This was the 2nd vehicle I bought from Matt. He is upfront, honest, listens and really has the customer's best interest in mind. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to get into a new car because of how much negative equity I had in a car bought from another dealer. He first ran my credit and had an offer in 10 minutes. However, he thought I could get a better deal so he applied to 2 other credit unions. He worked with me to find a vehicle with all my picky-ness and was very patient. I got a newer car at a reasonable price and killer interest rate. I should've gone to him instead of the other dealer to begin with. Lesson learned! Thanks Matt!

My husband and I recently purchased a 2014 Jeep Compass from Matt and his team at Image Auto sales. We appreciated how straightforward the process was, there was no pushing or haggling from the sales team at all. The process was really hands off, which a lot of buyers would appreciate. I found that as we didn’t have much experience with used cars I was wanting a little more as far as explanations and negotiations than what we received, but the actual car has been great so far! He worked with us to get under our maximum monthly cost with the lender, which was really nice! We also really appreciate the extra perks like the 90 day warranty and the discounted services at their partner shop. I would recommend Matt and his team, just make sure that you are prepared to do a lot of the talking throughout the experience.

Same day, I came down to test drive and Ryan was very informative on what the vehicles history was and maintenance needed when they purchased the car. Test drive was easy and the car was great. This was a simple straight forward low-pressure experience. I wanted to use Carvana because I don't like salesmen, or people in general, but so many negative Carvana reviews scared me off. The guys there greeted my wife and I and asked if they could be helpful, then described the sections in their lot after we told them what we wanted. To my surprise, they then told us to look around at whatever and left us alone. We looked around a bit and tried a car, decided against it and then found this pristine 2006 Mustang. They let us test drive it and we told them we were interested. Financing was easy, they had a guy that made an application for us. I liked that during the closing he showed us the car's history and the invoices of what he fixed on it. I am super happy with my car and the interaction I had with Image. Full disclosure, I am going to get a $100 repair/service gift card for the time I took to write this review, but I don't think that is affecting me much since I like to mechanic and doubt I will even use it. If I buy another car in the future I will defiantly go back to Image, maybe I can use it then.

Absolutely seamless service! I normally buy from big box dealers and decided to purchase an Infinity G37s as my old one was totaled. Called Matt and he had it ready in pristine shape! Great experience! The environment is very laid back but these guys are serious about customer service. They make sure you are not only happy but driving away in something that isn’t falling apart. I had a great experience here. I worked with Ryan. He was awesome. Nobody was pushy or used any pressure tactics. The process was very laid-back. My experience in one word: AWESOME! Despite my credit being extremely challenged, they were eager to work with me. On top of that, the car I was interested in was mistakenly mispriced on KKB.com’s website by $1200. I mentioned it and they didn’t even argue it. My salesman Ryan said they’d honor that price no problem. My car wasn’t showing as having a 90-Day Warranty coming with it, but it did have one of their yellow 90-Day Warranty stickers on the window. They honored that too! I love my new car and I truly enjoyed the overall experience at Image Auto, with a special shout-out to Ryan Hawkes. The bottom line? Looked at an Acura MDX. overall it was is good shape and the customer service was good. It needed new tires. One of the front tires had a chunk missing out of the side wall. Asked the dealer to replace the tires and they would not. Side wall damage is dangerous. Suggested a shop that would put tires on for 600. Made an excuse that he could mark up the price if he put tires on it but then who would buy it. Well went to a different dealer and looked at another MDX. less miles new tires new brakes new front struts. So we bought it. It did cost more but it had 34000 less miles and it was the same year. By the time the tires were replaced and the transmission fluid was low and if that was low, then likely all fluids would have to be flushed and changed the MDX that needed tires would have been more expensive and much more inconvenient to spend the time taking care of it. 3 Stars because the guy working the lot was amazing.

After moving from FL my Mom was having a hell of a time finding a car. Inventory is low in the area, the condition of cars on most lots are substandard and she hates this whole process. For weeks we visited an endless array of car lots only to walk away disappointed. Then we came to Image Auto Sales. The name is evident on multiple levels, from the first impression when you drive onto the well stocked lot to the clean, antique and memorabilia laden reception room and office. Most important was the image exhibited by Ryan & Matt; a straight forward, no-nonsense approach. They did not banter on about frivolous aspects typical in the used car industry but stuck to the important issues and we respected that. We right away felt comfortable with them and had a rapport with them and I was relieved to see the change in my Mom that I had not seen after weeks of visiting other car dealers. The car that she bought was Hyundai Elantra that was low mileage, in excellent shape and was fairly priced. Even so, Ryan did come down a bit but not enough to satisfy my 82 year old Mom, who is frugal but she eventually realized that this was the car she wanted and she trusted these men and soon relented to the final price which surprised me because she would usually just walk away and move onto the next lot. I credit this decision to the comfort level she felt with these gentlemen and the respect she had for them as businessmen. Ryan reciprocated by reducing the price a little more. They include a nice policy of a $100 credit toward service or tinting, a 90 day dealer warranty and after the warranty the car can be serviced at an affiliated shop at a 40% discount of labor. They even let me ride one of their new electric assisted bicycles around the lot! Thank you Image Auto Sales for the relief it gave my Mom and the respect they earned from me through the whole process. I highly recommend this business.

First Of All Thing said this place was the cheapest priced in the Boise Area. My wife and I went shopping for a new used vehicle for the family. We are on a budget and didn't want to go over that amount. We went to every dealership in the area. Found a 2014 Mini Cooper S Countryman All4 sitting in the lot. Went on a Sunday so that we didn't feel obligated to buy from anyone. After seeing the vehicle we drove around more and to adjacent cities around but nothing compared to that Mini in price and all wheel drive with sport option. So on that Sunday night we left a message in regards to that vehicle. By the following morning I had received a email back from Matt @ the dealership. It included car history report and a message if interest to give them a call. My wife called them and they said to come by if we wanted to take vehicle for test drive. Once I was able to get off work we went down. Once we got there they took copy of drivers license and let me and wife leave without anyone with us. We drove around the block a couple of times and headed back. Once we got back we told them our limit and from there it was history. They didn't try to get every penny we had but asked us what we actually wanted to give as a down if any. Within a hour or two were driving on our way home with our New family car. Ryan Hawkes was awesome in helping us and Matt did the email to me, found a finance company that would work with us and walked us thru the whole process like we were family. If I am ever looking for another vehicle I am going to consider them my first option. Thank You again , Image Auto / Hawkes Motors!

I don't think that I can say enough about the fantastic experience that I had at Image Auto Sales. From the Moment I walked onto the lot to the time I drove away with my new Challenger was a pleasure. Matt was low pressure, quick to answer all of my questions, courteous and easy going the entire time. I left and came back 3 separate times before actually buying the car, each time I was greeted warmly and treated like an old friend. I came onto the lot pre-approved by my bank to for the car loan but Matt was able to work out financing for me at a Dramatically better interest rate with a different bank saving me thousands of dollars!! I drove off the lot with my dream car and it cost me LESS money than I had planned on. When does that ever happen? If you need a good car, (or your dream car) and you would like to know what good old fashioned customer service really feels like then head down to Image Auto Sales and talk to Matt and the crew. I guarantee you will walk away feeling like family! Thanks Guys!!!

I recently bought my new (to me) fully electric vehicle from Tom at Image Auto Sales on Fairview in Boise. I've rated 4/5 because I felt it would have been helpful to have been given more information about the vehicle itself prior to purchase. But Tom gave us plenty of freedom to do what we needed to do in order to educate ourselves enough to make the decision, without being too pushy. So far, the purchase seems to have been an excellent decision, the car seems in excellent condition and the price seems fair as well. I was grateful when he had no problem allowing us to purchase with only $500 down...whereas, at another dealership where we bought our last used vehicle, they were not so keen on such a low down payment. I would recommend Image Auto to anyone looking for an affordable used vehicle and might even return to see about replacing our truck sometime soon!

Stopped by to just look at a car that had caught my eye..... I of course ended up purchasing it! Answered a few questions and gave them the go ahead and BOOM... They had multiple options for financing. They stuck with it and got the terms as close as they could to fit my needs. Kept me in the loop the whole time while working with the various loan groups...it was a Saturday and they still called the groups and asked them to get the deal done. Very respectful....to the point of "wandering off" while you ask your wife if you can buy the car!!! LOL. I would recommend checking them out, especially if you want a no hassle, relaxed purchase.

Probably the BEST car buying experience I ever had! My wife was having an issue deciding what car she wanted. We had looked at BMW, Mercedes, Mazda, and Buick … sedans, convertibles, sports cars, basically everything but trucks. After 8 months & many hours of searching for a car after many horrifying experiences w/ dealers trying to sell me cars that had smoke coming out engines & back ends about to collapse on just a test drive, it was my last day of hope!! Thanks Matt and crew for a great buying experience for my 2013 Jeep Wrangler! I had been looking at Jeeps on and off for a while. I came across this Jeep and it was the right combination of price, mileage, and options. We came from out of town and making arrangements for a visit was very easy. Matt is very responsive to email or phone messages. Tim immediately greeted us while Matt was busy with another customer. He took us to see the vehicle and get us set for a test drive.The Jeep was as advertised in terms of condition (very good). We met with Matt for what was the fastest, least stressful, and frustration free car buying experience we’ve ever had. Matt clearly explained the process, offered a few options but wasn’t annoyed when we declined and didn’t push anything, like at past dealerships we’ve been to. Purchasing a vehicle from Image Auto Sales was a very enjoyable experience. We were in and out of there in less than an hour. Headlight went out on our way home. I turned around and went back and they immediately replaced the bulb without making me schedule an appointment. Their cars are clean and prices were very reasonable. However, the car we purchased cost us about $3k for many fixes within a few days of purchasing the car. They clearly don't inspect their vehicles before selling. They did help chip in some money to help fix it and didn't honor their warranty.

I had been looking for a bigger car for my family, specifically a dodge durango. I came across this one on craigslist and for the prince i figure it was either too good to be true or fake. I called them up and talked to matt, he informed me that it is indeed true and talked to me about all the things i was worried about trading in my current vehicle since i had a lease. A few days later i finally made it down to take a look and it was a great vehicle. I had my son with me but he gave me the key, i stuck my sons booster in the back and we took it for a spin. I was still wondering how he was selling it for so cheap there must be something wrong with it. Everything worked and it was loaded, even has a steering wheel heater. We took a look at everything i had to offer and trade in and in my head im thinking there is no way this is going to work since i still owed money on my trade. He gave me a decent trade value but still had to add on the rest of what i owe to this new car. even with a vehicle that's twice as expensive as my trade, he was able to get me the same monthly payment. so better loan, way better car and pretty much the same payment for something over twice as expensive. Ive never dealt with a smaller car place before because ive always thought they dont have enough to compete with the big boys. however when things like this happen, image will now be among the first places we look if we ever need a car again.

What a refreshing experience. As someone that does not know a lot about cars, I have had my fair share of poor experiences buying used cars in the past. That was definitely not the case here. If you are a first time buyer and afriad of going to a dealership because you are not sure what to expect or afraid you will regret your perchase. You can sleep well going through Image Auto. They are very transparent. Ask your questions. They will be able to show you, email or call you back with the answers you have. I bought a 2005 Dodge Durango in 2008 (still have), and a 2000 Ford Mustang GT 2011, had it till about amonth ago (major vehicle accident). Both vehicles were financed with not perfect credit. Interest rate was extreamly high, but was able to refinance after a year for a lower %. Their mechanics are really good and reliable. This will be the last place you will have to go until YOU want another vehicle.

There are A LOT of great things about Image Auto Sales. Matt was straightfoward and honest with me and had a respect for my time. (Compared to other dealerships I was dealing with in this area, this is a huge plus and I very much appreciate it.) I only put four stars for a few reasons: first, as a small dealership you may walk in and have to wait a bit for service: in my case, the first time I came in, I had to wait about 20 minutes. Second, the car I bought has a drivers side mirror that does not adjust exactly correctly for me. Part of that is my fault, as I did not notice it during my test drive, but it seems as if the car shop doesn't check for those sorts of problems in their checkup tests. On the whole, though, my experience was excellent and I highly recommend Image.

Got my used car there for a good price and Ryan spent lots of time going over my options with me and even gave me lots of helpful suggestions on boosting my credit when it came back it wasn't as stellar as I thought it was on credit karma. I needed to replace the timing belt (was old and I knew it needed replaced from the inspection I had done) and the water pump was leaking but I got $300 off the price of the car so that partially paid for that. Also need a tire balance for some vibration I'm feeling in the wheel but that's not too serious. My only complaint is it's been 30 days and I still haven't received my title in the mail and honestly that shouldn't have taken more than 14 days max for me to receive that so that's a bit annoying as I'm technically not legal to drive now until I can get that and get to the DMV to transfer my plates over. edit: Ryan got back to me with more information on how the title paperwork is processed, the wait time was still an added stress in the midst of moving states but I understand Covid has slowed down everything at the DMV

My wife left her reviews for the great service that we got. This is worth second review. I find that most of the time people only write reviews when they had something they perceived as negative happen. I feel it is important to let you know is that these guys are very fair. I don't have great credit thanks to some medical issues, and yet Dan was very gracious with me and helped me get a decent interest rate on a loan. A lot of smaller dealerships take advantage of people, and by cheap Action cars and cover up any imperfections. This truck what is a high Book value truck that he sold closer to Low Book. If you're looking for a good small hometown dealerships I would definitely recommend Image Auto Sales.

Car-wise is as per advertised, no major issues with the vehicle so far. Only downside is the previous owner did not pass on the admin key to remove the MyKey settings in the vehicle which is of no fault from the dealer.
