This has been the Hottest 2 weeks of the year and My AC was not preforming as it should with my 2000 Chevy Truck. Tried other repair places no luck getting service this week. Took a chance on Edwards I’ve been pleased before with their service. Sir we have an opening tomorrow at 8:00 , I jumped on it. Left it over night. By the end of the day they called with the problem, solution and cost. Pick it up the next day “ awe cold air”. Good customer from the 1st phone call till checkout. I like my Edwards Service.

Sheryl Frazier and Jonathan Short are excellent!! Sheryl made sure the service staff took extra precautions while inside my car because of my health issues & a previous bout with covid that lasted 3 weeks & was very hard on me. She is the best!! And after the servicing was completed, as an extra precaution Sheryl wiped down the inside of my car with Lysol. Tariqu listened to our desires in a car and helped us narrow our search down to a few choices. He was able to clearly explain the differences in features and prices different models. He was not pushy and did not try to sell us on features we were not interested in. He listened to us instead of trying to make a sale. When the paperwork time came, Matt was clearly well trained at his job. He explained every detail of the process and which documents I was signing. He was able to research and find which warranty details from a previous car could be applied to this purchase, helping us get the best deals possible. In addition we dropped off a car with Cheryl in the service department for repair. She has always been kind and so very efficient when we have needed maintenance. I went new this time 2022 TAHOE My salesman was great ... after 24 hours of having the car I noticed a scratch on my wheel and slit in my drivers side back tire ... Didn't purchase my vehicle at Edward's Chevy, but I still need to leave this review. Was doing a long distant purchase over the phone and John Short was more than helpful. Went as far as trying to locate me what I was looking for closer. What dealership would do this? I put a deposit down with him but before the vehicle arrived one in my town became available. I asked if I could back out and to my surprise John Short was happy for me that I was able to find one closer. He was so great to deal with. We were offered a low (but fair) value for our trade-in vehicle. When the original vehicle we considered was out of our price range, they found an excellent substitute for us in a used vehicle. We are VERY pleased with the substitute vehicle and with the deal we were offered and accepted. The only down side of our purchase was the inordinately long period of time it took to prepare the paperwork necessary to consummate the deal. Were it not for that delay, we would have given all 5-star ratings. Though other dealerships are more convenient to our home, we will continue to deal with Edwards Chevrolet for service needs and for other vehicles if we should trade again.

I have shopped here in the past and was ok. But this experience was different. I have a mediocre credit score. My sales rep was Guillermo Galindo. In my opinion I was shopping for something beyond my budget. Guillermo even after I told him my credit score treated me like a cash buyer. The biggest difference I saw is when I was signing the papers he was the first sales rep I ever saw that was in there. Sat there, never said a word but was there. Most things regarding the service were good. But then today my anti-theft tripped and since this was electrical service, I assume something that was done tripped something with my anti-theft system and now my car has to be towed back in for more maintenance. Will never purchase a Chevy vehicle again due to all the problems this 2015 Cruze has given me in the ~4 years I have owned it. Additionally the customer service rep I spoke too, to get this straightened out tried to extort me by saying they only help people with anti-theft issues remotely if you pay for a subscription. "That's a nice car you have there, be a shame if something happened to it." I am quite disillusioned with the entire process. Edit: After re-reading my review I want to make it clear the customer service rep I referred in the second paragraph was a Chevy corporate service rep not affiliated with Edwards directly. All the service associates I dealt with at Edwards were excellent and did everything they could to help resolve the issues.

At Edwards service department, my problem was solved and repaired without any questioning or deferment. We have also had my wife’s Yukon services here. Somehow, the advertised price always substantially increases every time I take my vehicle in for maintenance - this time from $69 to $89. Edwards Chevrolet definitely seems to be on the high end in terms of price, which makes it very hard to go back there again. Plus, I never consented to being bombarded with text messages simply because I gave them a phone number they could call when my vehicle was ready to pick up. Disappointing things like this is why car dealerships have such a negative stigma and bad stereotype.

He was straight up with us from the very beginning and worked very hard to get us at a price point we were comfortable with. I trust the way Edwards services their vehicles before putting them on the lot and was pleased with the patience they showed us. Jonathan really balanced well giving us space and time to think and discuss this purchase as a family without being pushy. He even let us take the truck home for the night to think it over which was very generous. The reason I gave a 4 star was because I wasn't a big fan of the sales manager Lance. Seemed to really be hard headed, micro managing, and unwilling to budge on anything like my car's trade in value or the Chevyman fee. I felt like Jonathan had to really fight for us to walk away with a truck. Also, you should know without a doubt going in that you'll have to pay $1200 for the Chevyman fee. That was slightly frustrating but I understand the dealership has to make their money somewhere and its definitely in this add on. Overall, we really liked working with Jonathan "Sasquatch" Short and will be back in the future!

The weather stripping around the windshield came off. Since it is the wrap around type of weather stripping, the only way to make it right was replace the windshield. I live 2 hours away, but figured I'd at least see if they could help some. They sure did! Monday, a glass company from where I live would be out to replace the windshield at the dealership's cost! For the most part we were satisfied. However, there were a few things that left me with a bad taste for this dealership. First of all, they were having a little drawing that started the Saturday before Labor Day, but was already set up that Friday. My husband and I started filling out cards and were told we'd have to come back and buy another car the next day to enter. Now we had just spent over $30,000 there and were treated like thieves! My goodness, he could have said, 'Take a flag' or 'Take A Starbucks card' just to show they appreciated our business a little. It almost made me want to tell him to keep the car and we'd take our business elsewhere. I just thought that was tacky and extremely unprofessional! However, the thing that got us the most occurred when we went to buy our tag and discovered we had not paid all the taxes due on the car and had to pay over $500 for the car tag. When my husband called the dealership, he was told they don't know the amount that cities in the area charge so they just charge a State and county tax. I guess we were just stupid to think they would inform us that the $600+ we paid in taxes was about half. Again, had we known that, we would have gone either to their dealership in the county we live in or to someone else entirely. Our salesman was knowledgeable and nice but once we went in to sign papers I think he was done with us. We feel very under appreciated and will not buy our next car at that location.

My experience at Edwards Chevrolet on 280 was awesome! It's been really hard to find 2022 SUVs on the lot, so I had to order my vehicle. I was initially shopping for a 2022 Ford Expedition as I was upgrading from a 2017 Expedition, but the wait time was 4-5 months. I had been eyeing the Tahoe, so I decided to begin shopping for a Chevy instead. I owned a Tahoe before and fell in love with the dual thermostats. Much to my surprise, the wait time on a Chevy order is 2 weeks...not 4-5 months! My new vehicle arrived a week before Christmas and I'm more than happy! James Hurt, my sales manager, ensured that all of my needs were met and he consistently kept me updated on the progress of my vehicle. And as for Matt Lamb, no one does finance like Matt does Finance. Their APRs were better than my bank's APR. Where do I start? I'm retired Military and a former law enforcement officer, so lets just say I don't mind a good fight when seeking the best deal on my vehicle purchases. I also believe in great customer service. When it came to Edwards Chevrolet pricing and it's staff's professionalism and service; I have never received a better deal or been treated so good. This company as been open since 1916 and under the same family. That is over a 100 years! Wow! and it's not surprising as to the why. My Product Specialist Tariq Ali provided me with excellent service. He knew his product and didn't try to sell me a vehicle. Instead, he helped me chose the right vehicle for me and my family. When it came to presenting me with all the numbers, they didn't try to pull any slick price hikes on me or over charge in dealer fees. The numbers were easy to read and understand. We are nothing short of EXTREMELY pleased with our purchase experience at Edwards Chevrolet-280! I have been working the deal with Jonathan Short over the phone because we live over an hour away from the lot. We still had to test drive and see the truck in person. When we arrived Saturday morning, business was in full swing! The truck we were interested in, a 2008 Ford F-150 4X4, had already been test driven 2-3 times and we were a little nervous about losing out. Jonathan was in the middle of a deal with another couple so one of the managers asked if it was ok with us for Tariq Ali to step in for him and help us out. Worked with Brett in the service department when I took my Volt in for battery service. They kept it two days which wasn't bad considering they had to order the part. Brett was very professional and knew his stuff. Unlike the two or three other Chevy dealerships I drove past just to go to one on 280. Normally a first time buyer would dread going to any car lot looking for a new car. I had that same feeling until my grandmother and I were approached by a jolly young man named Danny Mayo. He was genuinely enthusiastic and extremely helpful. As a car salesman, of course Mr. Mayo wanted to make the sale, but you could tell that he also wanted us to have a positive experience at Edwards Chevrolet. We gave him a price range and a vague description of the kind of car we were looking for. He showed us everything on the lot that was within those margins. When I came across a 2014 Chevy Equinox, that was not in our price range, Danny noticed that I fancied the car. He told me all about the car, even though it was not in our range. He offered to find a used or an older model that I would be interested in. We took the information home and next thing we know, Danny gives us a call and says he has a few of the Exquinox that were in our price range. We went back to the lot and Danny gave us a grand tour of the car. He showed us every button, gadget, and function of the car. We were very impressed. So much so, that we purchased the car the very next day. Danny helped set up the On Star application, as well as the Blue Tooth phone function in the car. My wife and I recently purchased a used 2018 Chevrolet Suburban from this dealership. We were helped by Jonathan Short. He went out of his way to ensure that we had a pleasant experience. There were some minor imperfections in the paint of the vehicle and the running board was cracked. He arraigned for the vehicle's paint to be touched up and replaced the running board. It looks brand new! Everything he said he would do prior to the sale being final, he kept his word and made it happen. I usually do not go to a dealership for my oil changes after I have purchased a vehicle, but, I have continued to have them done at Edwards Chevrolet on Hwy 280 because I make an appt and I am in and out within 20 to 25 minutes and they rotate my tires! They are fantastic. They are like an organized pit crew!!
