C. Spain definitely showed a lot of support when I needed it. He never gave up on me, and made it personal to figure out what was important to me to find out what he can do to help my situation. Unfortunate accident occurred with my car, it was considered salvage. I wasn't sure what options I had, went to CCMC, to look at two cars I saw on the website. I spoke to the salesman, Brad, and the office manager. They were genuine, non pressuring, and gave me honest information. I returned on Jan 2nd to see what financing options were possible. Some basic info was taken, 15 mins later approved loan. Additional services were offered with no pressure on selection. Within two hours, the 2021 Equinox was mine. Payment within budget, honest and genuine help from the salesman. I've purchased five cars over my years, the best service from a sales representative, Brad Andersen ever. Respectful, Non-Pressuring, Supportive and Communicating through the entire process. If a second car is needed or the time comes for a replacement, I will return to Capital City Motor Company.

I really enjoyed the buying experience. Chris helped me and my boyfriend get into the car we have wanted for some time now. He was friendly, explained everything well and really helped us out. I would recommend going to him for purchasing a car. The only reason they did not get five stars is because I had issues with a leaking sunroof and cracked windshield, they were very nice, offered to fix them both. I dropped my car off two different times, and there was miscommunication so the windshield was never fixed, spoke to Ashton and he greatly apologized and said he's willing to fix it whenever I have time which I appreciate.. However... after taking my car through a car wash again, the sunroof is now leaking worse than it did before. I realize it is a used car so those things happen, just wish that it would have been fixed the right way like they said, or they told me "hey, really sorry but due to the used aspect of it, we aren't able to fix it" and I would have gotten it into a mechanic ASAP because water damage is something that no one wants to happen to their new car that they love!!! I would still say they are a good car lot with good intentions. Just think there is miscommunication and they may be so busy it's hard to keep up. Embarrassing to call them over and over again, to see what can or can't be done..

I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt because I know they get busy. But, I feel I have been more than patient. If I owed them $100 I am pretty sure I would be paying a late fee by now. lol

To see the inventory, you have to type into a form (can be fake information) Only half of the vehicles have a picture, and there is only one picture. None of the options are listed for the vehicle. The search criteria is limited. The last thing, which is quite cringe worthy, is the company's responses to negative reviews on Google... A lot can be said by reading through these responses. It reads like a lot of excuses and a defensive attitude Maybe, if I were desperate, I'd call them to get the prices of these vehicles. So far, there is nothing compelling to make me do so

If you are going to buy a car there here are 4 things you will absolutely need that they will not tell you up front 1. Current pay stub. 2. Social security card. 3. Insurance or ability to get insurance that day. 4. $500-1000 deposit. We took our son there to get a car. Its strange to me that the sales personnel do not know the cost of the cars. Its also strange that you will be approved for a loan and you are forced to spend what they choose. Example if your approved for $10,000 you cant buy a $8500 car. In the end we are pleased. Their communication between the sales reps and financing is very bad. My son walked away with a beautiful dodge dart, full of gas and ready to go. But it took 4 hours because we did not have all the items necessary for their requirements. I called befor we made the 30 minute drive and asked specifically what we would need and none of the above items were mentioned and we had friends sending picture of paystub ect because they told us w-2 and proof of residency. Crazy deal

Jared, a salesman at the east side Des Moines CCMC, assisted me with finding a vehicle that met my needs and personality. He was patient and genuine. He introduced me to Luke, Finance Manager, who worked endlessly to find a lender who could help me, given my bankruptcy had just discharged.
