Rita was such a wonder person who help me find the perfect car. I was so picky with what car and what brand I wanted. For such long hours, Rita stick with me and took me to a different place to find my perfect car. Rita is so patient and she listen to what I like and didn't like about the car. She was able to help me find a car that was at my price range. She wants you to know what are the pro and cons then helps you decide on which car is best for you.

I was in the market for a better set of 4X4 wheels for the winter and James did not disappoint. James provided me with several Certified Preowned vehicle options to choose from. Once I made my selection, I was able to complete 90% of the transaction over the phone and online. We worked with Arn who was the best from start to finish. I was purchasing a car from the lower 48 for my God daughter in Seward. I had a 4 week window to find a car as my flight was already booked. Therefore, Arn was my eyes and I put all my trust in him. Big stipulation was a non smoker vehicle. The first vehicle (2018 Toyota Rav4) was beautiful in the pictures. The car had yet to be delivered to Kendall, upon its arrival Arn inspected the vehicle, called me and said "dont buy this car, it's bad for smoke and burn holes". Note: i was talking with about 4 other auto sales lots. A week or so later Arn let me know of a 2017 Rav4 XLE that was brought to them. This vehicle had been purchased at Kendall and routinely serviced at Kendall. PERFECT! I than worked with Sean Marshall and Arn for the finance side. Fast forward to purchase day. My flight was delayed, Arn kindly picked me and my son up at the airport 8:00PM! Pulling up to Kendall the Rav was on the sidewalk in showroom display style. It was beautiful and had a FULL tank of gas! Sean and Arn had also completed the registration so it had real license plates and a full year of registration! Note: i hadn't sent one penny to hold the car, they trusted me when I told them I was bringing a check. The situation was quite unique from start to finish and Kendall went above and beyond. If you work with Arn be prepared to smile (and laugh)because he has quite the personality. Drove to Seward the next day as my son and I took turns driving, not because we wanted a break from driving but because the car was SO FUN TO DRIVE! I 100 % recommend Kendall Toyota and Arn.

From the time I called to check the stock with Arn, till the time we was walked though the final checkout. I called the parts department 8 times in one week and every time they were busy. I left a message twice and SURPRISE they did not call back. Why is it so hard to spend money at a local Toyota dealership? I understand the importance of shopping locally and helping the community. But with this low level of customer service and response time, I’ll gladly pay extra for shipping and shop online. Please if you are planning to buy parts at Kendall Toyota do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time and money. They call me back and apologized for not responding. Very helpful and very nice. Purchased a 2023 Camry XSE AWD fully loaded from Arn Manipis. Arn was very professional, honest, kind and helpful during the buying process. He made sure to keep me updated through the months wait from the order I placed back in June. I originally requested for a 2022 Camry, instead he gave me something even better. Not only 2023 XSE but a fully teched out Camry with all packages installed. Arn was very enthusiastic and full of positive energy while sharing every detail of the car with me. After looking online we found a vehicle that was close to the top of the budget and contacted a salesman, Max, who was very professional and eager to get us into a vehicle. The Anchorage Kendall Toyota / Lexus service center is hands-down, the best! Our service representatives keep us on track for scheduled services by sending me a quick reminder text. When our car is getting maintenance or repair, we are provided ongoing updates and honest/transparent estimates (cost, time, etc.) At the end of service, our vehicles are washed and ready for us; paying is quick and easy. Exceptional professionalism and customer care. Highly recommend.

I'll start by saying I've taken in my car to Kendall once for service, and had a good experience. I'm pretty sure it took longer than expected and they still charged me for the original quoted work. Update: Previously I had written this as a poor review due to an experience with the parts department I had with being told a part was coming in that was not. However, the issue has been rectified with exactly what I wanted as the solution. I commend their parts department for making it right. Their manager reached out, understood my concern, and the issue was resolved. Couldn't ask for more. Will be doing business with them again!

Great service. Since I live 140 miles from Kendall and had to drive in winter conditions, I ended up arriving about 45 minutes early. The service department said "no problem come on in". They got right to me and finished my 20k service in about 40 minutes. Happy customer!

I was SHOCKED at the rise in prices/costs at Kendall Toyota. From last year 2021 to this year 2022, the oil change service alone has DOUBLED. My hope with Kendall Toyota increasing their service/labor prices, that the employees; such as the Service Advisors, and mechanics, see their salaries increase as well. Hopefully Kendall Toyota takes care of their employees who take care of the Kendall customers. I have an appointment scheduled for 11/25/22 to get my Toyota Tundra breaks changed with new rotors, with this significant rise in labor per hour and service costs/prices, I will be cancelling my appointment and be looking elsewhere to take my trucks in for service. About a month ago I started working with Frank Cruise to purchase a new vehicle with Kendall Toyota. After spending months looking in other places to find the right car in a challenging market, Frank made it easy for us. He was very responsive and consistently gave good advice (without pressure) about decisions we had to make, including about putting a deposit down on our future vehicle while it was in transit. He communicated well with us throughout the process and efficiently walked us thru the purchase paperwork and operation of the new vehicle. We completed the purchase almost a week ahead of schedule. Frank connected us with a gentleman in their finance department that walked us thru and got us scheduled for some additional options that we appreciated. Frank also connected us with Cody, who expertly answered my questions and facilitated getting some accessories scheduled and installed (also ahead of schedule!), kept me informed and arranged for my transportation to pickup the vehicle. Frank and the entire team were notable for their professionalism and customer service that we do not always find and truly appreciate. We originally were looking for a manual transmission 2020 Tacoma, but unfortunately they had just sent their only one to the Fairbanks dealer the day before. We decided to test drive an automatic just to see if we liked it, and we didn't. Tayfun was our sales rep and offered to bring out a used 2019 manual transmission for us to test drive just to see if we would be interested in having a 2020 shipped from another dealer. This was my first experience with any of the Kendall group in Alaska. The sales team was amazing, they were prompt, attentive, and knowledgeable. They hunted down the exact truck i was looking for and helped me get the options I needed with it. The sales managers were kind of distant, they didn't seem too involved. They were more concerned with making the sale than taking care of the customer is how I perceived it. Their finance department was completely disconnected from the sale. They did not come talk to us about what was going on with our credit, rates, or options. They handed the piece of paper off to the sales associate and had them drop it in front of us. We were never given an explanation on why our rates, payments, or terms were what they were. We ended up going through USAA on our own and cut our interest rates nearly in half. If you're going to use the dealership to work on your financing, study your credit in advance so you know what you're eligible for. All of that to say it was still a good experience and the truck is amazing!

I've been a customer for almost 10 years when I purchased my 2012 Tundra from them. Been taking my truck to Kendall for its regularly scheduled service and other work. I've been happy with their service, but the most recent one is why I decided to leave this 5 star review. Brought my truck in for some work and they ended dinging up my bike rack. Taelor, my service advisor at the time notified me right away and told me that they would make it right by either fixing it or replacing it. Took my truck in about a week later for a follow up service that would take multiple days to do. This time Andrew was the service advisor that handled the multi day service. He got me set up with a loaner vehicle. Both Taelor and Andrew notified me that they got an exact and new replacement for the rack that got damaged. They also got it installed while the truck was being worked on. Really appreciate the up front and open communication and handling of the issue as well as making sure work was done correctly on a major service for my truck. Also appreciate that the loaner vehicle you guys set me up with is the one I've been eyeing at as a commuter.

I came here a few months ago to order a brand new Sienna ! I was told the whole run around with production and slow manufacturing so it would probably be at least 2 months before they get it to Alaska. This was completely fine with me as we had plenty of time to wait and this was just an upgrade from our current vehicle. Well January comes around and I was reached out to a couple times for incoming siennas but they weren’t exactly what I ordered so I kept declining and saying I’ll wait for mine. After another month passed I was told it would be at least another 90 days and at this point I was almost done waiting and decided to check out the ONE sienna they had in stock. It wasn’t my exact build but it had some other features (tow hitch) that satisfied my trade off in taking it instead of what I ordered. After a couple hoops and negotiating I feel like we walked away with one heck of a deal, unlike many other dealerships where you feel you lost and settled for a lesser vehicle than you wanted or a higher price than you wanted to pay. Our salesman, Tim, has been amazing in the process and made this an enjoyable experience. I absolutely LOVE my new sienna!!!

Overall, our purchasing experience at Kendall Toyota with Rita was excellent HOWEVER: Update 1/20/2022; docked 2 stars today from prior 5 star review due to the worst customer service experience I ever received today at Toyota of Anchorage. Our tags, plates and registration were overdue. I called and Toyota said they never called us and that everything had been at Toyota since December. While waiting in line a service rep asked why I was here and I told her to pick up my plate and tags. She immediately was rude to me and asked with anger “Did I call you and tell you that it was here!?” No. “THEN IT’S NOT HERE!!!” I tried to explain that I confirmed there was an oversight on Toyota’s end but she would not listen or let me speak. She kept repeating “its not here!”. I just stood there in shock and I called her out on her vitriol and horrific lack of service and asked for her supervisor’s name. It was then that she called someone upstairs and the person let her know that the tags and plates were there since Dec and no one called. She went behind someone's desk and found my plates. She immediately changed her tune saying she had made over 150 calls about plates today but the damage was done. I was so upset I bypassed her supervisor and emailed the GM directly and filed a complaint. Purchasing a new vehicle is a big deal and I will be taking future purchases elsewhere. No one should be treated the way I was treated.

I just wanted to take a minute to rate my recent experience at Kendal Toyota of Anchorage. As you can see, I gave it 5 Stars. This was a very smooth process from beginning to end, more specifically I would like to give high praise to my saleswoman Rita Villanueva. Not only was she extremely genuine and a gentle person to boot, but also a true professional. I did not walk into Kendall at 7.50 pm on a Friday night intent on leaving there with a new vehicle, but the more time that I spent talking to Rita about my situation at that time the more inclined I became. Her knowledge and experience in auto sales was far superior to that of the salesperson that I encountered at other local dealerships. Her approach is quite relaxed and there was no pressure from her at all. After doing my homework and shopping around I knew the deal that I needed to make things work for me. At no time did I have to got to the mat with Rita to get that deal, she found a way to make it work in my favor and I couldn’t have asked for much more than that. With the tough and shortage of vehicles during this time, I get to leave Kendall with a brand-new Toyota Venza but I also left with my dignity still in fact. Thanks also go out to Sales Manager Jacob Courreges for his assistance and for staying true to his word. Finally, this would not have been possible without the help of Finance Manager. Historically I've had vehicle repairs done in the Kendall Toyota shop and had an great experience with the maintenance/repair department, even learned a few things! Recently I returned to Kendall Toyota to purchase a new 4Runner with an equally excellent adventure! The new 4Runner is so loaded with electronics and computer controlled 'smart' features, as I'm sure most vehicles made nowadays are, that it was somewhat overwhelming but the sales & management staff made that learning experience pretty darn painless! Our old A4 was the best handling car we've ever had for alaskan winters, and one of the most reliable and safe cars we've ever owned (crash tested twice while we owned it) so when we decided to trust a company to test the waters with an EV it was a no-brainer to chose the Audi E-Tron. It was no surprise to discover the folks at Anchorage Audi were still the kindest and most professional in town, and to be honest its really not a surprise that we were treated so fairly. However, its worth pointing out to others who may not have had such fair treatment, that AFTER we signed all the documtents they achieved an even better interest rate for us and passed it on fully without any shenanigans. Normal treatment for customers at Anchorage Audi, but I've dealt with other dealers in town who would have pocketed the difference in a better interest rate offer without telling the customer. My first visit was to the parts dept here after purchasing a used Highlander with only one key. When I came in the guy at the parts counter didn't seem like he wanted to be there or to help me. Could hardly understand his mumbling. I ordered a basic key as a backup. When it arrived, I went to pick it up and was told I'd have to make an appointment with the service department. WHAT?! I was not told that when I ordered the key or when I was called to go pick it up. They said it would take an hour or so (costing me how much more??). I was very upset and disappointed and felt this was an underhanded way to do business. I asked to see the service manager and he listened, understood, and got it taken care of right away with no more expense. I can't remember his name, but he is the only reason I would ever go back there. Even walked me out to my car and made me feel like I was a valued customer which the parts department certainly did not.

Solid work, friendly and informative staff. Always answer question promptly and pretty good at hitting time estimates. Recently, they stopped offering drop off/pickup. And they stopped paying for Uber or lyft. So, if you aren't going to wait there, make plans on your own to get where you are going. A bit of a nuisance. Their waiting area is large and the wifi is ample for working.

Sam Park was great to work with. I ended up pre-ordering a Sienna and was able to fill out most of the paper work remotely. He kept me informed of the order status on a regular basis. When it arrived with features I hadn't requested he worked hard to make sure I wasn't charged for those. When I actually got into the dealership I was a bit disappointed by how long the whole process took, especially since it was a pre-order. I felt like the financing agent was deceptive in sharing the financing information by rolling it together with a very expensive extended warranty after I had waited several hours at the dealer. That said he was able to get me a much lower interest rate then I had been able to find on my own which I was impressed by. In the future I would probably insist on doing more of the paperwork remotely. I was able to do that with another dealership years ago and it made the buying experience much more pleasant to have all the terms agreed before going in.

The next day I received a call, something happened with the financing (more down payment was needed) so I decided to return the car. We were asked about buying a new vehicle and given the safety ratings and features of the RAV4. The manager went above and beyond what I expected and provided excellent customer service. I test drove the RAV4 and loved it! We were given a deal we couldn't refuse.

Probably the LEAST stressful new car purchase I’ve ever made. We worked with AARON. We came in initially in the evening and did not buy. He was not pushy at all about us making a commitment. The next day we came back. As many know, buying a new car generally consumes your day and is extremely stressful, in a good way as well as being a bit scary. I believe they gave us a reasonable final price after trade in considerations and Aaron was very professional through everything- explaining; sorting out the features and needs, and then once we made our Vehicle choice, gave us personalized one on one tutorials about all the unfamiliar things and how to make them work. At some point I asked them how many cars they sell in a day. It was profound to me, the level of personalized care I got (I literally felt like I was the only person buying a car there) especially given the figure the gentleman gave me. It wasn’t just our salesman who was amazing to work with- everyone we encountered was exceptional. This appears to be a company who takes good care of their employees and that is important to me. I would highly recommend going in there and asking for Aaron. He will take care of you fully and help you make a good informed choice on what to get. So glad we went here; looking forward to the peace of mind of working with them for our maintenance needs in the future.

Just wanted to share my experience at Kendall Toyota this past Sunday. I rated my experience as 5 stars because the process was so smooth from start to finish. Hayden Kausal is hands down the best salesmen to work with, and I personally would recommend him to anyone who is looking to buy, sell, or trade their car in. This is the second time I have worked with him and both times have been so painless. We all know how it can be when buying a car!! Hayden was so professional and knowledgeable about everything and was able to answer all my questions. Hayden has been in sales for three years and it shows. He is not your typical pushy sales person and that is what I loved about working with him and not to mention, he’ll go above and beyond for all his clients, and make sure you’re taken care of. I went in last Sunday to look at a CX-3 Mazda touring, and Hayden showed up to the lot on his day off to show me the car. I ended up not liking the CX-3 touring as much as I thought I would and he helped me find another car in my price range that checked off all my boxes. Hayden helped me get into a 2016 all-wheel-drive Audi S3, and I could not be happier with my purchase!!

I had the best car buying experience ever! I applied for a loan with Toyota online and was contacted via e-mail the next day. That e-mail let me chose my preferred method of contact and I chose via text message because I cannot have my phone on me at all times where I work. Kyle Lee (great salesman) contacted me and we did everything.....everything.... via text. I told him I wanted the red Tundra on the showroom floor and he ran the loan app, negotiated price and started all the paperwork once I declared it sold! We arranged for me to come by the next day during lunch and make it happen. Kyle was very attentive and knowledgeable; highly recommend you talk to him if your in the market for a Toyota. The one thing I was dreading was the finance department. But yet again, another outstanding employee, James Plaster, managed to get me a reduced interest rate due to my credit rating and he wasn't pushy like you expect. Everything about my experience was well above my expectations. We all need vehicles and usually dealing with the dealership is the worst part. Not so at Kendall Toyota!
