Reviews of Fort Allen Park
Very beautiful area. If I wasn't there working (as a photographer) I could have sat there all day just watching the boats. It was extremely peaceful even with the crowd of people walking around.
What a beautiful place! Loved it. Lots of great trails and views of the water. We watched a yacht club training people which was very interesting to see. Great view of the fort. It was a perfect day, sunny and mid-70s. I would definitely go back. The house is along the promenade are magnificent
Nice place to see. My youngest son loved it. It was windy that day so we didn't stay long. But its pretty cool to know the history.
Had a small gathering here after our friends wedding. Breath taking view from the central gazebo. Definitely a nice place on a summer day and only a short walk from downtown. Amazing public place.
A beautiful, seaside park. Visited on an early evening in December and the fog was heavy. Portland is truly one of the most beautiful cities in New England
Very nice park. Has nice spaces and granite benches. Okay for limited-mobility. Better view if you can climb a sand dune
A spacious trail guides you through this wonderful outdoor venture. There is no shortage of scenic views and beautiful shots.
Super cool part of Portland I never knew about! So much history in this whole area, with commemorative plaques and actual pieces of the ships, artillery, and all sorts of other cool things.. definitely worth a stop by if you like historical facts and are a supporter of all those that came and served before us 🇺🇸🍻🇺🇸 …
I googled beautiful scenic views and I am very pleased I’m so happy I got a chance to catch this beautiful sunrise this morning I went around 6:18 am and caught it just as it was rising I’m going back to catch it soon as it peaks over I loved it
Nice spot by the water to relax for a bit and take in a beautiful scenic view. The path down below is close to the water and perfect for a before lunch / dinner walk.
Gorgeous views from this fantastic park. This is an amazing public space in a city that has a lot of them. I could have spent all day here. Bring a blanket or grab a bench, stroll along the Eastern Promenade, and soak in the beautiful scenic environment. We loved this park!
Great views of the harbor! Nice little hike, too!
Great walking/cycling trails; food trucks and green lawns for picnic. The park is border by good water views and water front property. Kayak, canoe rental available. Park was enjoyable even on this cool blustery day
Very nice park dedicated to the Portland war ship.
This is am amazing little fort. I have always been accustomed to seeing walls and stuff to keep people out. This appeared to me that the fort was based on land and building. Amazing place to spend a quick 15-20 minutes to get familiarize with the area.
What a lovely park! Beautiful views, free parking, walking trails, and recreation abound. You can see stunning homes along the promenade and there is a boat launch nearby. I also saw several food trucks.
Very nice park to walk and spend some time
Beautiful quintessential picturesque views with lots of benches and green space. You can walk or sit and just take in the ocean view. Bring a blanket and sit on the grass with a little picnic. There are hiking trails that go all around. In the evenings there is a community orchestra that plays chamber music. There are quite a few places to park all around. It gets chilly so bring a long sleeve something.
Nice walkable park. Great views of the ocean and sailboats
Amazing spot to chill out and admire the sunset!
BEAUTIFUL clean and serene place to visit for a stroll or a picnic. There is also a gazebo here that many come to take prom pics, wedding pics, etc. Also, there are some old war artifacts to educate, or simply enjoy the sights!
Absolutely gorgeous park!
This trail wraps around the coastal side of portland and connects the upper neighborhood and the walking path. It runs along a narrow railroad track (which is still in use during certain seasons). You can see Fort Allen out in the water and there us a memorial built on a hill along the path. Check it out. Dog friendly.
What a beautiful spot to walk, sit, write, read picnic, sit with friends and your dog and watch the boats in the picturesque harbor area! I look forward to revisiting this spot with a great book and my camera.
So beautiful to look out at the other forts and the little posts they had were so informative can't wait to go back when it isn't snowing!
We went in winter so it it was a crisp wall with hands in pockets. Views of the inner islands of Cadco Bay near Portland, one with an old fort on it.
You can start at the cliff/hill top and walk down to the boat ramp car park then wander the shoreline on the rocket beach, or follow the shared oath around to the bottom of the hill before walking through sailing/boat yards or back up the hill via steps.
Cute place! Really beautiful! Lots of street parking but it fills up quickly. It’s a good spot to soak up the views of the harbor on the East Promenade side! There’s a nearby local park that’s also worth visiting. June 2022 had a lot of construction going on. Be mindful while driving around. Enjoy!
Beautiful small beach with kayak hire
It's a beautiful area no matter the season. There's a gazebo and benches you can use to sit and take in the view of Casco Bay or paths to walk and stairs that bring you down to the water. Monuments to check out and even a nearby steam train you can ride in the summer. Great place to watch the sunrise or sunset
Went to this park before our visit at the Portland Observatory. Great scenery.
Great place huge and beautiful views
Beautiful scenery and free parking. What more one could ask for?
Wonderful 20 min stop.
Great spot to have lunch. Lots of picnic benches around, grass for blankets, and some picnic tables. Beautiful views of the Casco Bay.
Great views. A little climb up from the main trail.
Very pretty place to run/walk..nice paved pathway along the port. Very historic area.
Came to this park to eat our lobster rolls from Becky's Diner because the wait for indoor dining there was too long for our mood at the time.
Ate our al fresco lunch in the gazebo and the view was great (pic).
The park looked like it had more fun diversions to enjoy which I want to explore during our next visit.
I totally loved our walk along the walking path that continues over to Baxter Boulevard. So many gorgeous Sights n things to do! Boat launch. Kayak n Boat Rentals. Panoramic View of Casco Bay n the Islands. Marinas on the path with Food Trucks n seating ... Drinks. Along the Street there are many Food Trucks with many options. Basketball, Tennis Courts, a play ground n plenty of parking. Very nice place for everyone.
The eastern promenade is amazing! Worth the visit to Portlands “central park”. Great place to relax and overlook the bay.
Beautiful little park, well suited Amenities for kids and cool monuments. The best part is easily the walk to the shell beach area. By far a good stop in the Portland area.
Beautiful Harborside park for walking, looking down on boats and the water. Lots of people absorbed easily by the space available. It's a great place for an in-the-city walk!
Wonderful park with an absolute stunning Gazebo overlooking the ocean! I really appreciated the monument commemorating the fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives responding on 9/11/2001. Thank you and May they rest in peace... ✝️🇺🇸❤️ …
Very nice place and a must to see. Friendly people walking around. Got some bird pictures there.
Love the steep shaded stairway from the park to the walkway below. Have met interesting people while sitting on the curved stone wall at about the 1/2 way point.
Very nice park over looking the bay. No public restrooms, several interesting monuments. Bring a light jacket, wind off the bay can have a chill. Watch for doggie land mine and know dogs are allowed off leash.
Absolutely a nice place to visit when you are in Portland, it is close to the downtown. Easy to find a free parking. Has a gazebo and benches to sit down and enjoy the view. Also nice place to walk along the water. Close to a public restroom. Great View and clean area.
Really nice view of Fort Gorges, islands, boats, springpoint and bug lighthouses. Great area to walk around or sit by the water, plenty of open benches.
Nice historial place. Beautiful views! Play park for kids and adults with swings, slides, basketball and tennis courts, walking trails, kayak rentals and lessons all within walking distance of this park.
A beautiful scenic walking trail with war memorials, picnic areas, a playground, and dog friendly.
A nice place to sit and enjoy the view from the promontory, or exercise your dog! Waste bags and disposal containers are available near the gate
Eastern promenade in Portland is a gem of a park. Extensive recreation options and trails with great views of the harbor Islands.
Beautiful oceanside park with sometimes food trucks and always amazing views!!
Great place to take a walk with friends/family or sit on one of the many benches around the park. Great memorial to the USS Portland.
We visited Fort Allen Park and and the surrounding park/beach areas before leaving Portland, Maine. Fort Allen Park’s history is interesting and the area is cozy and a nice place for a picnic and to relax before a long drive back to Boston. We found parking on the street very easily, but signs were posted for July 4th and 5th that the street parking would be blocked for the holiday. So keep that in mind if you’re visiting during the Fourth of July. — July 2019
Peaceful patch of nature and history along with a lovely view of the water.
Great place to sit and relax while watching the sail boats. There are plenty of little paths to the rocky shore as well as plenty of benches to sit and stare off at the sea.
Beautiful park that has great views of Portland here. Plus if your into history they have several great signs that will share some fun history of the area.
Nice place to walk around and amazing views
Great over look of the bay and Great historical information.
Took a nice walk along the shore, the trail is nice. Opportunity to kayak, with rental company available on site. Picnic tables available all along the trail as well as benches to take in the view. The right side of trail has stairs so if you have a stroller be prepared, but the left side of the trail is stroller/wheel chair friendly. These sides are determined as you are looking at the ocean. Restrooms available, small beach/swim area. Fishing area off the rocks. View of the cruise ship if it is in port. Free parking and dog friendly.
Beautiful views, lots of grass, plenty of benches and the food trucks visit
Nice place to get out exercise and breathe fresh air.
Beautiful park, the views are amazing!
Beautiful seaside park with a cute rail and a wonderful bike trail.
Nice park over looking the harbor. Great views, some marine paraphernalia. Train was driving around, people sun bathing, walking dogs on and off leash. Largish play ground near one end. Fishing and beach access
We stayed a short time bc we did not know to take a bathroom stop first. Nearest port-a-pot was on the very busy playground further down on the promenade. Saying this, so you come prepared, bc I would happily have spent a couple more hours here. Will be back. Peaceful. Beautiful view. Good parking options. Great kid and picnic place with both nice sidewalk and trail options - although those are definitely not accessible by wheelchair - the outlooks off of the parking lot are, so still a great shorter stop if you aren't walking it OR need a potty stop 😉.
It seems the food trucks set up down the way at the playground, on a summer weekend anyway, on the promenade. You could park here and walk that way, if you are up for a bit of a walk.
Beautiful park with a well kept path that goes right beside the water. You can take it all the way into downtown.
Beautiful and gorgeous views with lots of historical information. Nice and easy walks
Not much parking available during Peak months, but it's a relaxing place to be and enjoy a bit of history by the water
This is such a nice place to go. I especially like it here in the fall
Stunning views! Some care could be given to the landscape to remove broken glass on the walkways and trash on the ground.
Nice park that sits above the harbor. Great views. You can see the Bug Light and Spring Point Ledge lighthouse from the park as well.
Nice place to visit during our walk. Well maintained gardens.
Great place to watch full moon rise. These photos are the Strawberry moon rise in June.
It's very nice park with some great views.
Very pleasant walking area sites were very interesting learned alot of history
Great quiet park on the water, take a break relax, have a picnic, sit or play in the grass, great views of the water and there's parking.
Great spot! Picnic tables and walking trails. Good spot for a picnic.
Always a beautiful day to visit the harbor
Use to live across the street from the park and loved taking my dog there in the morning for "a quickie." Probably had the best view of the bay on the East End in my opinion. Summertime these days it's a bit of a scene these days and too much for me when I go back to Portland to visit.
Nice place to sit, relax and enjoy the harbor activity.
Nice park near downtown Portland with beautiful views of the harbor.
Nice place fir a quick stop to just enjoy the view. Bathrooms are available.
I really enjoyed the view from the gazebo! We watched a sail boat class (lots of individual sail boats) which was interesting! The only thing that I didn't like was I couldn't find a restroom (public or private)! The weather was very nice!
Free to visit and to park. This is one of my favorite spots to visit in Portland. Take in the view of the harbour. Watch the boat traffic from the comfort of your car, or hop out and go for a walk along the water front.
There is a large gazebo in the park, it servers well to enjoy the views in the shade. If you are in this park and need a restroom walk or drive over to the nearby boat landing, which has a public bathroom.
I imagine watching the sunrise from this park would be lovely and the ocean and views of the island would add to the depth of color.
Clean and nice lawn and beautiful view. Good for dogs and family
Nice open space with benches, great views, and beautiful grassy areas to relax on. Bring your cooler and take in the ocean breeze!
A quiet, laid back place to walk along the coast. The historical placards are quite interesting too. Onee word of slight caution - there are seagulls. Lits of seagulls. If youre going to eat food, dont leave it unattended. In terms of space, there are very few people and lots of both park and beach.
Nice park to walk. Nice memorial for the USS PORTLAND and the USS MAINE.
A bit of an overcast but the view is amazing it's been seven years
Great historical place for a little day trip..
Nice place to walk, ride and people watch.
Very nice public park. Happened to go on a Thursday when they had live music playing. Was a nice surprise when we got to the park.
I am a local resident, but hadn't walked in this area in years. I was delighted to find that development has enhance the beauty and accessibility. Don't deprive yourself, enjoy today.
Gorgeous! Limited parking (fyi), sand is coarse, and water is cold. All in all, wonderful park.
Great place to view Portland harbor. Watch boats and ships arrive and depart the harbor. great view.Walking trails. Don't forget your camera!
Excellent place to watch the moon and sun rise.
Fantastic walk. Great views.
Beautifully kept, and a great place for a little history and reflection on people who made the ultimate sacrifice for this country.
Beautiful views, plenty of people having fun, and food trucks with very decent although somewhat expensive food. Honestly not bad for food truck meals. Eating lunch while watching the boats come and go from the harbor! Great place to take the kids for an afternoon.
OK not much there but the cannons. Great views be glad when they finish the road construction
Every direction you look is like a post card. "Greetings from Portland!"
Very picturesque.
Beautiful scenery. Awesome Trail.
Exceptional view. Pleasant walk from Downtown Old-Port. Options for coffee and fresh baked goods along the way.
Beautiful place with an incredible view!
Beautiful spot for walking, sitting on the many benches, or lounging on the grass. Food trucks and other food nearby.
Great view, plenty of benches, good spot to walk your dog.
Nice views. Pretty park. Food trucks when we were here. If we lived in the area it would be a regular spot for us
Lovely views of the ocean with a walking trail and grassy hillside to relax and enjoy the sailboats and ferry boats.
So cute and pretty! The mini train is adorable.
Its a beautiful place for a great view even in the winter
Beautiful lookouts and great plaques to let you know what your looking at.
Old school fish fry with good fried onions, red chowder and Cole slaw
Absolutely breathtaking place.
I actually had my wedding pictures done here. This is a great place on the eastern promenade where you can walk down to a beach or just enjoy the sights of Portland's Bay area.
On the east end of Portland. Beautiful scenic views. A must!
Pretty spot to walk and relax even in the Winter months!
This is a great place to come and walk around and enjoy the weather on a nice day. There is ample parking available and plenty of various walking paths and benches. Bonus, while we were here an ice cream truck came by!
Beautiful
Nice spot to see the coastline of the city, with sail boats and islands off the coast of Portland.
Beautiful well manicured park with an awesome trail system.
Really pretty place lots of people walking around laying in the grass studying, your typical recreational park just with cannons 😅
Good for a quick stop. Great views.
Beautiful place to see the sunrise and get fresh air. Plenty of space to walk and enjoy views of the ocean water nearby lighthouses and forts. There's a bandstand and the narrow gauge railroad runs around the edge next to the walkway.
It's really fun and it's has benches where you can sit and relax. Your able to see the ocean. . Beautiful view. It's a trail enough to go on the other side to get closer to the ocean. There's a walk way. Enjoy the walk and view
Absolutely beautiful views of Casco Bay
Beautiful views everywhere you look. Nice overlook near the gazebo. The walkway is handicap accessible from the boat launch area. There is a dog friendly beach area near the boat launch too. Free parking. Kayaks are available for rent.
Beautiful park! Beautiful scenery!
Great stop for some brief history, short walks and killing time.
Beautiful overlook park. Wide view of the bay and moorage.
The most beautiful views in Portland without a doubt! No matter the time of year, it is beautiful. Great place to sit and eat your lunch or go just to take in the beauty of Portland.
Great views from this park. Various walking trails and ample parking.
Beautiful views of the harbor, informative placards, and a beautiful breeze.
A great place to picnic and socialize with great views.
Great place to look out over Casco Bay. Tonight you'll see the full Moon Rising over Peaks Island. I take that back. It'll be cloudy. Sometimes they have free concerts there!
Very nice walking trail. Clean, safe. Will be. Back
You can realize the size of a army ship and learn pretty much of history. Respect for the fallen.
Gorgeous view with plenty of parking space. I highly recommend going for a stroll down the bike trail and watching the ocean. The waves ripple in such a unique and tranquil way that when leaving the park, I felt as though I was basically a zen master. Oh, and the cannons are great. Just please don't touch them. I saw someone spit chew on one before I departed. Gross city. 😨
Beautiful, perfect walking area. Decided to propose to my fiance!! He proposed to me last year and I wanted to show him how fantastic it feels.
Scenic park. Historically significant monuments
Great place to view the fort gorges and cascobay.. #atopofportland
Gorgeous views and a lovely park.
Such an amazing location!!! There are several historical items and a couple of gorgeous memorials. There is a large amount of space for people to lounge in the sun and enjoy the view of the ocean and boats. I could easily spend a whole day here. There is limited parking on busy days but plenty of nearby places to park and walk. The park itself is on top of a hill however the trails wind slowly down to the ocean and Eastern Promenade Trl. The only down side is it is difficult for wheelchairs. Definitely going back!
Nice, well maintained park and walkway along the shore. Plenty of places to sit. Notable that bench pads accommodate both bench and wheelchair space.
Really beautiful view. Food trucks inedible the street. The only thing I didn't see were restrooms, otherwise a nice place to walk, relax or play.
Always a nice place to walk around
Nice Park with some great ocean views
Beautiful place to sit and look at the water. Any time of the day but especially around dusk. People were polite and saw a couple different groups of people in different areas in little groups and still able to practice safe social distancing guidelines.
I liked the park a lot. The views were amazing. The paths were very nice for walking. Families were having picnics and dogs were running around. It's just a great place to go to relax and enjoy nature near the city.
Quiet little place. Very peaceful. The sunset looks gorgeous here and plenty of fresh air.
We went to a recovery black balloon celebration today. It was a beautiful day
Fort Allen Park is a place to go to enjoy walking, swimming, boating ect..this park is surrounded by the beautiful Casco Bay, and breathing the ocean air is good for the soul . This park is also known as the Eastern Prom.
Great place to walk your dog and enjoy a picnic with the family always loved it here.
Beautiful, well taken landscape and plenty of boats on the water to view. Awesome views during the sunset and evening hours.
Plenty of parking. Not a lot of shade so don't forget the sunscreen. A great place to bring a chair and watch the water. Easy access to the Eastern Promenade Trail, and a short walk to East End Beach and Commercial Street.
Beautiful views of Casco Bay. Memorialized devotion to those who served.
Always enjoy this walk with my daughter in the evening it's peaceful for the most part, some loud kids in there twenties every now and then but he's there trying to cool off too!!! Love watching all the boats!!!
Love this spot. Great place for a picnic and soaking up the views. Imagination of tall mask ships in Casco bay....
Great view!
Almost a breathtaking view of the harbor. Good walkways very clean. A near perfect location. I mean it was impressive to see the boats and ships and monuments to naval personnel. Glad we found it.
There is not a fort here any longer but a nice park with comfortable benches. There are cannons in place and some literature about the fort. It is very well maintained. I really enjoyed the view as well. Casco Bay is breath taking.
This place is very conducive for walking ,skateboarding, cycling etc .There are 2 seperate trails, one for walking along the contours of the coast and a paved road for cycling etc. The temperature is pretty cool around this time. This location is win win situation for outdoor activities.
A day out with family... Friends,
All around beautiful!
Play field games, walk , ride bikes. Have a party or a wedding 💙
Fresh air, blue sky, make it what you want! Also great for family photos and photography. Watch boats, take in the fresh air!
Great day out if your not looking for the Bling. Win win
Nice bay side trail
A nice historic place to visit in Portland.
Nice park dedicated to the use portland.
Great views from the eastern side of the city. Spots to sit and look out over the ocean and boats.
Nice park not big to something to walk through Read some history. you can divert off the main path that follows the water to take a quick look
Beautiful park. We had a picnic here around sunset and the fog came in. It was magical and beautiful.
Perfect spot to sit and think with coffee and a pastry, or just a quiet pause outside the old port hustle and bustle.
Great views. Walkable to all the fun stuff in Portland downtown.
Pretty views, the gazebo is a nice shaded area that gets a cross breeze. Sundays there are food trucks just down the street on the Eastern Prom.
The Eastern Prom is a little gem of a park, at the Eastern end of Munjoy Hill in Portland, overlooking Casco Bay. It's open to all, a nice place to sit, picnic (there are food trucks in warmer months), take a walk or run on the trail that runs along the shore, or even walk into Portland's Old Port (Standard Bakety, yay!). There's a mini beach for brave swimmers and dog owners. There's no fee, it's free for all. We went there often over the COVID months for walks, a lifesaver.
There is a beautiful spot overlooking the Casco Bay I'm beautiful tribute to the USS Portland
Beautiful park that contains a nice monument that honors those who fought and died in the Arctic Campaign of World War II. Both Americans and Russians. The view is very pretty and the monument has actual parts from ships that fought in the war.
Beautiful park and the views amazing, really happy we stop here. Is not so big but is pet friendly the neighborhood is beautiful.
Stopped at the park on The Firetruck Tour. Lovely place and we will be back.
Dog friendly, people friendly, clean park.
Beautiful night hanging out. We listened to the musicians playing while we walked the dog. So many dogs in this area. It's pretty nice spot for dog lovers. There is a dog friendly beach near by also.
Lots of free parking.
We grabbed food from vending trucks but not all the food was fresh. Got some food poisoning going on from the blt truck.
Also a lot of unsupervised kids under 5 climbing on the cannons making everyone watching hold their breath.
The vistas are awesome, including the sail boat races, schooners and the giant fog bank just off shore. So relaxing and that doesn't even include the perfect setting for the wedding going on.
It was nice from what it was. The interpretive signs really helped us get a feel for the importance of the area to u.s. history. There wasn't very much here, however. But we definitely appreciated the water fountains.
We went on July 4 weekend and they had fireworks. It was beautiful! Wonderful park at the end of quaint streets lined with beautiful homes.
Beautiful park
Love this place, so peaceful and the ocean is beautiful, nice big field to play or picnic tables to enjoy a nice bite to eat. Beautiful views of the old fort
A whole other side to God's creation. I had a blast climbing rocks with my sister and Mom. To top it off there was a food truck and local artist
Offers one of the finest vistas of inner Casco Bay viewed from the peninsula. Bring binoculars for close ups of Bug Light, Spring Point, Fort Gorges, the islands, sailboats, ferries, and cruise ships. Sometimes the parking spots are filled with sightseers who typically don't linger long. The park's bandstand hosts summer concerts. A stone stairway connects to the east end trail.
Great little spot worth the walk out if you're close for the view and interesting monuments.
Such a beautiful view❤ And quite peaceful. Awesome spot for a picnic.
Lovely place for a walk, wonderful views and vibes.
So so gorgeous. Views are incredible. Quiet. Peaceful. Dog friendly!
Rest stop on route 1. Does the job. Adequate bathrooms. Picnic tables. Don't drink the water. Rest rooms only open during the summer and it is not plowed during the winter. No other amenities.
Beautiful! Peaceful! Other people enjoying the park were polite and considerate. Love the view.
I was a photographer for a wedding here this past weekend. It was so beautiful.
The food was excellent. The staff was friendly. I had the seafood chowder and Haddock sandwich. It was excellent. The prices were reasonable as well. I would recommend this place to family and friends.
Love stopping at this place and just watching the ships go through the channel. Brings back a ton of memories from my childhood. Used to watch my dad go out to Sea with my mom.
Nice place to walk or run. Has food trucks out there and it's a variety of them at the time I went. Nice and clean as well
Absolutely beautiful and great walkability.
Beautiful spot in Portland to take in the views of Casco Bay. Very nice WW II Memorial and 9/11 Remembrance to those who served bravely. Walk further along the Eastern Prominade to a great playground for the kids to play.
Best part of Portland. The Eastern Prom.
The day we visited it was raining. There is nice view of ocean. Spend 15-20 minutes is perfect for this place.
Loved the place. Visited in August.. was slightly chilly.. need jackets.. nice place to bike and kayak!
Had my wedding here back in 2002..
Fort Allen Park is a nice stretch of a park along the water along the old narrow gauge rail lines. The path is well maintained and great for running, walking, or cycling. As you round the promontory, you get some really nice views of Casco Bay. The beach is also nice, especially for dogs. The hill up to Marjan from here is very nice, and a great place to sit with a picnic with great views.
Great weekend vacation spot!
A beautiful overlook of Casco Bay. Just sit. Relax and soak up the sun and the view or walk along the walking path.
Awesome trails. Beautiful scenery and atmosphere on a lovely day.
love this place I bike there all the time
This is a neat little park in downtown Portland for good views and some historical values. Be sure to take the steps down to the water and see the small train tracks.
Beautiful view. Trails to walk on. Lots of grassy yards for picnics.
Beautiful scenery of the coastline!!!
Kids loved exploring around and watching the boats sail by. Lovely view. Great for a picnic.
Best views , great walking area . Beware the porta potties not kept clean
Nice space to walk or sit with spectacular views of the bay. Lots of history here as well.
Amazing panoramic views. Ample seating, well kept grass. Easy to find car parking. Dog friendly.
So beautiful and peaceful.
This is the beach in Portland with sea shells i! East End Beach is beautiful, picturesque, breezy. Lots of walking to hike down the hill to get to the beach.
Great views and not crowded. Good place to sit and relax. The house's in the area are beautiful historic mansions.
