Alex and the sales team are GREAT! I just bought a VW ID.4 from them and they made the experience so pleasant because I would rather slide, naked, down a razor blade into a bay of boiling turpentine than to go to a car dealership and buy a car. The car is great the staff is great and I couldn’t be happier!

Heard a lot of good things about this dealership. So I need a new key fob for my truck. Called yesterday and checked to make sure they had the fob. Made the appointment and was scheduled for today. Was told that it would only take in hour to due. I didn't get a key cut. I was at the business 15 mins before my appointment. It took 2 1/2 hours to program this key fob. Let's get better with the time it takes to get customer's in and out. Thank you for the service.

The sales associates are standard for the industry. It is a place to buy a specific car that you’re looking for. The associate who helped us buy our car was very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful, and he doesn’t fit the “car salesperson” stereotype. This was evident as a number of other stereotypical ones poked fun at him in front of customers like they were a bunch of meat-head high school jocks in a locker room. They were extremely unprofessional.
The service department is inconsistent. There are a few members who have also been very kind and helpful and a few more who obviously don’t want to be there. The problem is I get a new person every time I go. They do provide a ride home (and back to the dealer) since this is our only car; which is very helpful. But ultimately they all push extra services that aren’t covered (that I could easily do myself) for a premium charge.
The biggest reason we chose this dealership was the warranty and it’s the closest Hyundai dealership to our home. It’s as simple as that. Had we decided on a different brand of car, we would have gone somewhere else.
My daughter bought a beautiful car and the process was not as long as expected.
Team was extremely nice. Went in for an oil change and just a look over. Car is definitely more responsive now they even rinsed all the road debris off of the car so she can shine when we leave the lot. Thanks guys!

So i took my car to get service that is when i was met by a service representative by the name Jonathan. I would never forget the great service he provided me. To the point i still remember his name. He help with everything i needed even gave me pointers on what i might need in the future. He provided me more information than any other dealership i ever went to. Megan in the service department single changed my view of this dealership. I had a horrible experience with the greeter in the service department and then I was assigned to Megan and it was like going from hell to heaven. She exceeded my expectations and I wish everyone could experience the level of customer service I received.

Year after year, I come to this spot to get my VW maintained. The service staff are top notch, the facilities are comfortable for a wait. Leo's been tending to my car's needs for years. He's transparent, professional, and open to explaining what's due or can wait.
One of the nicer things is the media waiting room, which has a large screen and reclining seats while waiting for your car. It's a little worse for wear(controls don't work in some spots), but is still a quiet spot to work comfortably.

I really appreciate the dealership, location, service, and overall friendly experience. I got a good deal with me, and their finance department, Rod Talbert, got me in and out in under an hour. Very nice friendly environment! I just want to say thanks to all the mechanics and my service advisor Lionel they made Sure the problem with my car was fixed! I recommend this place and the waiting is clean and somebody walk around like every 30 mins to sanitize. I definitely will be coming here for all my repairs!
Usually they are very good but this time they dropped the ball. Was told that they had the parts to fix my car. The one key part they did not have is on back order and it is made in Germany. The other thing that didn't quite sit right with me was I was there from 9am till 4:30 pm but wasn't told until after noon that it would be ready around 4. The guy offered a car but I really didn't want to deal with PIB traffic going home and then coming back and going home again.
Overall I am a big fan of this dealer, in short they carry themselves well and are a pleasure to deal with.
The Positive:
Salesmen are not pushy at all, a stark contrast to the Toyota dealer across the street. Here at the Mazda dealer they will show you around and answer any questions you can come up with to the best of their ability.
The parts/service department is by far one of the best I have experienced. Ive managed on multiple occasions to go in and buy a part for my 1986 RX7, also had it serviced here a few times. The staff is knowledgeable on the old cars, and is able to provide excellent service because of that. Their excellence here must only elude to what they can do with a car made this millennium.
The Negative:
Parking is limited at best. There are only about 5(?) spaces out front for customers to park in. This is made worse by the fact that they are pretty tight spots that are hard to get in and out of.

I've always dreaded going to car dealerships and sales people. I just left Jim Ellis Audi in Marietta and I have to admit that Vince Fabre is amazing!! He was upfront and honest and worked to get me the best deal. I was so pleased with my decision to purchase from Jim Ellis today. This had to be the most relaxed and calm car buying experience that I have ever had. Vince and the staff made my experience feel effortless. I felt like I was meeting up with old friends. I would definitely recommend Vince Fabre and Jim Ellis to anyone in the market for a vehicle.
Felt no pressure and the staff was quick on their feet. The reason I didn't proceed to purchase here was that the model and combination I want is hard to find.

Car dealerships are not exactly the type of business I would ever recommend since they all play the same game. But I don’t have anything negative to say.
The easiest experience possible! I can't thank Jessica enough. This is the 2nd car we have purchased from Jim Ellis in 6 months.
The shop and waiting area are pretty nice. Cars and maintenance are too expensive. Prices compared to Europe are about 40% higher. Getting a free loaner does not compensate for that extra cost. Sales department is pretty pushy when they know that you want to buy a new car. Trade in prices are way too low as well. I understand that they need to make money but if you see how much they give for an old vehicle and what sell it for... they want to make a little too much profit on you. All and all a good service but everything else need to improve for customers!

I had the benefit of observing the Jim Ellis product review competition held October 27th. Courtland Howard from the Audi Atlanta store delivered the smoothest most convincing presentation of the contestants. As a client you will want to seek her out to feel engaged and part of the purchasing experience. Her dialog brought me along with her on a journey and her explanation highlighted points with amazing clarity.
Awesome experience buying a car here. The staff was great and you got to work for the your deal. But at least it was pleasant negotiating here not like other dealers. Ask for Chuck what a great guy.

The service here has always been good, but their wait time can be a little excessive even if you have an early morning appointment. Also, I’ve had two instances where my car has been serviced and then a short while later I have to have something else done. First time it was something they cleared as good. Second time they said it was same issue, but different location. Overall, they are ok.
Favorite car dealership. We got our cars from here and don’t plan on stopping. It’s the place to go when you need a car. Amazing service and they do try to help you as much as they can. So you can leave going him happy. All the times we visit, we thought we weren’t going to leave with a car but every time we visit. A car was added to the family.
The Jim Ellis Automotive Group is the most professional people in the Auto industry! I went to Thornton Hyundai and got the worst service ever matter fact they messed up my automatic transmission Park sensor! All the work that I had performed on my 2013 Hyundai Sonata 2.0 T was covered under factory extended warranty! Mike in service took care of me and I walked out of the dealer with a zero balance due. My car is right and I am one happy customer for life!
I've bought 3 cars here now. Have an 11 year relationship with sales and service here on the Hyundai lot as well as the Audi folks (though haven't purchased an Audi... yet). Certain that all of the Jim Ellis family of dealers are great. Highly recommend.

But nore important Jim Ellis and family are totally involved in all their dealerships and available to their customers!! A huge plus when you purchase a car!! Awesome service every time. I needed a battery for rhe key fob to my Camaro and it was almost closing time. I went to the parts department, asked for what I needed and they changed the battery for me without makingme feel rushed. I was asked to make sure it worked properly before taking my card out so I went back through the service bsy, through the lobby and to my car and it was perfect. The service department needs someone JUST to field calls and answer simple questions. The answering service should not be off sight and so far away from the service department. Stop using the excuse of "they're too busy" at the service department to answer the phone for simple questions, PLEASE? AND, return calls in a timely manner!!
Wonderful experience! I just went in to look at a car there, and Reggie Stagmaier was super professional, and not pushy at all. Spoke to the manager there as well, and he was just as friendly. I'd recommend these guys!
I've always gotten great service here. Whether it's for something basic like an oil change or something major. They keep you up to date with what's going on with your car via text which is nice.
The service team here is excellent. There work is great but the thing that sets them apart is the communication skills. I never felt like I was going to over pay for anything and they stayed in contact with me via text.

I dunno if I could ever give a dealership 5 stars, but Jim Ellis gives fair prices and friendly service.
The typical dealer tactics, such as negotiating payments over price still apply, but it never felt like they were swindling me.
I leased a Mazda 3 5-door from them in 2009 and was satisfied.
I returned just this past Saturday to buy a 2015 Mazda 3s GT 5-door with 41K miles. It was $16,700 before tax and extended warranties and the paint and body protection, all of which raised the price to $18,280. They offered 4.9% 72-month financing (~$23K if I take that long to pay it off), which wasn’t fantastic, but I intend to play it off in a few months, anyway. They kept insisting that it was better for them to do financing over all cash, even if I paid it all off the first payment. I think they get some kind of kick-back from their bank (Bank of America).
Again, I don’t think I got a steal, but a fair deal on a great car with a warranty that covers almost everything for 5 years—the scheduled maintenance alone should make it worth it in that time. I could have shopped around and found a better deal or a car with less mileage, but this was exactly the car I wanted within my budget.

Got my recall part replace on my car. Took a big longer than planned. Had my temp checked upon entering and everyone wore masks and maintained social distance. Everyone was very nice.
I allowed more time than needed because of Atlanta's awful traffic and arrived nearly 30 minutes early. I didn't have to wait for my appointment for the work to start. The work was completed without delay while I used the guest Wi-Fi to continue working on my job.
I took my car in to get a recall completed..... Not only did they fix the defect, they washed and vacuumed my car...... GREAT SER VICE and friendly people. I highly recommend.

Took my car in for service and ran into a little problem when I received my car. Things happen but it's how a dealership handles the issue is what matters. They promptly took responsibility for the issue, offered a rental car which I turned down because I have a spare but the response to the issue was outstanding and I was very pleased. Shout out to the service manager who was friendly and extremely helpful truly an asset to the service department.

Super clean lobby, friendly staff, and quick service. I was told it would be 1.5 hrs when I scheduled the appointment, but the work was finished in less than an hour.
As a driver this place is extremely difficult to deliver too. However the employees are super helpful

Have had positive experiences thus far using the collision center and vw service center. Only dislike was they estimated 2 hours for service + recall, ended up being closer to 5 and no courtesy car was offered.... Not the end of the world bc I had a friend pick me up and take me back.

We brought a car in for service, and discovered that some of the services were more expensive (60% more) than other places. The atmosphere however upholds an upscale get what you pay for vibe.
I just feel as though I should be able to get all the information from one counter. The service rep would say and point to the counter across the beautifully paved five star feel driveway and say "you have to ask them. I wanted to pick up his phone and call over to show him how upscale expensive service is done.

We were on vacation when the check engine light came on. What seemed like a disaster was made great by Jim Ellis crew. Thinking we would have to get a rental to get home then come back for the car, they were able to rush getting us fixed and back on the road.

Three stars because it was a good deal and my oil was indeed changed.
Downside was the wait. Took a couple hours. Went to make a cellular call 25 minutes after arrival and my phone connected to Bluetooth because my car was still running in the drop off area. Wi-Fi is spotty in the waiting area and not conducive to doing work from a laptop while waiting.
Staff is friendly and did move my car when I pointed out it had been sitting running for 25 minutes. Free car wash was decent.

Originally disappointed by poor service on my prior trip to consider buying ANOTHER Volkswagen. Waited for 15 minutes without a single person coming up to me yet I was walking around opening doors and looking at the window stickers.
I thought it was going to be a repeat, even though I had reached out via the Volkswagen website.
I went to the dealership looking for the person who sent me the email inviting me to come in.
After doing the same thing, I called the salesman from the email again one last time....No joy....
I was walking back to my car and planning to drive to mall of Georgia Volkswagen to see if my luck would change, but it already did.
Zoe came running outside to see if she could help. I related that I was looking for this salesman and she said she would find the right person.
I said, Nope, I'm going to work with you.
I intended to purchase a certified preowned Tiguan with low mileage and "as close to free as possible".
She found me a couple of options but I didn't have the time to test drive.
She took my information and said she would follow up.
Long and short of it, she patiently managed my expectations, answering questions and demonstrating different trim levels.
I wound up with a clear understanding of what I could and more importantly couldn't get from a used car at this time.
Yes, i bought a new car and feel like I have her to thank for it.

Zoe Ray ( pronouced with a hard E ) was awesome! Made me feel like she wasn't selling me a car but simply facilitating me buying a car. She even synked my phone with my "new to me" car before I left. She respected my request for a 'do not call' and got answers for all my questions. All of the employees were welcoming and went above and beyond to make me comfortable. I even had an odd request that they humored me through, Ryan ( I think ) back in the service department was a rock star. Highly recommend you check them out!

I was inquiring about a new GMC and had been to Hendrick GMC in Duluth previously. Unlike what I experienced at Hendrick, the guy I worked with at Jim Ellis knew his stuff about the vehicles, was very efficient and helpful, and didn't try to feed me a bunch of BS. The opposite of what I experienced at Hendrick. I ended up buying a car somewhere else but would go back to Jim Ellis again in the future.

Made a 4 hour trip to buy a Mazda Miata. We had a very nice salesman, Ed Johnson. We were treated well and made a very good deal. We are in love with our little treasure and hope to enjoy it for many years. I don't think you can go wrong dealing with this dealer and it was well worth our drive in a bad stormy day to Atlanta. Found the car on CarGurus and they honored the price advertised without any surprises. After looking for a couple months, I think we got the best deal available. I would certaintly deal with Jim Ellis again.
