Herb Chambers Honda of Boston was my last stop in my search for a new Honda HR-V. As an immigrant woman, purchasing for a new car can be a daunting and unpleasant experience. Fortunately, this was not the case at this dealership. The entire process could not have been easier. Nick Karam provided me with the best experience I could have asked for: he was honest and kind, negotiated with me according to the terms I was looking for, and ultimately went over and above to provide me with exactly what I needed. Thanks Nick and team for the great experience!
I had an issue with what ended up being an expensive repair. Both Victor and Susan were very kind about explaining why the repair had to happen as they had described and why the expense was necessary. Susan was great at going over all the options for me. Victor was great about having a sense of urgency and being very kind, friendly and professional while we were interacting. The first gentleman I encountered was a bit unsettling, but he was trying to get to the hospital for some reason so it was totally understandable and forgivable. I would just advise him, if I were his manager, to excuse yourself to the customer, and then go off the floor to talk to a manager calmly. I completely agree that he should’ve been allowed to leave right away and another person should have been called to come help me immediately. Unfortunately, the poor guy had to suffer a bit before he was finally allowed to leave. I’m definitely not criticizing his behavior because I know his emotions were running high based on whatever was going on in the hospital, but teaching him how to handle those tense situation‘s Is important in him growing as a sales professional. I know cause I’ve worked in sales and retail for many years over my career. I would say he should not be reprimanded, but offered a little constructive criticism.Thank you for your consideration.
Got my first new car from here a handful of years ago. Brought it back in recently to get something new. They gave me a fair trade in offer that the sales manager Alfredo was willing to increase for the sake of my concern. I worked with Giselle who was real transparent and professional, she was very patient making sure I understood all her answers to my questions. Mike in financing was very clear as to the specifics of how my loan situation would work and what length of loan would benefit me the most. Good experience.
I’m very grateful for Fabian and Alfredo they was more than helpful in getting me into a New car as I had unexpected issue with my car. Fantastic service. Had a flat that needed repair or replacement. Staff encouraged me to come in same day and checked to be sure they had replacements if necessary. Turned out just a repair and they arranged transport back to dealership when car was ready. I am also in the service industry and recognize staff who go above and beyond. LOVE Herb Chambers Honda service department!!!

Excellent customer service by Victor Lopez on Oct. 17th!! He was patient, kind and very courteous when my mother brought her car in for an oil change. It took a lot of time to answer all her questions but he made sure she was satisfied and was extremely well taken care of. Thank you!

Sean was very amazing not only with letting me know the realistic wait time for service but also letting me know how and what I needed to do to make sure my car was all set. Although I didn’t like the answer lol, he took his time to explain it not only to me but my pops so that we felt comfortable in understanding the issue and the solution and the cost. Sometimes it’s hard deliving news that you don’t want to hear but he did it with empathy and accuracy. So far I am enjoying my experience and plan to update/ write new review along the way. Had been looking for a couple of months for a new car. Just happen to stop in Honda of Boston. Val was excellent. Very informative not pushy and we loved the car. It was a very easy process thanks to Val!

The service person did a very good job keeping me posted and predicting a time frame for completion of my service. No complaints there. Service is expensive at Honda all the way around.
It is unfortunate that I "had" to replace a tire adding an unexpected expense. It is also an uncomfortable place to wait while service is being performed. The waiting area was cold and I, along with others, dragged chairs from outside seating into the sun. Too bad

Great day today bringing in our CRV for 19,000 mile check up. Originally, we stopped at the dealership to set up an appropriate day for checkup & time, but Nelson coordinated open time today to accommodate us and complete the checkup in one hour and one half while we waited! In addition, Nelson went above and beyond helping me ( a boomer with an IPhone) to add my phone # to the cars bluetooth and teach how to change a few system changes with the car locks! Such a nice and very patient fellow. ☺️
The Service associate I dealt with, Robert, made suggestions about service recommendations, then when I was concerned about the amount, pointed out the more important needs and what could legitimately wait until my next service in 4 months.

This was my first oil change done at this new Honda location. I used to go to the old location before they moved. The service agent was friendly and gave me some discount as I am loyal customer. One thing disappointed me was that they didn’t wash the car as they used to. Not sure if this is new policy.
Today I was able to get my car serviced under an hour. I had a scheduled appointment and I’m glad they made it a priority to honor that appointment and not keep me waiting too long.

Service was ok but didn't like the attitude of the front desk person who helped me. I have tire warranty from Zurich and person acted like surprised hearing name of it and even asked me the phone number of the company. I have been here multiple times and had no issue with warranty before.
Also they didn't perform car wash on my car this time after the service
They were quick and efficient! Victor explained to me the difference between tire rotation and wheel alignment. It was helpful and less stressful than other places.

We worked with Giselle to buy our used Honda HR-V and could not be more pleased with the quality of the vehicle and Giselle’s service. She looked after us the whole way through, gave us time and space to think about our options, and never pressured us to make a decision before we were ready. When we went to pick up the car, it was pristine: clean, shiny, even smelled nice thanks to Giselle kindly giving us an air freshener. She also threw in a black car pen to cover any scrapes we might get while driving in the city. We love our HR-V and hope to work with Giselle any time we need a vehicle in the future.

Victor has to be the most polite and professional person working here. I purchased my vehicle less than a year ago and was pretty sad to see things were wrong with my car after a hefty purchase like this. Victor gave me the best advice on how to start small, and work my way up to what needs to be done. If I was his boss I’d totally give him a raise because his overall customer service is what the world is missing today! We were at lease end on our 2017 Honda Accord Sport manual transmission. I w/out appointment popped into the dealership and meet w/ Brian Mccaffrey. While they did not have the car we wanted on the lot and needed to locate it, we did go through the EASY negotiation process. 2 weeks later, the car was at the dealership. We showed up, 90 minutes later we were driving off the lot with our new car - 2019 Honda Accord Sport 2.0 Manual. Total time at the dealership did not exceed 3 hours. SUPER EASY!

I always come to this Honda because this place always has great service and close by where I live. Today I brought my car in without an appointment and I was able to get my oil change, tires rotation, tires alignments, filter change and brake fluid change within 1.5 hours like promise. Victor is definitely one of the best advisor that I had so far at this location. He explained what kind of service I need and go over the price with me before my service so I know what to expect! After my car is done, he went over all the works that weren’t performed. Definitely recommend this place! A+

This was a very easy and nice experience and not at all what I was expecting. The experience and credit goes to Trevor, Tyler and Jose.I went in yesterday to look at a Honda Civic prepared but not sure I would actually purchase the car. I had a phone conversation the night before with Ahmed and about 45 minutes later Jose called to thank me for taking the time to come in the next day. I arrived and met Trevor Veerana. He was very easy to speak to and was not the high pressure I was expecting for my last horrific car buying experience. Trevor asked me all questions that were pertinent to see. I told him I wanted to see the Civic sport (thought that was the SI) he explained all the options. Then he took a look at what he had color wise etc. He took me to drive the SI which I loved , the drove a base model. I liked the SI and did not ask to see more although he offered. We looked at prices. I told him what I wanted and he came back with an offer. I asked then to see the base model price. The difference was something like 30-40 a month so I went with the SI. Trevor did not pressure me at all to make any type of decision. I think I was pressuring him more to move on it quicker. He was extremely knowledgeable and got things moving fast. Tyler the finance consultant was also great. We did not need much time he was direct to the point answered questions without any prodding for a decision or changes and got it all done promptly.After all the RMV and everything was done we had a brief conversation with Jose where I expressed my pleasure that the whole experience although long was relatively painless and nice. I recommend anyone looking at a car to consider Herb Chambers. If you are in the market for a Honda reach out to Trevor Veerana, Tyler or Jose. Really everyone person I spoke to at Herb Chambers was great but I highly recommend these 3.
This was one of the best Honda/service experiences I have had. Victor was super caring and responsive to all my concerns. He was able to get me in for an appointment the day after I called. He had initially told me that the car would be in service for 5 days and he was able to get it back to me 48 hours after I dropped it off. 10/10 would recommend!
Third visit. Great experience. Fast service. Came in for full service, oil change, tire rotation, filters, fluids, etc. Checked in and had everything taken care of and out the door in under 90 minutes. Robert and Sean took great care of me and my car. Will be back for next service and oil change.
This was my 2nd time taking my Honda to our local dealer to have it looked at. The first time was due to a recall notice for air bag switches. Each time the service request was handled with the utmost professionalism. It was a pleasure to meet Sean who could relate on a personal level to my Honda related issues having owned the same model.
Sean was very customer oriented. Very personable and immediately let you know you were in good hands. The dealership takes good care of their customers...even sweetening the experience by organizing a ride to take me back home and arranging a ride for my pick up day when the Honda was ready for pickup.

I went in to purchase my new car and I got the best customer service experience ever! I was created by my sales agent Giselle Gomez at the entrance and escorted into the dealership with top notch 100% service. The finance manager Dwayne was able to make my dream come true by making sure I was eligible to get the car I wanted. Had an issue with my sunroof that needed to be fixed quickly since we don't have a garage. They were able to not only take the car the next day but also find the fix without a set appointment. This was My first experience buying My own very first car! Michael was the Auto Sales Representative that assisted Me with the car buying process! Not only did he assist Me with making a great selection on the car, through knowledgeable comparison of rates & Financing vs. Leasing Pros/Cons. He also successfully made sure I left the lot with My New Car that day! Michael provided Me with such great Customer Service. As well as authentically assisting other customers in the process. They are amazing , kind, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Whether it be a minor repair, an oil change, a major repair (extremely rare as it’s a Honda) or routine service (following the matrix) , my car is always returned to me having been pampered, babied and purring.
To them your car is not just a car, it’s a best friend receiving the best quality care, and it starts as soon as you walk though the doors and are greeted by a Service Advisor.
In the 21 years of being a Honda owner, I think I’ve strayed from using Herb Chambers 4, maybe 5 times because of convenience and health. Each time even though I may have left happy,but there were missing factors namely confidence and reliability. There was one mechanic I did consider using a second time, but they were nasty when trying to set up an appointment that I just hung up.
Whether it be a 12 mile commute or a 100 mile commute ( yes I used to travel a distance to get to work ) Herb Chambers won’t disappoint ensuring you’ll leave with confidence, peace of mind and a great experience.
We bought a used car and CARFAX showed it has 2 recalls. I called the Service Department before finalizing the purchase and Susan was friendly, helpful and said of course Honda would honor the recalls, irrespective of the owner. I called back after the purchase to set up a drop-off time and Ian was just has helpful and friendly as Susan was. On the day I dropped off the car, I told Robert that we found a new issue with the seat belt in the rear seat. Robert said he'll check to see if it's under warranty and let me know if there's a cost to fix it. The only call I got was 5 hours later to say the repair, all of them, was done for $0. Understandably, the recalls should be free, but they took care of the seat belt as well. Just a super experience from beginning to end.

Nelson was great to work with and was a consummate professional. he got me checked in for my service appointment quickly and was very helpful and kind. The service ended up being a lot quicker than expected which was really appreciated.

Great experience, our costumer service advisor Dahl Jackson was top notch. He took the time to explain what would be performed on our routine service visit and was on the minute of when it would be done. He even noticed the car was dirty and gave us an compliantly car wash. He noticed that there was an outstanding service recall on the vehicle and made me aware, and again explained it. He offered to schedule it and was able to give me time fame for the repair. The people at the dealership were a very polite and nice as well. We have owned a Honda for 3 years now and this is was the best service experience a dealership has provided.

He arranged the tow and work.. it is now the 27th of February and our car was repaired and in our driveway on February 26th.. it was fast, efficient, and we received a call daily with updates...

So the truth is that I had some surprise expenses during my visit to this dealer. Which... fine, the car is 8 years old. Tom the GM is a class act. I bought my Honda Insight from here and anything I needed help with, he was extremely attentive. The whole dealership cares. You no longer feel like you’re dealing with the “car sales people of the world” when you’re going to this dealership. Pricing was great as well for the vehicle. I recently leased a new 2020 Honda CR-V from Herb Chambers Honda in Boston. First-time customer at this dealership. The negotiated deal was fair and painless. They did not try to lease me something I did not need and when I told them my budget the first price they gave me was already at that number. I was pleased. After I signed the lease, there was an issue getting me into the car in a reasonable amount of time due to a paperwork mishap. I was extremely frustrated, but the dealer and the general manager were very professional in coming up with a solution to the issue that got me in the car sooner than expected. Job well done by them. I would definitely recommend this dealer to anyone and I will be going back to them for my next car in a few years.
Sean was my service advisor. I went in to get my transmission fluid changed (~$130ish). Simultaneously, there was a drive shaft recall and so the alignment were done too. Whole thing took about 3-4 hours as estimated. Sean answered my questions and educated me regarding possible maintenances I may need later on (i.e. tire tractions interpretation and what an 8 means). I am very thankful for his patience and feel comfortable referring friends to him.
I called Sean a few days later as my car was pulling left. Within a week, he had me in and my car's alignments redone. Sean even called and checked on me after I got home to see if my alignments were any better. I'm pulling slightly right now, but Sean and I are to follow up in a few days as the problem may be something else.

It is located quite far south. The building is tiny and multiple people that work in there do not wear a mask or wear it on the mouth only (this is in the middle of COVID - omicron variant spread). Wifi was really bad during the first hour, but improved on the second hour. Car was not washed, which is part of the "service" at Honda Cambridge and Burlington.

I had a problem with the fob for my 2019 Honda Civic. My service advisor, Victor, worked for at least an hour on my old fob to try and fix it so I would not have to buy another. Although that ended up being the case Victor was a star!!! He also arranged for the new fob to be programmed in a very reasonable amount of time. I could not have asked for better or friendlier service. Thank you so much Victor.
As a pessimist I was expecting the usual dealer experience.I bought a car from them a little over a week ago as of this review. The sale went smooth no issues staff was professional and friendly my salesman was John Feeney. I had a minor issue with the vehicle after the sale and brought it with up manger Chris Purcell. He listened to my complaint and worked with me to resolve the issue and was up front and honest with me. Also I would like to mention every employee I dealt with was genuinely helpful and friendly from the valet to the service dept.
First time getting serviced at this dealership and I was very impressed. Sean provided excellent customer service and was very thorough with what needed to be done on my car. I appreciated the extra time he spent giving me the breakdowns. Quick service and getting a complimentary free car wash at Neponset circle was a plus.
Another mechanic told me the grinding noise my HRV was making was a transmission problem and I needed to take it to the dealer to get the transmission replaced. So, I brought the car back to Herb Chambers where I bought it. I certainly won’t be taking it anywhere else again. Sean was puzzled to hear that someone thought there was something wrong with my car’s transmission when there was no error code, so he gave the car to Rick to inspect. Rick quickly found rocks from the gravel in my alley had gotten wedged between the transmission and the frame and fixing the noise was as simple as getting a screwdriver and pushing the rocks out. How a shop that promised a “full visual inspection” missed ROCKS in a transmission they swore needed replacing is beyond me. Since I was there anyway, Sean arranged to do 30,000 mile service I was due for. He went over every detail with me and didn’t charge for an oil change, as I had just done one recently, or removing the rocks. I really appreciate the personalized service and the attention to detail. I truly notice a difference in the car - it runs like new. I absolutely won’t be taking my car anywhere else.

I am very satisfied with my recent experience at this location. Since I bought my Honda Accord 3 years ago, every year I have different experiences when I did the maintenance. This year I had the best one. This location is very easy to find. The service center is clean and organized. Also, my service advisor Tony is very professional and helpful. I am so happy that service department has someone who are bilingual. He is so patient and friendly. Sometimes I didn't really understand the technical terms, he explained them to me in my language. The price that I got was reasonable. I referred this advisor and this location to my friends.

I recently purchased my new Honda at Herb Chambers Honda in Boston. I fully expected this to be one of the most unpleasant experiences that I would have to deal with in the last year. I was pleasantly surprised to find out how remarkably friendly and competent all of the members of the sales team were. Specifically, Chip and Audrey on the telephone were spectacular. However, when I arrived at the dealership, Brad, was beyond belief. He escorted me through the sales process seamlessly with total assurance and actually a great sense of humor. The general manager, Nick, was extremely gracious, and handed me off to other trusted members of his staff. The sales manager, Myles, was extremely competent, and professional. I then dealt with the finance manager, Tylor, who closed my deal and convinced me to purchase additional coverage options. When I left the dealership, I felt extremely happy with my purchase. I felt I was treated fairly, and actually felt a connection with the people I dealt with. I would fully recommend that anyone who is looking for a new vehicle work with any member of the above mentioned staff.
I had a great experience from start to finish at Herb Chambers Honda. The team was professional, honest and didn't try and pressure me into anything I wasn't comfortable with. I test drove several cars and found exactly what I wanted. I ended up leaving with the exact car I had hoped for the same day! I will definitely be purchasing all of my future cars from them.
My overall experience was good. The exception was when I checked out. I waited for my car to be serviced and received a phone call when it was done. When I went to the front the checkout person was waiting on someone else and saw me and rudely stated my car was not ready. I stated I just received a call it was and in fact it was parked outside then he told me to wait as he was too busy. I waited 5 minutes till he asked me my last name, got my paperwork, told me to sign, and take it over to the payment area. As an afterthought he gave me a coupon for a car wash. I am surprised by the dismissive attitude.

Joel, was a referral from a friend who also received exceptional service. The three year lease payment of my Honda Pilot Touring is $50 less than the five other dealers I contacted. I only had to visit the dealer twice and both visits were quick and easy. The paperwork was a breeze. The sales person MU was friendly, informed and very nice. The finance manager Brad Dixon was friendly, smart and we quickly made a positive relationship. The entire experience was my best vehicle purchase in my lifetime. Dropped off my car for a recall. Only 3 months since I purchased car at this dealer. Service valet attendant was very helpful. Service worker took information and asked if I needed to be dropped off. I told him I planned on staying and he told me that there was two recalls and it would probably be a couple of hours. I told him
I would just drop the car off and he states that he would try and have it worked on quickly and call wilt a update. He did call 2 hours later and told me that he had two technicians working in car and it would be ready within the hour. About 8 years ago I purchased a car from Herb Chambers Mini of Boston and had a great experience. In November 2019, I went to Herb Chambers Honda in Boston to lease a new car and was assisted by Mary Lopez who is fantastic. I recommend her to anyone looking for a new or used car. Mary is genuinely respectful and explains every part of the process with patience. It was the first dealership where someone took the time to go over things in detail with me and helped me choose the best option. After visiting other dealerships in the area, I will go to Herb Chambers from now on.

Yesterday my grand daughter and I visited this dealership. We were trying to find a pre-owned vehicle for her. She just graduated from Boston college and is planning a gap year as an intern in clinical medicine prior to medical school. She is a first-time car buyer on a very limited budget. We had the good fortune to meet your salesman, Travis Earle. Travis spent over an hour with us answering questions regarding the best type of car for my grand daughter, purchase options -- financing, leasing or cash up front. He gave her very sound advice about car selection - age, mileage, maintenance records - all factors to consider. He reviewed with her cars potentially available in the entire Herb Chambers system that would meet her low budget. On her behalf, he contacted another Herb Chamber dealership to check on a pre-owned vehicle of interest. As we were rushing to that other dealer, we heard that negotiation on that car had just started. I am 77 years old and over the years have dealt with many car dealers buying both pre-owned and new cars. Never have I had such a pleasant, informative, straight-talking encounter with a car salesperson. Travis was kind and patient with my grand daughter and took the time to explain the many factors involved in buying a car. He is an outstanding representative of the Herb Chambers organization.

I had the BEST experience! I did my research prior to going in and test driving a specific Buick Encore On a Sunday. My plan was to trade in my current Altima. My salesman was Travis. I let him know what I’m lookin for & what my budget is. He was very helpful and diligent accommodating my requests. He and another Co worker Dwayne made it happen for me. I was very satisfied with the trade in offer & the price of the new vehicle.so we proceeded. The first attempt didn’t sit well with me but they both assured me to give them time to try again on Monday morning (next day)So I did. I recently bought a car from here, actually I literally just drove my car off the lot & the first thing I felt I was obligated to do was to write a brief review on how awesome this location truly is. I recently traded in a vehicle for a 2018 Honda CRV Touring. My inquiry was via online and the online sales rep Jay was prompt and attentive to my interests. He set up for a time for me to come in and see and drive a vehicle, as well get mine appraised. I was introduced to Sam who was very personable and was able to fill me in about the car and dealership, while I waited for a sales rep to assist me. My sales rep Keith Banks was very knowledgeable and helpful. He took the time necessary to understand my wants and needs and was respectful of my time. I was offered water or ice cream many times by many working there. This dealership very much has a customer conscious staff. There was no pressure throughout the process. After the expected haggling on price for the new vehicle and my trade in, we agreed upon an equitable deal. I picked up the vehicle a bit less than a week later and was pleased with the hand off process and the time Keith, and Sam spent with me, as well as a visit from one of the managers ,Jose. All in all I would say it was a very good experience and I was pleased with the interactions of all involved. We can all improve and one area for improvement I suggest is on setting and maintaining customer expectations throughout the process. I was promised a specific exterior and interior color, however when I picked up the vehicle, it had a different interior color. Not the end of the world, as it was another color I was open to, but my suggestion would be to ensure the customer knows that type of change, before they come in to pick up the car to set proper expectations and to allow for a pleasing pickup experience. This is the second car I have purchased at this dealership, where this type of thing has happened. Again, not the end of the world, but an apparent area for improvement at the dealership. I would purchase from Herb Chambers Honda of Boston again, very much in part to the people I dealt with in this transaction. I'm very happy with my purchase and purchase experience.

I've been using their Honda service department for about 3 years and it's honestly the best service experience I've ever had! They have the nicest customer service reps (especially Susan M!) who genuinely care about making my car run well, and their schedule/availability can't be beat. And I always forget that they completely clean my car so it's totally spotless before giving it back to me each time. I used to be wary of going to the dealer, but I won't take my car anywhere else now.

I recently bought a Honda Accord at Herb Chambers Honda Boston and my experience was fantastic. Ask for Q who is a sales representative and he amazing!!!!!! He very professional, knowledgeable and works VERY HARD to much sure you are satisfied with the car you want. Q was fun to talk with, educated and respectful. If it weren't for Q, I wouldn't have bought my car. Often times car salesman can be aggressive to indicate one car is better than another car, which feels like they're forcing a decision on you. while not letting the customer decide for themselves what's best for them. Q did none of that. He listened to my needs and was very honest about features and so much more. This was my first experience buying a car on my own and I was very nervous at first. But Q made me very comfortable. Q wants to get to know his customer(s) and as a customer, you would want to get to know him as well. :) I strongly recommend Q from Herb Chambers Honda in Boston.

We had a great and easy experience buying our new used car from Herb Chambers of Boston. They had a variety of cars and prices to choose from and they're open until 9pm most nights. My husband and I looked online and decided to shop with Herb Chambers, the car fax is available to look at too. We printed out the ones we were interested in, I do recommend making an appointment since the cars are not all in one area.
Victor was our sales rep, this is our third car and he gave us the best service. We got our choices down to two, both were Honda Civics and they both had their upsides. One was more expensive than the other but Victor had good points to say about both cars and he didn't just try to push the more expensive one on us, which was nice that he wasn't pushy. We are very happy with the Honda Civic EX that we chose. What ever questions or requests I had Victor was able to answer and accommodate what we needed, he went above and beyond.
Victor was very respectful, patient, knowledgable, hard working, down to earth, relates to the customers needs and was accommodating. He's also a Patriots fan! Ask for Victor!

Dahl at the service center went above and beyond to help me with my vehicle. He came along with me for a test drive prior to the service tech looking at the vehicle. He followed up with me through out the time I had to wait for my vehicle to be fixed. He was very professional and helpful. I felt at ease which is usually not the norm for me when I have my car serviced at other dealerships.
I can not remember the name of the service tech that worked on my vehicle but he was amazing also.Anytime he needed to show me something he brought me back to the vehicle and we also went on a test drive to make sure he was best fixing the issue the way he knew how.

Overall it was a good experience. But be aware they will try to place hidden fees on you. Went in today with a coupon of $45 for a oil change and tire rotation walked out with a $84 bill. Don’t know the labor costs, ( which I assume that where it went to).

My experience here was unbelievable. I left a different major dealer due to lack of customer service. Never heard back from them. But here Bryan took great care of me. Now I’m not rich nor do I have A+ credit but I was treated like I was and did. I was called back every step of the way. Wil the business manager contacted me daily as to what he was doing and let me tell you it was worth the wait as they found the BEST deal. I’m not a leave a review person but service at this level... I had to report. I mean they registered the vehicle on site no 20hr rmv, helped with insurance options literally drove off all set! Thanks guys and gals. Even the head manager was at the door and we talked about my purchase, I mean top of the line service. And they don’t tell you bs just straight forward. Best experience ever!
I purchased my first vehicle at Herb Chambers Honda and I am 100% pleased with the transaction. I should've written this review much sooner but I've been too busy enjoying my new car. My first visit at Herb Chambers was much different then my experience at the other dealerships. Felix was very helpful. I felt like he was being honest with me and didn't feel pushy at all. Sam in finance did a great job answering any questions I had and took the time to explain things I should've asked.
The only issue that came up was a problem with the titling of my car. For a moment I thought the team at Herb Chambers was jerking me around because I waited a little longer than expected. I soon found outt that the issue was not in their control yet they went to great lengths to rectify the situation. Brian the manager was readily available anytime I had questions.

I recently bought my first new Honda there and they were nothing short of professional. They worked with me to get the car options I wanted in the price range I was looking for. My experience didn’t start off great. When I first arrived to Herb Chambers I was greeted by a valet guy that was pretty rude and disgruntled. Not the best way to start off my experience and greet a new customer. However, the rest of my experience went well. The service advisor was extremely nice and friendly. He thoroughly explained the results of the services I had done which was helpful because I don’t know much about cars in general. So long story short, this place needs nicer/ more accommodable valet employees that aren’t miserable about their jobs and willing to greet customers the proper way when they first arrive at the facility.
I bought my car at Herb Chambers Honda and had a good experience and when it came time to sell it also had a good experience. The Sales and Leasing Consultant Fabian Garcia arranged an estimate, followed up with me, and reminded me of the date I had planned to bring it in (two months later). Then took care of all the details. I was paid what I consider to be a fair price for the car. Fabian made it simple. When I had the car, I also took it there for service. I thought of it as a spa for cars, since my car got a free wash each time. Good, efficient, friendly staff. Decent prices. People respond to you. The sleaze factor of used car places is kept to a minimum. I highly recommend.

I've been to a few other places before this and unfortunately I wasn't impressed with the customer service, but this dealership was awesome. I was approached right away, and was able to explore all my options, and ultimately I was able to find my perfect car at a great price. Definitely need to give the sales consultant, Donald Jean-Charles and the manager (wasn't able to get his name) great praise since they dealt with me with patience and professionalism. My experience at Herb Chambers Service Department was great. Car was diagnosed and finished in one day despite the fact that a lot of work was needed. The service costs were high but to be honest, they all are. And, I'm willing to pay a little more when I feel as though customer service is important to the dealership. I definitely got this vibe at Herb Chambers. I will absolutely return. I've been to literally every dealership in the Greater Boston area in search of great service and Herb Chambers is at the top of this list.
Everyone was extremely nice and everyone offered an open friendly environment. The salesman Travis, that I worked with was very effective in listening to my needs and wants and making it happen. Everyone in Honda made sure that I left happy and truly satisfied with my decision. The shopping process was a breeze, I just said what I wanted and there it was. I am truly grateful for Honda!! From the time of my vehicle purchase I had encountered too many problems and that was from sales to service! HOWEVER, on the day I came for service I was finally blessed! I got Fred Fox as my service representative. He had no idea I was there the day before and had encountered yet another problem and spoken to management. But Mr. Frederick Fox III. was different in so many ways, respectful, courteous, kind, listened, thoughtful and just knew his job and service. He even took the time to go online and explained and showed me how the engine works. All this because I mentioned I didn't know how a specific button in my car works (related to torque?). Overall, Mr. Fox was just simply AMAZING! I got the feeling he was just genuine and confident in his position and knows his field. He should be selected to train/re-train his peers and new comers. I just want to make sure that five stars is actually for the sales person Victor Olivares. I bought a used Honda Civic from this place. Before I went Herb Chambers, I did some research and I went to couple other dealerships. I knew that I was going to pay little extra, but I think it worth it. You do not have to worry about going mechanic next day. I told Victor exactly what I need the car for and my budget. He was very professional and honest. He did not tried to push any sales or the cars he wants to sell. He definitely made the process much easier. He showed me my options and I chose the one that worked best for me. After picked up my car, he called me if I liked the car or have any concerns, he personally take care of some of the concerns I had about the car. The only negative things I will say about this place, it is the finance department and 300$ preparation fee for the paper work. I was not told about this fee until I noticed it. The finance department will try very hard to sell you extra warranties and other extras, if your are financing, they are getting the money from your finance company, you might get some of these extras from a third party without paying the interest you would pay to the finance company because they take whole amount upfront and added to your monthly payment. Over all, I am happy about my purchase and Thank you Victor for the help and your honesty!
Friendly service by Tran. Quickly fixed recall/software issue ahead of schedule and was able to do an oil change for me last minute. Very reasonable. Gave me a voucher for a car wash. All In all, exceeded expectations. First visit was a success. Will be back.

This was my first experience with a brand new car and I went in expecting the worst. I wasn't pressured by anyone about anything, and as soon as I needed to actually get help Taylor saw me wandering around the showroom looking lost and took it from there. He helped me get what I wanted, he didn't try to push anything on me, and he was both casual and professional. It felt like talking to a regular dude, no larger than life rockstar salesman vibe like I see a lot in my own professional life. He provided a level of service and help that I was genuinely shocked by, and when it came down to the numbers it felt like he was fighting for me, not for the company. He helped me get the best for what I could afford and respected both me and my needs. He delivered his personable relatable level of professionalism up until the moment I drove away today. I wasn't some massive sale, I'm just a guy leasing a Civic, and he treated the whole process the way I imagine you get treated when you're paying cash for a fully optioned Porsche. I don't usually leave reviews but this really was outstanding. Stellar guy, super knowledgeable, and incredibly respectful. The rest of the staff I dealt with was excellent as well - Russell, the business manager was incredibly inviting and right to the point. Again, didn't push anything on me, just kept the ball rolling and like Taylor he just facilitated me getting what worked best for me. Spent the rest of the day running errands in the car everyone there helped me end up with and I couldn't be happier.
I have always dreaded going into car dealerships for the sole fact that I had never had a positive experience or relationship with any dealer/salesman I had met. However, that quickly changed within 2 days all because of one specific sales man. Trevor Veerana made me feel welcome and showed me how a true car buying experience should be. Herb Chambers in Boston/Dorcchester is absolutely amazing. This will be long winded! My first point of contact was Fabian (sorry if I misspelled!) via email. Even through an email he seemed personable. I took a ride down to check out a 2018 Accord Sport that they had and Fabian introduced me to Brian, the salesman. I was expecting the typical car dealership procedure, but we had a great 20 minute conversation about every day subjects. At this point I was thinking to myself...well this is different and refreshing!
Brian took me out for a test drive and I loved the car. We went back in and glossed over some numbers. The first offer was a bit much for me, so Brian worked some magic and brought the finance guy in. I forgot his name, but we were able to work out a deal that I was comfortable with. I would like to mention that I did not get to the dealership until 6PM and they close at 8PM. It ended up being past 8PM after the initial paper work and deal was agreed upon, but the business manager, Dewayne was still working some numbers with the credit application.
I was in Brian's office waiting for the final contract and in comes Brian with some pizza. He gave me a few slices! I mean he didn't have to give me some of his dinner. He was there late because of me. This was a "seal the deal" gesture and I absolutely appreciated it. Thanks Brian! I made it into Dewaynes office and we finalized a deal. I had to come back with my cosigner a few days later to finish some paperwork but the biggest hurdles were behind us. I would like to commend Dewayne for his professionalism and work ethic.
Dewayne told me that he would work on getting me a better rate and deal over the next few days until I was able to come back down. I thought well I doubt that, but I've had a great experience so far, so OK. Guess what...he did find me a better deal and got me a longer warranty with no extra charges! I felt a little guilty for doubting him. This is not your Typical dealership.
I picked the vehicle up today and another plus for this dealership is this. If they see someone in the lot an employee immediately comes to greet you. Not a ,"Hey what are you thinking about buying?" , but a ,"Hi, how are you, come on in." kind of way. This was refreshing.
Every employee that I came across was helpful, respectful, professional, and welcoming. I cannot recommend any other dealership after going here. And to Brian and Dewayne. You guys were fantastic! Thanks for everything!

Victor was the best salesman that I ever had. Much Better than IRA Audi or BMW Peabody, they are absolutely terrible. I stopped and moved from brand to brand due to poor service. Those companies could learn a thing or two from Victor.
He took the time to explain the features of the vehicle and answered all of my questions and concerns. He went above and beyond and personally delivered what he promised.

I was recently in the market for a car. I knew what brand I wanted, but I was not sure who to get it from. However, I knew I did not want to go through a small dealership. Having done my research, Herb Chambers was the best. So, I went to them to purchase my first car. Finding a great company is one thing, but finding a great person (salesman) within that company is something else. I believe I got lucky with my salesman, Hudson. I felt he went beyond his obligations to make sure I was satisfied. Although, I did not get the exact car (2014-15 CR-V) I wanted due to my financial, but he made sure I got something that was almost as great (2012 Accord). Hudson also made sure I understood why he though it was best for me not to get the CR-V and to consider the Accord. I feel like most salesmen would have let me get the CR-V knowing I would have not been able to maintain it. Their attitude probably would be something like this: “sale it to him,” “make some money of him, and then the car is going to come back to us.” Not saying that would have been the case with another salesman. My friend told me a story when he bought his car through a small dealership, and it sounded that way. When he went to return it they gave him attitude.
Other than talking about the car, Hudson customer service was 10/10 MAX… Also, at that time I was looking for auto insurance, and he took time out of his schedule to bring me to an agency. After, he gave me a ride to work because my friend had to leave early for work. A few days later my car was ready, and I was not able to pick it up. He dropped it off to me at my job. Then, he came back again to drop off my spare tire.
On his day off, it was nighttime (roughly 10:30pm); I was having an issue with the car. I text him, not expecting any responds. 2 minutes later he calls me and assists me via phone.
From the beginning, he dealt with me as if we were friends, and removed any doubts from my head. I believe that is powerful; that is how customer service should be.

I never write reviews, but this experience deserves one. Prior to going to Herb Chambers, I had two back to back terrible experiences looking for a new car. Walking in, I was preparing for the worst and expecting to have to be on the defensive with whoever I ended up sitting down with. How wrong I was. I was fortunate enough to get Thomas as my sales person. He made the experience beyond enjoyable. Not once did I feel pressured to buy, and throughout the entire process he was more than happy to answer any questions that I had. He was friendly, professional, and beyond helpful. He even was thoughtful enough to have a decal made up for me that was on the car I traded in that had huge sentimental value. Pretty incredible. From start to finish my experience was a positive one, and I likely will only go to Herb Chambers from now on. If you end up going to Herb Chambers, ask for Thomas. You will not be disappointed. We visited Herb Chambers Honda to look at a used 2017 Ford F150 and met with Brian McCaffrey. If you are a person who hates the stereotypical shmoozing while you look at used cars, then look no further... Brian is AMAZING! He stood & chatted with me (not the truck buyer) out in the rain until all questions were answered, was friendly, personable & just a pleasure to chat with. Although we plan to check out other trucks elsewhere, Brian made sure we had everything we needed to make appropriate comparisons at other dealerships. Should the price change on the truck Brian, you're the first person we'll call!
Last week, I bought a new Civic through this dealership. I knew exactly what I wanted to get and how I wanted to pay for it, so that made things much simpler.
Overall, we had a great experience. Our sales rep was Keith Banks-Obanor. He was a great help and very pleasant to deal with - answered all the questions, took care of all the paperwork, even came in on the weekend the next day to finalize certain things. Oh, and I was always able to reach Keith by phone when I had any questions/concerns. I appreciated that a lot. Overall, it took about a week from the day we first came in until the day we had the car.
One strange thing was that overall we dealt with something like 5 people (sales reps, financial managers). It was a bit odd. Last time I bought a car the same person took care of everything. I found that a bit more personable than being bounced between different people.
Oh, and if you are like me who doesn't tolerate anything foreign being stuck to a brand new car, make sure you ask the dealership not to stick their logo on your car. Keith removed it in no time without a trace after I noticed it.
Again, overall, I'm satisfied with the service I got and I love my new car!
Excellent service, per usual. Despite being a very busy place, they have well defined, easy to follow processes that make you feel like you and your service request are in control at all times. Services was done flawlessly and the communication - before, during, & after - was flawless. It's never fun to have to get service done but the Herb Chambers Service team consistently does everything they can to make it as painless as possible.
What I enjoyed most about my experience was that the diagnostic was thorough and the shop printed a sheet that explained why each thing was important and color coded the issues (red, yellow, green) so that I could educate myself.. I left and my car was driving like new again. Despite the busyness of the place, the process was overall easy and the work got done pretty quickly the same day. I would encourage the staff to smile more, and not take their jobs too seriously. You can tell the staff is all under pressure, It was certainly an efficient process, but a little more warmth and genuine hospitality is an important part of customer service. Overall, I'll definitely be returning for service in the future. :)
I would like to commend salesperson Erik Moran for his professionalism, attentiveness & hospitable attitude. I came into the dealership today to have the oil changed in my Civic, and Erik immediately approached and asked if there was anything else that I needed. Well, one thing led to another, and I was able to upgrade my 2012 Civic to a 2015 Accord with little to no effort at all. With the help of the General Manager, the deal was completed quickly and efficiently. I was very happy with my experience, and will be sure to use this dealership in the future for service, leases or purchases. I have used this dealership in the past, and do not have anything negative to say about it. The appearance has always been neat and tidy, everyone is welcoming and nice, and they have always been true to their word. I look forward to many more Herb Chambers Honda experiences.

This is for the sales department and I can't speak for the other departments. We purchased a 2016 Honda Touring over Memorial Day Weekend and had an overall great experience. It was really crowded, as expected, but the appointment we had was kept right on time and they answered all the questions we had.
Our salesman, Patric Comerford, was awesome. I was in touch with numerous Honda salesman/people throughout MA and Patric was by far the easiest to work with and most responsive. He was very straight forward and helped us with every aspect of the buying process.
When we picked the car up he went through how everything worked and made sure we were completely happy with it before leaving. UPDATED: Between dropping my car off and picking up, maybe 30 minutes later, it seems like things had greatly improved in terms of service attentiveness. The speed alone impressed since, at the old location, oil changes were often taking an hour and a half to two hours. No complimentary car wash but I'll take the speed over that additional service. The staff today, when I came back to get my car, reminded me of why I started coming here regularly.
I liked this Herb Chambers when they were in Allston but their new location, which is actually closer to my home, lacks a service receptionist so it's kind of a free for all trying to get someone to process your service appointment and no one on staff seems to want to do the job of "we'll be right with you" person. I was offered a discount for the unnecessary wait which was appreciated. Will likely still keep coming here but I hope they can improve and I'll be happy to re-rate them at that time.

I came in on a Monday to look at a vehicle but when I got to the dealer the vehicle was sold over the weekend during the Memorial Day Sale. I was upset and was certain that I was not going to find anything and convinced myself it was a waste of a trip.
I spoke with Jose Yapul who was very helpful and patient. Although this was my first time ever financing a vehicle I had visited different dealers several times and never felt comfortable enough to buy.
This was by far the best experience ever. I’ve been a customer of Herb Chambers for about 6 years now. They helped me get into my first CR-V after the winter of 2015. This is my third lease with them and they never fail to honor customer loyalty. Today, I just wanted to start looking at new leases with a handful of payments of the current one left. It was the first time I walked into a location besides a grocery store where there was more than 15 people in the same building so with the pandemic you can imagine one would be a bit concerned. The whole time I was there they not only lived up to the usual expectations of taking care of their customers, but they also made me comfortable waiting safely while they prepared my new lease to drive off the lot today. I say it’s the little things that make a huge difference. It was a bit of a wait understandably, but Nermi Santos and Paul Watson made sure I was taken care of from providing beverages and a cell phone charger and checking in from time to time to making sure all my questions were answered. The icing on the cake was being able to ring their new bell upon the finalization of my transaction 🤗 Thank you for giving me more than enough reason to continue to staying with Herb Chambers of Boston after all these years!!
Bought my first car, a Honda Civic there last week. Sales consultant Keith and his assistant were extremely helpful throughout the process. After signing my original contract and leaving, I was unhappy with some of the finances, so I went back in the same day. Keith made sure I was taken care of and repeatedly checked on me while I was with finance the second time around. My second visit there I met with Tom in finances, he helped me find a better deal and was very pleasant to work with. They let me redo my original contract and made sure I left happy the second time around. In the end everything worked out great and I am very happy with my purchase.
After researching around for cars within my budget range, my girlfriend and I had found that buying a Honda Fit was the best Fit for my situation (the pun wrote itself it looks like).
While originally we had scheduled to see "Felicia" she was busy at the time and so we were directed by the manager instead to work with Kenny Pierre. This turned out to work wonderfully.
Kenny is both personable and incredibly helpful. After describing to him our situation he was able to work with us to find the best solutions and to even match comparable prices that we had found at competitors. Furthermore he was able to pull things together incredibly smoothly and fast (for instance we wanted to test drive the Fit: set up within the half hour. We wanted to have the car as soon as possible: Kenny personally picked it up the very same day).
While normally I associate car buying as a tedious process, Kenny made it anything but. Overall a great, smooth as possible process.
Definitely my first choice to return to the day I need to look into purchasing another vehicle.

We worked with Tommy Ayers who was very knowledgeable and professional. The first car we wanted had just sold and he and his manager found a very similar car. It was gorgeous! Tommy and his team delivered on their promises! I have only had the car for a few days but the compliments have been nonstop. The price was good for a used 2013 Honda Civic. Tommy was a great partner to us! Many kudos...also want to give a shout out to Mo our finance guy who was great to work with!
A/C compressor was malfunctioning and so I brought my car in on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. My service advisor Sean was upfront and warned me that due to the long weekend, there may be delays in repairs but that they could diagnose the problem. I agreed and was pleased to find out 3 hours later that they found the problem and had parts on hand to fix my car that day. I dropped off my car at 9 am and had it ready by 5pm so I was relieved I didn't have to wait any longer or bring my car back.

We had a great experience at Honda on Comm ave, they take good care of our cars! Especially want to mention Pat, Dana and Robert for the combination of these guys is a perfect sell! Pat helps us with purchases, Dana helps with the process being very simple and Robert always comes through for repairs/check ups! Great team and great leaders over there. My husband and I went to Herb Chambers Honda in Boston to look at a specific car we saw online. We were immediately greeted when we walked in and introduced to our salesman Victor. He walked us through the process and made it as simple as possible. You cant find another salesman as professional, honest and upfront as he is. Both Victor and everyone else we dealt with were so dedicated to make sure we had a great car buying experience. They even worked with us on our trade in value. So, after concluding the purchase of a used car for my father-in-law, I decided to write this review. We were looking for as current an Accord as we could afford, with low miles and best safety features. Happily, we found a 2014 listed online, and made an appointment to see it the following morning through email. There were minor blemishes, which they agreed to adjust at no charge. Finance was excellent, pointing out the various options—no pressure whatsoever. Ultimately, my father-in-law is very happy with the new vehicle, which is a big change up from their 17 year old Accord. There was another minor issue which we needed to have adjusted, and we had no problem making an appointment with the service bay. I called my father-in-law to check in to see how he made out, and he was very pleased; they run a very professional operation, he said. Fantastic! Mr. Surdis epitomizes excellent customer service.

Eric Paulson at Honda Herb Chambers in Boston, MA was phenomenal. We would consider ourselves somewhat very knowledgeable in terms of weighing pros and cons when obtaining a reliable car. My husband and I examined and did our research on the value of leasing a vehicle versus buying a low mile vehicle and which would of the two options would have the best value for our money. We researched most if not all the details and came to the dealership prepared to ask the tough questions. Normally most salesmen/women determine how much you know and then try to convince you according to what they feel will be suitable for themselves, but not Eric. P. He was knowledgeable and backed up his information with hard facts. He was super patient and generally a pleasure to do business with. He did not "B.S" his way into getting a sale but was genuinely working hard to ensure we get the best value of our money. He also went above and beyond by coming in on his days off and even on Sunday morning to ensure he was with us through out the transaction because we financed the car from an out-of-State bank and the transaction took a few more days than a regular in-state transaction. We were amazed at his ability to be very friendly while maintaining a level of professionalism. We would definitely recommend him to our friends and family.
Herb chambers is one of the best car dealerships we've been too. We went through a ton of dealerships that wouldn't help us because we had really bad credit that we're trying to build up from the many mistakes we made. First person we talked to was Paul he was amazing he knew a 100% that he could get us approved after being denied by almost every dealership we were a little skeptical of him but he never stopped proving to us that he had our back a 100% and would make this work for us!
We then put our faith in them a little more and talked to the general manager Tom Pasquarella who is one of the first managers I've ever met who cared about his customers and wanted to make sure that this worked out in our favor because we've been through so much trying to get approved. We had a terribly unreliable van that was falling apart and needed help ASAP. Jose Yapul recommended this car to us and first full day into this far and we love it. Tylor Shurick worked closely with Tom to make sure everything went smoothly called us that morning to tell us the amazing news of how we were accepted and could get our car today. I highly recommend this place to everyone if you want down to earth employees who want to help you and not make you feel terrible about your credit. They are there to help and definitely showed it! Had a phenomenal sales experience back in Feb 2013 and have had only positive experiences in the Service Dept ever since. I only get my car serviced at this dealership and they always offer me good deals and are happy to expedite my vehicle when I need them to. Susan runs a tight ship in the Service Dept and is also lucky to have awesome, awesome people working over there...Robert, Tereza and Alex are a few of the best!

We tried in our car and purchased brand new Honda from Herb Chambers. At first we found this place through our bank's car buying services, then the person reach out to me and we we made an appointment to see the car and for them to evaluate our old car for trade in. First disappointment was the that person called me a few times to make sure that I go and ask for her (even 3 minutes us getting there). However when we just there she did not show up, I had to wait for someone to help us. Then she came out saying oh Hi, here's the car and this guy will help you. I was annoyed at the beginning honestly, like what was the point that you made me wait for you.. But I am so glad that new guy who helped us was Paul! He is such a nice person, even the process got longer and both of us got frastruated for the delays due to holiday hours, Paul was always nice to us and tried his BEST to make things happen even if was passed time and understood our rush. It took us a few days to complete the process, but Paul was with us through the process and handles my 'annoying customerness' very nice and friendly (like he knew us for a long time). We worked with Dewayne during the financing paperwork, he is nice too, and was there even after 8pm to finish the paperwork up. There was this another lady who stayed after her work hours (2more hours) to wait for the document come from our insurance, she helped with our car plate/registration, I am sad I didn't meet her and say thank you, but I am very grateful. Because of her we could pick our car up before weekend! Only critisism I have about this Honda Herb Chambers, they are very unorganised. People who work there are sweet but when things don't get handled in a way it suppose to be, that unorganiseness delays the process sometimes. All in all, we had good experience and I am very happy Paul Watson was helping us and really wish he gets promotion!
I just signed my third lease with Honda. This was my second lease with Herb Chambers in Boston, however. My sales consultant, Keith Banks-Obanor, was very professional and, most importantly, flexible. I am on a very tight budget and Keith was understanding of this from the start. That being said, we were able to come up with a plan that I felt truly comfortable with and Keith went above and beyond to make this happen. I feel strongly that I got a really good, aggressive deal. Keith and his lovely assistant, Cathy, were both very personable and friendly. More than anything, this made my experience enjoyable. It was nice to be able to have a serious conversation regarding my financial needs while also being able to enjoy each other's company. I would definitely recommend this dealership to others and plan on going back there when my next lease is up.
Buying the Honda Accord was an easy experience. Hudson, the salesman was a pleasure to deal with and gave us a fair price without any hassle. We loved the car it drives like a high end vehicle and it is very reasonably priced. With more than 70% of the car parts made in the USA we know this purchase will be reliable and last us a long time. A great experience all around.
Upon arrival I was greeted promptly by Gerry in valet followed by Nick in service. My vehicle had a flat tire and because it's a run flat tire we had to get it ordered. Nick was able to get tire ordered and installed on my vehicle in under a hour time. My Advisor Nick was great!! at taking care of any questions or concerns that I had. I went in to take my car to have its yearly maintenance done. Even tho the wait was longer than what I went in thinking, he made sure to tell me at check in how long and apologized. I had a tough time with purchasing my vehicle between the missing title and the almost 2 months wait to receive my car, thought out the experience Steve Roach was professional and engaging. He was at times the only contact I had with the dealership. He has followed up with me several times since then and I appreciate it. While the car buying experience was a disaster Steve and Dana (manager) did their best to communicate the situation and rectify everything that they could.

I just leased my first car at Herb Chambers Honda in Boston (Honda Civic EX-L). The salesman, Hasan Reid, was exceptional. I have never leased before and he was so helpful and informative. He went out of his way to make sure all of my (many) questions were answered, and patiently rode around town with us while we test drove, pointing out several neat "Eco" features of the new Honda models. He also kept in touch after I left the dealership to keep me informed on exactly what was being processed and the time frame for delivery/pick-up. All-around a very positive experience, and it is clear that Herb Chambers salesmen are trained in the (lost) art of customer service. Well done!

I just leased my first car with this dealership and had the most incredible experience. The general manager, Kenny Giordano, is extremely attentive, polite, and helpful. We visited several Honda dealers in the Cambridge and Boston area and found the right fit with Herb Chambers Honda Boston. Our sales consultant, Gerson Ruiz, made the decision easy. Unlike many other consultants we met along the way, he made us feel comfortable as soon as we met him - he was extremely patient, friendly, and down-to-earth. We never felt like he was trying to juggle our time with another client's; when he was with us, his attention was focused solely on our concerns. After the sale, he continued to be responsive to our calls when it came to filling out insurance paperwork, arranging for delivery, and making sure the registration process was seamless. The finance department was also great in helping us navigate through specific requirements in locking down a recent student discount. We appreciate the dedication of the entire team and hope our future buying experiences will be as good as the one we had recently.
Mr. Dahl, is very professional, so the 5 stars. Is for him. He should be promoted to management. That kid knows his stuff. He handled multiple very irrate customers, de-escalating them and convincing them to have their cars serviced.
He genetates good business and keeps a cool head and explains complex car issues with great skill.
However, I do not understand why the dealer prices are so high and you offer no payment plan or escrow account for people to pay into, so they can afford your high prices. This makes things very difficult for me.
Nonetheless, I like the very little wait time for customer service and the other perks you provide.
I just completed my second purchase at Herb Chambers Honda in Boston and my experiences here continue to be excellent.
My first purchase was two years ago when I first moved to the state. I needed a good car for a good value quickly because my car would not pass Mass state inspection without a serious overhaul. They were able to walk me through every step of the process and everything went very smoothly.
Now that I have a new, better paying job, I came in for a new vehicle. I loved the Honda Fit I purchased from them two years ago and asked to see their new and used availability for the same car. I took home a 2012 Honda Fit the same day.
When I came in a few days later to finalize the paperwork, I was surprised that they asked how I liked the car. I said it was great and that I was very happy with it. They were happy to hear it but had an offer for me that I couldn't believe! They said they had anther Honda Fit, same color, 3 years newer, still under warranty, with fewer miles, and because I was a loyal customer, they could give it to me for less money than the one I had brought home.
Now that's service!
They did not have to present this offer to me. I was happy with the purchase and had signed the sale agreement. That they did shows me how much they value their customers.
I (of course) took home the 2015 Honda Fit and look forward to many happy driving years with it.

In a profession where I've dealt with a lot of slimy people who are trying to up-charge me as much as possible/treat condescendingly because I'm a younger female shopper, I found everyone at Herb Chambers lovely! Jose was completely honest about all the additional fees and total cost. Whereas other dealers quoted me one price then claimed thousands of dollars of additional fees, he was straightforward and honest about the cost of the car. He treated me as an equal even over the phone, and genuinely wanted to get me the best deal possible.
Over 15 years & 3 vehicles bought + regularly serviced there, Herb Chambers Honda is Excellent!! They provide proactive (not pushy) recommendations about maintenance and safety, as well as fair pricing, which we researched if needed. Customer Service is top notch! Technicians will help answer questions too. Highly recommend them...
