Nice, paved trail in good condition. Not as much tree-cover as I would have preferred (shelter from summer sun), but I am sure to feel differently during the winter. :)

Quail Ridge is a great park and well known in the area. Several playgrounds and both paved and dirt trails. When our kids were younger they loved playing in the creek that borders the park. We recently started playing Disc Golf and loved this course. It is a nice hike in the woods while playing a game. It is a good workout at there are some up and owns the hill. We even had a spectator deer on one hole. There are some challenging holes through the trees but it makes it interesting.

Overall it’s a good park for casual walking or riding. It has some pretty-ish ponds and a dog park which are pluses. The downside is just that the the trails are kind of layed out strangely and they are completely unmarked with any kind of signage. You can pull your phone up to get a map but isn’t that a bit antithetical to walking in nature? Trails are all paved though and wide so that’s a plus. I think there are, or were, some disc golf holes on the northeast side of the park if you play but I’ve never done it here.

Gorgeous for hiking. There are miles of dirt and paved trail. Several playgrounds for the kiddies! There is also a banquet center, the horseshoe pitching hall of fame, and a disc golf course. Lots of pavilions, bring the hamburgers, hot dogs, and charcoal. Great open spaces for kite flying and pick up football games. Use your imagination!

This is a wonderful place to go if you want to go on a nature walk. It's even dog friendly too. You can either use the paved walking path or use the more rugged path to walk. It's also kid friendly too with a story along the trail. There are other activities you can do there as well, like fishing, or frisbee golf. So if you are looking for a nice get a way or just to have some fun and exercise this would be a great place to go.

BEST park in St. Charles County (and there are a lot of good ones)! Over two miles of paved paths through grassy areas and fields with wildflowers, along with additional wooded trails provide a pleasant experience for walking or biking. If you visit in the evening, you're likely to see a few rabbits or spot a deer. There are also well maintained picnic pavilions, outhouse facilities, playground areas and a dog park. Some people also enjoy fishing in one of several small ponds, playing the frisbee golf course or playing horseshoes. It's a beautiful park any naturelover will enjoy.

This park offers a lot. From scenic hiking trails. Ripping mountain bike action. Huge dog park (closed because of rona atm) Plenty of pavilions with bbq pits. Restrooms all of the paved areas. Probably the best ST Charles disc golf course! Fishing lakes and even a creek.

Gorgeous park with all kinds of people activities as well as what is by far the best dog park I’ve ever been to! Sections: Separate small and large dog areas. Gate: Double gated. Waste: Bags and bins provided. Grounds: Grass; Well maintained; minimal dog waste left on ground. Size: Large. Water: Provided. Features: Many trees within gated area. Seating: Covered seating area with benches. Bathrooms: Available but rustic.

There will be loads of frogs this year! Tons of tadpoles. On our hike we saw fish swimming in the clear creek water, turtles, 2 snakes, 1 hummingbird and lots of other common birds. Beautiful park for a hike on or off a paved trail.

So much to explore here! There's a lot of wildlife here and there's little information boards about whatever you may see in the area you're in. The dog park here is nice but isn't always open. Many trails, pavilions, and natural prairies make this park a wonderful space.

Great place to play disk golf, fly FPV and bring your dog. The fellow disk golfers are so friendly. My only complaint is they sometimes smell like skunk.. My dog made like 3 new dog girlfriends. I am unfortunately still single.

Boring, poorly-marked trail. A large portion of it is just a paved walkway through an open field. Not much in the way of nature, and not much shade either. When there was a legit trail through the woods, it was extremely poorly marked and seemed to be just a hodgepodge of disc golf holes. Would recommend other trails in the area over this one.

Super spacious, plenty of dogs to play with. Doggy bags available and handicap parking. Only issue I had was no water access at the park. The bathrooms and water fountains aren’t currently working 03/26/2022

Nice and the venue was perfect for the wedding. Just wish park patrons were a bit more respectful of the "reserved for private event" signs and didn't walk through the area even through but that's not on the park. If we had time we'd definately hit the trails with the family.

We like to exercise run and walk at Quail. Almost 3 miles paved trail, and wooded trails are all around. The Frisbee golf course is outstanding and lots of play areas for kids

It's a great place to get free and talk a walk outdoors. Nice walking trail and other different trails to walk on a beautiful day. Little parks for the kids to stop by during your walk and many pavilions for outside gatherings or parties. The main walking trail is about 2.5 miles and you can get some good exercise in about an hour walk

Very nice park with a something for everyone. Nice disc golf course with variation between open and wooded. Nice hiking trails through the woods that are not too strenuous and also some paved trails. The playgrounds should be good once they are open.

Nice park to go for a run or a walk , has a nice lake you can fish. Has a dog park here it's fenced in, and there are a lot of hills so you can get a good walk in or run. There is also a playground but I don't know if it's open yet for kids. There is also a few wedding venue areas located inside the park. Also a natural prairie. You will enjoy it

very nice disc golf course. good mix of tunnel shots and fields with scattered trees. lots of elevation changes. rocky hillsides. many 250 to 300 ft holes. not always obvious where the next hole is.

Quail Ridge is always a treat. Never overly packed, quiet, and great trails for those who just want a nice scenic stroll. Definitely recommend for nature enthusiasts, and landscape photographers.

Love the dog park- only issue is lack of water in the park... Be sure to bring your own bowl and water jug (there is a faucet located in the parking lot). Besides that, place is beautiful and a good safe walk. I'd walk alone or with other women. Almost all paths are wide and paved. Lots of garbage bins and poo baggy stations for fur buddies all along the trails.

The smell was very ripe today. Many holes from dogs digging. Really wish all dog owners picked up their dogs poop. Have to watch where stepping due to large piles. Maybe people can clean up after themselves or park look into helping it stay clean.

A really great park. 5 stars of driving through it wasn't so confusing. Hiking, fishing, disc golf, mountain biking, great pavilions and playgrounds. Even a decent-sized dog run area. Full of wildlife. Close to home.

Nice park, paved and mixed terrain trails for flat easy hiking or steep gravely climbs. Several trails wind along the creek with bluff views. Also has full 18 hole frisbee golf, multiple playground areas and an off leash dog area.

This is one of my favorite parks in the area. There are great hiking trails that traverse the park. A walking trail is available for a quick scenic workout. There is also a dog park as well as a couple lakes. For the kids, a few playgrounds are scattered throughout. Come here to read and feel the breeze, or throw a frisbee.

Wish there were more trail maps and the water fountains worked. My first time today and all of the parking lots looked the same. So there was no landmark save a traffic circle I passed. Saying mileage or shortcuts marked would help. otherwise, beautiful!!

Got a really great walking trail that is paved as approximately 3.2 miles the Horseshoe Hall of Fame is there . And if you're into frisbee golf, they have an excellent course. I remember going there before it was a park when It was a horse stables you can rent a horse and ride it around the property. I've had a lot of memories there and every time I go I leave with a smile and sometimes even a Sentimental tear.

St. Charles County Parks does a fabulous job maintaining the grounds, and facilities. The rest rooms are very clean. The Horse Shoe Hall of Fame is located on the grounds. An excellent place for a picnic with kids. Plenty of playgrounds on premise.

I only have it 4 stars because many of the drinking fountains arwmt working and both the drinking fountains and the water faucets have terrible tasting water. Some are better than others. Other than the water, this is a very nice park. Lots of prairie gardens. There is also a dog park, a few playgrounds, the horseshoe hall of fame, some pavilions, at least one pond, a creek, and an indoor event space to rent. I like where the flowers are labeled along the trail.

My child loves this park for the playground's. Good place to walk on paved trails. There wilderness trails are pretty good for hikeing. The disk gulf course is one of my favorite in the area.

Very nice well maintained park! Everything from picnics, dog park, disc golf, playgrounds, walking trails in woods and out on pavement. Horseshoe games indoors and a banquet building for events. Beautiful scenery throughout. Plenty of clean restroom(port a potty style cabin).

It's a great place to get out and go for a quick walk. There's a dog park, a playground, a disc golf course, and a few places to play horseshoes. You can also rent a gazebo for weddings.

This is a great park right here in Wentzville. It has the Horseshoe Pitching Museum, several playgrounds, hiking paths, a dog park, and a disk golf course. It is so beautiful, a great place for a picnic.

Big dog play area and small dog play area. If yr dog is timid, might not be best place. Alot of dogs when we're were there. Some of them aggressive. Some owners were not paying attention to their dogs. The overall Park is wonderful.

Concrete paths good to rollerblade on. Usually don't run into a lot of people. Good place to take your dog. Has frisbee golf and a few playgrounds for kids. Open sun up to 30 min after sunset. There is a banquet hall and they take old christmas trees. Prairies, some small lakes and a creek with some cliffs by the frisbee golf area.

Trail ridge is a sprawling park with beautiful walking trails, multiple playgrounds for children including handicap accessible, and a disc golf course. A great place to spend an afternoon.
