We rented a Medium van from Wandervans back in June 2020. I thought I already left this review but couldn't find it!
It was such a smooth and exciting experience! We had the van for 5 days and toured all around Yellowstone. The bed was very comfortable Queen sized. The pick up and drop off couldn't be any easier and we had everything we needed already in the van.
Now we have booked our second trip with the whole family and renting 2 Vans!
I can't wait!

My wife and I stayed in a medium van while visiting 4 of the "Mighty 5" national parks in southern Utah over 6 days in early August 2022. It was one of the best trips we have ever been on and it was thanks to Wandervans SLC, Utah. I have never given a company an online review before, but I felt Wandervans was exceptional and deserved praise. Any issue we had they were very helpful and kind. I truly think if you are considering a campervan trip this company is the best option. The van was great and meet all of our needs and the customer service was even better.

Van was great, modern and just what was needed. What made it was the collection. We arrived into Salt Lake City at 3am, so to be able to pick it up at that time and equally for dropping the van off again made the whole process so efficient. Would definitely recommend Wandervans and would use them again if I ever make it back this way again from Ireland. Maybe to finish off Yellowstone when it reopens. Thanks Wandervans.

We loved our van!!
My wife and I took a trip up to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. The van was so clutch! It drove super well on the highway and dirt roads. The fridge was a perfect way to keep a bunch of meals cold and the bed was super comfy. The small van was just the right size for the two of us and the checkout/check-in process could not have been easier.
Makes me want to get a camper van of my own!

Such a fun trip! Wandervans was great - before, during, and after the trip.
This kind experience was a stretch of my comfort zone, but I saw it as the best way with a combination of comfort and flexibility to see a number of parts of Utah. I went with a friend, so the the large van with two queen beds was ideal. The beds were very comfortable. We slept with the doors open and mosquito nets up.
The van drove well in a variety of conditions! Highway, up and down elevation, hot conditions.
I called the company several times before the trip to get ideas and help with booking details. Very receptive each time and answered questions that I didn’t even know I had.
A campervan is the best way to see Utah. Dispersed camping is plentiful and offers schedule and what to see flexibility. Wandervans is the best option for campervan rentals!

Our second 2 week trip with this company visiting National Parks. We are so happy with the process and the ease of using these vans. Coming in from the East Coast SLC airport is quite close for ease of transfer.
Highly recommend Wandervans. Our next trip is already in our minds to pick up in another of your locations Thank you and we are 60 so age does not matter 😊

Three of us spent a week driving through Southern Utah. There is no better way to experience nature than immersing yourself in it 24/7. Wandervan equipped us well for the experience. We especially like the provided screens so we could leave our back doors open while camping. I appreciated the quick and always pleasant communication with the staff. We drove well over 1000 miles and loved having our accommodations with us wherever we went. I hope we can do another trip soon!!

Had a wonderful experience in our Wandervan! We actually had 3 people sleep in the small van. Not that I would recommend it but it worked. Comfortable ride and gas mileage was around 19 mpg. We will certainly consider doing the Wandervan adventure again.

My wife and I rented a Wandervan at the end of May 2019 to take an epic trip to Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. We picked up our van after taking an Uber from the airport in Salt Lake City. The check out process was super convenient and they had included the sheets and kitchen kit that we asked for so we were ready to go.
The Wandervan we chose was the medium. I don't know for certain, but we may have gotten a Tall version because I was able to stand up and I'm 6ft. The van had plenty of room inside and the layout was clearly thought through. Where we picked up our van there was a bin that had stuff that other campers either couldn't take with them at the end of their journey or didn't use up. More on this later.
After picking up our van we headed to the grocery store to take advantage of the refrigerator in the van and have snacks for our journey as we didn't want to spend our time waiting on tables at restaurants in the parks. A quick 5 hours later we made it to our KOA campground on the Snake River right outside Grand Teton National Park. In about the same time you can get to it's neighbor - Yellowstone National Park.
We spent a full day Grand Teton National Park and honestly looking back wish we would've spent more time there. We stayed another 7 days in Yellowstone and ended up going back to Canyon and Lake Yellowstone which turned out to be really cool because when we first got there on May 27th the lake was frozen over and there was snow on the ground, but wasn't just a week later. It was like seeing two different seasons.
Taking the Wandervan everywhere we went was super-convenient because we didn't get stuck in one campground or have to spend a ton of time setting up or tearing down an RV. We simply drove to where we planned to stay and we stopped. No detaching a trailer or separate vehicle. We didn't encounter any areas in out journey that we couldn't drive it.
Another huge benefit of the Wandervan that we experienced is that we got to use tent sites at some campgrounds and saved $ that way. The privacy curtains were easy to put up and allowed us to get dressed out of the elements. One thing you'll want to plan around is showers. There is some hidden knowledge out there about showering at different lodges - Old Faithful Lodge is just one example.
Having two camp chairs, a foldable table, and grill was awesome. We love a good picnic, but there's something special about being out in nature and being able to enjoy some freshly grilled food with good company. We may have done that a few times. :)
As our journey came to an end, we traveled back to Salt Lake City and got ready to leave. :( Check-in was easy because they prepare you with instructions and there were no surprises on our final bill. We didn't end up using the bear spray that we bought just to be safe on our hikes and extra canisters of propane that we didn't use and ended up finding the bin where other campers put things that they thought others may use or couldn't take with them.
Overall the experience that we had with Wandervans was great! The communication was great and their experience empowered our adventure. Wandervans allows you to connect with nature while enjoying some of the luxuries from home. This trip exceeded our expectations and we'll certainly rent with Wandervans again.

We loved renting the large winter Wandervan for our family. From the moment we booked, the Wandervan folks answered all our questions. Checkout was super easy and they were extremely responsive when we had questions about the van during our trip. The van was equipped with everything we needed and even though the weather was cold, the diesel heater kept us toasty warm. The beds were super comfy and they had dark-out curtains and window shades. I highly recommend them!
