I can’t say enough at how wonderful this dealership is. First of all, they actually have cars to choose from!!!That’s been hard in Anchorage this year. The most important part, my husband and I felt like family here. We had the honor of working with Danny and Richard throughout our car buying experience. They made what we thought would be a nerve racking experiencing into a fun filled time whenever we were here. They have taken such good care of us and I couldn’t be more happier with the car we were able to purchase from them! FYI: Even the finance gentleman was amazing. They work hard for you to make sure you have the perfect car at the perfect rate!

My salesman Ed was very kind, respectful, professional and expedient in all our dealings. The F&I person, Cody was also very professional and a pleasure to deal with. The only reservation I have towards the dealership as a whole, was that the sales floor was a bit chaotic. There was loud music playing and a few of the other salesman were shouting excessively and just behaving in a rowdy manner. It was a bit distracting at times as it made it difficult to verbally communicate with my salesman.

THE best experience I have ever had with car buying, hands down. This is the first dealership I have been to that actually has the best interest of the family in mind. I would have given 5 stars, however I can’t because of a lack of communication from the service tech. I brought my vehicle in for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation, which should’ve took roughly less than an hour, however it was two hours as they had to order a part and pick it up elsewhere in town but failed to inform me. Brian, the customer service guy was great to work with. He actually gave us a discount because of the lack of communication and how long we had to wait which was about two hours.

Alex was awesome. He got us the only new minivan in the Anchorage/Matanuska Susitna Valley area within 3 weeks. Every other dealer quoted a 6 month or more wait. Alex was very professional and kept us informed at all times during the process. Alex answered all our questions and educated us about the vehicle’s features.

Overall the service is great. Only suggestion is for the service department to try and call as soon as a customer’s vehicle is done. There’s been a few times I’ve had my car worked on and I didn’t know it was ready to be picked up until I called and was told “you’re good to pick up”. It’s inconvenient, but if I need my vehicle, then I have to reach out. Brian is a good guy though. 👍🏾

When one purchases a pre-owned vehicle, there are often unknowns that are not apparent until the vehicle is used for awhile. These folks are very responsive to that and take care of those discovered issues, especially safety issues. There is NONE of "You bought it, it's your problem now." 5-stars to Jaiden, also. Though he is young in the company and might not know all the answers, he knows who does and makes this happen. Also, the company has a large inventory of pre-owned vehicles. It has been a very good experience.

Richard and his manager of sales went above and beyond to find me a vehicle that not only fit my family needs, but was in my price range as well. Dylan in Finance was quick and efficient and spent the time necessary with me to ensure I understood everything within the contract I was signing. The service department was also phenomenal. There were some things that were missed in the original inspection of the vehicle and I was able to drop off the car the very next day to be looked over. At this point more parts were needed and there was going to be a wait for me to get my vehicle back so they put me in a rental car with a full tank and kept me updated on the progress daily. When my vehicle was completed, we were having a hard time arranging a time for me to be able to drop off the rental car and pick up my vehicle so without hesitation Lithia Kia sent someone to my house with my car and to pick up their rental. We had a great experience at Lithia Kia of Anchorage! Our Salesman John Colbry was very patient with all of our questions and showed us everything within our budget that met our needs. There wasn't a lot of pressure to buy and I never felt rushed. The finance guys answered all of our questions and we were able to work out affordable payments that included the extended warranty. Our car needed to be detailed and a few things looked at (a headlight replaced and whatnot). John did a great job keeping us informed on the status and the Service Manager didn't mind taking the time to explain everything that was done in layman's terms for me. Everyone was very pleasant and they took good care of us. We had looked at a couple dealerships but I'm glad we chose this one. We will use them again for the next vehicle!

Fantastic service in the Service Department! I dropped my car off for a scheduled oil change. I was told it would take about an hour when booking the appointment but when I got there, they had mentioned that they were backed up and it would be two hours. We purchased a new KIA Niro hybrid from Sara Jo at Kia in Anchorage. Sara was the reason we bought from Kia. We found two other cars at different dealerships that were comparable in features and price (+/- $300) but we choose the Kia Niro because of Sara’s outstanding effort to communicate with us multiple times by text and phone, to explicitly follow our instructions for providing a quote, and her continual effort to find the car we needed and make arrangements to meet us. We knew we had the right sales person when, on our first visit, she literally ran to get us keys for a test drive (there were other dealerships where they couldn’t find the keys!). Sara followed through with us every step of the way, adjusting with our research and accommodating our schedules. We looked at new cars for over 4 months and visited 9 different dealerships. Sara Jo was by far the most enthusiastic sales person we met who clearly demonstrated through action that she was there to serve us and would find the answer to any question we had. We will buy from her again and I am recommending her to my children and coworkers. In addition, this Kia dealership is a positive place. We stopped in and they had pizza and were dancing, laughing, and smiling. I noted their core values included “fun” and it was clear every time we stopped in, there was a positive spirit there. Sure they want to sell cars, but every customer, sales person, repair technician, and office worker was smiling, clearing enjoying working there. It takes a while to fill out all the paperwork when you are buying a new car, but at this Kia dealership we were laughing, listening to upbeat music, and passed the time in an atmosphere that demonstrated you can be working and still have fun – we enjoyed!

Never thought I’d own a KIA, but now, here I am. I went to several dealerships trying to trade my SUV in with three requirements (not caring if it’s new or used): AWD or 4x4, 7 seats and no minivans. Was a good experience. Live out if town , so found the car whilst looking online. Followed the directions for contacting dealership. My questions were answered immediately via phone call. I arranged for all paperwork to be ready upon arrival, inspection, and test drive. We didn't not have to wait long at all. All the above mentioned paperwork was described thoroughly as well as easy to understand. Just make sure the pictures of the interior of the specific vehicle you are considering are, in fact, pictures of said car and not just stock photos.

I was satisfied that the job was eventually done. They got their three stars for their willingness to help fix problems that may or may not have been their responsibility in the first place. They lost the two stars because of the hassle caused me by having to bring back my vehical since the job wasn't done the first time and also having lost all of the items in my car for close to a week. In all the service folks were great and the sales people helped where they could. I wouldn't recomend the body shop though. ( It may be a separate entity anyway, I'm not sure though)

A couple of days ago I bought a 2017 Kia Niro. My salesman was Jessie Pride. I live outside of Anchorage so had been in contact with phone and email. He had the cars, make and model, ready for me to drive. I loved the brown espresso fully loaded model with heated leather seat and blind spot warning, but it got sold when I left the dealership to test drive at another dealership. Jessie called and texted me to warn that somebody else was looking at the car. But I thought I should do my due diligence. Big mistake, "my car" was gone when I got back. I ended up buying a base model because the only other loaded model was white. Through out the entire adventure Jessie was knowledgeable, patience, energetic and fun to work with - we enjoyed his company. I felt he was sincere and went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with my car. I think we got a good car at a good price. It was important to me to get a hybrid and unfortunately the corporate people wherever they are would not send the Anchorage dealership more loaded hybrid Niros. They should really send Alaska more hybrids, Alaskans care about reducing our carbon footprint. So far, so good with the car I bought, fun to drive and I like the ride. I will definitely return to this dealership and hope I get to work with Jessie in the future. Eileen

I have been their customer since November 2012. While I started out really liking the experience when I took my car in for service it has become my least favorite experience. Over the years the Sales people, particularly their manager, have become the worst stereotype of aggressive sales shark. They used to have a shuttle service which was very handy to drop you off at work and pick you up, but the hours of availability dwindled until they stopped it altogether. I just found out today they call an Uber and pay for it, but they called one for me and gave out my personal information (name and phone number) without my consent. I really don't like them anymore to deal with, although the car services are excellent. I am tied to them because I have the oil change for life service paid for, but I don't recommend anything else. Nonmelennials beware, they just don't get privacy issues; your phone number and a name tied to it are as good as a social security number in the wrong hands. Just beware.

I bought a 2009 Mercedes-Benz E350 from Kia of Anchorage. Asonte did a good job as my sales person. The car was listed at $14,999. NADA value was $13,075. I offered the NADA price. Justin ignored my offer and ignored the fact that I was pre-approved from CU1 with a interest rate of 2.45. He came back and declined my offer and said it's a Mercedes, they are never selling at the NADA price because of their name. The car was being sold as is. Car had small dents, scratches, service was due and windshield needs to be replaced. I told him what was wrong with the car and I told him I'm not going to buy the car. He told me they got other people wanting to buy the car. I offered to take the car at asking price if they would service the car and replace the windshield. Justin agreed. Waited 30 min and Justin came back and told me he has to run my credit in order to finish the deal. I told him I'm already pre-approved the second time but he said he needed to run it so I said ok. After another hour, James comes and greet me and advised me it'll be 15 min before he can see me and get me out with the car. Asonte took the car to detail because all the car detailer left for the day. I finally went to see James and sat down with him. Started signing paperwork to realize that they ignored the fact that I was pre-approved for CU1. They got me approved with Alaska USA for $22,xxx at 4.9 interest rate. They included life time oil change, extended warranty and other things I didn't want which total to $22,xxx. I refused to sign and advised James that I made it very clear I was pre-approved at CU1 with a better rate. James walked out the room to go talk to Justin and came back and said he'll resubmit the seal to CU1 but we won't get anything until Monday. I was upset as my credit took another hit and they didn't listen. I refused the extended warranty and life time oil change and the other things they wanted to sell me. I signed the deal for just the car and what they owe me. I was able to take the car home. Monday comes and I called CU1 and they advised they never received any deal from KIA. So I advised CU1 that I'll bring what I got from James to them. I went to CU1 on my lunch and they told me they can't finance the car because the car is over it's NADA price. They will also need the dealers NADA sheet. I called and left James a VM about the two issues. I didn't get a response so I got a hold of Asonte and he advised he'll let James know. James called me back and advised me to go see him when I'm off. Went to go see James and he advised he got some good news. He's willing to sell the car at NADA value for me. I told him that's great and if that was the case I'll like to get the extended warranty. James added the extended warranty and helped reduce the cost on a few things. CU1 was able to finance the car and I'm happy. Overall James and Asonte was very helpful. I wasn't impressed by Justin because he ignored my offer, ignored that I was pre-approved and told me false information that Mercedes always sell above their NADA prices. Its been a week and I have not yet gotten a call from the service team to set up a schedule to replace the windshield and maintenance. I'll be calling them Monday to see what's the process is for what they owe me.

I was pleasantly surprised by KIA. The company has improved the quality of its vehicles tremendously in the last few years. Our 2005 KIA Sorrento (my husband had purchased it before we met) needed to be replaced and we were referred to Chris Mathis at Lithia KIA. I didn't really want another KIA, but couldn't ignore the price, so we decided to give them another chance. We had a great experience! Chris listened to what we needed - something smaller than the Sorrento with better gas mileage, but still big enough for our family. He pointed us to the Soul. My first impression was that it was too boxy, but after we took a test drive I was hooked. It is much roomier than it looked from the outside and gets great gas mileage: about 28 mpg in town and up to 34 mpg on the highway. It's smaller than the Sorrento, but still has enough room to fit our car seat, stroller, groceries, or small deliveries for work. Chris and the rest of the team at Lithia did a great job of getting us in and out as quickly as possible and were not aggressive or disrespectful as we negotiated price (my least favorite part of buying a car), interest rate, trade-in value, credit insurance, etc. We have already referred a few family members and friends who are looking for an affordable and reliable vehicle.

Lithia Kia got me a same day oil change after calling the service department. On the phone the recording said you had to make oil changes on line. Went to the web page and could not find any where to do that. But the biggest problem was I had a 2 pm appointment and got there about 10 minutes early and did not get out till 3:45. I had a very bad experience with the all types of vehicle salesman in town as well as banks. Either to much money or the banks don't think you can afford it. Even if your credit is good the bank don't care or even if you are a loyal customers to the banks for years. I was so upset and angry. Only two person try helping me was one bank representative for loans department was trying to help he approved one for $27,000.00 and back off, and I thank you Seth, you was a blessing and you will still be bless. I have never had so hard time getting a truck or any type of vehicle in my life. The bank's answers is always decline, decline, no matter what banks I went too. So I went on a fast along with a friend. On my way home to Fairbanks I dicide to see Jesse at Kia, but instead I was talking to David, another salesman I thought. He had this soft voice and asked if he can help me out! I said no! I'm just looking for Jesse to see what's going on with the banks and my application, that's been setting in there for over five to six days now. Will he walk me inside and said he will be right back no longer than one minute he was back, with a piece of paper. He asked me for my name and I said I already have a application in the office with the managers. He smile and continue to asked questions about me with a positive attitude and smile. So I looked at him and being to answer his questions, we werected done and he said he will be right back. Will, here comes David and Jesse smiling, Jesse said would you like to go for a ride, HUH! Gosh! HUH! What! Yeah, Ride? David wants you to see if you like this vehicle, either the Kia Sedona or Soul, so I pick Kia Sedona and it was getting late , that night I drove the Sedona back to where I was staying until morning. I had to call Dave Duckman to bring my car into Anchorage and asked him to help me out for the first time in my life. I never, ever, never asked anyone for help but I asked Dave and he did. He was quite a blessing and quit shock on why I wanted my car in Anchorage. I got blessed with not only one vehicle but two and now I have car called Nissan Altman . I traded my Dodge Ram for a package deal and walk out the door withtwo new vehicles. I want to give Jesse my salesman a great thank you for helping making this great blessing,. David I'm very extraordinary blessed to have meet you coming down the steps with that beautiful smile of yours and all the hard work you have put into this great deal. I have never seeing anything like this ever in my life when a group of teams work together to make a dream come true, for a lady that was broken in spirit and in heart. Again thank you David for help the Kia (Teams/ Mangers ) when they needed the most, had to say God had me their the right time . And too the rest of the Mangers of Kia what a team work you have done keep up the great work and may God continue to bless your bussiness , may he advance your life and much more asked you continue to put your faith in him. Asked long as you have faith in Jesus he will do the impossible for you. Don't forget to give Jesus all the glory because it was his doing not ours, he was wounded for our transgressions bruse for our inquities and by his stripes we are heal therefore no weapon form against us shall prosper. Gabe in sales...GREAT kid!!! Their detailing of used vehicles could use a wee bit of work. Dried soda on the back seats...visible dirt and grime on the interior. Pretty much just vacuumed it out and gave it a quick was and called it good. Drink holders in rear seats full of grime. Really need to pay some more attention to detail.

I have a 2013 Kia Sorento that I love! Perfect for winters, perfect for dip netting, perfect for driving and in town. Easy to clean inside and out. Love the storage space. I can fit my friends and their kids in my car. Car seats are easy to get in and out. I AM NOT A MOM and I can do it. I can camp in my car with a queen size air mattress. It’s safe, reliable, and I haven’t had any problems. I love music. The sound system is amazing. There are a lot of features to this car that make it worth the money. It’s the best car I have owned yet. My ex has a 2012 which he loves! We agree on our Kia’s. We have also owned Kia Soul which was a great car but when we were married we were thinking of a family and turned it in for the Kia Sorento. Ed Shoeman has been our man! The service department has taken good care of our cars. Most of the time they know me by name when I call and come in. I feel like I am part of the Kia family. Once I changed the voice command setting in my exhusbands car and to Swedish. I called Kia crying because I was trying to surprise my (ex) husband that day by filling up the gas. They told me to bring it in and fixed it free of charge. We once had our car taken out of another shop and towed to Kia’s service department. Being single women again I was concerned how I would be treated. Before I owned a Kia the service department at other places would talk to me like I was dumb. Kia treats me with the same respect they did when my ex-husband took care of our cars. That is important to me. The shuttle staff are nice and promote. I know that the Kia staff is there for me and my family. Big problems, little problems and all of my questions. They are welcoming and friendly. They do a great job on getting my needs met. I will always own a Kia.

I had an engine light come on. I took it in Saturday morn' just to see if it was an undriveable situation. No charge for that. It was driveable but needed diagnosing. I brought it in Tuesday to check out the Catalytic Converter. During the process of checking the warning light went off. Driving it for 4 miles they found no problem. It fixed. The charge of $130 for the diagnosis seemed a bit steep but whatever it was fixed and was way cheaper than new parts and the labor involved. Thanks.
