Have stopped at this dealership for years and years, always mentioning to whomever was working that, “I’ll be back at some point to buy a 911…” In the last few years it’s been Silvio I’ve spoken with, and he’s always checked in from time to time with a friendly email, mentioning the current inventory, etc. Well, finally this month I came in, took a 2018 GTS for a drive with my wife, and we bought it a week later. Silvio was wonderful, as was the General Manager Karan (and others). I came in to pick up the car on a stormy afternoon, and Silvio and the staff were super accommodating and got me out of there in less than an hour. Glad I was finally able to make a deal and drive away with my first 911…a 30+ year dream 😍🏎

If I could give 6 stars I would. The customer service was amazing. If you go, ask for Ron. I went to buy a used Audi and wasn’t sure what to expect after a terrible experience at another dealer for my previous car. But Ron was a great salesman who knew Audi cars like the back of his hand and even had special route planned out to test some of the special features on the car I was test driving. Very professional and personable.

I travelled from NYC all the way to CT to look at a Porsche Cayman they had in stock. Needless to say, the sales Rep Madison did an incredible job on making my first car purchase as easy as possible. The day of the purchase, it was snowing really badly and was also dark out. I was really worried about if I was going to be able to drive that car back home that evening. Before I was able to ask, they suggested I go home and come back another day when the weather is good to pick up the car. I didn’t have a driver to drive me so I ended up taking the bus from Penn Station all the way to Hartford, where a representative from Hoffman Porsche picked me up when they really didn’t have to do that. To top it all off, when I finally saw my car, the interior and exterior had been waxed and polished. I bought a used car but drove it off the lot looking brand new. Everyone at Hoffman Porsche made my first car buying experience amazing. If your Rep is Madison, then you’re in good hands. She will take care of you and answer all your questions. EDIT - 03/01/2021 It’s been 3 months since I’ve owned this car and I absolutely love driving it. I’ve made some major and minor changes to the car gradually. First one being tints. I have 35% ceramics all around the sides and the back, the front windshield is 70% ceramic for heat protection for the leather interior. I got the rims powder coated gloss black and bought a set of Brembo brakes in red to increase my stopping power. BMC high flow performance filters on each side and replaced the stock intakes with carbon fiber. I got the taillights tinted just a bit for a smoky look. Lastly, I installed new gaskets, high flowing HJS down pipes, and a valved exhaust to replace the stock one. (Sounds a whole lot better now with no droning sound)

Madison was a breath of fresh air from other salespeople I've dealt with - patient, down-to-earth, understanding, and genuine. I never felt rushed or like I was getting yet another "sales pitch." Both myself and my puppy, Tula, were treated kindly by Madison & the rest of the staff (shoutout to Tula's new best friend, Ethan!), and I am happy to now call Madison a friend. Updated review 3/16/22 Hoffman reached out to me after I left this review to discuss the situation and help find a resolution to the issues I had. I appreciated this as it seemed sincere versus here's something for your trouble, now go away. Because of this I am improving my rating. The only thing that would have made my experience/rating better is if it didn't take multiple attempts to get issues fixed. Service availability can be tough with service being weeks out to get an appointment with a loaner. __________________________________________________ When I purchased my Macan in February 2021, it was an overall good experience. There were some bumps in the road, but in the end I was satisfied. However, a few months into ownership of my car things have gone downhill. From the beginning the HomeLink garage door buttons in the car do not function properly. I mentioned this to service and they said they're waiting for a software update to fix the issue - a little difficult to believe a 2 year old car will still have technical issues that have yet to be addressed. Still have not heard any updates on this. Next I have had a recurring check engine light issue in the car. So far, I have brought it in 2-3 times for this issue. I thought for sure the service department would have fixed the issue by the second time, but it came on again right before I was supposed to leave for a trip. I had to make alternate plans since I didn't feel confident driving the car with the check engine light on. I also had noticed that 3 of the door handles had hairline cracks on them, which is a common issue with the Macan. I had a little difficulty at first with this issue until I showed the service advisor the service bulletin published by Porsche regarding this issue. The handles were replaced, but the service department also scratched my car. I keep my cars in like new condition - in fact the car had a professional paint correction and ceramic coating applied right after I purchased it. The technician managed to scratch through the coating and clear coat on two of the doors. The service advisor dismissed my concerns and said they couldn't have done that. To make things worse, one of the handles that was replaced the keyless lock/unlock doesn't function. I raised these concerns to the general manager, but I have yet to be contacted to discuss the situation or remedy for these issues. I am very disappointed. Thus far I have been extremely patient. It's very annoying having to make so many trips back to the dealership, especially when the car only requires service every 10,000 miles/1 year. For the premium one pays to own a Porsche, a better experience is definitely expected.

I really appreciate the overall friendly and experienced feel of the dealership. It is easy now to buy a car online, yet there is still something special about going into the showroom, and being walked though the buying process. This Hoffman dealership specifically, is like dining at the best table of your favorite restaurant. You always leave feeling satisfied !

Just wanted to write a review about the excellent experience I had at Hoffman Porsche. My car needed some repairs so I brought it and saw Lou the service manager He came back with specified repairs and charges . I had to make the decision whether to trade it in as is or put the repairs into the car. Lou gave me all the information I needed along with his own input which was very valuable and showed how you sincerely he cared that I make the right decision. After the tough decision to trade it in as is , Koran, sales manager, searched extensively around the area for someone to give me the best price on the vehicle. He told me to give him some more time as he continue to search for the best price . He finally came up with the best price possible. I was very happy with the price and also so pleased for the effort he put into it to get me that price. Both employees of Hoffman, Lou and Koran were very personable and caring about giving me the best deal possible and doing what was best for me. As I just decided to trade in a vehicle Koran again worked the best possible and made the delivery super easy and clean. I have never received the service that was given to me from both Lou and Koran at any dealership and will be a lifetime customer of this Porsche dealership.

Mind boggling when that childhood poster becomes a reality. My SA Anthony and his colleagues have been super fun to chat with during my build. I stop by with an occasional check-in. The staff are always very professional and knowledgeable all while keeping a human side to the experience. I show up wearing my Birkenstock's and receive the same welcoming respect as the other customers that may be dressed for the office. Also, during my visits I've learned about the 100 years of heritage at the Hoffman Auto Group via the TV showcasing it on the sales floor. While there, you'll see a slew of custom build samples and materials, the passion of Porsche displayed via video stories on their big screen, all while sipping on a cup of fresh brewed coffee <- It's a pretty cool coffee machine.

Awesome experience. I've purchased many vehicles, Jeeps, VW, and Subaru to name a few, But by far, this is the best group of people to work with. Very knowledgeable staff and great to talk to, and the coffee is amazing. Aaron is the salesman I felt with, highly recommended. This is my car. Graphite Blue metalic. Pictures don't do it justice. The one with the guys working is the install of the 3M clear bra. Highly recommend it.

Today I Went In To Get A Diagnostic Done on my suspension, I'm usually scared to go to dealers as I've had terrible experiences with other dealers in the past. Lou and Ethan Greeted me warmly as soon as I walked in, I discussed the issues my Porsche Panamera Turbo was having, as soon as a I mentioned the issues they explained a few possibilities and were very knowledgeable, they then had me go out for a Ride with there best technician. In The meantime I had a good Chat with Edward one of the Salesmen there, who was also very knowledgeable on his cars.1 Hour Later, Lou brought me down to the shop and explained to me exactly what was wrong and my mind was finally at ease. I will definitely recommend anyone who needs to Service or Purchase A Porsche to go to Hoffman Porsche Of East Hartford!!Thank You!!!

We just picked up an SUV from Hoffman Porsche and the experience was about as good as you could ever hope for. We knew exactly what we wanted and what we wanted to spend and came prepared. We were able to prearrange many of the logistical and financing parts of the deal and we really only had a few lingering questions to clear up from previous phone calls. We arrived in the afternoon, Anthony got us set up for a test drive, we hammered out the few lingering questions and we were able to make the deal happen. Because we had already made arrangements with Hoffman Porsche in advance we were able to finish up with financing and drive our car home the same day. We will definitely use this dealership again in the future but I dont think we will need another new car for a while with the gem they just sold us!

This review is long overdue. Ethan was great at inspecting a used Porsche that I bought from the good guys at Coventry Motorcar. He and his team were very thorough and found issues that I was able to get fixed before I purchased. Ethan was great with communication, keeping me in the loop and taking photos and videos. They were responsive to my request for an appointment, and made the car I asked to look at available. Ethan, Lou and the service technicians do an AMAZING job! They are incredibly friendly and hard working. Getting a loaner car was a breeze. Working with Madison was actually an enjoyable experience and I cannot recommend her enough! For context, I had terrible experiences at two other Porsche dealerships before I came to Hoffman. Completely unresponsive, not knowledgable about their products, and forgetting to send me info I've asked for. I can honestly say Madison completely turned it all around. She was responsive, helpful, and a gem to work with both pre/post purchase. 10/10 would recommend working with her, you won't be disappointed. She's the reason I'll be back for my second purchase.

I recently had a great experience with the service team at Hoffman Porsche. My Boxster convertible suffered major flood damage and was taken to Hoffman by flatbed. Once my insurance carrier was put in touch with Hoffman, their service department took over all discussions and negotiations with the adjuster and made sure that everything was covered. I had complete peace of mind with Hoffman supervising the whole claim and repair process. To top it off, Hoffman stored our car without charge and had it delivered back to us in perfect shape. We can recommend the Hoffman Porsche service people without reservation.

I scheduled my 30000 mile tuneup and was given a new Macan as a rental for 4 hours- no charge. So I didn’t have to wait! My car was ready on time- tho I was late due to traffic congestion on I91! Where do i begin? I first saw an advertisement on Cars dot com for a vehicle that was just traded in. No information was listed so i decided to give Hoffman Porsche a call. I spoke to Heather Meade and requested information from her which they did not have. She took down my information and quickly returned my inquiry with a phone call and an email literally with in an hour or so. The vehicles was listed at a lower price which was a mistake, but Hoffman honored the lower price. This alone was amazing because they could have easily blown me off and gotten much more for the vehicle as it was in "Like New" condition. Heather then transferred me over to Edward H, a Senior Porsche Specialist. Edward H answered all my questions and was very informative and knowledgeable with everything that i needed in order to make this purchase. One day later, i took the 3 hour drive to Ct to pick up my vehicle. The entire process took less than 10 minutes, there was no hassling of prices or extended warranties (even though i did request one). The entire staff was more than helpful and friendly, offering us beverages and a comfy seat where we could just lounge and relax. These people at Hoffman are not sales people, they are car enthusiasts that just happen to sell cars. i would recommend them to anyone and everyone looking for a great experience and an amazing vehicle.

They were professional and welcoming. Right before I reached the dealership, my trade-in had a flat tire. I had in mind a certain model and year that I was looking for. I didn't know anything about Hoffman Porsche except for the online reviews I looked at like this one I am writing. I live 30 miles from NYC, so this dealership was about 4 hours north of me. When I went to the dealership I met a gentleman named "Karl Werner". After talking with him and test driving the vehicle I was sold. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and great to deal with. He did my transaction smoothly and quickly. When I drove the vehicle home I realized I left the paperwork in the showroom. I called Karl and before I knew it he had the paperwork in the mail fedexed to me which I had the next day. Wow! He also told me if I need anything to give him a call with any questions I had. I really couldn't ask for anything more. I was a little worried buying a car 4 hours from home. My Boxster needed a new water pump which I replaced myself. Everything went fine until it came time to replace the antifreeze. It wouldn't refill with what I took out as the breather valve had to be opened not just the expansion tank cap to allow the coolant to fill the system. Almost being ready to take it in and have the dealership do the job I called the service department and spoke with Ethan. I explained what the issue was and he asked that I hold. The next thing I know he put me on speaker to discuss the situation with Joe one of the service technicians. Not only did Joe explain how to get at the breather valve, the advice and tips given to help speed up the process of removing the air from the system was invaluable to getting the car running perfectly again in about an hour. To think that any dealership much less a Porsche dealer would take the time to help and not just say bring it in we need to diagnose the issue was almost stunning. The best car buying experience of my life. I found a vehicle online and started communicating through email with Anthony Lopez, who was great at answering my questions on line. Within a day I had made an offer and it was accepted. Within two days everything was all set up for financing, and the car was detailed and ready to go. When I finally went to pick up the car, it took no more than 10 minutes to finish up the paperwork that had already been started online. Everybody I met there including the finance manager, sales manager and the service manager were extremely easy going and friendly. The service manager Ethan literally went over every single function of the car with me, he even set up my phone to the Bluetooth. Even though I was buying a used vehicle that costs 1/4 of what some of the cars in the showroom cost, I feel like I was still treated like a V.I.P., and this is why for my next car I will look nowhere else but Hoffman. I've had five years’ experience with Hoffman Porsche Service and they are by FAR the best auto service experience I've ever had. Professional, responsive, thorough, and knowledgeable. And perhaps most importantly, Lou and Ethan are "car guys" and, of course Porsche experts. I always enjoy spending some time with them chatting about the latest great thing from Porsche. Also, I've found that Porsche (as a manufacturer) stands behind their cars 110% and I've never had a single negative issue with any warranty item that has come up. Hoffman Porsche Service was a key reason that after my first Porsche Panamera, there was no doubt in my mind that the next car would be another Porsche Panamera. Five stars.

I had a very difficult to diagnose issue with my Boxster S and the service team never gave up on it, never recommended a repair that didn't need to be done, and stuck with it until it was resolved. My family has experienced the most pleasant and unusual treatment from Ethan in your Porsche service department in over 60 years of owning cars. We did not purchase our 2008 Porsche Cayenne from Hoffman but after being extremely disappointed by the Wallingford group where we leased it new and then purchased the car thru them, turned to Hoffman for help. After some issues had developed that we thought should be under warranty, were informed that the car had not been certified and the extended warranty did not apply. We then contacted Porsche N/A, who referred us to Hoffman. Ethan did not promise that the warranty issue would belatedly be solved but somehow got it approved which saved us about $1800. Our future service and next purchase will certainly be from Hoffman, whatever the brand.

I was in the process of privately selling my 911, and the prospective buyer requested a DME report which is essentially an in-depth scan of the car's fault memory and other vital information. It essentially can only be obtained at a Porsche dealer, so I contacted Hoffman's service department about getting it done. Ethan and the service team are fantastic. My vehicle was a couple hundred miles out of warranty when a very expensive repair was needed. Ethan managed to get Porsche to cover 90% of the cost anyway. He really understands how to take care of a customer. The sales team, however, seems to lack the same attention to customer service and the reason I withheld the 5th star. While my vehicle was in the shop, I stopped by on Sat morning to retrieve a few items from it. When I arrived, they were all in an office having a meeting. Several of them turned around and acknowledged seeing me but did not come out to see what I needed. After wandering around the showroom for 10 minutes, the sales manager came out to say someone would be right with me and left. Another 10 minutes or so went by without anyone else coming out. The sales manager returned and when he saw I was still waiting asked what I needed. I told him and he took me down to the shop, lowered the lift and got the things I wanted from my car. He apologized for the complete lack of response from his sales team. Given my excellent experience each and every time with the service department it was extremely disappointing to be treated as though I did not matter in the least by the sales team.

Of course I spent endless hours with the Porsche on-line configurator. The Boxster finally arrived at the dealership and was ready for delivery, except for one thing, I was considering switching from the Boxster I painstakingly ordered to a 911 that was in stock!! Why? Well I had owned a 911 Carrera Targa years before and wanted to make sure I was making the right choice with the Boxster. I called Ed with this dilemma and he said no problem without hesitation, and promised that both cars would be ready for me to drive and compare whenever it was convenient for me to come down from Boston. I showed up at the dealership and they were parked right next to each other up front. Edward and I took them both out for a test drive and had a blast, resulting in me picking the 911, and re-negotiating a great deal on the spot. I adjusted the seat, mirrors, steering wheel, safety belt and we were off. Wow! What a ride. So comfortable (and I have herniated L3, L4, L5 discs), quiet, and responsive. I felt as if I were in a cacoon with a huge sun roof! Karl directed me down small back streets, city roads, and the highway, to really get a serious feel for this automobile. Needless to say the Porsche Macan sold itself, and is my new ride. I know this is the best car I have ever driven. But, I am so happy that Karl Werner is the one who greeted me at the door of the Hoffman Porsche dealership. He will be my salesman for Porsche vehicles for many years to come, I am sure.
