My fiancé and I were in the market for a new SUV and had looked at multiple dealers before coming here. We currently had a Honda lease and were debating sticking with Honda just to make the lease end process easy. I’m so glad we didn’t!! Scott at parkway Toyota was great! He made the whole process of finding our new RAV4 so easy and trading in my current Honda lease so simple. Buying a car during the pandemic wasn’t ideal, due to wait times and shortages but this was honestly the best experience I’ve had buying a new car. I would recommend Scott and the rest of parkway Toyota if you are in the market for a new car!

Just an all around positive experience at Toyota parkway. Two of the people I dealt were James and Lori, they set the tone for a stress-free scheduled maintenance check up. They were professional, attentive to my particular needs and questions, believe me other service related businesses could take a few notes here. The check up was prompt, addressed everything I wanted it to while I waited in a peaceful, clean waiting room. Service from start to finish was the way you wish it was all the time. A few months ago I was in the market for a new pick up truck. However, with car shortages/supply issues looming I was concerned about the buying process. James (manager) and Charles (salesman) quickly changed my outlook. Both were always upfront, honest, responsive, not pushy and most importantly made sure I got what I wanted. I also received a solid trade in offer for my Kia Optima, which was higher than other dealerships, for my previous car. I stopped by the dealership on my way home since my vehicle needed some maintenance. I was greeted by a service writer named Jeff. Jeff helped me set an appointment the next day for service and a concern that I had.
I arrived the next day, Jeff was there, and greeted me. Jeff gave me a time frame of how long it would take and kept his word. I was pretty much in & out.

Staff was VERY helpful. Service advisor looked up my service record from another Toyota dealer so she knew just what services had been done to the car and printed it out for the techs. She did very careful and thorough work. Provided a Lyft home and back. Another service advisor brought my car inside during a big rainstorm so I wouldn’t get soaked retrieving the car! Five stars is not enough for these guys!

Great experience taking an ownership of a new car. Everything was pleasant from negotiating to heading out. Separate thanks to Peter for leading us all the way. If I have to complain, I wish there was a better appointment system throughout the process. First Come First Server approach took a bit of its toll on us.

I initially had a very bad experience with one of the team members here and didn’t have plans of coming back. I received a follow up call and they asked me if I wanted to come back and see another member. I was hesitant but Leo made my experience great and I was able to purchase the car I was looking for. We had some time to chat and found out we’re both car lovers and had a lot in common! Salesmen usually don’t connect with clients on a personal level but it felt like we were good friends just hanging out. I highly recommend asking for Leo to help with your visit. Oil change was quick and additional services were suggested with clear reasoning and prices. Just completed a purchase of a 2023 4Runner TRD Pro with Parkway. Overall an above average dealer experience (based on the very low bar of average car dealers)
Pros:
- They got me into a Pro in a matter of days. These typically had a year long waitlist even pre-pandemic
- Willing to work with my schedule and didn’t pressure me to come in for the hard sell
- Scott Vachon in sales was great, very friendly, no nonsense, quick to respond (even off hours)
- Mike in Finance was also great. Very little of they typical F&I upsell of useless addons.
Cons:
- They still use all the typical dealer sales tricks “somebody else just called on that vehicle”
- Web “smart path price” is a bait and switch. They don’t honor it and started talking markups as soon as I asked for OTD numbers. I talked them down a bit, and would have walked other than the fact that Pro’s sold at markup even pre pandemic. My deal was fair but not great
- They lowballed my trade. They knew it and I knew it, but I did push them to come up to the point where trade+sales tax allowance was within a couple hundred of what Carmax offered so it wasn’t worth my time to push harder.
- They pulled the usual BS “Toyota says we have to finance all new sales” We l know that’s just a way to get another kickback from Toyota Motor Finance. No prob, saves me the trouble of going to the bank for a cashiers check and I’ll just pay it off next week before the first statement.
- This is the big annoyance. After sale service was poor. I picked up Saturday, so they where going to process my registration transfer Monday when RMV opened and email me the docs ( you can legally drive on transfer plates a few days). For some reason it ended up taking 5-6 days for them to get the insurance stamp and registration done and I had to keep texting and calling to nag. Obviously just laziness on the part of their back office as they can typically do this in an hour while customer wait weekdays, AND they had no trouble finding the time to list my trade for retail the very next day!!! Even before they legally had title filed!

I have purchased 2 cars within 1 year. My first was a used 2018 Toyota Camry XSE which I bought during Covid and paid more due to the Car inventory, etc. I was advised to get gap insurance which was more, but glad I did. My car was totaled and everything was covered. I Loved that car. I went back to Kevin Welch who sold me the first car, Kevin is a polite, kind and honest person. No need to shop around. I stick with good people when I do business. I have had nothing but a good experience at Parkway Toyota. Hello Monterrosa in Finance is a true gentleman also. Purchased a used luxury vehicle from Parkway this Summer. While the employees are very kind and helpful, getting you to purchase this vehicle, be cautious. Even if you come prepped and ready with your own financing, they will sugar coat their own and please read any and all fine fine print. Their financing will not benefit you. Also charge you an extra thousand bucks to do a “safety inspection “ prior to purchasing. Interesting how the oil was never changed, brake rotors and pads extremely worn and scratches we were told would be buffed out we’re not even touched. Hound you down to buy from them, can’t get ahold of them afterwards. Classic scenario..

Charles Wiseman is The Man you want to deal with. Very knowlegeable on his cars. He was born to do this. Beyond that, his customer service kept me at ease when there was a small dispute with my account and was finally settled fairly based on my honest concerns. I commend the others as well who were involved in this process.
That gesture of ensuring the customer is taken care of has won my loyalty and if I don't buy a Toyota in the future then I will still refer people to Parkway Toyota because of Charles. Car salespeople get a bad rap for trying to take advantage of people but I strongly believe Charles Wiseman is the total contrary because he is very transparent when you have questions and he is very honest. I wish all people in dealerships were like him. He is truly a good guy

This is a review of the salesperson Charles Wiseman. Charles met all the requirements of a salesperson, he was polite, responsive, and knowledgeable. I was put in touch with him after using the SmartPath tool on the website, something I suggest you do, and he immediately honored the quote I received. I was able to reserve the car listed on the site within 15 minutes of contacting him.
The car took about two months to arrive and he contacted me promptly when it did. Our in person meeting was excellent. He was attentive to my needs as well as those of my wife and her friend who was with us. It was our first car buying experience and he explained the paperwork well. He offered us the chance to purchase dealer options, showing us what they had, not being overly aggressive in the sales pitch, and accepting no as an answer the first time.
He worked very hard to make sure the car would be available to leave the dealership that day, he stayed with us until a few minutes before closing time to make sure we knew everything we needed to. Charles struck me as a sincere person, he did not have any of the traits that you might negatively associate with car sales. If you do choose Parkway Toyota and you have the opportunity to choose a salesperson, I would strongly recommend Charles Wiseman.

I had a great experience here tonight, I felt like the guys helping me were very nice and honest and one of them even offered to give me a car wash because he felt like the snow was what was wrong with my car. I appreciated not being made to feel stupid and I appreciate the friendliness. 3 people came up to me and welcomed me and it was an overall really great experience. I don’t remember anyone’s name but the nice guy with the white hair, tall man at the service desk were great. I never felt pressured to buy or do anything and I appreciate that as a woman. Thanks! I scheduled a service appointment approximately 5-7 days prior for a recall part. I then received a call 2 days prior and was offered a rental car for the day, which was fantastic. However, when I arrived for my appointment, they could not find an record of me having an appointment. I had a confirmation text to show, but it didn’t seem to pose a problem. I then inquired about the rental car, and I was told, “I don’t think we have one.” Since my appointment time was very early, they were able to service my car first. I was offered a ride home, but I opted to stay. While there was definite miscommunication and a mild clerical error, they were quick to rectify and I was actually out of there within the hour. And their coffee is great!

We just purchased a 2022 RAV4 Prime from Charles at Parkway Toyota! I had been calling around and there weren’t any Primes available. I called Parkway late one evening and asked if they had any available. They said they had one in transit that was available. We were going to go to the dealership the next day but after discussing it we decided to call back and ask if we could put a down payment on it so no one else could. Management called me back after hours and helped set everything in motion. We had never purchased anything sight unseen before. It was a bit scary. We had to wait a couple of months for the car to arrive. Charles kept me posted on its status. Once it arrived Charles called us and we scheduled our delivery. When I saw the vehicle I was extremely relieved. It was better that I had hoped! It was gorgeous! I had never driven a Hybrid before and this car is amazing! The transaction itself was pretty seamless seeing we were purchasing the vehicle for our business. Business transactions always take longer but the dealership is really comfortable so it didn’t feel like we were there forever. Charles and the rest of the staff were excellent! For a great car and an excellent experience I highly recommend Parkway Toyota!

I find this dealership to be a little more laidback compared to other dealers and I like that. I looked at cars many times here in the past and they usually give me space to peruse until I was ready to talk to someone. I bought a car from one of their salesman, Charles Wiseman, in June of 2022. He has a great work ethic and I certainly would buy a car from him again.

I had a very bad experience buying a car from here. I had so much pressure working with the salesman, and I had been pushed to sign all the documents without test driving the car and without knowing what I signed up for. It was partially due to my own lack of experience and also the fact that I didn't do enough research. In the end I got a base model car that didn't meet my needs, but I paid the price that could have bought me a higher trim level. I wish the salesman could have helped me more in searching and understanding the features and price of different trim levels. Apparently, they don't care, they only want to lock you in and make as much money as they can in any way from a deal even if it is very bad for the customers.

My experience the day of buying the car was great. Leo and Andrew were friendly and I walked out of the dealership elated, telling everyone how great an experience it was! However, everything since that day has been one of the messiest buying experiences in awhile. I got my car late because of some mix up and couldn't get the car inspected before leaving because their sticker machine wasn't working. They said it was fine to get it inspected somewhere else and would reimburse me the money to do so. Fast forward to getting the car inspected and I had to replace the windshield wipers because they had no blades to pass inspection. When I called to ask about getting this reimbursed as well, I was told that that could not be done. Now I suppose that makes sense since they could do it in house essentially free... but they couldn't inspect my car because their machine was down, so what choice do I have but to go somewhere else? What if it had been my seatbelt or lights that made the car not pass inspection and their inspection machine was still down, would they still not reimburse me? Now it wasn't expensive to get that fixed but this is more based on principle. I could mention a few other things, but I think this gets the spirit of my review across. Messy.

As far as the service provided, I take no issue. However, Toyota has a part on backorder. The part has rendered a door on the Sienna inoperable. My wife drives my children around in that vehicle. Toyota, this is highly unsatisfactory, and must be remedied at once. Toyota’s vehicles cannot be recommended by me at this time.

The counter person who checked me in, Joe Walsh, was super nice. The work on my car (just recall work and routine maintenance) took about the amount of time I was told to expect. I spent the time happily working in the comfortable waiting area, enjoying the free (and decent) coffee and donuts. I always work really well here! I only wish there were outlets on the chairs, but luckily, I was able to leave when my computer battery still had half its charge. My car got a free wash, but I wish the mirrors had been included in this clean-up; I’ll have to wipe away the water spots myself. Anyway, great experience overall!

I just leased me second vehicle from Prime after the first car I purchased was recently totaled. Having been totally unprepared for needing to buy a new car, I walked in completely lost as to what I was looking for or could afford. Four and a half hours later I had test driven 3 cars and looked into numbers on three others. I never felt like they were sick of me or like I was a bother. Fernando worked with me every step of the way to make sure I was getting something I liked and could afford. He was patient and kind and sat with me again two days later for another 2+ hours while we worked out the financials. When I went to pick up the car he showed me how all of the new features worked, went over all of the fine details with me, and continued to be friendly and patient. I received similar service with my first experience as well. I genuinely believe I will continue my car buying experiences with Prime and will recommend them to others. I have never felt so comfortable in a car dealership.

I just purchased a Prius a month ago. At first the employees who helped me seemed very helpful and they worked with me to get the rate and price right. But, there has been some paperwork issues and almost no communication. I have to chase after my sales rep to get updates, and no one else at Toyota seems to be able to help. They put a BUNCH of hard inquiries on my credit after I already signed on a loan from them. I keep getting denial letters. I am trying to transfer plates and now that might be a problem too. I didn't consent to that many loan applications and a month is way too long to take to get these things done. I am a full time student and commute over an hour to school three times a week. Plus my two jobs and being a parent. I need a car. If I had known they were going to take this long . I understand that issues happen and there can be red tape, but they should be calling me when things aren't going right instead of waiting for me to chase after them.This all could have been taken care of before.
Update: This matter was resolved about a day after I wrote this review. I was able to keep my plates but I still have all these credit inquiries to deal with. I added a star because the company was responsive here, but it was a rather frustrating experience (most likely for the employees too.)

Everyone in the service section was very courteous. The man that delt with my car was knowledgeable and able to show me what needed to be done with my car in the future. He also directed me to the service manager. I explain to the service manager that I had been told by the previous service manager that I would be refunded the $75 difference between the tire I bought at Toyota and the price I would pay if I bought it from Firestone. She politely explained that she could not give me a cash refund, but would give me a store service credit. I was very pleasantly surprised by the whole Interaction, and she was very accommodating. It was a good experience. I love my RAV4!

We had a great experience at Prime Toyota. We emailed 5 dealerships and got a low, straightforward offer from Prime that brought us in. Once we were there Kenneth was a great help. He was very honest and did not put any pressure on us. Then the sales manager did a great job of describing our lease options, so we felt informed about all of our decisions. Lastly, we got a tour of the car features and the service department, and they even connected out phones to the bluetooth system so we could start using this feature immediately. I did not think the process could be as smooth and easy as it was. We would definitely recommend Prime and would return ourselves for our next car.

Joe Walsh was excellent. However other aspects were not. The dealership failed to answer the phone multiple times during normal business hours and it immediately went to an after hours recording.
While doing paperwork I needed to make some copies. The service assistant basically told me to do it myself and while I was making copies was talking about her period or child delivery ( whatever the topic it was not something to be shared in an area where customers were present.

I wanted to leave a review based on my experience yesterday Aug 19. I stopped into the dealership on a whim, after leaving several competing dealerships. I had left the other dealerships after being ignored and having no one even acknowledge my presence! Upon pulling up to Prime Toyota, there were several salesmen standing outside the front doors. Everyone appeared neat, clean, and presentable. As I approached, a salesman came right up to me, hand extended to shake and introduced himself as Steven Chisolm. Steven showed me several trucks, never ever pressured me or tried to "sell" me. Steven was easily the best car salesman I have encountered. It was a breathe of fresh air to have someone more like a friend help me navigate new vehicle options and speak honestly about financials. Steven took time to show me numerous models, and took time to test drive several as well. Before leaving, Steven introduced me to a floor manager and walked me outside. I am working currently to make a deal "work", and am looking forward to hopefully leasing my new vehicle at this dealership.

Even when I had to wait for the finance department (which can take some time), they had massage chairs, food, and Home Alone on the tv. I like coming here for service because the staff is really nice. And even though Prime Toyota is a big brand, the people who work here act more like a family...or at least this is what I have observed.
Today, I got a sticker shock from getting my car serviced. But the person who helped me (Dale) and one of the mechanics took the time to show me the conditions of my brake system amd why they needed to be changed. This matters to me a lot because as a consumer.
I just wish they had coupons to help lower the cost of these things.

We had an excellent experience at Prime Toyota. Our customer representative, Fernando Burgos, greeted us warmly, listened carefully for what we were looking for, showed us the car that fit our needs, quickly arranged for a test drive, and gave us a ton of useful information about our options. The exact car we wanted was not a common configuration, and the dealer found it and acquired it very quickly. The transaction was complicated because we were trading in our daughter's car, which was registered in New Hampshire. Nevertheless Fernando clearly explained what we had to do to complete the transaction, which was done very efficiently and painlessly. We are delighted with the new car and the customer service we received from everyone at Prime. I recommendation Prime without hesitation.

I drove in and two guys vacuumed, but only partially did the front floor mats. I didnt expect a full detail, but they left a bunch of trash from the kids in the back, so what's the point? When they brought my Highlander back in, I cleaned out the rest while the guys watched. I waited for about 10 minutes at the service desk while 3 or 4 service people walked by, chatted with each other. Finally a really nice person came over and checked me in. I was the only one in line at 4 open desks... I'm glad the 1st two years of service are included in the purchase price. Other than those two small annoyances, the 60 minute wait for them to rotate the tires was fine.

5 Stars for Salesman Louis Fouyolle. Louis was courteous and professional and he worked very hard. He took us on numerous test drives, offered a variety of possibilities without pressuring us into a decision, and continued to work hard for us even after the dealership had our money. He is a gentleman and made the experience a pleasant and friendly transaction while also working with us to get a great deal. If you want to be treated with respect, patience, and professionalism I can not say enough praise about Louis Fouyolle. I would definitely go out of my way to call in advance, speak with him, and make sure he will be your salesman.
4 Stars for Prime Toyota of Boston. First, they do have some great deals, but not everything they will offer you is a great deal and not everything they advertise is necessarily available. This is after all a car dealership, so you have to educate yourself. They have a lot of employees and a large lot packed with cars. Many brand new cars have scratches and dings in them just from people being careless moving them around the lot. They should improve the traffic flow around the parking lot and train their people to be ultra cautious with the vehicles. No one wants their brand new vehicle to be scratched or dinged.
Louis followed through and had a dinged piece of aluminum trim replaced and had a light scratch buffed out, but these problems should not be so common on brand new cars. We just bought a car here last night. First I worked online with Sasha, their internet salesperson, who was great! Very polite and accommodating and who got us the info I needed to entice us to come in. Then we met with Larry Shaul face to face. He is a very bright guy (Master’s in engineering in his country of origin), who is very knowledgeable about all the systems in the cars. He does have a direct approach and can at times have strong opinions but I think that comes from his many years of life and sales experience. Most important to us was that he listened to our needs and was ethical, fair and very helpful. If you are lucky enough to get him, I think you will find when it comes right down to it he will work with and for you.
UPDATE: Just had my first tune up (free) and the service consultant, Joe Walsh, got in in an out in no time. He saw me waiting behind one other customer and immediately took care of me. He was incredibly helpful answering my multiple questions AND going out of he way to giving me rebate information. Just a class act and genuinely nice guy. Although I live in Norwood and could go to Boche, he is the reason I will continue to return here and recommend Prime.

I called the number that was texted to me and again no answer. I had to call the main line to get through. When I went to pick up the car they just handed me the paperwork and didn't say anything. Not impressed with the level of service. I was promised a call back, never happened. I had to call them twice as I needed my car by 4PM. Once the car was finally finished I was told "you're all set." My Toyota has almost 128,000 miles. Service Rep. Reed was pleasant and professional. The $25.00 oil change coupon expired 2/8/19 & Reed was able to accept this coupon. After the various recommendations were added the suggested cost was over $900. Get a 2nd opinion or order parts online is what I do for my older model car. Oil change was just over an hour.

It wasn’t the best deal but it was better than the four other Toyota dealerships I went to previously. The only thing that was a downpoint was they were a little disorganized. I had to go in a about five times after I made the deal because they forget to tell me about things to bring in, as it was my first Time leasing. As a business owner I know the importance of customer service, expedited service and honesty. I've dealt with a number of sales people. Tomas Sanchez is by far the most knowledgable. It wouldn't surprise me if he's a manager at this place soon! All I have to do is call him and give him the specs of what I want and he's on it! He calls to follow up and just to say hello even after the deal is made and I've had the car for several months. He has even seen me at the waiting area when I'm there for service and he takes the time to greet me with a smile and reminds me not to forget the free coffee and snacks and makes sure all is well with my vehicles! I doubt its because we are both BC Alumni. :)

I felt so respected and they really appreciate customers. I got a great deal with zero downpayment for 2018 Toyota Corolla and the same montlhy payment I was paying for my previous car, even though I leased car for 2 years only (sounds impossible, I know). We had bought our 2006 Sienna at another Prime dealership up in NH and a lifetime powertrain warranty was provided with the van. That dealership was bought by another group, so when we had an issue with the transmission that was supposed to be covered under warranty, we had a very difficult time getting answers up here about even whether the repair would be covered or where we had to bring it.
Honestly, the beginning of the process was frustrating. No one knew what was going on with our warranty situation and I had a hard time getting answers until it reached Prime Toyota of Boston, the nearest Prime Toyota dealership to us in Manchester NH. Grant, working with Malinda, took charge of our case, got us a rental until the warranty company figured it out, and got our van fixed and back to us.
Grant took a very stressful situation (1 car for a family coming into school season doesn't work when I work a good distance away from where the kids go to school) and was able to put us at ease and get us back on the road. I hope we don't have any more issues with our van before we trade it in for a new one, but if we do we have an advocate in Grant and we are so grateful to him. Thank you again!

Carlos did our loan and he was very welcoming, patient and worked on our APR until we were happy with final outcome. I drove home my new Toyota that same evening. I was told the documents would be “over night shipped” to my address. Doug the finance manager worked with us. He made the process easy, took his time to explain everything and did not try sell us any options we did not want or need. He also let us stop by the next day with the down payment after finalizing the deal.
We picked up the car today (day before Thanksgiving) and Alex had the car ready to go and explained to us how to use all the different features.
In the end, we went to several dealerships (including Boch) and decided to purchase at Prime Toyota because the team treated us like people and did not play games. Great experience and I would recomand Prime Toyota to anyone, including my mom.

In all candor, I was never really impressed or happy with any of their service representatives. That is, until I met Joe Walsh. Joe’s demeanor and get-it-done (and quickly) attitude is second to none. I am more than completely satisfied with my excellent business relationship with Joe and trust him implicitly to take care of all my automotive service needs. I truly believe if Joe Walsh were ever to leave Prime Toyota, I would follow him to wherever he might end up regardless of the brand of car he would be servicing. Yes, he’s that good, trustworthy and reliable. He just gets it. That’s all you need to know.

It took a while for the insurance company to get their act together, and Randy was kind enough to drive the new car to my mother's house (which is somewhat close by) two days before Christmas instead of making her come back and wait. This place ... sigh. The service center is full of friendly helpful folks, the waiting room has comfy chairs, a big screen TV and free donuts. The mechanics seem fairly competent, but Prime Toyota charges top dollar for work you could have done elsewhere for half the price (or less). For example - burned out headlight? They wanted $59.99 per light. I bought the individual bulbs for $10 and changed them myself in about three minutes. Did I mention the free donuts?

I had just had a poor experience at a local ford dealership wherein I was very unhappy with the way I was pressured into closing. Carla, at Prime was quite considerate of my feelings and radiated a quiet confidence in her product. I actually did most of the selling, as I am sure the folks at Prime would like. I got a nice car, what I learned I was looking for, and enjoyed the experience.

This is my second vehicle from Prime Toyota in Dedham. I am always impressed with their customer service, fair market prices and their great facilities. As a single mother I take my child pretty much everywhere and having a facility that is children friendly with a snake bar is KEY! When I bring my car in for service or when I need to make a deal on a new car, I know that my child will be entertain, happy and safe while we wait. I also appreciate their respectful nature and not trying to be supercilious with me because I am a woman. They gave me more than fair price for my trade in and also had the lowest price on the vehicle that I wanted. I am very happy with my purchase and will come back soon for a third! Thank you Prime!
