THIS is how car buying should be. Everything was very straight forward and simple. There aren't a bunch of sales guys chasing you around the lot trying to pressure you. Lots of inventory compared to other dealers in town and the pricing on their vehicles is more than fair. Jay was our sales and finance guy from beginning to end and my wife and I couldn't be happier with him. We let him know exactly which car we wanted to test drive and we were quickly on our way. He was very upfront and honest about everything. We let him know this purchase was meant to be a cheap, no-frills commuter car, and he respected that. This isn't your typical car sales process with all sorts of gimmicky shenanigans and back and forth playing hardball with a sales manager. The whole experience was quite the opposite. Jay was transparent, friendly, and easy to work with. It's great working with someone that seems like they are on your side to get you into the car you want instead of painting a sales target on your back. Other dealers should take note of this no pressure and honest approach. My wife and I will be returning for our next used car purchase. I will happily refer friends and family to Affordable Used Cars and Jay! Many thanks to the team there!

They were quick to chat and give me the keys for a test drive when I was ready though, which was perfect. I got a good deal on my truck as well, and the whole experience was relatively stress free. I've been searching for a Dodge Charger for weeks and wasn't having luck. I'm pretty busy with my job so I was mainly only able to text. Joey Domingo was the sales person I was paired up with and he was VERY flexible with me. While I was busy working Joey was doing the leg work for me. All I had to do was tell him what car I was interested in, submit their easy to fill out credit app online then show up when I had free time. Joey had the car already outside warmed up waiting for me. While I was out test driving the car (which had everything I was looking for and more!!!) Joey was inspecting my trade. I was in and out under an hour and was driving home with my dream car. If anyone is cautious about this dealer don't be. They are very specific about the vehicles they trade and sell and very friendly!! Joey if you are reading this thank you! You made my dream car a reality for me!!!

This was probably my best vehicle purchasing experience. I stopped in on a Sunday morning before the dealership opened and soon found the ideal vehicle. Selling my car to Affordable Used Cars was easy and comfortable. We negotiated a fair price, signed papers and was even givin a ride home. As part of the deal, my loan with the bank was to be paid off. Having called and given a 20 day pay out from my bank, i was assured it would not take the full 20 days for my bank to receive a check. Well, here we are, 19 business days later, and my bank has not received a payout. After another payment from myself, to keep my credit in good standing, and a few phone calls to Affordable i am assured my bank will receive the payout today or tomorrow. So as the numbers work, in stead of my receiving a extra few dollars for selling my car, i will get the payment i just made back. Matt was fair with the negotiations and giving me a price i could work with. The paperwork was easy and quick. But the accounting department, in Fairbanks Matt had said, was slow to follow thru with the deal. Added stress to my life i did not need.

I sold a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the process was seamless. Mr. Matt Raye worked with me. I got quotes from a few other places in Anchorage and online. Affordable Used Cars gave me the best price. When I was ready to sell, I probably spent less than 15 min there and walked out with my check. They handled paying off the remaining balance with my bank without any problems on that end. On a side note, the black Jeep is in great condition. If you are in the market for that, I recommend stopping there and checking it out.

They were highly recommended by almost ALL of my coworkers. They have a lot of vehicles in great condition for GREAT prices considering the prices I see everywhere else in town. I strongly recommend checking with them if you are looking for a car. They have a pretty good range of vehicles and are constantly getting fresh ones in. Don't let their low pressure sales fool you, they are extremely helpful, just go inside and ask. If you're looking at something on their website and want more info, just call them. I called them to ask about a car I saw on their website. They quickly sent me more information and sounded honestly glad to help, even though I didn't get that car. The next day I went to check out a different car. They were really flexible with the test drive and I was able to get a really good feel for the car. They let me bring it to get a pre-purchase inspection and helped me get more info about the cars history. At no point did I feel pressured to get the car, they were just there to help me with what I wanted to do, it was awesome. A shout-out to Joey, thanks for all your work and flexibility, you made getting a nice car really easy. And to everyone else there(including the lot attendants, reception and other non-sales staff), I could see the hard work that went on behind the scenes to make this place successful, thanks.

Great place to find a great vehicle at a great price! The staff is professional, honest, and friendly. I traded in a vehicle here (my salesman was Tom, a very friendly guy and he made the whole process very easy) and they offered top dollar for my trade in. I ended up driving off in a 2015 GMC Canyon that was just out of factory warranty. Within a couple days of owning the truck the electronic power steering cut out on me intermittently. I did some research and found that there was a recall on this year and model for my exact issue, but not for my trucks VIN (only a couple thousand were actually recalled). I've had similar experiences in the past and was told by a used car dealership to go trade my newly purchased vehicle in somewhere else, and got no help with my issues because it was sold "as is". I expected the same from any used car dealership, but that's not how Affordable Used cars does business! I reached out to Affordable about a question on my paperwork. I told them them in passing about my power steering issue, and to to my surprise they told me that they wanted to fix it! Again, this was an as is truck so I was very surprised to have them offer to fix the issue and make the truck right for me, even though they were not obligated to. They had me take it to their mechanic and had the power steering fixed on their dime. No issues since the fix, and they told me to let them know if it came back. If you are looking for a good used car and a no pressure dealership that will stand behind the quality of their vehicles, check this place out!
