I had a great experience here. Walked into the lot and was greeted by Trevor. He was easy going and was willing to let me drive around and get a feel for the vehicle without being pushy or rushing me. After a few tries we found the right model and trim for me. The negotiations we fair a equitable for both parties and they got me a great interest rate for financing through Sissy in the finance department. Then the manager reached out to see if I had concerns or issues but I was super happy with the purchase. I highly recommend this dealership.

I recently had to upgrade my 2019 ford explorer for towing purposes and I did not want to part with it. I loved my car and I refused to settle on a new car I didn't like. They had a 19 explorer in the trim we needed and Tom was awesome to work with by giving more for my trade and going the extra mile after hours when the bank was closed to find out what my payment would be. I would definitely go see them again.

i recently got into a accident with my dream truck a 2020 tacoma, after losing that truck i searched everywhere but Kendall Ford certainly helped more than any other dealership. Seth was the salesman that i dealt with and he was awesome, instead of finding any truck within my price range he asked what my hobbies are so he could help me find a truck that fits my lifestyle. And that he did and even helped me make the truck a little more affordable by bringing the asking price down just under 4 grand. Jordan who works in finance went absolutely above and beyond to help me make this process as easy and quick, he helped me with paperwork, cosigning paperwork and signatures from my dad back home, he even came in on 2 of his off days, that kid deserves a raise. All in all i felt completely taken care of by each person i spoke with during this process and would certainly recommend Kendall Ford of Anchorage!

We had Clint Steger from the Sales department assisting us, he was very laid back,friendly, professional and helpful! I did not feel pressured at ALL while working with him & although he was busy with several other clients he made an effort to ensure we had his undivided attention.
Once we made our decision, it was all hands on deck from there🙌 We gave Clint our offer and after speaking with his General sales manager Jo Marie Sila she took it from there and instantly made the numbers work in our FAVOR! It took less than 20Min for us to come to an AGREEMENT that satisfied all parties.
From there, the Finance Manager-Sissy closed the deal out for us! She had everything situated in black and white and even ensured we got a WARRANTY to go along with our sweet ride.
In total from the time we hit the lot to closing it took less than 4 hours! Each Team Member that assisted us has years of experience in this business & it clearly showed in their interactions with us!

Great experience here! Steve and Jordan were incredible. I have bought and been apart of numerous vehicle transactions, and I have never had an experience like the one we had with Kendall Ford. Steve went the extra mile right off the bat. The second snow storm just hit the night before. He went out to find multiple options for us. When one didn’t have quite what we wanted, he instantly went back out into the elements and found the perfect vehicle for us. Jordan found us the best rate he could and really went above and beyond. Usually the finance manger is someone you would dread talking to, because they try to sell you things you really do not need. But with Jordan he did not fit this stereotype. He laid out all of the options and gave us clarity on questions we had. The entire process was incredibly smooth. I highly recommend these two incredible team members and Kendall Ford as a whole!

Arberim was great ! He took us serious as customers. We were able to test drive the vehicle we needed and he was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle too. He answered all our questions. He was very considerate too. He offered us Waters and asked if there's anything you could need more than once. Very accommodating and friendly.
As for the finance department, they were very nice. Sissy sat down with me, and went over the numbers. She was very nice, and displayed great people skills. And no moment did I feel that I was trying to be pushed into a sale.

I was camping at Denali National Park, when I realized that my F150 was due for an oil change. I tried to book an appointment on line, had some correspondence but had no success in booking an appointment. A few days later I showed up at Kendall in Anchorage, and they advised that they never received
my request for appointment.
Mark, the service manager, worked diligently with Anne of the quick lane to get me in for an oil change and a necessary rear brake job, all the same day.

These guys did an absolutely AMAZING job with getting my vehicle serviced. As a young female going to get a vehicle serviced alone, I always have fears that people will try to take advantage of my lack of knowledge, but this was so far from the case with the phenomenal service staff here. At no point was there any pressure to get additional services. I showed up a few minutes early for my 4:15pm appointment, and they were already waiting to take my vehicle. They let me hang out in the very comfortable waiting area, and they had my oil change done in 30 minutes. Every person I came in contact with had a smile on their face and were kind and polite. Edit: today Mark Sterling the service manager called and did everything in his power to get me into a vehicle to drive while mine is awaiting repair. While the service department is booked out several months for fixing the suspension, getting transportation at no cost to me was one of the most important things to me in this process. I am happy with this quick resolution, but I will not give a perfect review as it did take some time and effort to reach the proper person. I will update my review as the process goes on.
I received my dream car, a 2022 Bronco Badlands with the sasquatch package in July 2022, after reserving it two years prior. I had been enjoying the vehicle until January 16, 2023, when I had (what I perceive to be) a catastrophic failure at 4831 miles. I was driving down Muldoon at about 30mph when my tire was either misaligned so much the bead lock on my tire came unsealed or my tire popped, deflating the tire in its entirety. I pulled over to change the tire, when I realized that something behind the wheel had snapped--either involving my axle or suspension. I had the vehicle towed to the dealership, but had called beforehand. I was told on the phone THEY COULD NOT GET ME IN UNTIL MARCH. I voiced that this was unacceptable and that I needed to get the vehicle in as soon as possible, as it was practically brand new. The vehicle has not even been on any crazy offroading trails and is just my daily driver. I had been assigned a corporate customer assistant that has not seemed to help at all or email me her contact information, and the service manager has not called me back after leaving a message 24 hours ago. If I can get verification that the issue is caused by something covered under the (bumper to bumper) warranty, which should absolutely apply here, I can rent a car that I can be reimbursed at least some of the price for. However, no one seems to be worried that this could have caused a huge accident and been a giant issue for my safety. I don't even know if this issue can be fixed, as Ford isn't even able to keep up with the manufacturing of the vehicles. I wasn't a Ford fan before I bought the vehicle, but had fallen for this particular car. I am now really having a hard time liking the car--I have received no assurances that anyone cares if it happens again or any realistic timeline when my $70,000 vehicle will be road-worthy again. This is awful customer service and I would never recommend anyone go through this experience.

All of the staff, from sales to service, were friendly and very helpful. I put in a custom order on the new ranger the day it was available. The staff kept me updated all the way from order, the day it was built, shipping progress, the trucks arrival in anchorage, to picking me up at the airport when I flew down to receive delivery. About 6 months start to finish. The service department answered any and all questions I had and even researched a couple of things for me. All in all my first custom order on a new vehicle was a good experience with Kendall.

I bought a vehicle from here last week and I had a decent experience here, however after reading some of these other reviews, I feel a bit taken advantage of as others were able to get the price down on vehicle purchases in just the last few weeks, and they wouldn't budge even a little bit on mine, as I was told that they weren't doing that right now due to the market.. anyhow, Jonathan from Kendall Volkswagen was great. I did end up purchasing a vehicle I liked from the Kendall Ford lot, but Jonathan went over there with me and was the salesman that helped me and spent half the day with me finalizing my trade-in. He was very friendly, not pushy in any way, gave honest opinions/input, was knowledgable about all the features in all the vehicles he showed me, and made good conversation while we were waiting for everything to get finalized.

Kendal Ford has been a love/hate experience with me. With my first vehicle being a used Chrysler in 2017. They buying experience was great but the aftercare at Service was a PITA. I purchased the FORD extended warranty for a Chrysler and had nothing but arguments with Service advisors as well as the extended warranty department. The sales Manager was able to verify my issues and get most of the issues with the vehicle taken care of. Unfortunately he was let go (or quit) and service went down hill from there. (5 stars for sales, 5 stars for old Service manager, 2 stars for current Service Advisors as of 11/2021)
However, this review is about my next purchase of a NEW vehicle. Again buying experience was great, quick and easy. Trevor did the leg work of finding the vehicle for me, Bill did the extensive paperwork, and Sissy (sp) finished everything up. I have also been contacted by Trevor as well as the Sales Manager to ensure everything has been going smooth (possibly due to the issues in the past with above vehicle?) Anyways, would highly recommend Kendall Ford at this time. I do hope that my experience with the Service Dept. in the future is smoother than with previous vehicle, time will tell.

From start to finish, this has to be the best car buying experience I have ever had. I originally viewed a vehicle online and got set up with John G. While walking around the lot while my trade in was being appraised, I saw a different vehicle I wanted to test drive.
I was given what I consider a fair deal for my trade in and they gave me some numbers to look over as an estimate of what my payments would look like. Went home that night to think about it.
John was very understanding about me taking the time to think it over. I believe it was one of the managers that came and talked to me before i left about how my visit went. Even then, i wasnt pressured on my decision. He just wanted to make sure all my questions were answerd by John.
I returned the next day and test drove the truck 1 more time and decided to go for it.
On the finance side, Jordan E. Really knows his stuff. The first lender to come back was at a higher apr than what I wanted and he already knew that. With it being the weekend he said let's give it until Monday because he knew I could get the APR I wanted from another lender. And sure enough, it came through.
Signing went very smooth. I was informed of what i was signing at all times and questions answered.
The whole process from start to finish was easy and I wasn't pressured at any point to hurry and make a decision.

We recently purchased a new 2017 Ford Explorer and our experience was very a pleasant one! Our sales person Afrim Alimi was very knowledgeable and informative of the vehicle, listened to our wants and needs of a vehicle. And filled our order,even as far as going all around to find the right color with the right options. Not an easy task after a big snow and freezing temperatures. He cleaned off several vehicles. After Afrim found us our perfect one he handed us over to John Staffan in the finance department. Another pleasant experience. John went out of his way searching for the best options for us. He did the math in several ways to achieve the best deal for us. He asked all the right questions how we were going to use ,how long did we plan on keeping our new ride( did I say what an AWSOME Sweet ride it is). Update:
30 minutes after I posted the original thread, I got a call from Mark Sterling, the service manager from Kendall Ford. I was offered to go back for a free oil change and oil stain cleanup. Mark and his team was able to accelerate my service, which was done within 90 minutes. I was advised to drive my truck for 3 more days and check if the diesel smell goes away. If not, then I will need to schedule a diagnose service.

I had an oil change in mid-October for my F-150, and few days later I noticed some weird noise under the hood especially when drove in the locals. Later, I found there was some odd smell from the driver side like diesel burning inefficiently (most happened after I got off highway), and there was some oil stain below engine. So I tried to schedule a diagnose service from Kendal Ford. Unfortunately due to lack of experienced technician, I was able to schedule an appointment in six weeks on Dec 7th (OK, I fully understood that).
Today, when I dropped my F-150. After talked to the advisor whom I really appreciated, and we found there is oil leak from engine based on the oil stain. I decided to ask him to open the hood and show me where I can check engine oil level and how to add engine oil by myself in case there is not enough engine oil since there will be another 2 weeks waiting until I can get another appointment to diagnose oil leak. What shocked me after he opened the hood is that the dipstick is NOT inserted in the position and popped up all the way to the hood. THIS IS WHY I HEARD WEIRD NOISE UNDER THE HOOD, AND WHY THERE IS OIL STAIN BELOW THE ENGINE (ENGINE OIL SURGED UP OUT OF ENGINE), AND WHY THERE IS DIESEL BURNING SMELL. Fortunately, there is still enough engine oil left. So I took the advisor's recommendation not do any checks today, but drive for few weeks to see if the weird sound and smell will go way. However, I don't know whether or not Kendall Ford will take the responsibility if the engine is damaged.

It was our second or third look at the F-150/F-250's. The initial sales associate recognized that we already had an idea of what we were looking for in terms of torque, axle ratios, tongue weight, etc. and pulled in someone else on the sales team that matched us well. (I felt like that was a very respectable thing to do.) Our main sales associate, Clint, was able to answer all of our questions and had a very chill demeanor. We didn't feel rushed. We didn't feel pressured. Overall, all very pleasant experience.

This is about their sales department. Looking to buy a used car. Message them through AutoTrader and then look at their website about one of two they have that I'm greatly interested in. However the main one has different descriptions on three different websites (compared the VIN). So, I get an email back, asking for a phone number (provided in the first message). I emailed them my phone number. Granted it was only a day, but they didn't respond. Not wanting to waste a trip, I call and get the same person that emailed me. Asked about the two cars, NEITHER available. One is getting repaired and the other won't be available for 2-3 weeks, because it is being "re-conditioned". Talk about a waste of my time.
I noticed that almost all of the negative reviews, Kendall Anchorage adds a comment, saying they'll get in touch the reviewer or to call them. Really curious if they "fixed" the complaints or if it is just a tool they use to say "oh, we tried to resolve your issue, you just never called us back"... Lithia uses the same technique.

Had some issues upon my first visit with the financing department. But after I voiced my issues the sales staff reached out to me the next day and cleared everything up. Unfortunately I had already reached a deal with another seller. I was impressed with the quick, courteous response to my issues. Very appreciated. Starting short sales seems to be super successful, however you advertise your sales by your salesmen or saleswoman that this is similar to Craigslist or FB marketplace sales. In the sense of this type of transaction titles are registration is avaliable likely the same day. I suggest you dedicate this service to customers who buy the short sales. I tried to get an appointment to have my oil changed at Kendall Ford in Wasilla, but they didn't have any openings. Kendall Ford in Anchorage had an appointment the next day at 9:30. It took them 3 hours to change the oil and fuel filters which isn't unreasonable. However, they forgot to fill the Diesel Exhaust Fluid. Again not catastrophic, but inconvenient. I'll do it myself. The worst part was that they broke my washer fluid nozzle under the hood, but claimed there was no way they broke it. I had to pay $24 for two pieces which are $2 a piece online and they acted like there were doing me a service for not charging me labor.
Update: Mark called this morning and acknowledged that my experience was not up to their standard and credited my account for the parts. The whole ordeal was still a little frustrating, but I'm much happier now that they have acknowledged the problem and taken steps to be better. I'm now comfortable coming to them with future business.

The truck I purchased that day’s sticker price was $47000. I was unfortunately hit with a decently high interest rate that they didn’t think was fair to me so they gave me the truck for $42,000! This was my first time buying a new vehicle and needless to say, Kendall anchorage made it a very exceptional, easy, and comfortable experience!

My car had broke down and I was desperately looking for a Toyota Tacoma. I tried used car lots and even new ones and no one could work with me. I have only had my current job for a month. So naturally the banks wanted nothing to do with me (especially because this is my first time buying a vehicle as well). I received a text from Vember (he’s amazing btw) and he asked if I was still looking around. After feeling defeated I decided one more try couldn’t hurt. We talked up until closing on Friday, by Saturday I was set up with their finance person Rachael (also amazing). She called me with good news that morning and by the early afternoon I had my keys in hand. Definitely an amazing dealership with even more amazing people. Things have changed since the pandemic, but I think it depends on which service agent one gets . A couple of days ago I had an agent, female, who was efficient and friendly. The service was completed in an hour. Today, with a car requiring less service, I waited over 2 1/2 hrs. The service agent, this time male, failed to tell me they had not ordered the proper oil filter until I'd been waiting 2 hrs! There is still a decent waiting area, no more free shuttle, free refreshments one day, but not the next. I only visit when my cars need regular servicing, thank Heaven! I will need to do a bit more driving to confirm the servicing was successful. Sorry to say after today's experience, my rating has gone down!

I had somewhat low expectations from previous reviews at the service department, however, I was pleasantly surprised in my experience. I worked with Ernest Moore to get my vehicle oil changed and he offered a free tire rotation and other items checked without solicitation. They were timely, thorough and informative concerning areas to keep an eye on in the future for my F-150. I'll definitely be back!

Went to Kendall’s used car lot on old Seward, staff was friendly and helpful. Told them what I was looking for, year, model, mileage and price range. They didn’t have exactly what I was looking for, but let me test drive an older model, then directed me to the main dealership on Gambell. The salesman Randy, met me there two different days. He was very friendly and patient while I test drove truck after truck. Poor guy probably spent a solid 5 hours on the 4th of July helping me until I finally found and bought the truck I’ve been looking for. Great experience, Randy has even contacted me twice since my purchase to see if I was happy with my new vehicle, or had any further questions. Will definitely refer anyone to them in the future

I wasn't all that sure if I was gonna be able to get a car at that day, but my man Angus made it happen. I knew what I wanted and we were trying to get me exactly that, but it couldn't happen with it being my first car and no down payment. I did get hooked up with a brand new Fiesta and it's great for me. I have a good warranty, and protection thanks to Matthew. All in all, I didn't walk out with what I wanted, but I still get to comfortably get around town and in the valley. Very awesome experience, hope they're around the next time I gotta buy again, and hopefully I'll be much more prepared for the decision

I recently bought a 2015 F 150 at Kendall of Anchorage. The salesman was John Croffut. Prior to meeting John, I met with several other salesman at other dealerships and drove a number of F 150's. John's attitude and approach was by far the best. He was knowledgeable about the vehicle, very honest and was not high pressure (which I hate). When I told him that, during the 3 day return period, I was going to take the vehicle to my own mechanic for a buyer inspection, John asked only that I give Kendall a chance to address them. My mechanic noted a few minor items. All of them were addressed by the sales and service folks at Kendall.
For what it is worth, I actually spent more than my target budget due to the experience with John. He made the difference. I am sure he is and will be a great asset to your organization.

Over this past year, I have had several experiences with the service shop at Kendall Ford of Anchorage. When I first had my truck serviced in November of 2019, I didn't get it back until February 2020. Although this took for what seemed like forever, the service team did provide me with a rental truck that they paid for - which made up for this inconvenience. However, It was very difficult to get anyone to return my phone calls or give me updates regarding my truck. I had to even go down to the shop in person a few time to get an update. This was SUPER FRUSTRATING. Bottom line - they assigned one of their service reps who eventually became their service manager (I believe), Tiana Hay, to me. She truly stepped up and gave nothing but premium customer service. I returned to this shop 2 times since that incident and Tiana was their saving grace each time. She followed up often, reviewed options, and gave me realistic timeframes to plan around this inconvenience. Honestly, if it weren't for her, I would not have returned to this shop and this would be a 1 star rating . Kudos to Kendall Ford to hiring some great people that truly make a difference in customer service.

Challenging, but overall successful, experience. They had my truck for 15 days over four weeks. I initially made an appointment because my tire pressure warning light was on. $2500 and three weeks later, I finally get the truck back. I then had problems with my turbo and battery. Ford serviced these at no charge.

My original review is below. Soon after I picked up my car from getting the Oil Pan replaced (below), something in the front end started rattling. I called Mr. Olson, as they suggested in their response below. He listened to me and understood my frustration with the experience I had. He agreed that my customer service experience was not ideal and was not what they wanted to practice.
He helped me get my car scheduled and looked at and the problem resolved the same day.
My service rep, the assistant manager in service, and the dealership manager all came out to meet me and make sure my situation was resolved.
Thank you, Kendall Ford of Anchorage - you've restored my faith in you. And I love my Ford Edge Sport again!

My (Ford) car has an oil pan leak, for the second time in a year. So, I took it to Kendall Ford Anchorage since it's a warranty issue. It's now been there for 13 business days. I received Zero phone calls or status reports from the Service Rep the whole first week it was there. They already had the parts. This is simply man hours that are needed at this point. No calls, no messages. I called the service rep - but i received no calls back. Finally today (by now, my car has been there 13 weekdays) I called and left an "urgent" message. Finally - She calls me - all happy: "How are you?" Seriously? How am I? I want my car. No apology, just excuses. She told me "It's going to MAYBE be done in two more business days." That would be a total of three weeks that they had my car.
I wish I'd read the reviews about Kendall Ford before buying - it looks like people have pretty much the same service experience I have had. Poor form, Kendall.
You should listen to your "hold" music (I've certainly heard a lot of it over the past three weeks) - it says you "really care" about your customers. Actually, you should probably just change it, so that it's more accurate. At least it will give your customers a heads-up of what they're in for.

We had only a few hours before we had to head to homer and take the ferry, the team stayed and worked with us until midnight so we could make the purchase official. The day I purchased my car I truly went just to look at a vehicle that was on the Kendall Ford website. I wanted to check out the size of it but it was love at first sight.
My sales consultant, Asonte, was a kind genuine person, not just because he wanted to sell me a car. We took a ride in the EcoSport and I was in love with this cute little suv, it was perfect in every way, the look, the price and the sporty red color!!
Putting the deal together was easy, I knew what I wanted to spend and the payment I wanted, I figured if it didn't work out it wasn't meant to be. But it did and the next step was the finance manager Jo, also very kind and genuine. She did tell me all my options with extended service plans, gap insurance, etc but no high pressure and I greatly appreciated that.
I received a call a few days later from the sales manager, Matt, to check on how my car was doing and I let him know there was a minor issue (cosmetic) with the car. He sent the service order over while we were still on the phone. Got a call from Megan in service a couple days later to make an appt to check it out.The day I went she was stuck in traffic but I was quickly helped by another service consultant and the part was ordered. She was very nice and I apologize that I don't remember her name. She told me the part would be in the next week and it was. Brought my car back, the part was quickly replaced and I was on my was. During my wait my sales consultant, Asonte, came by to check on my and Jo, the finance manager did as well.
From the time I originally walked through the front door of the dealership every aspect of my car buying experience was amazing.

I never write reviews but have to make an exception here. I found the truck I was looking for at Kendall Ford in Anchorage and Matt Feichtinger was my sales guy. He braved a very cold morning to show me the truck which was in excellent condition and VERY clean. I did not purchase it the day I looked at it but what impressed me the most was Matt did not take offense when I told him I had another truck to consider before making a decision. A few days later I committed to purchasing the truck but would not be able to pick it up for another two and a half weeks. Again, no pressure to get it off the lot sooner and his professionalism continued until the day I drove it off the lot. I have purchased my share of new and used vehicles and have heard all the sales pitches and felt the pressure but not here. Wow! The best used car buying experience I have ever had. This was my first time dealing with Kendall Ford and it was awesome.
The salesman was very nice, answered all my questions, wasn't pushy, was honest and easy to talk to. He was able to knock a few hundred dollars off the sticker price and Kendall is repairing the windshield and detailing the interior at no charge. I don't live in Anchorage, but Kendall is still doing the detailing and windshield repair for me when I get the vehicle back to my home town.

I was timid at first seeing all the bad and negative reviews about them but I went in and just made sure I conveyed what I wanted and Damon was very helpful in making my experience with service for my focus it needed a new TCM which was covered under the recall warranty and he even told me that there was another piece he recommended replacing and if I did it then and there it'd be cheaper because of the warranty and I agreed to the extra work which was only 180 for a big job like taking out a transmission I was glad to lay such a low price. A little back and forth on the trade in, but both us and them were upfront and honest and we came to an agreement that felt fair to both parties. I came to kendall Ford for a recall notice. The customer service on the phone was great and I scheduled my appt right away. When I got to the service center however, the female service assistant told me to wait for an open service agent without checking to see if anyone was available. I stood around about 15 minutes, asked her again if anyone was available and she replied the same thing. 5 minutes later I asked an agent if he was open and he apologized because he thought the assistant was helping me. If Talon was not such great help the first time and the follow up I came in for, the review would have been much worse. I didnt get a call to schedule once parts arrived for my vehicle, instead I ended up calling to check a couple of weeks later. He recognized me at the follow up and again provided great customer service. Kendall needs to do a better job with checking people standing around in the service center to make sure everyone is being assisted or aware they need assistance. More, the quick response of the customer transportation is great. They were quick and helpful.

Recently stopped in to shop around for my first car since moving to Alaska. I was greeted by John Croffut (I hope I got that right) who showed me around one vehicle I was eyeing up but while driving back through the lot, I saw the car I’d really been looking for. After another test drive, he was very reassuring about seeing what deal could be made without being pushy at all which I really appreciate. Being new to the country, I didn’t have much in the way of savings for the down payment nor much of a credit history but Magic was worked very well for me without fuss. He really took the time to actually get to know me and made the whole experience personal which made the waiting time from finance pass quickly. First off, let me preface this by saying I NEVER write reviews. This review is extremely important to me and I hope my experience helps someone else in their car purchasing journey.
A little back story on my situation is that my husband and I have a lot of children and we have become accustomed to taking 2 trucks anywhere we needed to go with all of them, which is expensive and tedious. Being in the market for a vehicle with a third row and a budget in mind I looked everywhere from here (Wasilla) to Soldotna to find something that would check the boxes. While internet searching is good for some things, it only gets you so far. We decided to head out and make the dreaded dealership walks. We started this experience at 6 other dealerships. Yes, your read that right.... 6. Literally a living nightmare. During our experience at these other dealerships we were lied to, ignored, passed off and beyond fed up with the treatment we received. At one dealership in particular not only were we lied to, but the salesman actually THREW A COMPUTER MOUSE and yelled when we weren’t interested in a particular vehicle he had “chosen” for us. Another dealership even attempted to get us to make an hour drive for a vehicle that couldn’t meet the seating requirements and couldn’t even be registered in the USA! The lies and games seemed endless in order for them to “make the sale.”
Needless to say by the end of the day we were frustrated, exhausted and felt defeated. I made a call to Kendall Ford of Anchorage and asked for sales. I was DEFINITELY not looking forward to another negative experience, but I was hoping this would be different. I had found a vehicle online and wanted some back story. I needed to confirm that it ACTUALLY had the seats we needed, and that, oh i don’t know, that we didn’t have to go to CANADA for service or registration. I was immediately connected to a sales rep names Brian Charles. This man is incredible and I cannot say enough good about him. He not only answered all of my questions, but the things he could not answer, he found out and called me back within minutes. As my experience that day had been HORRIFIC I had many questions, and many times he had to check, or ask. He was happy and polite each and every time. I felt so comfortable by the end of our conversations that this vehicle fit what we needed and that he was genuine my family and I made the 1.5 hour drive to the dealership at 7pm to take a look. I was TRULY excited for the first time during this whole experience. After all, buying a car should be fun. Once we arrived at the dealership it was apparent that the vehicle I had my eye on was not only pulled up front and warmed, it had been cleaned of snow and was ready to look at and test drive. We were greeted by Brian who smiled from the time we got there until we left. The entire interaction with him was pleasant. He was extremely professional, honest and not even remotely pushy. He allowed time for my husband and I to talk and have our own space. But he didn’t leave too long or make us feel unimportant. He answered every question we had and is a truly a blessing to the car buying experience. I wish there were more like him. A true family oriented, honest, hard working gentleman and Kendall is so lucky to have him. He is an asset.
From there we were transferred to finance to finalize paperwork and our car buying experience got even better. We had the pleasure of working with Matthew French. From the second he shakes your hand you know you are in good hands. He is honest and also very dedicated to his work. He did something that in all the vehicles I have purchased (many) No one else has done, he explained everything without being prompted. He made sure there were zero surprises. He genuinely enjoys his job and you can tell. I truly believe that is part of what sets him apart. He wants to help and make sure everything goes smoothly. If there are questions, he answers them. I cannot express my gratitude to these two enough. If you are in the marketplace see Brian and Matthew. You will be so glad you did.

I came in looking for very specific features for a Ford F-150. I was greated by Mauricio Frias who was glad to help me find what I was looking for. I needed a Super crew,5.0, 36 gallon tank, 6.5 bed and back up camera. This was not an easy task, Ford is pushing those Twin screws pretty darn hard. His lot didn't have what I was looking for, we drove to the downtown location, then to their arrivals near ship Ave. No luck what so ever. We exchanged info and I headed of to work. A week later he called me up and said he had found the perfect truck and it had just been delivered. He was able to send me photos of the truck and the window sticker so I could see the options. When I returned from work a week later he had it sitting in the lot waiting for me at 9 am.Mauricio was right... I loved the truck. He even made an appointment to have my other trucks tires swapped over to summer tread then helped me drop off the same truck to get a new window while the new one was being prepared for me. I am very pleased with the time and effort that was put forth by him and the staff at Cal Ford. If you need help with financing Sissy will have you sitting pretty.She was very helpful and made the experience even better. Small side note. A few days after purchase I noticed a small imperfection on the trucks paint, I called Mauricio and he is helping me get it fixed as I type. I recently purchased a vehicle this past week and these people are amazing! My first contact was with Austin via email who continued to communicate with me frequently regarding any updates. He ensured what my needs were and continued to work with me. Andrew was also involved and talked with me over the phone and assured me Jo Marie the Finance Manager could meet me the next day and made an appointment for me. He explained that this was her day off but she was coming in to talk with me. I went into Kendall Ford thinking that the deal would probably not work due to unforeseen financial obligations prior to arrival. I was greeted immediately when walking in the door. Austin met with me and informed me that the vehicle was being detailed and things were in order. I explained that I didn't want to sign anything until I met with the Jo Marie the finance manager to discuss some concerns I had. He immediately informed Jo Marie.
Jo Marie came in and introduced herself and stated she knew I had some questions and how could she help me? I explained to her what my needs were and she genuinely listened to my concerns and expectations. I have never met a Finance Manager like Jo Marie that truly took the time to assess my needs and work such a deal. Jo Marie sealed the deal and reconfirmed that there are still people out there who truly want to help other people.
As we looked at my Credit scores and the history I explained the details of my circumstances. She said she understood and knows there is always a story behind the paper and numbers. I am an RN that works nights and its hard to do business during the day time hours. I came here as a Travel RN a year and a half ago and have been renting a car. Had I known this process was this easy by these dedicated team of Professionals I would have come alot sooner! My Husband and I have bought many vehicles from our home Chevrolet dealership in Louisiana including Suburbans & Chevy Trucks however, the promptness, professionalism and hospitality here beats them! I worked with Joseph at Cal Worthington Ford. He was SUPER easy to deal with and good guy. No high pressure sales tactics or sleazy feeling. He treated you like a CUSTOMER. I already knew what I wanted for a vehicle and explained to Joseph that I had already made up my mind on the same vehicle but on someone else's lot. I explained what I was willing to pay if the vehicle they had on their lot was in good shape. He said they could work with that offer. I set a time/date with Joseph, looked at the vehicle and decided to take it for a test drive.
Cal's had the color of the vehicle I wanted and that played a factor, however the vehicle was in rougher shape than I was expecting after just viewing the same vehicle at another lot. I explained that I couldn't give them what we initially agreed upon as the vehicle was in worse shape than I expected. Joseph said no problem and passed me over to Ed.
Ed was super easy to work with, within 5 minutes we came to a price that we both agreed on and about 40 minutes later I had signed all the paperwork and was out the door.
The finance team was also super easy to work with.
Overall, a great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to do business with this team/guys again!
Everyone I worked with was laid back, understanding and not trying to stress sell you or pressure sale. I honestly can't stand those type of guys and no matter how bad I want a vehicle I will walk out purely on principal.

2. The loan guy we dealt with was extremely pushy with warranty on a car the had 0 miles on it and comes with factory warranty. Maybe he fought I was dumb and didn’t know you can always buy one later of from a different dealership, but that was a little irritating.
3. Who’s this isn’t a big problem yet, and I’ll update it when they fix the problem, but they only had one key for it. And they have to supply me with two. I went back today (3) days later and they said they put in paperwork to try and find it. And they should be calling me, when Friday they said if they couldn’t find it by Monday that they would just make me a new key. Which like I said isn’t a big deal yet. But I’ll update the review after they get me another key.

Buying a new car can be a daunting process. Between finding the right lender to finance your purchase and then discovering exactly what it is you want in a vehicle can be taxing on the mind and the wallet. With any big decision in life you will always want to do your due diligence to get the best bang for your buck when it comes to big dollar items.
I am not at all experienced with buying a vehicle.I did what research I could so I wouldn't show up empty handed but the fact that Cal Worthington is completely transparent with every dollar that goes into your prospective purchase saves a lot of heartache in the short and long term. I shopped around until I found exactly the vehicle I wanted and I came into Cal Worthington Ford in Anchorage to get what I had set my heart on.
The lines on a 2015 Ford Fusion are spectacular. Taking cues from top of the line makes such as the Aston Martin and the notorious Bentley, they modeled the front end to match with high end luxury cars. It doesn't just stop at the front either. Every detail is well thought out. Some of the problems you see with newer cars is very simplistic but cheap designs on small items such as the buttons for interior lights, the switches for the windows and locks, even the cup holders. Fords designers took very good care of every aspect of this car. Each aspect is finely crafted and well thought out for a production vehicle.
Now when I walked into Cal Worthington I expected the same treatment I would get from everywhere else. As it goes for most dealerships each salesman is going to be friendly to work with and all have their own styles of selling. It's always been a pleasant experience for me. Where Nicholas Steger stood out was his fluidity in his approach. He wasn't overbearing, he was legitimately excited about showing me what Ford had to offer. I didn't let him know what I wanted off the bat. I gave him a ballpark so that he would show me some pre-owned vehicles at first just so I could feel out his approach. It was great! Showed me a few cars that I wasn't truly sold on but his knowledge of each make and model is fantastic and thorough. He told me the pros and cons of everything I sat in.
When I finally got to what I had originally came in for he showed me everything I already knew and showed me a couple of things other salesman either didn't think of to mention or were entirely ignorant to. He was very knowledgeable about the Ford Fusions and the other cars that they had to offer as well. His engagement was warm and welcoming through the entire process.
When it came down to the numbers he guided me through the process and worked with his manager to get me the best deal for what I was wanting. I didn't want to sign immediately because I wanted to wait to see what some of the local competitors would offer me. When it came down to it, Nicholas got me the best deal I could ever ask for! The other dealer didn't even give me rates for the car with the current rebates provided by the manufacturer!
Overall my experience with Cal Worthington and Nicholas Steger in particular were top notch. I couldn't recommend them enough! If you are looking for a new vehicle and are looking for top tier production values I would definitely recommend Ford. If you are looking for a Ford in Anchorage or even the Valley then it is definitely worth the drive over to Cal Worthington and speaking with Nicholas Steger.

This review is for the service Advisors. My truck was had a bunch of things wrong with it. I scheduled it for warranty work.
I got transferred to an advisor, I told her all the problems, when she started taking my Vin number the phone hung up. I called back and they said they would have someone call back. They didn't call back within 2 hours, so I called back and got another advisor.
All the problems except the first one (towing breaks module)I told them about got fixed. I'm basically going to have to pay the same deductable twice, because they claim I never mentioned it.
I'm not unhappy with the service crews or sales, but the bottom line is that I have to pay twice for the same problem, then have to make a total of 4 trips including cab rides.
If the mechanic and service crews weren't so quick and on point, I would have given a lower rating.

I got contacted by a another advisor about this issue. They decideded to give me a refund for the second visit, although it was not necessary.
That shows that this company is actively trying to work with customers who may be unhappy in one way or another. I appreciate that and am changing my review rating and for this reason. From 3 to 5 star

I needed to downsize from my truck to an SUV. I already had in my head certain things I wasn't going to budge on (mileage, trade-in, etc). Glen Faulkner listened to why I was downsizing. I told him what I was looking for and features I'd need. He found the perfect vehicle for me. The trade-in was not less than what I wanted for my truck and my new vehicle was right in my price range and had fewer miles than the mileage limit for which I had been willing to settle. If I ever need another vehicle, this is where I'll go. Buyers are treated with respect and professionalism--and it doesn't stop once you drive away.

I brought in my 2014 Ford F150 Supercrew for a oil change and as usual the service was wonderful. Staff are all courteous and helpful and prices are just great. I wouldn't trust anyone else like Ford for all my vehicles that's why I keep coming back.
On another note, my wife scheduled an oil change a week in advance for her Subaru. When she got there at her scheduled time they took along time to get to her and then realized they had to go to Subaru to get the supplies for her oil change. This made her visit terribly long at close to 3 hours for her oil change, and consequently, her survey will not be as good as mine. I hope Ford makes it right by her and provides a steep discount or a free oil change next time for her.

I purchased a used vehicle from Cal Worthington and I could not be happier. I have always been skeptical of car sales business's in general and have avoided purchasing one into my last vehicle died and my hand was forced. I approached young Eddy the salesman and told him exactly what we were looking for. He took us to the exact vehicles he knew met the criteria and didn't try to upsell me new vehicle and he was down to earth and honest about the vehicles, he was also upfront when he didn't know.
Juliano was super sharp and helped facilitate the paperwork. He pointed out some very useful information in the computer system and a cosmetic issue on the vehicle that I had not noticed. The only negative issue I had was checking in took for ever and I missed the opportunity to get on the shuttle to not be late to work. So I had to take an uber. Last time someone just gave me a ride that had the free time.

Getting a vehicle repaired or serviced can sometimes seem daunting. My experience with Kendall was anything but that. I took my Ranger in for brakes and a power steering problem. They repaired the power steering and replaced my front brakes (the rears didn't need replaced). During the test drive they diagnosed a problem I was unaware of, but had experienced the symptoms. Upon taking off from a stop, there would be a slight jerking as the transmission (automatic) shifted into 1st gear. The service department determined it was the rear differential and repaired that as well. Upon my drive home from Kendall, my Ranger felt like a new vehicle. It had been so long I'd been driving it with that little lurch it became normal. Now, with new brakes and a repaired transmission/ differential, i'm blessed with a much better ride. Thank You Kendall, and thanks to Jason Scott, who was my service rep. On top, the repairs were 200 dollars less than estimated. It's a great day!
