Reviews of Wichita Point Campground
Love to roam around and find the spots off the beaten path.
Cheney lake is always wonderful and the people are nice. We can't wait to camp there.
This is a nice lake. Water very clear the days we were there. Been visiting Cheney Lake starting in early 1970's. Always a good time. Nice bait shop/marina with boat parts, camping gear, fuel, water toys, groceries, anything we need for the fifth wheel or boat. Lots of shallow lake edge so little one's can play in the water next to shore. Ranger's and everyone else working there always been great....
Beautiful and so peaceful. Absolutely loved it
I love going to Cheney! They have done so much work since the big flood.
Always my favorite place to go!!.
The flood water was so high that I could paddle my kayak in the camping area, in places where I used to park my car and between picnic tables in places where people used to camp. It was fun exploring the area and seeing it in a whole new way.
Cheney is awesome mon - fri 9500 acres of private lake people are rwally nissing a great summer.
A good place to go let your hair with friends and meet up with cousins.
Good camp sites. Clean camp grounds. Watch out for the market posts at each site.
I loved the waterfront camping. So serene and peaceful.
Beautiful area for camping. Camping prices are $13 the first night $10 each additional night.
Peaceful just settles me down. Realize I'm away from this crazy world
Nice spot to spend the day. Bring trash bags!
Fun place to go with the kids
Clean and fun!
The lake!
Nice area although water down much lower than normal due to drought
