I had a great experience purchasing a certified pre-owned vehicle from Charles Robinson Jr. at Midlands Honda. I came from 10 hours away in Indian and I asked Charles to be honest with me about the vehicles condition and if it had any problems before I left. He assured me that it was very clean and in great condition. When we arrived the car couldn't had been any cleaner and was everything he said it was. The paperwork and purchasing was a breeze, they were able to work with us on the price. One of the best experiences I've ever had at a dealership. Charles is a great guy, very nice and honest. We left with a full tank of gas on our way back to Indiana. I highly advise purchasing a car from Charles Robinson Jr. at Midlands Honda, he'll take care of you.

Just finished purchasing a 2022 CRV. The service was exceptional! Brandon and Claude teamed up to get me in and out with minimal delay. The car deal and extended warranty package were definitely competitively priced with all the other dealers. Since the car business is so strapped for inventory these days I had to shop all the other local dealers as well as a couple more out of town businesses. I had an amazing experience at Midlands! I bought my first car, a 2022 Civic Sport. The car had to be pre ordered, but all was fine and my car was here before i knew it. We drove up from Charleston to check out a Ridgeline we liked. Tony White (senior concierge) greeted us, and despite being busy with other customers, helped us get set up and test drive not just the model we came to see but a couple others. Tony was incredible throughout our long process of checking out several vehicles before settling on a beautiful new Ridgeline Black Edition. Finance team and paperwork was a breeze. It's been a while since the wife and I were on a car lot so we weren't sure what to expect. Midlands Honda and Tony exceeded our expectations. Midland Honda met all my expectations from start to finish throughout the car buying process. Mr. Charles Green, my salesman, ensured all my needs were met and went above and beyond to ensure I knew all the features of my Honda Civic. Although I was a previous Honda Owner, he wanted to ensure I understood the updates of the newest features on the car. He also showed us features on the Honda CR-V, which wasn't purchased through them but still treated us as if it was. I recently purchased a vehicle from Midlands Honda and the car buying experience was absolutely great. Pros: - Our car representative Mr. Jerry Ardis was amazing. Very warm, and kind. Did not pressure us at all, we immediately had that warm and fuzzy feeling when we met him. - The vehicle (2020 Chevy Malibu) was priced decently and the car was in great condition. When we drove it, it did have a battery issue and the dealership put in a brand new battery for us to ensure it was squared away. - Days after purchasing the car, Mr. Ardis called me to personally check on me and the family and make sure the car battery was doing well and that my family and I were still happy with the car. That was VERY kind and pretty touching. They already got my money, but they still cared enough to do that check up :) - Good people Cons: - In my recent experience many dealers try to push the 'extra' things that comes with buying a car as mandatory when it's just not. It's optional. - The car only had 1 key and I was expecting two, you know these new car keys cost an arm and a leg Overall: Very pleased with my purchase and the interaction with Mr. Jerry and with the Finance guy. They were very reasonable. Also the facility itself is probably the VERY best car dealership I have ever seen. Have you seen the waiting area?! It's crazy nice. :)

I live in Florida and have been looking for a new Civic to buy for My Grandson. I have communicated with dealers all up and down the East Coast without finding the vehicle I was looking for at a fair price. I emailed Midland Honda and Josh D’Amico promptly responded, we then spoke and worked a deal within minutes. The car came in 10 days later, I flew to South Carolina the next day and picked it up. I asked that everything be ready when I got there so I could start the 600+ mile drive home. Not only was all the paperwork done but the car was gassed up and sitting out front for my long drive home. There was never any other charges added or mentioned (I was offered the normal warranties and protections but was never pressured for anything) I would highly recommend this dealership and especially Josh D’Amico. It is scarce for us to receive such fantastic customer and rapid service. Even from the beginning of booking an appointment, they were very thorough with how they helped me figure out what was wrong with our car. That gave me a piece of mind that they care about their customers. More significantly, on the morning of our appointment, we dropped our car off, and the facility was clean and had friendly staff. A couple of hours later, I received a phone call, and they stated that some of the parts (fuel injector) were covered by Honda. That alone told me that not only does Honda organization care about us, but also how service representatives do their due diligence to make sure their customers come first before the company's financial gain. Carl, you're awesome, brother; thank you so much for your assistance. I highly recommend it. I can't wait to do business with them again!!

For the past several months, I had been tossing around the idea of trading in my Odyssey for an SUV. I looked at a few other models of vehicles, but just was not finding one with everything that fit my needs. The only SUV I had not taken a look at yet was the Honda Pilot. So, long story short, I went to get the oil changed in my Odyssey and left with a brand new Honda Pilot. After, I dropped off my vehicle in service, I asked to see the Pilot and was introduced to salesman Charles Robinson Jr. He is, by far, the best car salesman I have ever dealt with. A marvelous interaction from start to finish. Two months ago, I began my search for a car to replace my truck, and I wanted to get a good deal on the trade value. Jacob Bryant, my salesman, came through for me. After I got the offer I was looking for, we began discussing the 2022 Honda Civic, and I quickly reserved one and waited patiently for it to show up. However, halfway through the waiting process, I decided to go with the Civic Si. Long story short, Jacob is without a doubt the best car salesman I have ever done business with. From the moment of first contact, to me changing my mind, all the way to seeing the deal come to fruition, Jacob was extremely attentive and patient with my many, many questions. He was very eager to help me and would even text me with updates on my car and other cars that became available that I was interested in -- without me asking! He also didn't hound me, either, to try to get me into the dealership faster. Jacob, if you read this, it was awesome to finally meet you. If I ever have to get another car, I will find you. Zeke (I did not get his last name) in financing was very fast and extremely helpful regarding information on financing and warranties. He, too, was patient with me after I would ask for clarification on things that made me confused. Overall, Midlands Honda has my business now and in the future. I had a wonderful experience purchasing a vehicle from Brandon Greene at Midlands Honda. Through my indecisiveness in picking a car and finding a car I love. He found one that he thought I would love (which I do love my car), but from him making observations from what I loved in multiple cars, he found the perfect one for me. After test driving the car, he started the whole process of me purchasing the car, the process was simple and easy to do. Before I left the dealership with my car Brandon made sure it was in perfect conditions and made sure I knew how everything worked, which was very kind. Overall Brandon was very patient with me and helpful throughout the whole process, I know wasn’t the easiest person to work with me being very picky with the body style and etc. After having my cars for about a week, Brandon checked in to see how everything with the car was going and to see if I still loved it. My husband and I will always use Midlands Honda. Initially, this was not the case... We recently had a regular service and a repair covered by warranty. The "repair covered by warranty" was in regards to an on-going problem (almost a year, maybe?) that no one could figure out the cause. It was only when Will Wilkinson was our service tech, that we finally had an answer to the problem. He went above and beyond to resolve the issue. In mine and my husband's 30+ years of owning vehicles. we have NEVER had the superlative service, commitment and follow through that Will has consistently provided. Even after he moved to a new position, he regularly stayed in contact with us to keep us updated on the status of the part we were waiting for. Sebastian was our service tech for this visit (he was good too), but Will came out and spoke with us to go over the install of the part the came in and just to make sure we were satisfied. If it were not for his sheer determination to customer satisfaction and truly applying & understanding his role in the service department, the issue with the auto start/stop problem would have continued to no end. Will is an exceptional employee who takes pride in his work and clearly understands how a customer centric attitude, a commitment to problem solving and following through to the end can solidify a loyal customer for life AND generational customers from that. It is because of our experience with Will, that we will always choose Midland's Honda for the service of our cars.

I purchased a new 2023 Honda Odyssey at Midlands Honda. Its been a few years since I purchased a new car, but this has to be the most pleasant experience I've ever had. First, I like that the inventory online is accurate and they are very upfront about their pricing and exactly what you will be getting. I worked with Mr. Chris Shuler who was professional, competent in his knowledge about the car, and very courteous. The dealership even came to my house to pick me up so I could take possession of the car and drive it home. All around 5 star service!. Midlands Honda is great. *But I still want to remind my ladies and first time buyers... Please do your research before you go to any dealer. Have your questions and concerns ready. Most dealers will still sell you a payment, because let's face it, that's what most people only care about. But go in knowing your bottom line, like the total you want to spend, are you getting a discount or rebate with that, do you want that additional warranty, service contract, gap insurance, etc (most will assume you want it all). Do your loan calculations, knowing your terms and interest rate. Don't just focus on a payment alone. And again, that goes for EVERY dealership. Most of us buyers just don't know the right questions to ask. And that is our own fault. They are just doing their job. Happy shopping!

The service here is terrible. We purchased our car from here and bought the service plan. Even if you call ahead and make an appointment the oil change still takes 2 hours. They even have this sign out front that time is money but it’s an absolute joke. After the service plan is done I will not be returning for an oil change yet alone purchase our next vehicle

While they were inspecting the car and securing the skid plate, I was utterly impressed by this dealership. It was so clean and provided many areas to watch a movie or just relax and charge devices. The technician provided a link that showed a video of the various things that could need attention on my car in the future. Drove 1.5 hours to Spartanburg only to find out the car I really wanted was sold an hour prior. Forrest made sure the car I wanted will be available for me when I get there. Had some transportation issue that day, and he even offered to pick me up from Fort Mill, South Carolina. Mind you, this is an hour away from Columbia. This time I came in for an oil change, the gentleman I spoke with is Matt. Matt noticed unusual wear on my front driver's side tire and Honda rotated my tires free of charge since I've only put 1k miles on the tires. After the oil change: I received a video detailing the status of my brakes, Air filters, and tire tread. I've never seen that before and service was A+. I've visited another Honda dealership in the Columbia SC area and the service at Midlands is easily the better dealership in my opinion. I'm military and stationed here for a brief period but if I need additional service while in Columbia SC, I'll definitely be back.

From the minute we drove on the lot we were treated well and acknowledged by every employee that passed our vehicle as we waited to be checked in at service. It is a small thing but, after having our car serviced, the staff took the time to wash our Pilot. We purchased our car in 2016 from Midlands Honda and for a while this courtesy was stopped. We also liked the texts sent and personal phone calls from Jeff to talk about the work our vehicle needed. He was patient and answered all of our questions. We also like that under the new owners, many former staff remain. My relationship with Midlands Honda has been a mixed experience. Purchasing a Honda Fit in 2016, I had a great, honest salesman. The finance manager was almost the opposite, directly lying to me that if I did not sign up for the extended warranty at the time of purchase, my car was only covered for only the 1st year of service. Outside of the engine and transmission, after the 1st year I would be on my own. No "bumper to bumper for 3 years of 36k miles." The general manager I talked to about this lie later would only say he was not responsible for what his employees said to their customers. My recent visit again was mixed for an oil change. With a 50% coupon, upon pickup they only had me down for $10 off. The coupon with the discount on the front was conveniently stapled upside down. Each time I have had my oil changed at Midlands Honda, they performed their multi point vehicle inspection, there was none this time. (No colored sheet listing the status of my car's component conditions.) Was it because I had boldness to say I didn't need my air filter replaced since I had just done it earlier myself? I don't now. I thought this was routine service for a car purchased brand new from their lot. Obviously there are going to be certain things the average person can do or replace to their cars. But the day will come when I really will need some repair service work done But I am not having a good feeling about taking it to Midlands Honda, even though it has been a good car and I had the best salesman.

"Customer" beware!! I had a good experience getting my Honda serviced. Jeff N. was a terrific Service Advisor and helped me get my vehicle serviced in an appropriate amount of time. But be forewarned - Midlands Honda schedules service appointments as though we, their customers, are cattle! From talking with some of the others who were waiting for their service to be finished it became clear that they are more concerned with maximizing their Service Technicians' output than minimizing the waiting time of their customers. It's as bad as a poorly run doctor's office. Come prepared to lose many hours or drop your car off and come back later.

Service manager and new management is great. Paul Ray is the service manager and really cares about how your visit is handled. His supervisor also has made a difference; my last visit I believe was mid March of this year for oil and tire rotation. I was invited into their office for great conversations about how they have made some great changes which benefits everyone. Great Service!!
