I typically do not do reviews but I would love to say, “thank you a MILLION times over” to the service department and my advisor, Devin Hitchcock for the wonderful service I received on my Audi Q5. My vehicle didn’t seem quite right to me so I brought it in for an inspection. Hoffman kept my truck for about a week to test, test, and retest it before it was given back to me. To me, that is the epitome of customer service! Devin checked in with me to keep me posted pretty much daily. That gave me comfort beyond belief! Everything was explained to me thoroughly plus with friendliness and care. To the service team, thank you! Everything feels great today but it is the customer service and support I received that was top notch! I dropped BMW for Audi and have not regretted that decision. Thank you, Hoffman!

Ali was courteous and spent time explaining the cars and helped us test different models for compatibility with our needs. I made an appointment for the next day, before the appointment I received 2 phone calls and a text message requesting confirmation that we would be there (a bit much). The other problem we had was the 7 thousand in options that were presented when we went to pay for the car, those should have been explained earlier. Luckily we had the money in the account for the added expense. We have been buying Audis from Hoffman Audi since 1974 and have enjoyed a good relationship.

I like the dealership however I am unsatisfied with my $80,000 electric car and I went to trade it back in 3 weeks later and they are offering my $60,000. Does not make any sense. Went to a different dealership and they offered me way more than what this dealership was offering. Long story short, sales is okay but the willingness for them to feel you for comfortable with what you are buying is not it. Do not recommend this dealership.

I came to Hoffman Audi 2 days prior to leaving on a cruise because I was in need of purchasing a new vehicle before my trip so I would have transportation to work when I returned as my previous vehicle was no longer reliable. I inquired the night before about a vehicle they had posted online and received a text the following morning inviting me to come down to give it a test drive. The vehicle was ready and waiting for me. I had prequalified for a loan to purchase prior to me coming down to the dealership and Alfonso was sure that he could get me a better rate. Been meaning to write this review for a very long time! We’ve purchased several cars from Hoffman Auto. One thing that really stands out is the incredible customer service. These guys and gals go 100 miles above and beyond any other dealership I’ve ever dealt with. One car purchase years ago and this is the place to go whether you are buying a car or servicing a car or even buying accessories. They treat you like family! I could repeat that a thousand times but you get what I’m saying. First from a sales standpoint. I’ve dealt with Tarel and Anthony. These guys will get you into a vehicle you absolutely love. No pressure no sales tricks. It’s all on you to decide what you want and then they take it go. Solid advice each and every time! Ethan and Trevor in Porsche and Audi departments respectively are phenomenal at what they do. They will give you honest advice on anything you want in addition to routine service! Always a pleasure! I waited several months to write this and honestly didn't think I would due to my experience getting a 2018 q3 serviced with a turbo wastegate issue. Started out great with what appeared to be extremely knowledgeable staff and although extremely busy, eager to take care of my issues. The car was not technically under factory warranty (per se) but I did have an extended I purchased from the audi dealer I purchased the car from. First note...make sure you understand what those warranties will actually do part wise. I assumed I bought it from audi I could take it to audi however they do not all sell the same warranty and most refuse to use new genuine parts. This turned into a several weeks long battle for what ended up being no reason as I found out on my own that Audi covers anything emissions related up to I think it was 75k due to California emissions. They should have known this upon taking the vehicle in but were too focused on the extended warranty and getting their loaner back that they overlooked what would have saved us all a month of stress and frustration. (Not to mention the loaner they gave me had bad wiper blades that really caught me off guard in the middle of a downpour on the highway...) In the end the service manager I spoke with was super apologetic admitting the mistakes made and refunded me the diagnostics fee I paid. Fast forward to why I give them four stars. A month ago I traded that q3 for a 2018 tts. I bought it from a nissan dealer that had no clue what they had and were honest about it. I went through it with their permission in their shop after hours going through anything I could get to underneath and in the engine bay. Previous owner kept the 20s and put factory 19s on instead. New England roads suck anyway. When most of that model with similar miles were going for 50k plus, getting it for 40k seemed like a steal as I am mechanically inclined and don't mind doing projects on my own. I took it to a shop I trusted which informed me that it needed a wheel bearing. As it was still under factory warranty I decided to give them another chance. Still extremely busy but is what it is. When I stopped in to schedule an appointment the service advisor informed me that the car was in fact a CPO and had unlimited mile coverage until the end of next year. Today I get a call and video message going over everything which was not expected or something I experienced with my q3. There was no discussion about cost (the phrase I remember about my q3 was "oh it's not bad only $6k to do that turbo for you) and Trevor was super professional. He explained that not only was the drives side bad but the passenger side as well and all covered under warranty. I will be picking up the car tomorrow. While on the phone I asked to get a quote for the inevitable 40k service coming up as it's a doosie and he had to call me back but when he did it was the icing on the cake. "Great news Mr. Cota apparently the previous owner purchased audi care which covers your maintenance until 62k and yes includes that crazy expensive serivice!" Sure it wasn't the dealer that did this but he did the digging himself. He empathized over pricing. He didn't try to say oh the 40k service isn't that bad it's cheap! Sure these cars are expensive but not everyone that drives them are rich. We just like nice things and will pay but don't assume we have the cars value just lying around to dump into it whenever. We buy the protections and warranties are in place for a reason. I felt valued even though no money will be taken from me. The video the tech sent is exactly how shops should do business going forward. Informative, professional and knowledgeable. You could tell he knew what he was talking about and it's nice to see someone take the same care and display the high level of attention to detail that I would if I was doing this in my garage. A "complimentary" inspection that actually takes place and you can watch! I hope this level of professionalism continues throughout my ownership of my new (to me) car!

Alfonso Lopez worked with me buying a car. He allowed us to test drive it for a few days and stayed in contact and answered all questions. He was professional from the beginning. Unfortunately, at the end of the transaction the vehicle had some problems mechanically that could not be resolved by Hoffman in a timely manner, so we asked to back out. Alfonso exhausted all avenues to get the car issues resolved. We did not buy it, but Alfonso called us up apologized and personally made sure we received our deposit back. Honest and hardworking he understood and was fair about it. I would recommend this Alfonzo and this dealership; they were honest and that is all we can ask for.

I had to buy a car Because mine was totaled so I tried Carvana because I am disabled they made the whole experience awful they were bringing me a car that was inspected already by their people with engine problems.this supposedly was a car that passed inspections and then it did not pass admissions here in Connecticut.. when I asked for some help they said “either you take this car or choose another we will not do anything else for you .” So Hoffman came to my mind I had seen an ad for a car on Hoffman in East Hartford website. I gave them a call and told them my situation. Made an appointment same day with Alfonso Lopez. He Was awesome he made me feel comfortable, he came to my car and made everything really easy for me. He was very accommodating he made sure he had a mask on and he had it on the whole time. It was a great experience from top to bottom. I’m so glad that I chose Hoffman Audi so if you go there definitely ask for Alfonso he will make everything go smooth!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had no interest in the back and forth, negotiating prices, runaround that I've experienced in the past with other vehicle purchases elsewhere. The icing on the cake was when he drove 45 minutes to my home to provide me with a loaner so that the dealership could perform the paint protection service on my new vehicle. As a first time Audi buyer, I not only LOVE the car and already can't imagine driving anything else, I am beyond impressed with this dealership (and Alfonso's) commitment to their customers...and to the brand itself. I personally don't give much thought to whether or not a car falls into the category of 'luxury' but I do know that this was luxury customer service and this customer is thrilled to give 5 stars!

Had to have my car, which I bought elsewhere, inspected for a service contract I was buying. It was the Audi brand service contract, and because my car was out of factory warranty, I needed an inspection first. Firstly, they managed to squeeze me in early in the morning into a full schedule on the last day of the month. And secondly, the dealership is located right off I-84, near the junction of 84 & 91(although without nav, it gets confusing to find once you get off the highway). Every last person who took care of me or that I passed in the store was pleasant. The waiting area has really nice, comfortable seats with optional little desktops or just cup holders in them. And as soon as my car was taken in, I was given a breakfast menu with a variety of breakfast sandwiches I could pick from, complimentary (apparently there is a catering co behind the dealership that they order from all day). The service was fast and thorough, and the advisor was informative. The business managers, Josh and Drew, made every effort to find me the best price on my service contract as well, by plugging in different terms and deductibles to find a comfort zone for me. Outstanding all-around experience!

I was blown away by the excellent service I received at Hoffman. My car needed service due to a recall on an after running coolant pump. When I last visited the Audi dealership closest to my home in Springfield, they had told me the after running coolant pump needed to be replaced and it would be around $800. I refused to get the service done since I couldn’t believe the car needed an elaborate service with only 65K on it. I then received a notice in the mail from Audi USA, stating the after running coolant pump was being recalled and to bring it in for service as soon as possible if the EPC light was on. I also was having some steering issues at the time. I called the dealership closest to me again, explained the notice I received and they said they wanted me to take it in again for them to check to see if that part really needed to be replaced. I had it! I called Hoffman and explained the situation to them. They agreed to look at my car, determined it needed to have the part replaced and they provided me with a loaner while it was being serviced. The service staff was so friendly and helpful, even some of the sales people were nice. If I buy another Audi, I will definitely be getting it from Hoffman. I highly recommend them and can’t thank them enough for resolving the issue my car was having due to a recall. Thanks guys!

I met Ron and explained my situation to him and how picky I am. He was able to answer every question I could throw at him. I gotta admit, I have not made it easy for him. So far, this has been a great experience. Ron is probably one of the nicest and most honest guys I've met. The salesmen were knowledgeable and instrumental in my final decision, without being pushy. The place itself is nice and clean with drinks and snacks in the waiting room. I ended up leasing the 2019 A4 and love it. The process was similar to any other lease/purchase and I was able to drive the car right out that same night. My only complaints are that the detailing before I took the car home was a bit rushed and I had expected the interior to have been cleaned better. Lastly, I had only received one convenience key the day of pickup since they had to swap cars with another dealership. Supposedly, the second one was supposed to be FedEx over already but I haven't received it yet (been a week). I've reached out and awaiting a response. That being said, I would still highly recommend this dealership if you're looking to get yourself an Audi.
