Wow - Green Lane Park was gorgeous on my hike this afternoon. I did parts of three trails - the orange, the red and the green. They have maps at different stops show all the trails. There is a 2 mile loop around the lake at the Park, and the trails go around the reservoir. The views were stunning, and the trails were AWESOME.

Went with a friend for a bike ride. I had been here years ago for biking, but hadn’t been back since. Don’t know why, since it’s only a 30 minute car ride for me. Started late in the day, but so beautiful I know I’ll be back! Parked in the lot across the street from the entrance to the lot where the Park Office is located. The lot is called the Orange Trail lot because that’s where you can access that trail, but it’s also where you can access the Perkiomen Trail. Either lot is fine, but if you want to use the restrooms then park at the lot where the Park Office is located, which is across the street from the Orange Trail parking lot. Picked up park pamphlets and spoke with a very nice park employee at the office to get better information. Determined that the unpaved, natural surface trails which are color coded (blue trail, orange trail etc.) are better for walking. The Perkiomen Trail is best for biking. Came to bike so we took that trail. The entrance to that trail is down Perkiomen Road a few hundred feet from the Orange trail parking lot. Once on the trail, everything is very well marked. You are riding for short distances quite a bit, especially in the beginning, on main roads. Beautiful trail, met other cyclists, walkers with and without dogs and some horseback riders so watch out for piles of horse poop on the trail! Nice wide trails for biking, gorgeous views especially in the fall with leaves changing colors.

Favorite park. Always clean, well taken care of. Kid friendly. 2 nice playgrounds. Park is dog friendly. You can bring your own boat and fish. Beautiful scenery. Rangers Ari and Danni very personable and knowledgeable of my questions about park.

Beautiful park. Lots of trails, reservoir for fishing, boating, Kayaking. Many different Events held; concerts performed in their amphitheater during summer as well as outdoor movies played on big projection screen with big, loud speakers, a lodge to book for parties, birthdays, gatherings, etc. disc golf. Park rangers are very nice and helpful. Campground open from May 1- November 1.

Love the orange trail! But don't go after it's been really rainy. Or go with shoes you don't mind getting muddy. Our dog loves when its muddy lol. When it's dry, it's the perfect light hike. Not difficult, but more interesting that flat trails.

Great trail for a short (40 minutes) hike that is relatively flat. There is some mud and rocks so be mindful of that. Took my dog for a walk and it was perfect for a quick adventure.

Green Lane Park is truly beautiful. I only used the Disc Golf Course but the views throughout the course were incredible. I would like to come back and use more of the park amenities.

My friends and I love green lane park to run our tiny trucks (orange trail). Wish we could run our fast RC boats in the lake across the road but park service sais we cant. Why i don't know. We get alot of spectators to enjoy the show. They love it.

Went on a rainy day. We pretty much had the trail to ourselves. Nice trail with the great natural beauty of the woods. Seemed well maintained. Evidence of horses being there recently.

Love this park. The trails are very peaceful with nice water views. The play area is pretty clean. The park also has a pavilion to host parties. Ps: They do have a permanent restroom structure on one side of the lake but the other side has a portable restrooms.

It's really green and nice. Been there so many times. Last week we arranged picnic there. Had lots of fun. Also it's a great place for fishing too. My husband go there for fishing very often. Really nice park for picnic, fishing and sight seeing.

Love this place. Come over and give this place a try. Hiking, site seeing, events, great fishing ( carp, bass, crappie, sunfish, suckers, perch, trout both brown and rainbow, catfish of multiple varieties, small mouth, muskie...... The community is wonderful. Please no smoking in the park!!!!!

Had my nephews graduation party here. Plenty of room. Younger kids could play on the equipment and the older kids ran around playing ball. Beautiful area.

This trail is nice because it takes you away from folks for the most part, most of the trail is relatively easy going but please be aware that this trail does have some mild to moderate rocks where if your ankles aren't in great shape you may want to move slow for safety's sake.

This park is a great place to take the family, or spend a day with friends. You can go fishing, kayaking, and other stuff. There is a nice playground area for the children and open areas to play. There are lots of trails for biking, walking, and riding horses. The trails vary in difficulty and elevation so you can have a range of intensity on the hiking trail.

We go here often with our dog. We park on the other side where the tennis courts are and walk across the bridge to sit on a bench the by the water. Yesterday, being a weekday, there were not a lot of people there. We saw a few fishermen and a few folks like ourselves just relaxing on a beautiful afternoon. We have been there when its very crowded, especially weekends as they have a nice campground area. There are often many people kayaking on the lake.

Visited Green Lake Park and walked trails around Green Lake. The park has plenty of parking, miles of trails and a variety of family friendly things to do. The information stations were stocked with maps, park brochures and event calendars. The park was well maintained. Trails were gravel or paved and easy to traverse.

I've watched this park change so much in the past 30-40 years. Though the hiking trails are not what they use to be, and the camping seems smaller, it's still a magical and wonderful place. Free concerts are the best!

Beautiful quiet Park and even walkable after fresh snow... This is the only place that was plowed on both sides of deep Creek the day after the snowstorm.. other parking lots were full of snow as were the trails...quite still and Majestic to see a lake completely covered in ice and snow not a single visual interruption of vast whiteness everywhere you look! Very personable Ranger BJ always very helpful. Real bathrooms on both sides of the lake. dark enough parking lot to stargaze and full permission to do so with 24-hour access near the ranger station side.

My spouse & I stopped at Green Lane quite by accident, this past Saturday. We were coming from a Graduation Party & took a wrong turn going home & wound up here! So glad we did! Spent about 2 hours just walking trails & enjoying the fresh air! Next time I want to rent kayaks & B-B-Q!

Not bad at all for the price, showers were warm park rangers were very friendly. A few toilets were clogged but that's pretty par for the course in a campground. They kept the facilities clean and service. Fishing was fun but way too crowded with people. It's nice cheap getaway close to home for a family

Loved this trail. Hard enough to make me feel like I was working a little but easy enough to tackle without much trouble. Check it out! Pretty heavily wooded area. If you bring you dog he will have tons of little critters to chase!

Fun trail to go biking on. There is one section that is all hill, and going down it on a bike is really fun. The view of the reservoir is also very scenic getting to see the water and the beautiful trees surrounding the reservoir. I love going when the weather is nice and hope to go again soon.

Green Lane is among my favorite local parks. The woods, the meadows, the wonderful trails, the river, and the lakes make for a diverse natural environment that we all can enjoy. I wish some people would be more respectful to nature. I understand people like to have a good time, but I like the sounds of nature better than the sound of music cranked up on portable music systems. I have no issue with the styles of the music; to each there own... I just like the sounds of nature better...

Come see the deer and Eagles and plenty of wildlife and enjoy the family friendly park. Picnic tables and grills, camping area and tennis courts, playgrounds and nature and craft classes. Something for everyone at a great park.

I rented the deep creek pavilion for my husbands 40th birthday and it was great. We kept the two large doors open but also had the fire lit. It was cozy and very outdoorsy. I used very little decorations because it seemed better to be to keep it very organic. The picnic tables are great! They also provided two long tables (for these you might want tablecloths) for food, drinks, etc. It was also nice that for an additional fee I was able to purchase a permit for alcohol. Everyone person I was in contact with from booking it to to ranger that was there that day, were all awesome! Very quick to respond and extremely pleasant to deal with.

Beautiful park! Well maintained, lots of family activities and great fishing. If you are looking to have your kid get excited to catch their first fish this is the place. The little ones just bite all the time. Oh, yeah use worms. You can buy them in the park at rangers station.

What a fantastic area. Bikes, hikers, horses, dogs (on leash), playgrounds, boat rentals, picnic areas, camping, pavilion rentals, many trails, and bathrooms. First time there and took red trail. Hopefully many more adventures there to come. Bravo Montgomery county!

Lovely trail. Paths along the waterways are well kept. A lot of the trails are full sun so be sure to check the UV Index and take sunscreen with you. Bathrooms are accessible at any of the car parks, which are spaced out but not at great distances. You can find some vending machines in the parking lots as well if you forgot to bring snacks. Pack bug spray for your feet and legs, but the bugs aren't as annoying as you'd think.

It's beautiful park you can enjoy. If you plan to use your own boat you have to go there before season start as the end of March. They will hold your boat or kayak for 10 days for safety reason. But you can go down lower lake any times.

This is a really nice trail, you're constantly walking under trees so the sun won't bother you. You can also ride your bike, bring your dog, or just take a simple walk. Watch your ankles though because there are a lot of rocks and logs along the path. The trail is not too long either and it's well marked so you won't get lost.

Great place for a good walk and fresh air. Full of life with animals everwhere. Great for boating which you can rent, fish, hike, horseback, walk animals and bike. Perfect for an evening stroll, a challenging hike through a couple of hard trails or a day for a picnic.

Easy trail that is well shaded, a few wet spots after the rain the night before. Had a toddler with us that walked 85% due to 1.9 miles and held our hand most of the time due to roots and rocks on the trail. All in all a nice short trail

This is a nice park with plenty of things to do. It's quite spacious with lots of room to roam, and there are tennis courts and playground equipment as well. Take a walk by the reservoir and enjoy the geese, or find a nice photo spot. There are plenty of possibilities.

Great outdoor space with hiking and biking trails. There is a small camp ground. There are areas where horses are allowed. I see people fishing and non motorized boats are allowed. Easy trail for anyone. Be aware that this trail can take a while to drain. After a small rainstorm it will be waterlogged for a few days. Even after a few days there will be some mud spots. The trail has shifted a few times so keep your eyes peeled for the correct blazes.

Did some kayaking with friends. They have a spot to launch from which is good. After we unloaded the kayaks there is parking across the street. Afterwards we grilled some dinner and had plenty of picnic tables to choose from with plenty of shade.

Excellent hiking trails all year round. A complete circuit of the park can be made along about 11 miles of trails with approximately 1150 feet elevation gain. The park features multiple trails and options for hikes as short 1 mile. The views of the lake are wonderful from the Blue, Red, Whitetail, and Hemlock Point trails. All trails feature some elevation gains, with the Blue trail trumping them all with some 680 feet of elevation gain in one direction. (remember to double that if going out and back). The ranger station at the Hill Road day use area features boat, kayak, and other water use rentals in the summer. enjoy this park all year round.

Due to not being able to walk 4 days from a bad back...the moment I could a dear friend got me out of the house & even at 4pm., was absolutely beautiful. The weather was fantastic, the scenery was gorgeous. Green Lane is def. one of my favorite places to go to in the area. Not one piece of trash, friendly staff and visitors. The perfect place to cook out, camp, ride bikes and your four legged friends will love it just as much! During their on season, canoeing is a must! Hope u get there to enjoy the leaves turning colors and all of the above!

Such a shame that this park has gone downhill. Blame the geese. Used to be able to swim and boat in the lake. No they have life guards to make sure you don't. Went hiking on the orange trail. Could be been better marked.

A nice little Montgomery County Park that has a camping ground associated with it and is a hotspot on the birding Trail. They allow watercraft on the lake but unpowered. A great place for a family picnic on a nice sunny day

Very cool park. Beautiful. Great trails. Off the beaten path and not well known, this county park is an undiscovered gem. The Perkiomen Trail begins in the park and it goes all the way from Green Lane to Audobon. In Audobon the Perkiomen Trail connects to the Schuylkill River trail and you can actually hike all the way to Philadelphia.
