I was still expecting the normal car salesperson double cross at some point. However, she was straight forward and got me squared away with the perfect car at a reasonable price. 2/13 - I wanted to update this review. To our disappointment the same day we purchased our vehicle it began to smoke. We had to turn around and go back to the dealership. When we got back our salesperson walked right by me and had no real concern or sense of urgency. There wasnt a service person there so they directed us to the warranty company on Monday. They sent us on our way indicating it was a coolant splatter from the top off. After their nonchalant approach to the issue we called the warranty dealers in our area Monday. We were immediately told they would have the car for a week while trying to work with the warranty company. As a result we took the car to the Nissan Dealership in our town. Inspections do cost so after spending $160 it was determined the source of the issue was a cracked radiator cap. Part cost just under $30. How could something like that be missed in the supposed thorough inspection. Overall the car seems solid but what a disappointing customer service experience at the end. *********************** We worked with JoAnna and she was awesome! She helped us find just the right vehicle for the family. Excellent, easy, no haggle, transparent experience!!

My experience in buying a used car here was superb. As a diplomat, there was a special procedure in the purchase as some fees are not applicable. In other dealerships I visited, the agents had mostly been aggressive (and condescending at times) in pushing for a deal, and close-minded regarding the special procedure for diplomats. At DriveTime Lombard IL, it was altogether different. They were straightforward in terms of the deal details, particularly the pricing. And, my agent, Yaz Qafisheh, was very patient in effecting the applicable procedure for me. I'd definitely recommend DriveTime. I had a very pleasant experience unlike in other dealerships.

Often times, when you walk into a dealership the atmosphere can be really dry. There might be one only one person that will greet you. Then you get to there desk and they tell you “you can get a car with $5000 down and a co-signer.” Now the pressure is on you begin to sweat as they grill you and force you to find someone. When coming to Drive Time, I was very worried about how the process would work out because anyone who has looked into getting a car before knows that most of the time companies tell you that you are approved, it may not necessarily be the full truth. There is generally a twist involved or more requirements outside of what was initially stated. I'm so happy I went to Drive Time. I was greeted at the door by the staff, they weren't stalking me or pressuring me into getting anything. I felt very comfortable because the whole staff is friendly and they treat you as if they've known you for a while. Besides my experience with the staff, the process they have set up with test driving etc is very simple and they get you in and out. I absolutely love my 2015 Chevy Malibu. It drives very good and it's been very reliable so far and I keep getting compliments and people asking me where I got it. So of course I refer them to Drive Time. But seriously I'm not just doing this review because they mentioned it or just for the hell of it, I wanted to do this review because I want to reassure people that it Drive Time is a nice car lot with reliable cars. I was in NEED of a car due to my prior car going out and felt hopeless because I went to like 4 cat lots prior to and was told I couldn't get a car but not Drive Time. They made it possible and I definitely plan on going back in the future!!!!! Oh... and my sales rep was Fredy, he was awesome and I believe her name was Joanne. But them 2 helped me and they're amazing.

My old car was ready to retire, she had a long rough life she should've retired sooner but I was not looking forward to going to a dealership, for some reason I remembered that old nope/yup Drivetime commercial so I decided to take a chance and go there. I took my friend/financial expert with me and I was very surprised. I mean Paul and Jason were amazing. It was a different experience than a regular dealership,I got a car I love at a price I can afford. I don't know if it's because they don't work on commission but I never felt pressured into getting something I didn't want. Also, when I chose the car I wanted they went through the auto facts so I had the history of my car. My friend/financial advisor bought a car at a big dealership 2 years ago and they definitely didn't do that. When the time comes for me or any of my family/friends to get a car I will definitely go back. Seriously. Even if you don't have perfect credit try them! I swear they're a different kind of car dealership... Like dealership 2.0 or super dealers

I have 0 patience for any kind of activity so, buying a car was a major frustration for me. I made an appointment online after getting an approval and cringed at the idea still. I ended up going into the dealership earlier than my appointment time and was accomodated immediatly by a great salesman named Max. He took all of my info ran it and came back to say, you are approved for anything on our lot, take your pick. My husband and I had about 10 different cars picked out and Max took his time with each one. We test drove and chatted and changed our minds a couple of times but he remained calm and continued to let us pick car after car until we came across the final one. Max sat down and explained everything and got us set up and ready to go. This was the easiest car buying expierience ever and I will be recommending customers! We also had a pleasent experience with Luis, the guy who finalized the contract. He was very knowledgeable and friendly.
