Everyone at this dealership was very nice, I was offered a snack or drink multiple times and helped immediately. However, I'm giving the dealership only 3 stars due to their prices. I got an estimate for a c300 with 9000 miles (minimal extra features) which I wanted to buy outright, not a lease and no financing. I went to another dealership, got a quote for the same exact car (color, interior, features, etc) but with only 6000 miles and it was $6000 cheaper. I was a little disappointed after this and was told that I had received the best price which was extremely aggressive, but I clearly learned this was not the case. I understand everyone needs to make money but it wasn't even a close comparison for essentially the same exact car.

Sprinter RVers: My wife and I drive a 2018 Coachmen Galleria Recreational Vehicle and it's built on the terrific Mercedes Sprinter 3500 chassis. We sought out a high quality dealer that understands the needs of people who buy Sprinters for personal RV use. WE FOUND NEW COUNTRY to be an excellent choice.
The have a dedicated Sprinter service rep. name Brenda who helped me learn the ins and outs of my Sprinter service schedule. The price for my service was fair, (unlike the gouging quote I received from a newer MB up the road, who seemed like they didn't want to be bothered by an RV consumer).
Steve, the general manager is approachable and actually took time to discuss my use of the Sprinter as a base for my RV. Everyone I encountered at this dealership was open and courteous. I look forward to a long relationship with them.

My mom met with Tim Talbot who she says was extra helpful and informative. He got her into a courtesy vehicle because she had a meeting that day and he wasn't sure the vehicle would be ready by her 12 pm meeting. He was right but that was okay because the courtesy vehicle was extended for the entire weekend while they waited for additional parts to come in. She received a text message when the vehicle was ready and although she would be working late that day, he responded that they were available for a 6pm pick-up.All the items that needed to be corrected were all under warranty so she didn't have a bill!

I am on my Third Mercedes-Benz, one time I left to Audi and it was the worst mistake I have ever made, I will never own anything but a Mercedes. Customer service at Audi is terrible. I am writing this review because of the great Service I receive every time I go in to service my car. When I go to New country I always deal with Brenda, she always takes the time to make sure that all my issues are taken care of the first time, always follows up to let me know what is going on and always gives me a thorough explanation, she always seems to be in a great mood and that alone is a plus. Also whenever I go to New Country MB Humberto in the Vehicle loaner department, makes the impossible happen to make sure he finds me a loaner even when they are in low inventory, so I always leave in the same comfort I came in with. I recommend this - Get your next car here! You will love the experience. No pushing and twisting to get you to buy. The prices are market fair - go ahead and check. If you find something less, guaranteed it won't have all the features, or warranties, or there is a difference in miles and general condition of the vehicle. Everything is transparent. There's no doubt that Mercedes makes fine vehicles, but that's only half of the picture. The dealership is just as important and New Country scores high marks in both sales and service.
We've been satisfied customers of New Country for over 10 years. The sales people are knowledgeable and their prices have always been competitive with competing dealers and internet-based information. My recent purchase of a CLS550 was the eleventh Mercedes Benz I have acquired, and this transaction was by far the best experience I have ever had in buying a car. My salesman, Justin Towle, could not have been better: he answered all of my questions clearly and authoritatively, and gave me more information about this car than I've ever been provided before. I wrote a review before praising the sales team about how professional they were in delivering their product. 2 yrs later, we are being told that our tires have completely worn out in 20k miles when we were promised that brand new tires will be put in during the sale. I had an issue with a single black out that happened months ago with my radio, he had it replaced. I had a blown speaker, Sammy.... had it replaced. I couldn't be late getting to the office but I didn't want to make the 35 mile commute with the light on. I called Jonathan from the car and he told me to stop in on my way by the dealership. Purchased a CPO 2012 E4matic a few years back. Great reliable car with minimal service needs. On Monday, typical of a light bulb, my passenger low beam went out with no notice. Attempted to replace myself but didn't want to take the chance to break the bulb holder.
Stopped by at 1PM on Tuesday, and in 10 minutes I was fully "lit" again for a rainy/foggy day. John Distefano has really turned the service department into a first class operation.

I had some problems with hesitation on my smart car and I also needed to have the 2 drive belts changed after clocking 102,000 miles. The ABS light also came on so I had that looked at as well. The diagnosis was great, the service advisor did a great job, and the work was done to my satisfaction. I rated the service at only 4 stars because of the price. I was charged $290.00 to change 3 spark plugs (which included the plugs @ $10 each), and I was also charged $44.00 for 2 drive belts and another $195.00 to install 2 fan/drive belts. I found that ridiculous pricing!!! I also had the rear axle seal changed which cost another $275.00.
Smart cars are an economy car, not a Rolls Royce. I have no problem paying $100.00 per hour labor, but changing 3 spark plugs for $290.00! Respecting the company needs to make a profit, pricing was at least 30% overpriced, however I will admit that they did give me the pricing before they did the work so I knew it in advance.

Service department is very friendly! Unfortunately I have been having bad experiences. I took my suv for oil change few days after I noticed that some kind of oil was leaking. Before going in I had no leaks and they did not inform me of any. I paid for a diagnosis., they checked it and it was the power steering fluid. The next day I noticed that it was not leaking anymore, I was happy but I checked the container and guess what? No, none steering fluid what so ever, bone dry. Coincidence? they forgot to fill it?
I dont want to drive it until we go down (out of my way) to the dealer.
Im having husband go down to the dealer to buy the fluid. I think the mechanics need to be more attentive.

Not only did they tried to sell me a more expensive Mercedes 37,000 they didn't honor the internet price of the car i came in to test drive, which was listed at 27,000 they ask me for 31,000. When o ask why the price difference theh said that the cash price.. really!!!! Yeah i got 27,000 in my pocket..

Love my vehicle but very disappointed with the quality of care I have received after I drove off the lot. I was told that there was an owners manual / book in my certified pre owned. I called to alert my sales advisor that it was not in the car, was told to check again. I did, it’s not there. That was in March, after numerous excuses including it hasn’t come in from Germany yet I still don’t have one. I have reached out once a month for the last several months with no resolution to this issue. I have left messages to managers that have gone unreturned. It is ridiculous that I have to google when I have issues with my car. Not pleased.
Update: called again found out my sales advisor no long works for Mercedes - sounds like I have my owners manuals coming.

From the minute I first walked into the Mercedes-Benz dealership in Hartford, CT, I received nothing but great quality service. Donald J. Salierno was there for me through the whole process. He answered all my questions with no hesitation or delay. The process took about 2-3 weeks and not once did he dismiss me because he didn't think the sale was going to occur. I felt valued and important no matter. The quality of the the Mercedes-Benz speaks for itself, but the customer service and dedication from it's representatives deserves to be noticed and applauded. Exceptional customer experience! 1st time we visited New Country Mercedes Hartford in 2004.We were planning to buy a car but not necessarily Mercedes. During our visit, we met with Mirela Critache, She gave us exceptional and world class car buying experience. Since then, we never went to any other dealership and we are loyal Mercedes and New Country Customer. She is exceptional sales Professionalism, and asset to the dealership. I would say that, it is not the only car we pay premium it is the holistic experience from buying, driving, service and every visit to dealership.
I have been associated with New Country since late 2004 and must say every time we visit the service levels have been truly exceptional and world class and that is what makes it so special. I was at the New Country Mercedes dealership in Hartford yesterday morning. The purpose of my visit was a warning appearing on the dashboard to 'check coolant level.' My problem was handled very quickly and professionally when I arrived at the dealership - I had called and explained the situation and was told to just come in - no appointment required.
The GM is Stebve Duhnum; Ron was the service rep and Steve the Technician. It was so easy and quick to get this problem solved. I would give your dealership 5 stars! Also, there was no charge for this service.

Service Review: My experiences have been positive when I've taken my car to New Country. Jason Lewis was easy to deal with and was able to help identify and correct, to this point, an ongoing alignment issue that was causing uneven and fairly rapid tire wear on my 06 C350.
The staff have always been good to me and it appears that their technicians do a bang-up job also, which is key.
I have Yokohama Avid Envigor tires on the car and they get mixed reviews online as far as having poor tread life and not good in the snow while purporting to be a very good all-season tire. We will see now that the alignment issue has been corrected. I'm expecting at least 40-45K miles before I would need to consider new tires or it will be right to Yokohama to honor their warranty but that's the tire. If tread wear is poor I simply won't buy Yokos again for this car and will seek advice on a longer lasting tire. Not sure what the recommended alignment schedule is...probably once a year.
Overall very good experience here and I will continue to bring my car to New Country.

I stopped in to New Country Mercedes because my C300 engine light was on. I had received an invite from New Country to consider turning in my lease (11 mos early mind you) and driving off in a 2013 C300 with a lower monthly payment. Sound too good to be true? I thought so. While waiting for my car to be serviced my salesperson, Mirela Cristache, whom I got the last 2 cars from, came over to say hello. I asked her about the notice I received and she told me she would look up my account and see if it was something I should pursue. 10 minutes later she asked me to come to her office. She basically presented an offer I couldn't refuse. We went out to the lot, looked at several cars and colors, and within minutes I agreed upon a car.
I want to mention that each time I have negotiated an deal with Mirela she has been unbelieveably professional and has held up her end of everything she promised. She is absolutely great to deal with and I highly recommend that you ask for her if you find yourself Mercedes shopping.
So, long story short, I drove off in a brand new car with better features than my old car and a lower monthly payment with minimum money down. So yes...it was all true. Thank you Mirela, and thank you New Country Mercedes. You have once again exceeded my expectations. I absolutley love my new car!

After buying a Mercedes S420 19 years ago at New Country, I now own a 2004 SL500, a 2011 S550, and a 2014 ML550, all fabulous vehicles bought new. The latter two I ordered from Chris Langley who made the experience simpler and smoother than buying a toaster oven. I picked up the ML just three weeks ago (February, 2014) and I’m as delighted with its performance as I am with how professionally Chris handled my special order: seamlessly with no wrinkles and good humor to boot. His patient two-hour tutorial about the ML’s features with me and my wife was enormously useful and time well spent. He even helped us load CDs into the Music Register, making his orientation sound in every possible way. I’ve been spoiled by MB’s V8s and so I keep them well beyond the warranties once I know how much my wife and I enjoy driving them. To that end, the service department at New Country has a trifecta of competency in Gil Reynolds, (an expert mechanic who's been diligently servicing our cars for nearly twenty years), Brenda Sostre (a savvy service rep who knows what her customers as well as the cars need to keep humming), and Bill Larson, (the service manager who is absolutely determined to get everything right). As a somewhat fussy academic, I appreciate how much they all work assiduously to achieve excellence, just like the cars.

Visited New Country to see a used vehicle that they had taken in a trade. Not a Mercedes, and not a Mercedes price tag. Was welcomed by Betsy in charge of internet inquires, Tim in charge of Sales and assigned to Dean BiBella to handle the details. Was treated like I was shopping for an SL550. Easy manner, no pressure and we worked a fair deal for both myself and New Country. The only complaint would be that I ended up "in line" for the business manager to do the closing paperwork, so that process just took too long ... considering it was a cash transaction ... but I was in and out same day.
