Reviews of Ten Mile River Greenway
Beautiful to walk, run or bike. Enjoy the peace and calm of nature. Lots of birds to see at this time.
my boyfriend and I ride our bikes on this path all the time. nice spots for some fall foliage
Nice and long trail with really pretty views. Great for kids and many people walk their dogs as well.
Lots of water views with ducks, seagulls, swans, and even a Banded Kingfisher
From Daggett Avenue ball field in Pawtucket to Kimberly Ann Rock Athletic Fields in East Providence it's just over six miles round trip.
On busy days can get crowded with bikes and walkers. But honestly rainy day or slightly cold day usually uncrowded.
Plenty of parking at both ends as well as in Slater park at about the midpoint or at the entrance just outside Slater Park on Armistice Boulevard in Pawtucket.
Great place to go for walk or a bike ride and nature seen
Great nature walk awesome experience very relaxing
This is nice place to walk. There are some dirt bike trails adjacent to the walking path which is kind of annoying, but I guess it's still okay. I'd go kayaking or canoeing here if I had one.
Amazing path, with lots of nature and water. Runs right through Slater Park too, for a playground break with the kids.
Love running and walking on this path. It is exactly 3 miles long from baseball field to baseball field (not a loop, 6 miles total if walking to one end and back). The path is relatively flat, mostly clear of debris, and well shaded so it's great to use in hot days. Keep an eye out for swans in the water!
Lots of bicyclists use the path as well so remember to stay in the left side for running/walking and right for biking. You will have to cross one street but people are good about letting you go and that area isn't too busy.
Its a nice bike path. There's a couple places where you can go off the path for mountain biking. The bike path is 3 miles one way. It makes for a good afternoon walk or even a morning run would be nice! Just make sure if you're walking/running you're on the left side and if you're cycling/skating you're on the right side. Also there's no restroom but there are porta potties. If you start at one end they're about in the middle (before the 2 mile mark) at this open park area. Overall 8/10 not a bad walk, rules of the trail could have been a little more clear/signs going both ways but what can you do 🤷
Such a nice place to paddle and lots of wildlife!
Beautiful area for hiking, biking, bird watching. 10 miles amd you cover so much terrain. There is a baseball field at the end and even a course for dirt bikes. Huge park right in the middle. Beautiful place must see and enjoy for yourself.
Grew up here... beautiful waterway between RI and Massachusetts..
Fantastic place, a little bit dirty but a good spot to get out into nature a bit
I bike this path often. It's not a long ride, but it is fairly smooth with just a few root bumps.
Very well maintained and my personal favorite bike path in RI despite the short 3 mile end to end distance. Always animals to see, a pond, cool bridges and stone walls, and only one intersection with a main road.
Really nice path adjacent to the Ten Mile River. It runs through Pinecrest, Darlington, and Rumford. Path is well maintained and has several entry/exit points. Makes for a nice and peaceful walk/ride. There's also a launch point for kayaks at the Rumford end.
Great walking and biking trail
Tends to be a bit crowded. Too many people walk dogs off leash and don't pick up after them. Pretty scenery just watch where you step.
Love love love. Great for relaxing and discovery!!!
Delightful walk along the river and through the park. The best part was finding the upper pond, which was filled with more swans than I've seen in one place (counted 12 scattered along the pond), other than the Hudson River, also beautiful green necked mallards. Wish we had bikes to traverse the entire path, altho we did see most of it. Nicely maintained
Great place for walking, riding, or skating! Level asphalt path surrounded by trees; makes you feel like you're in a forest when you're in the middle of a city.
Its a very nice bike path, with plenty of shade. There is a MTB single track there, which goes for about half the distance the normal trail goes. It also has a plad with a bunch of hills where you can go down really fast with your mtb.
This is great for biking or walking. It shaded enough that you don't get too hot in the summer. Please be safe though, and walk or ride with a buddy.
The paved Greenway is well maintained and plenty of parking. Great area for runners and cyclists. The hiking trail along the river could use some cleaning up.
We used to jog and bike here all the time. Good place to play Pokemon Go (two gyms) then jog those eggs off. If you pay attention, you'll see wildlife around you; swans are in the pond.
Wonderful paved walking/bike path. Plenty of woods and waterways. Very tranquil and clean. Great addition to your fitness routines.
It was my first time, it was a great walk- 3 miles each way for. The pathway is divided half for walkers and the other for bikers. It also has different hiking trails off the pathway. My new favorite place to walk!
I live near the path and regularly go on runs or walks with my dog. Everyone here is super friendly and it's always an enjoyable experience whether you're looking for a workout or a scenic stroll.
This bike path/walking path is luah with green trees and wild life. Dont worry none are dangerous. The length of the path its self i think is about 5 miles total but i could be wromg. It starts in Rumford at the Kimberly Rock complex and ends almost on the Pawtucket Attleboro line. The path is good for all sorts of people parents with kids as well as adults. In the summer there are lot if bugs but that shouldnt stop you from enjoying the path. There are always beautiful swans and ducks in the water. And there are squirels and chipmunks running around.
Great walking trails with varying terrain.
This is a really nice two mile blacktop walking and biking path connecting Kimberly Ann Rock Athletic Fields on the south to Slater Park on the north side. You can park your car here and pick up the start of the trail at the end of the parking lot.
Nice clean quite 3 mile bike path.
Very lovely area, paved. Well kept, even along next to the path. Dog friendly and great for biking! Will visit again!
Great place to go for a walk or bike ride. The path is 3 miles long. Most of the bike path is in the shade. Makes it nice when its a hot and sunny day.
Amazing views with relaxing walk
Scenic, paved, 3 mile long, bike/walking trail. Easy to get to. The southern and northern ends have plenty of parking when there isn't any games being played at the ball fields.
I think in the winter time it would be nice to have a toilet facility. My daughter and grandchildren we enjoy going there all year long and the wintry we even still have a little picnic occassionally
Beautiful, peaceful trail alongside the river. Plenty foliage and bird chirps. Mile markers to let you know distance. Would be nice to see some benches
Great pathway with some nice views. A bit smelly by the camping area. Mostly quiet areas
Great place to go for a walk, a bike ride, or a run. Kids friendly. It even has a dirt bike trail.
If you like to run, bike, or just want to walk and look at some good veiws. I would recommend the ten Mile greenway. Very calm relaxing place.
I was expecting to see a good landscape. And what I see was dirty river.
So nice lots of ducks and swans quite
Nice bike path took me and the boy about an hour to go back and forth with some stopping along the way
Plenty of shade a little short,it would be nice to have some benches at the Rumford end of the path. Otherwise love it !
It's a nice place to ride bikes on the bike trail or run in the woods or go fishing in the ten mile river.
Great for a bike ride or walking. Lots of shade, very well maintained.
Excellent spot with a very well made trail for walking, cycling with lovely views of the water
Nice path for walking, running, or riding. Unfortunately people are slobs and there is litter all over the place
Best place for walking biking fishing! I like to get a nice doink an walk thru the woods
Good place to just pass the time walk and bike
A great place ☺️ to go.
Nice shorter bike/walking path along the Ten Mile River that passes through Slayer Park.
Beautiful nature walk, so close to city life and yet feels so far away!
Awesome hiking area super nice bike path with seperate paths.
Nice and clean and the view is beautiful and quiet place for a walk in the park or a nice bicycle riding
Beautiful trail for walking, biking, roller blading. Stroller friendly. Bathrooms availible.
Well shaded trail with some off trail spots that reconnect eventually with the paved trail.
I love the outdoors and it's a very nice bike path
Great path with nice views. Needs year long bathroom access for the 5th star.
Local, beautiful park. Excellent (albeit short) bike path.
Great scenery to walk and enjoy your time off.
Good fishing big bass and good for kids
Simple bike bath with allot of scenery with trees, shade while riding, water, the park...👍 …
Been riding this almost everyday after work. Really nice but short greenway.
Lovely place for a morning or afternoon walk or run
OMG I LOVE THIS PLACE I GO HERE ALMOST EVERYDAY
Great location for a walk or a workout. All the better in beautiful weather.
Pleasant and safety it's enjoyable experience Bird sing and others blessings detail!
6 mile ride, 3 up 3 back very scenic with rolling hills .
Fun place
Nice walking path. Saw some otters, maybe beavers? Swimming in the river.
Been hiking back here for years and I love it
One of Pawtucket's hidden treasures!! Makes for an awesome nature walk in a beautiful setting♡♡
My family and I love to walk or biking, we recommend 100%
Very nice atmosphere. Nice paving. Loved the company!
Great place for quiet measured walks next to the water.
A beautiful place. For 4 stars because no trash barrels. Anywhere
It would be a lot better if it was actually 10 miles, and not 2.1 miles. I feel lied to.
Beautiful paved trail for walking and cycling!
Trails are good. Enjoyed walking the trails.
Gentle rolling path along lovely river, look for swan nests and turtles
Love this trail.
It’s not 10 miles... There’s probably some reason but the fact remains - it’s not 10 miles.
