Representative Nathaniel was very honest throughout everything, and at no point did I feel like I was being taken advantage of, or subjected to unfair pricing. Cameron spent months keeping updated on cars coming in that I might want. He was very kind and never pushy with me to make a sale. When I finally did buy a car, the dealership was extremely busy so it was a long wait, but every member of the team checked in with me often and updated me throughout the process. Business experience was wonderful here. Purchased a used vehicle and really liked our sales rep. However, the car was not detailed. I’m not sure what they did to it in the back, but they surely didn’t clean it. The mats still had a sticky residue, the car didn’t even smell like cleaner. I’m pretty sure they only ran it through the car wash.
I know that we were the last car this employee had to clean prior to going home for the night, but the fact that there was a mysterious substance in the trunk mat and was not even touched left a bad taste in our mouth.

I purchased a vehicle here and had an ok experience. They try to get you the very least on the trade in value, but that's to be expected. I purchased before the pandemic, and would consider getting a vehicle there again, if it were not for the almost $6,000 markups they are placing on vehicles. I'm sorry, but no, I will not purchase something $6,000 over MSRP. I am taking my business elsewhere this time around.

Purchased our first Hyundai yesterday, a 2018 Tucson. Our salesman, Brennan, was very professional, listened carefully to our wants, explained the cars' features in detail, and stayed late to complete our sale. We managed to work our monthly payment to exactly what we expected. Blayke was our finance guy and he was very personable and professional as well. The car is going to be a great fit for our family and I was very impressed with the options for extending our warranty to 10 years/100,000 miles, with 2 free oil changes a year (for a modest add-on to our monthly payment). When we returned today for the detail (because we finished our transaction after-hours) and to get a quote for a second key fob, the detail was quick and the sales team even threw in the second fob for no charge! So far, I am super impressed with the customer service, the car, and the peace of mind with the warranty. Definitely recommend.

10 out of 10. Just go see Danny. I have gone to several dealerships and from the moment I stepped out of my car, the salesmen were relentless. I had an awful experience at a dealership down the street where they were following me as I viewed the inventory in the lot and proceeded to ask me 3 different times, in a matter of 20 minutes, if I needed help and i had barely viewed one row of vehicles. I declined each time and safe to say, I left and will never step foot in there again. Kia was different. I first spoke with Mark to schedule a test drive and to look for a trade in. Since Mark was very new on the floor and still training, he knew when to ask for help to get us started on the right foot. Danny happily stepped in to assist and later on take the lead in the transaction. He went to bat for us on our trade in value request and kept me in the loop on shipping since all the delays getting it to Alaska. The whole process was the smoothest I had experienced and I will absolutely send everyone to Danny. Also, I cannot forget Augie in finance. He really knew his stuff and got us in and out on our paperwork in about 30 minutes. Thanks the best experience I've had with any salesman and dealership.

Pleasantly serviced for sure by Travis Richardson! My husband and I went in to get a new “mom” car since our recent one is temporarily out of service. We had no idea what a high demand it is, let alone lucky to find a car in person to take home same day. This was our 3rd dealership in one morning. Travis met us at the door warm and welcoming. He also included me (as wife) in the conversations of mechanics as well, since it was going to mainly be driven by myself. Most still speak towards my husband for mechanical specifics. We told him exactly what we were looking for and he helped us find the perfect car without going down too many options. It was quick as possible and easy, Hyundai also has the best hands down car/powertrain care! The only thing we witnessed that wasn’t over and beyond, was as we were waiting to see the (also amazing) finance lead, we had to over hear a younger gentleman train an even younger new employee. Hearing his ways to not ever let anything be his fault as the dealer, kind of awkward and lack of awareness of buying customers around was not the best. He wasn’t our dealer but we were buying from the overall business so we shouldn’t be hearing their hacks. Overall experience was GREAT and customer service was awesome!

Fantastic service! My girlfriend was looking to sell her car since we are moving out of state. We got her a Kelley Blue Book Instant Cash Offer beforehand. The dealership offer was slightly lower than expected, but fair and well justified. The salesman we worked with, Eric, was upfront with us and answered all of our questions fully without beating around the bush. We left with a good understanding of our quote, the expiration date for the offer, and the next steps for turning in the vehicle. He gave us time to look at our other offers, but ultimately we went with Eric because of his friendliness and directness. With the sale finalized, we feel good about the decision!

Travis is polite, courteous and precessional.
Ultimately bought the vehicle, even though the original agreement was not being honored. Travis was transparent about it and the sales managers reasoning for the additional funds.
All in all, would work with Travis again, but will require agreement in writing prior to closing.

I get this massage saying to text another number and they will get back to me asap. I never get a call back. I have to schedule an appointment through there website and that’s not an issue. Read some reviews before I went, felt confident this was a good group of guys, and I was not disappointed. Purchased a used car, it was what I wanted, and it was right for our needs.
The purchasing process with Lee, the sales rep, and Layne, the finance rep, was smooth and I felt no pressure at all. The approach these guys take for car sales sets a new standard for putting the consumer first. Had I known this before hand, I would have purchased my previous vehicles from them.

I had originally made an appointment at a competing car dealer to look at another vehicle. Upon arrival to competitor, they did not have car ready, it was being detailed or something. I live in Wasilla so I felt like I wasted an hour drive. I checked out other dealers and saw Lithia Hyndai had a vehicle I wanted to look at. I called and spoke with Christian. He was extremely polite and professional. I wanted to look at a used Ford Taurus. It was a little more than I wanted to spend but I figured I would check it out. Upon arrival, I noticed the car pulled out front and was started. Christian greeted me and answered all of my questions. He was again polite and professional, not pushy at all. I drove the Ford and it looked and felt like a brand new car. I traded in my Toyota actually getting more than I paid for new in 2020(pre-rona days). With the trade in amount and exceptional customer service provided by Christian, I bought the car. Christian even set up the service appointment for the new Nokian studded tires and cold weather heaters for engine block, battery and oil pan. His exceptional service is the main reason I ended up buying the vehicle. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from a Lithia dealer. I plan on giving Lithia dealers years of business due to everybody’s exceptional customer service skills and professionalism. I have bought several vehicles from all over the country in my 25 years of driving. Christian is by far a standout, I foresee a great future ahead for him paying huge dividends to Lithia Hyndai. Buying a car from Lithia Hyundai was, by far, the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. I have, let’s just say, *challenged* credit =\. I was turned down at several dealerships, refused to work with at some, and approved at others, but with astronomical terms on old used cars that probably would’ve broken down within a year. I gave Lithia a call on a whim and spoke with James Fikes who was more than kind and helpful. I don’t know what magic he worked, but he got me approved for a 2018 Jeep Renegade with extremely low miles in no time at all. Nervous about making a decision on the spot, he let me leave the dealership to think about it without pressuring me to finish the deal. I received a nice email from him later that night and I decided to return the next day to finish the deal. Knowing James was off that day, I called and spoke with Edrik Sanchez, who was equally kind and helpful. All paperwork was completed that day, I received a great car with very reasonable terms and an amazing warranty, even given my credit issues. Edrik even picked my daughter and I up in the car from the rental car place after we dropped off the vehicle I had been using. They went above and beyond for me and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. When the time comes for me to upgrade to another vehicle, I will, without a doubt, be using Lithia Hyundai of Anchorage and I hope the three men I worked with that day are still there!

We were extremely impressed with the customer service, especially since we left from another dealership that lacked. Upon entering we were greeted and asked what we were looking for, and who we might have spoken with over the phone. Was escorted right to Jessica’s desk. She was very personable and prompt with the car faxes of the cars (Nissan Rouge) we were looking at. Upon looking over the car faxes we realize the cars were not for us. She immediately suggested a Hyundai Santa Fe. It was more than we were going to spend, however it had a lot of great features we couldn’t pass up. We were also impressed that she passed us to a more knowledgeable sales rep who deals with used cars more. We felt very taken care of. Down to the extremely rainy day, when Zack escorted us to the car with an umbrella. We didn’t feel pressure to make the purchase. That was important to me, is working with someone who had my interests in mind. Everything was wonderful until we got to the finance department. Working with Blayke was interesting. He made a lot of mistakes, needing to print off new paperwork and needed us to resign. Seemed like he didn’t know his job well. What mostly gave us a bad taste was the hard sell. Explaining the extended warranty packages was awkward and pushy. Like he sounded like a “used cars sales man”. We were not interested since we were already at our budget limit, even if it was a good deal. Asked him twice about not needing to up sell us. We left the dealership without the car because it was not detailed and there were rips on the back of the third row interior that was addressed in negotiations and finance that was going to be fixed. Left the car for two days and received a phone call that the car was ready. I was very disappointed to see that the car was not cleaned to the level of standard. The carpets were vacuumed but the upholstery was stained and dust everywhere. The manger we spoke to assured us that is not standard and encouraged us to come back to get those things addressed. Also the traveling interior mender would be available too. I am coming back in tomorrow to get these concerns addressed.

I called Lithia Hyundai about a used car I saw on their website. Jeremy answered the phone and told me the car had been sold. He asked what I was looking for, I told him and he promised to call if he found a vehicle like I wanted. Two days later, he texted and told me a vehicle like I wanted had just been traded in and he could send me pictures, which he did. (Unusual in my experience for a used car salesman to actually follow through with what he says.) My husband and I drove into town that evening to see the vehicle. We agreed on a reasonable price and the next day the car was inspected, minor maintenance & detailed cleaning done so I could drive it home. Logan was patient and very thorough in finance with all the paperwork. Jeremy was great through the whole process - even went through and explained how to work everything in the car. First used car I've ever bought that came with a 3,000 mile warranty! I LOVE this Santa Fe! I used to be a Subaru driver but I think I've been won over by Hyundai!

I had been looking for a car for my wife. I finally got tired of looking so when she and my daughter sat down and decided what the requirements for the perfect vehicle were they headed out to every dealership in South central Alaska. From the valley to south anchorage days went into weeks. Finally they happened onto the Lithia Hyundai dealer where they met Jessica. That evening my wife and daughter regaled me with the most awesome car shopping experience So the next day I went with them and sure enough met Jessica. Two hours later she and Logan (he referred to himself as the “finance guy”) had us in the vehicle and out the door. I’m over 60 and have bought and sold many vehicles. This was by far the fastest and most pleasant Car shopping/buying experience EVER!

I traded in my 2008 Accent and got a 2013 Tucson. I was very excited, but the longer I had it the more things I discovered wrong with it. Small things, but they caused my confidence to deteriorate.
There are numerous little scratches and several "dings" in the paint job (some of which are already rusting) and there are also a handful of little chips in the windshield. The controls on the steering wheel for the radio don't work properly; rather than adjusting volume, the volume control changes the station. The rear wiper blade FELL OFF my car the 2nd time I used it. I took it to the dealership and they refused to replace it. I hadn't even made my first car payment yet and something literally fell off the car. Then, I made an appointment for routine maintenance online. I got an email confirmation, and showed up for it. They were closed for the holiday and no one bothered to let me know, or to reschedule. All in all, I am fairly satisfied with my car but less-than-satisfied with this business's low level of professionalism, lack of courtesy, and inadequate customer service.

Estimated hour and a half for a tire change, was told it would be less they just wanna get a buffer for time, except it took about 2 hours. If you need a tire change, go to Alaska tire service, in and out in 30 minutes for $20 less.

I had a very good experience with the salesman, Blayke McCarthy. He was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle purchased. I traded my previous 2012 Sonata Hybrid that I bought new off the lot. I love the way these cars run, the 2017 is very smooth and a beautiful car. These cars do not get the gas mileage that is advertised on the sticker price in the window however. I can go two weeks without re-fueling though, not driving out of town. I hope you will look into the mileage problem. My previous car got way below the mileage it was supposed to get. I averaged 25 mpg almost all year, especially in fall to spring. Pretty good on the open road on a trip out of town - 35 - 43 mpg approx.

Oskar was amazing from the get go. He was genuine, he was not trying to persuade me to purchase the car, he answered the questions my family and I had to the best of his knowledge. He did not pressure us or made us feel as if we had to be extremely careful to not get tricked, we did not feel rushed. When I notified him about us canceling the appointment we had to negotiate a car, he said there was no problem and to let him know if there is anything he could do for us. He did not insist and he did not blow up my phone with calls/ questions. Went in just looking, got talked into getting a new car. The apr was really high at first( 18.59% ) came in the next day and talked to Thomas and he worked out a deal for me to lower it to 8.59%. Thomas was great. Blayke on the other hand........ When we worked out the deal he shoe horned in the extended warranty and the lifetime oil change. When I asked him about it( because I didn't want it) he stated that he had to include it into the deal to show that he made a profit on the plan. Instead of being honest and telling me how it actually worked.i am glad that they didn't give me much hassle on returning the warranty and oil change though so thank you for that.

bought a used Subaru from here a few weeks ago. paid more than book value because they hadn't listed it yet. not happy about that. when i went to pick up, it wasn't ready due to a mess up on their part mechanically. they got me a rental for a day (very nice), but rental company people were confused on deal. hadn't even made a payment yet when a belt came off the pulley on the front of the engine while driving down the road. fortunately, they had a 60 day warranty on the vehicle that covered the problem. this car is a problem already besides being overpriced, but at least the service department took care of the problem. hopefully, there will be no more problems. i had taken it to a specialty subaru shop right after buying it, and they didn't catch any problems. but they only had it for less than 20 minutes for a buyer's inspection. Overall, I'm pleased with the experience: from finding the vehicle online, to the test drive to signing the sales documents. All of the staff were pleasant. You will also find the customer waiting area stocked with Kaladi Bros coffee and a wide selection of coffee creamer flavors.

Was there for an oil change. Great service, in & out in less than an hour. The only negative thing was that when I pulled up to the Service Dept. There was no place to park, and when I went to leave a Tow Truck blocked me in and the driver would not move. Even though I saw him looking right at me. The good thing for Lithia Hyundai of Anchorage is that the tow truck is not one of theirs.

Sales experience was 5 star. If we could rate the finance office piece separately would be more of a 3 star. We were set up with USAA financing so as to make it faster and more efficient. Clearly told the young finance manager not interested in add ons such as warranty/oil changes etc and he really was pushy. So pushy my wife got pretty direct. I have previously purchased from Lithia actually this is my 3rd purchase. When I first went to Lithia for purchase the salesman was acting sleepy, uninterested, and had very little information on the vehicle I wanted. I ended up leaving. I came back and saw Blake who I used in my previous purchase, he was helpful and friendly and extremely informative.
My downfalls began after my purchase, I was promised a complete detail and I had to go twice for this to still not be accomplished. I was promised a fill up on gas, went twice this did not happen. My bank also has not received payment for my trade in and I'm looking at double loan payments because I don't want my credit tarnished. This was not my best experience at all, I don't think I'll go back when I purchase again.

My experience with Lithia Hyundai was good overall. The sales guy I talked to was Eric Godden and he did his best to get me in the car I wanted. He even helped me get the rental car I was in and left at the dealer to the rental company. The only thing I would improve was the car could have been cleaner (I've cleaned the windows twice since and there is still a film on the inside of them. In his defense it was a late night sale and the detail guys were gone. The car had not even been put out front to sell so he did his best to clean it himself.

I came to this dealership after visiting 2 others, neither of which seemed to care about what I was looking for and only wanted to sell me something I could barely afford. Leland Hansen met us just inside the door, listened to what I wanted and my price range, and took us for a walk around the lot. The first car he picked, which had been on the lot of three days and hadn’t even been detailed yet, was exactly what I was looking for at exactly my price range, a Mazda CX-9. Lee never tried to talk me into anything and was perfectly civil during negotiations. While waiting for it to get detailed, which took a little longer than planned due to windshield troubles, Lee kept me informed on what was happening and let me know the second it was ready. When I picked it up it was already waiting for me out front and everything was detailed and clean.
I would 10/10 recommend Lee Hansen at Lithia Hyundai of Anchorage if you’re in the market for a new or used car. After dealing with 2 other salesmen that didn’t care, he was very helpful and seemed to care.

I bought my 2015 Sonata from this dealership a year ago. The follow on service has been exceptional and far exceeds my preconceived notions on dealerships. Several months ago I had a flat tire that was repaired within 24 hours at no cost.
Earlier this June i pulled into the lot with another nearly flat tire, and decided to book the "Gold Detail" to prep my car for some visitors. The dealership arranged complementary transportation to and from the lot. They detailed the car and fixed the tire by the end of the work day.
My car had been cleaned so thoroughly that it blended in to the new cars on the lot. In fact the CD collection in the armrest was the only sign that the car was mine. After seeing an entire year of Alaskan grime disappear in a day I highly recommend getting your car detailed here.

I used to go to Chevy of South Anchorage, and I found the Lithia Hyundai service staff much more attentive and willing to listen and take notes about my vehicle. They asked the right questions and reset the oil change light, which Chevy didn't do once in the 2 years I got oil changes there. Hyundai's complimentary inspection was far more thorough.

Let me start off by saying that this car buying experience was by far the best customer caring service I have ever encountered at a dealership. Tracy Williams is my go to person. She’s unbelievably polite, never rushes you, ensures you absolutely want the car you want, and never tries or attempts to bully you into a car you would not like. I’m sorry other comments had bad experience but I did not. My cars motor went out for my 08 CTS, I had a repair bill pending and Hyundai worked with me by paying my repair bill ($996). Then they paid off my car loan for the car ($790). They took my CTS off my hands (had a shot motor). Afterwards I needed a reasonable priced car with a great warranty. The warranty for their vehicles are top notch. Better than Nissan, who tried to offer me a warranty for an extra $3k just to equal the same warranty Hyundai offers without paying extra $. I may miss my fully loaded 08 CTS but I can definitely get used to my 2018 Hyundai Sonata Sport, with Apple care play, and sunroof. Thank you Tracy Williams! I hope this review brings you more customers. This place is small but they do have some great customer service in every department.

Hit a major pothole that damaged my rim and tire on 3/6/2015 around 10 pm . Called for roadside assistance and they took care of everything. The warranties and benefits that come with this car are unmatched. Even though Lithia was closed, the 5 year roadside assistance that this car came with handled the storage, delivery of my vehicle and details of my problem to Lithia at no monetary cost to me. My car was repaired the following business day. Zeke provided me with a loaner vehicle while my car was under service at no additional cost. The staff was very responsive and cheerful and personal. I get the feeling that they genuinely care about their product and the concerns of their customers. In addition, I received status updates throughout the day which is important to me. I would definitely recommend Hyundai to anyone out their who cares about being treated like a person and not a number and a warranty that is unparalleled in the industry.

I dropped off my car in the morning, and received a call a couple hours later that it was completed. The service advisor called me once earlier to suggest an additional service that needed to be performed. They did the work promptly and at the price they had quoted.

I was in search of a car, and had a somewhat low budget of what I could afford. I wanted something dependable that would last. Originally we went up to look at another vehicle, being told that it was more than likely that we would be able to drive it off the lot at our price.
Well, it wasn't. Understandable considering the type of car and how long it'd been on the lot and all, but it was disappointing. We live in Kenai and had taken the long drive believing that - if the test drive went well, and I liked what I saw - I'd have it. Enter Jon, who was willing to basically do whatever it took to make the sale. Now, I know, that's what his job is, but he worked his butt off. I was not an "easy sale" as he tried at first to get me a vehicle below my budget. But after saying no to several "mom cars" (you know what I mean, the "well loved" vehicles with crayon on the seat, lots of miles, etc), Jon went back to financing to find me THE car.
And find it he did. I am now the proud owner of a 2011 Kia Sorrento. I went in thinking I'd never say yes to a Kia, but this is a great little vehicle. For its year it has low mileage and it definitely does not look like a mom car.
I cannot say enough good things about Jon as he went above and beyond the stereotypical car salesman - though I did have to laugh that after I said no to the original salesman we were working with they sent out the Bradley Cooper lookalike to try to get me to either go higher than my original budget or go for a different car. I was grumpy, sarcastic, and picky, but he never let on that I was one of those "problem customers" that I'm sure I was. He also has a good sense of humor, I'm a bit quirky and he didn't seem too weirded out by my off the wall comments.
Once we got to the financing end Tom was quick and extremely helpful in getting everything processed. He was good to answer any questions we had, and didn't push sales of things we didn't want or need - though he did give the pitch like he should - and was incredibly understanding. Jon and Tom make a great team and I'd recommend anyone go see them.
I've heard that in the past there were a lot of issues with this place, but it's apparently under new management and it looks like it's going in a positive direction. Though I don't plan to use them again soon - because I don't plan on needing a new car for a VERY long time - I am definitely telling family and friends about them.
So go see Bradley - I mean Jon - and get yourself set up with a win of a vehicle!

I have had two Hyundai's in the last 5 years and have been extremely satisfied. I haven't had to test the warranty process until this past month. My 2010 Santa Fe had been experiencing a small rattle in the suspension, but I thought it was just road conditions. However when taking it in, it was discovered it was the shocks leaked & lost compression, & both shocks needed replacement. It turned out it was 3 months beyond the 5 yr warranty period & I was on the hook. However I explained my extenuating circumstances to the service mgr, Chris Kemp, & he went to bat for me. With my low mileage condition, he was able to get Hyundai to extend the warranty to cover my expenses! Thank you Chris! Good to know there are fair auto dealers in this town!
