Just Purchased my 2021 Camry from Steve Padgett's. My sales consultant Adrian Riley did an amazing job. Some highlights for me that he was patient with me, which is not easy. He respected my time and my requests. He did not push me to buy a car, he more was a consultant and provided information and options when choosing my car. It is not hard negotiating with another sales person. I have bought many cars and I would say he provided me the best customer service that is possible. So if you are in the market I would definitely call or visit Steve Padgett's and ask for Adrian Riley.

Josh, Chris, and all the staff at Steve Padgett’s Honda Of Lake Murray were ✨amazing✨ I purchased my first car (and my first Honda) from them and my experience honestly couldn’t have been better. I’ve driven the same car since I got my license in high school! It’s on its last leg and had gotten me through high school and college and so it was time for a new car. I shopped around at several dealerships and either the prices were outrageous, or the staff were unprofessional and unpleasant. When I decided to call Steve Padgett’s Honda, I was on my last attempt at finding myself a car. Chris went above and beyond to work with me and get me at an out the door price I was comfortable with. Josh was awesome—he was very communicative regarding delays in the arrival of my new HR-V, and very kind! I asked him so many questions over text and he never made me feel like I was being bothersome or asking silly questions! Thank you to everyone at Steve Padgett’s! If I never called them to purchase a vehicle, I don’t think I would’ve even attempted to step foot at a dealership for a long time. I’m so so happy with my purchase and I will definitely be purchasing future vehicles from them! I honestly never thought it would actually be possible to have a pleasant experience at a dealership but these guys have proved me wrong!

Great place to buy a car! I don't have great credit and they helped me find a finance company that would give me the payments I was looking for. Cedric Ruff my salesman was awesome in helping me find the perfect car and was very informative and did well at explaining the process. This was my first time buying a car from a dealership, I have only ever bought cash cars. Stephen Conti the sales manager was amazing as well and made the process very smooth. Would definitely recommend this team! Great customer service and really felt like they did all they could and went above and beyond to help me out!

Jacob helped me with my purchase of a 2017 Honda Odyssey. He is a pleasure to work with. Took his time to explain everything, didn't rush me and most importantly to me, NOT pushy. Worked with Jason, Kelvin, and Josh Paschall. All three were great to work with and tired their best to make sure I got everything I wanted. Was no pressure to make any decisions and made me feel like my experience was what was most important to them. Bought a used 2020 Nissan Frontier after seeing it listed online about a week ago. I was first contacted by Robert and he even sent me a detailed video of a walk through of the truck even before trying to get me in the dealership. They were very transparent and even showed me information about the truck from it's original sale, to owner history, to them shipping it to the Honda dealership and what they worked on while it was there. They even negotiated with me with pricing and financing and walked me through all the paper work. Nice full detail before I drove it off the lot and full tank of gas. I have had the truck for about five days now and can't love it more. Everyone there helped me purchase my dream car. Even have received phone calls from the team following up with me and how the truck is working.

I purchased a car for my mom at Steve Padgett Honda. At that time Tremaine Wood was in training and Robert Temple was guiding him and as he worked with me. Needless to say, it was a GREAT experience. All of the service guys are great, but Charlie and Chris have always gone the extra mile to make sure I’ve been taken care of. No matter what. Just completed purchase of a new CR-V. Before our first visit we had settled on model, trim level, color and accessories using Honda's website. Adrian Riley was most helpful getting exactly what we wanted, kept us up to date on status of our order, locating a matching unit sooner than we expected. In addition, Adrian and service staff worked to get dealer installed accessories mounted prior to the arrival of Hurricane Ian. For those two accessories that could not be installed prior to delivery an appointment was made to get this completed as soon as the storm has passed. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. I accompanied my parents as they looked for another vehicle. The search started 2 weeks ago and ended yesterday. My parents needed a different vehicle due to changes in my dads health and their income. They wanted to trade their oversized SUV for a minivan. They went by Honda of Lake Murray about 2 weeks ago and looked at them, but the prices just weren't lining up. They looked all over Columbia and as far as Conway. Nothing worked. They went a second time to Honda of Lake Murray and continued working with Brittni whom they spoke with their first visit. The second trip they also got to speak with Chris and Marcus. Both of whom tried very hard to find a way to get them the vehicle they wanted for the price that they needed. On the third visit they got their van. On our third trip out they had Steve Padgett the owner, Chris, Marcus, and Brittni all doing anything they could to maximize the trade and get them the vehicle they wanted for the price they needed. They never made my parents feel bad for being older and having a limited income. They didn't brush them off once they realized it wouldn't be a big sale. Brittni even kept in contact via call and text throughout the two weeks knowing they were talking to other dealerships. She wasn't pushy at all just checking in on if there was anything that she could help with and if we had thought of any questions. At one point Chris, Marcus and Brittni were looking at recent trades that had not even made it to the service department to see if there was something. Even insisted that they would NOT even suggest something to old or high miles because they wanted to find them a vehicle that would last. I have never been more impressed with a car dealership in my life. Brittni was so amazing my 3 year old misses her. Morale of the story don't go anywhere else. Go straight to Lake Murray Honda and ask for Brittni; you will not be disappointed.

Came in the dealership straight out of the bed in pajamas and smelling horridly. Was still treated with upmost respect by Adrian the salesman. He was absolutely first class and i would recommend anyone buying a car to check him out. Everyone was first class that i encountered. Only reason that they did not get 5 stars from me is i told them 5-6 times i did not want GAP or Warranty with the purchase. The finance guy pulled every stop out to make me buy these coverages. Super sketchy with the numbers at the end. Such a shame because everything else was absolutely flawless until the most important part came which was a let down. Overall i would recommend buying a car from them just watch what your bottom line is when you sign the dotted line!

Dealerships are notorious for being invested with vultures that stalk you the moment you get to the lot. That was not my experience today. Tyler came up to us and asked if we needed help. We said we were just looking. He kept his distance but was within ear shot when we had questions. That was perfect. He was knowledgeable and patient. He was quick to get the keys when we were ready to test drive. When we got in the car he didn’t pray or say 10 Hail Marys right away before pulling off into traffic. The whole experience was great. Even the finance dept was great! Caleb was fantastic and not pushy whatsoever. He did his up-sale tactics, but again. Not pushy. They both were amazing and changed my opinion about dealership. Bait and Switch Sales Department The overall experience at the dealership is very good. My sales agent Aaron was very professional and very responsive when I had questions regarding the vehicle that we were interested in on multiple occasions. I was able to text him which was very convenient to get the answers that I was looking for. Interesting enough where things kind of went sideways is when we actually started to review the paperwork for the financing and we noticed that there was an additional charge for a product called EnviroGuard ($1299) that was non negotiable in purchasing a used vehicle which was the Honda Odyssey. It appears that this dealership adds this product to all of their vehicles which I think should be optional We've purchased many vehicles in our lifetime and we do understand that dealerships do get compensated for additional add ons. But this item was non negotiable, and that really left a bad taste in our mouth. We really liked the vehicle, but we actually had to walk away from it because we just felt it wasn't in our best interest to do business with Steve Padgett's Honda that advertises one price but when you actually get to the portion of the car buying experience there's an additional fee of over $1,200 for something we did not ask for. I think at the end of the day, it's really all about setting the customer's expectations and I will say if you are interested in a car at Steve Padgett's Honda of Lake Murray, just keep in mind, you may see an additional charge on your contract. when it comes to the financing portion of the car buying experience. I'm not in the business of bashing businesses I understand that everyone needs to put food on their table at the end of the day. But I would go as far to call this sales tactic a bait and switch. Service Department Otherwise we did actually have to go to this dealership for service at one point. And this service agent was amazing. I wish I would have gotten his name. But we had some questions regarding scheduled maintenance and they were able to answer our questions in a very professional manner. The dealership was very clean. And anyone that I engaged with or even came into eye contact with was very pleasant and spoke. I hope this review of the dealership was useful. Otherwise I would hope that the dealership moving forward includes this add on to the advertised price of their vehicles

Happy is just an understatement! Last week, I purchased my very 1st brand new car. The process from start to finish was quick, simple, with no hassles. It started with a phone call from Ivee, who was very generous and caring. I told her what I wanted, she provided several options and called me back with great news the very next day. A bit late posting this but had a great experience. We bought our VW passat in September from here. Could not say enough nice things about them. Our sales lady Ivee was wonderful. Very professional but down to earth and relaxed. They didn't have the type of vehicle we wanted withing our budget (we wanted an SUV or a truck if possible, but 6 cylinders if we had to settle for a sedan) and she worked really hard to find something in our budget that was acceptable when we couldn't get that (we looked elsewhere too, the market just didn't have what we wanted). She did not try to push any vehicle on us like many car salespeople do, if we said no to a vehicle for some reason she would immediately move on without trying to push it, instead taking the vehicles we did show interest in and telling us all about them. We ended up with a sedan with 4 cylinders but it has a turbo which definitely makes up the power we were looking for in 6. She also actually stayed in our budget. We told her out max number, and she stayed in that range. I've noticed many times (even another dealership that same day did this) they will take your max number and add one or two thousand on top to try to upsell you. But she stayed where we wanted. I think after taxes and everything we paid 500-600 more than the top price we gave her, which is fine because that number was for the car itself, not the walk out price. Nearly 4 months later my husband and I are both super pleased with the car and have not had any issues. Probably will come back here next time we're in the market.

My husband and I had been looking all over for a used truck for our son. He's young with kids and needed a larger vehicle than the hand-me-down Ranger that he has been driving since he got his license. Of course when we checked out the truck, he loved it, we loved it and we went ahead with paperwork for the trades and financing. As it was, the person handling the paperwork for our truck had to leave for a family emergency and it took even longer than expected. Ivee was super accommodating and made sure we were comfortable while we waited. Kaleb not only negotiated me a great price but went out of his way to find me a $100 coupon for an accessory I had purchased. He didn't have to do this because I had already purchased the vehicle 2 weeks prior so I was amazed to get a phone call alerting me that I would have a check coming to me in the mail. So I visited the service department yesterday. First and foremost I was greeted by a kind and knowledgeable staff. I explained my issue and they were on it immediately. I looked around and the facilities are amazing. Snack bar, complimentary drinks and comfy seats all around. I do want to mention Tiffany from the service department she was the individual that helped me. She was an excellent service rep that I would definitely recommend. We just purchased a new Honda Odyssey from Honda of Lake Murray. What an incredible dealership! High tech and beautiful. Huge service dept. and even a restaurant. Waiting area with big screen tv! Major comfort for their customers! It was a terrific experience from start to finish. We walked in the front door and were given time and space to look around on our own (not accosted by a swarm of sales people eager for our business). We found this to be a refreshing change. When we felt we were ready to speak to a sales associate we asked the receptionist at the front desk to call someone to assist us. Our sales associate was Josh Mathew and he answered all the questions we had about the vehicle we were interested in. There was never any pressure and we were offered a test drive which we accepted. We loved everything the Odyssey had to offer and it met our current needs. Next we were introduced to Kris Child, General Sales Manager that stepped in to assist with our trade and he then put our offer together. It was a fair and haggle free offer that we accepted. Our last step was with Rob Heath, financial consultant who helped us out with a terrific interest rate on the amount we chose to finance. He was so helpful and thoroughly explained all of our options. This was a quick and seamless transaction. I also want to mention his honesty in regard to helping us choose the extended warranty option that best suited our needs. My husband is a retired executive whose position included years of financial and purchasing experience. He felt that Lake Murray Honda was very fair and honest with our new car purchase. We love the close proximity of Lake Murray Honda for our service needs. The other individual we would like to mention was Paul Thompson in the Parts Dept. who assisted with an accessory part we ordered for our van. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Service adviser chased the warranty approval and kept me updated through the entire process. While warranty work was being completed, I was kept up to date on status and when vehicle would be ready. The fact that they do a full car inspection on your vehicle while get just a standard oil change is a A+ for me and prices are actually firm if you need any other work done to your car far as breaks. They also throw in a complementary car wash that will definitely have your car looking brand new. I thought they put me in a brand new car because of how my car looked. This is definitely my favorite Honda Dealer in the Midlands. It is far from the most convenient location for me to choose for sales and servicing, but I would never go anywhere else. Simple oil change with an appointment shouldn't take an hour and 20 minutes. Be prepared for the upsale-there is always something else needed. Service advisors are friendly enough. Waiting room is comfortable and set up for social distancing. There is a picnic table outside if you prefer to wait there. Experience is basically the same as any mechanical shop. Nothing stands out as superior to anywhere ele.
